Ready for a full evening in the spotlight as she readies for her new TV show's debut, Jennie Garth was among the stars on-hand for Nickelodeon's 25th Annual Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, California on Saturday evening (March 31).
The newly-single actress - who turns 40 on April 3rd - posed for pictures at the Galen Center venue while readying for the Will Smith hosted ceremony to get underway.
The appearance comes just weeks after Miss Garth and now ex-husband Peter Facinelli revealed that they were divorcing after over a decade of married life.
Assuring everyone that she and her former mate are making sure that their three young daughters don't suffer from the decision, Jennie recently told People magazine, "We are great parents together, so when it's about the kids, it's wonderful."
Of telling their children of the plans to part ways, Garth added, "We make it very clear to them they don't have to choose sides. They can go wherever they want and be with whom they want."

The tabloids have just gotten around to discussing what went down in Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli?s marriage. Where were the tabs a few months ago? Where were they a year ago, when everything seemed to be falling apart? Oh, right. They were endlessly cycling Uncool Bermuda Triangle stories. Anyway, just hours after Peter and Jennie announced their split, Scallywag & Vagabond reported that Peter had been engaged in an on-and-off two-year affair with a woman in Canada. Peter and Jennie later issued a statement denying the involvement of any ?third parties? in their split, but the PR damage was done (in my mind). I know believe that Peter was screwing around on Jennie for a while, and that Jennie simply doesn?t want to air her dirty laundry or publicly call him out. The Enquirer?s story seems to back that up:
The Twilight Saga sucked the life out of Peter Facinelli?s marriage to Jennie Garth, insiders say.
?All of their troubled can be traced back to 2008, when Peter costarred in the first Twilight film as vampire dad Dr. Carlisle Cullen,? revealed a friend of the family. ?Until then Jennie had the bigger name and was the family breadwinner. But after Twilight, Peter went from being a run-of-the-mill actor to a heartthrob overnight.?
Problems first appeared in 2012 when the couple put their Toluca Lake home on the market. In 2011, rumors swirled that they were taking time apart as Jennie lived with the girls at their ranch in Los Olivos, California, while preparing for the CMT reality show, ?Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country.?
?Peter was either filming in Canada for ?The Twilight Saga? or in New York for ?Nurse Jackie?,? said the source. ?Jennie suspected that he was seeing other women, and they?d have furious fights about it.?
Reports recently surfaced that Peter carried on a two-year affair with a 26-year-old Canadian woman. The illicit romance allegedly began in August 2009 during filming of Eclipse and picked up when the saga?s two Breaking Dawn installments were shot.
In a joint statement, Peter and Jennie denied that a third party was involved in their split. But a close source told The Enquirer, ?Jennie knew all about Peter and the woman, and there were other women as well. She turned a blind eye to it for as long as she could. But she finally got fed up.?

Yeah? I think it went down like this. Peter and Jennie were having problems, they sort-of/kind-of separated while Jennie lived with the girls on a farm, all while Peter worked in LA, NYC and Canada. And somewhere along the line, Peter just started fooling around. Maybe it?s just a matter of semantics as to whether they were actually separated or whatever? or maybe Jennie just thought they hit a rough patch and Peter would eventually come back after he worked out his junk. All I know is that it?s pretty sad, and I end up feeling a wave of sympathy for Jennie.

After the shocking announcement that Jennie Garth is divorcing Peter Facinelli after 11 years of marriage, we can expect to see her single life documented on her new reality show, CMT's Little Bit Country.
With appearances by her beautiful daughters, the former "Beverley Hills 90210" star talks about her divorce in her new series while her soon to be ex-husband is nowhere to be found.
In what seems to be a regular visit to the cows on the family farm, the absence of Peter is even more evident when Jennie tells her daughters, "See how close the baby sticks to his mommy? That's all a baby needs, his momma. Just the two of them. That makes a family."
Talking about the distance between herself and Peter, Jennie confesses, "Being out here on my own with the girls is not going to be easy but I know it's the right thing for us right now. I feel it in my heart. I'm excited about what's next."

I was genuinely surprised by how many cared/had opinions about Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth?s split announcement yesterday. I thought I was the only one who gave a crap. But it?s sad, isn?t it? They were together for a looooong time, and they have three beautiful girls. Unfortunately, my initial theory was right, or it seems like it so far, in the immediate wake of the split announcement. Scallywag & Vagabond is reporting that Peter had and still has (?) a side-piece. Booooo.
As we first broke the story last night right here on Scallywag & Vagabond, Peter Facinelli & Jennie Garth have called it quits. Now we?re getting details from our source saying a third party was one of the ?many reasons? behind their split.
Our source tells us, ?Peter had been seeing another woman for quite some time. They tried to make it work for the sake of their children and Jennie played housewife for as long as she could but finally had enough.?
On the affair, they say, ?Jennie knew. As a lot of couples do, they simply grew apart. As the mother of his children, Peter still loves Jennie very much and vice versa.?
So just who is this other woman? Our source tells us a she is a Canadian woman in her late 20?s. ?Understandably, she does not want to be identified by the media.? She and Facinelli began what?s being called as a ?short, torrid affair? in Vancouver during the filming of the final installment of the Twilight saga, Breaking Dawn. When asked if the two were still together or in contact? ?No comment,? says the source.
In a joint statement, the couple say, ?While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.?

The verdict: Twilight ruins everything!!! This never would have happened if Facinelli hadn?t been in Canada (damn homewrecking Canadians!!) filming the Twilight movies. Seriously, though, I am still disappointed. Even though I said yesterday ?He seems like the kind of guy who might have a side-piece,? I really did hope that I was wrong. Poor Jennie.

