Kim Kardashian?s birthday was last week, October 21st to be exact. To celebrate her actual birthday, Kanye West surprised her by waking her up at 3 am so they could fly to Hawaii for a mini-break. Which is sweet, although I think most moms would have preferred to just get a solid eight hours of sleep, you know? Anyway, Kim celebrated her birthday publicly by hostessing a party at TAO nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday. These are some photos from the event.
At this point, I?m kind of tired of seeing Kim?s body on display in awkward clothing. I think there are some women who can pull off sexy, revealing clothes and manage to actually look comfortable. Kim rarely looks comfortable. Her body looks like it was sculpted out of plastic and you could tell she didn?t love her dress because she was tugging at it and adjusting herself in half the red carpet shots. Kanye was there too, and for what it?s worth, he seemed happy to be there for his girl. Khloe was there too. She wore a gold grill, because of course.
The ES Standard Magazine released their full interview with Kim, which you can read here. I covered some of the early excerpts from the piece last week. The full article is well-written, but it?s done in that patronizing style of many UK journalists, especially when they?re dealing with American celebrities. Kim is perfectly pleasant in the piece and the journalist even admits as much, that Kim is one of the nicest celebrities she?s ever interviewed. There?s not much new info there, but Kim does admit that if she takes a bad selfie, she edits the photo before she posts it. Yeah, we know girl.

This ^^ is the new cover of The Standard?s ES Magazine. That?s Kim Kardashian. It?s a terrible cover, I know, and that oversaturated red makes my eyes hurt. I have good quotes from the magazine, but first: where in the world are Kim and Kanye? As it turns out, Kanye planned a ?surprise getaway? for Kim?s 34th birthday. He took her to Maui! That?s actually really sweet. I wonder if North was invited though? Hm. Here?s how Kanye celebrated Kim?s b-day (it was on Tuesday) on Twitter:

I?ll admit it: after looking at La Pinocchio Butt for too long, Kim Kardashian?s butt looks almost normal. Don?t get me wrong, I?m sure both Khloe and Kim have butt implants and they might even be in the midst of some kind of butt battle, but Khloe?s butt is clearly the winner, if by ?winner? we mean ?the biggest freakshow butt.? Anyway, these are new photos of Kim out and about in West Hollywood yesterday. She stopped by some office building and then she did some shopping at Fred Segal.
I don?t really get Kim?s outfit. But after yesterday?s fiasco ensemble ? the jorts and backless shirt thing ? this outfit is almost a welcome respite. Still, I don?t get the combo of a red ribbed-knit skirt with a grey bodysuit. I?ve never been one of those people declaring some color to be ?the new neutral,? which is what happened here. Someone told Kim that either grey or red is the ?new neutral? and thus it could be paired with any other color. When really, this combination just looks off. To me. Maybe I?m alone. Fame/Flynet also notes that Kim was carrying a purse that read ?PUNTA.? Yikes.
Meanwhile, Radar says that Kim has over-the-top demands for any appearance or business deal that she might undertake:

According to the emails, Kardashian?s minimum rate for an endorsement is $750,000 to $1 million. Wrote the rep, ?I think you should definitely come back with the best offer that you can make her from a money standpoint, so that we can save the time going back and forth.?

Did Kim Kardashian borrow Benedict Cumberbatch?s unfortunate jorts? OMG. Here are some photos of Kim and Kanye West out and about in Calabasas yesterday (they went to a movie). Kim?s outfit is horrendous from the front, but the back view is particularly? unsettling. I?m guessing that Kanye dressed her, just because this seems like the kind of outfit he enjoys on his Real Doll. We?ve actually seen this braless top on Kim before, so she?s recycling it for this outing. The jorts are? well, I can?t remember a time when I?ve seen Kim in jorts. She should never do this again.
Kim turns 34 years old tomorrow. I always forget her age for some reason, although people made a big deal about it back when she turned 30. I personally think she only married Kris Humphries because she wanted to be engaged/married by her 30th birthday and that was literally the only reason she went with Humphries. For this year?s birthday, Kim is going to have a huge party at the Venetian’s TAO nightclub in Las Vegas. TAO is always paying Kardashians to host parties, so I would imagine Kim is picking up a nice paycheck to host her birthday event there.
After the movie, Kim and Kanye went through the drive-thru of Taco Bell. Ew!!! Something about that outfit and the thought of Mexican food? ew.

Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian out and about in Studio City, CA yesterday. Whenever I don?t see Kim for a week or so, I always assumed she?s getting something ?done.? But I have to say? I think she looks good here. I?m really loving her new, tousled and slightly shorter hairstyle. I like the clean white outfit on her too. Yesterday, Kim was complaining about her sweet tooth on Twitter, writing: ?Whats the name of that documentary about sugar? I have such a sweet tooth but I know I have to watch this and make some changes.? So I guess she?s still struggling with her diet/exercise routine.
Meanwhile, Kim and North West cover the new issue of Us Weekly this week. It?s all about how Kim and Kanye spoil North and how North has: ?Over 200 pieces of unworn designer clothing, a $3,950 crib, at least five strollers worth nearly $1000 each, an all-organic diet and private chef, pricey bling, including half-carat studs worth more than $50k, her own walk-in closet and VIP music lessons.? Some highlights:

The 16-month-old lives a life of luxury most people – children and adults alike – could only dream of, and new details have emerged of just how extravagant her lifestyle really is. According to US Weekly, the tot has over 200 pieces of designer clothing that she’s never worn. Items in her closet include a $375 silk Oscar de la Renta dress, a $200 leopard viscose frock from Roberto Cavalli, an Alexander Wang leather dress, and Giuseppe Zanotti custom-made shoes.
‘Kim and Kanye are grateful when designers send them some pieces,’ a source told the magazine. ‘North loves clothes and getting ready to go out. It’s a lot of fun.’
In addition, North is also the owner of some pricey bling, most notably half-carat Lorraine Schwartz studs worth ‘well over $50,000,’ said the insider.
The couple also ensure North’s surroundings are similarly lavish. Although North has lived mostly at the Hidden Hills, California house of her grandmother Kris Jenner (known as ‘Lovey’ to the little girl), the couple just purchased a $20 million mansion down the road, replete with a walk-in closet just for North. Her current playroom, meanwhile, contains ‘tons of dolls,’ said the source. ‘She loves to push them in strollers.’
North has already clocked up more air miles than most children, and her parents make sure to maintain her luxurious lifestyle wherever they are. According to the publication, Kim keeps ‘at least’ five strollers – the $940 Orbit Baby G2 Travel System – in key locales around the globe.
‘She has one in Paris and New York, and she keeps one at her sisters’ houses,’ said the source.
To take things a step further, Kim and Kanye make sure North’s all-white nursery, including her $3,950 crib, ‘is replicated wherever they stay..All of North’s stuff is always waiting at the location they’re traveling to,’ said the source.
During the family’s recent trip to Paris Fashion Week, North and her nanny allegedly had their own penthouse suite at the Le Royal Monceau hotel. North also had her own chef during the stay. ‘They use a local caterer to bring in food for North while she is in Paris. Kim likes Nori’s food to be all organic.’
But North may soon have to share the spotlight with a sibling, if Kim has her way.
‘