I?ve actually been wondering about Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli for months. Don?t judge me! This is my profession!!! I look through photos all day, and over the past few months, Peter has been doing a lot of public appearances solo. It never seemed worth it to devote a post to ?I wonder what?s going on with Peter and Jennie?? But now there?s a reason to ask – Us Weekly reports that they?re ending their marriage after 11 years together. They have three daughters together. Peter was just out last night at the premiere of The Hunger Games – he brought his daughter Luca Bella (I?ve included the photo at the end of the post):
Sad day for Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth. After 11 years of marriage, the Twilight Saga actor, 38, and Beverly Hills, 90210 alum, 39, have split, they tell Us Weekly in a statement.
“While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children,” Facinelli and Garth tell Us. “We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.”
The pair share three daughters: Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5.
It was first marriage for Facinelli and the second for What I Like About You’s Garth, who was married to Daniel Clark from 1994 to 1996.

From what I know of Peter and Jennie?s marriage, he is very family-oriented and he?s sort of an advocate for having a more ?traditional? marriage. I think that?s why we?ve seen so little of Jennie throughout their marriage – she was at home, raising their girls. Plus, you know, I?m sure she wasn?t offer a ton of acting work, but still. I wouldn?t have thought that Facinelli would have grown into a talented actor, but he really has – I was particularly impressed by a character arc he had on Damages several years ago. And of course, he?s been riding the Twilight wave too.
So? I?m guessing that it wasn?t about another woman or another man. Maybe it was just about his career and getting bored with each other, something like that? I don?t know. I could be wrong. He seems like the kind of guy who might have a side-piece.

I was just telling my mom that Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth have been married for over ten years. She’s a big Nurse Jackie fan and was recommending him for Hot Guy Friday. He’s not really my cup of tea, particularly as that strange-looking doctor vampire on Twilight. (Why did they have to dye his hair blonde? He just looks freaky that way.) I get Peter’s appeal though, and there are surely plenty of other women who would jump at the chance. If Perez Hilton is to be believed, Facinelli (and Garth) admirers may have their opportunity now that the couple is separated. They’re supposedly living apart. They were married in January, 2001 and have three daughters together: Luca, 14, Lola, 8, and Fiona, who turns five in September. Here’s the story from Perez:
Sources close to the couple reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that Twilight star Peter Facinelli and 90210 alum Jennie Garth are currently on a “break”.
The pair, who have been married since 2001, are currently living apart, insiders tell us.
“Jennie is living in the family home in Toluca Lake and Peter has been renting a home in Santa Ynez,” according to our source. “It’s not looking good!”
Insiders insist that no third party is involved, but divorce is looking like the final outcome.

That’s sad for their family. I’ve heard too many stories lately about couples not being able to work it out.
Back in November, 2008, Jennie said that divorce was not an option and seemed to hint that she was having problems in the marriage:
“In this industry, there?s always going to be someone more beautiful out there. It?s easy to be tempted. I?m not interested in taking the easy way out. Divorce is not an option for us. I want to be with my family.”
Jennie also said back then that she wanted more kids, but implied that Peter wasn’t on board. She joked “Will you talk to my husband for me please? I want to have a baby or adopt. My body keeps telling me to have babies.”
So it sounds like these two have been having problems for a while, and are disagreeing about whether they should have more kids. I hope that this report is wrong though. They seemed so solid. These photos are from May and June of 2010. A lot can change in a year.

Enjoying the cool fall weather, Jennie Garth was spotted attending the 13th Annual Walk to School Day in New York City today (October 5).
The ?Beverly Hills: 90210? babe looked cute and casual as she strolled up the street with students from PS 89 Liberty School.
Jennie teamed up with Green Works Naturally Derived Cleaners for the event, calling parents to help keep their children safe on their way to school.
October is International Walk to School Month, and communities who get involved can win a $5,000 grant for their school.

Always the lovely couple, Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth were among the stars on hand for the premiere of Summit Entertainment's "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (June 24).
Screened as part of the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, the Dr Carlisle Cullen hunk and his "90210" bride posed for pictures while greeting their avid fans.
With the "Eclipse" stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner all turning up , the movie showcase is deemed as one of the biggest events of the summer.
The film is scheduled to hit theaters next Wednesday (June 30), with a huge box office take all but assured.

They?re always up for a good cause, and last night (June 2) Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli were spotted at the 2010 Boys and Girls Clubs of America?s Chairman?s Gala.
The ?90210? babe and her ?Twilight? hubby were all smiles as they posed together outside the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City.
And while Peter has been focusing on promotions for his upcoming film ?Eclipse,? Jennie has been busy as a spokeswoman for the American Heart Association.
She explained, "Making the right choices for my heart isn't always easy, but my family history of heart disease has inspired me to live a better life for myself and my daughters. Go Red BetterU isn't about fad diets or trends, it helps busy women, like me, learn the skills to easily build healthier and better lives for ourselves and our families."

Pairing up for the day's agenda, Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth were among the stars on-hand for Step Up Women's Network's 7th Annual Inspiration Awards in Beverly Hills, California on Friday (May 14th).
Making their way to The Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "Beverly Hills 90210" beauty and her "Twilight" hunk hubby posed for pictures arm-in-arm upon arriving to the yearly charity fete - which is "dedicated to connecting and advancing women and girls."
Keeping quite busy as of late, Jennie spent the previous evening tending to presenter duties at the Young Hollywood Awards.
On Wednesday, Miss Garth was accompanied by her man as the pair checked out the Tinseltown premiere of "Letter to Juliet".
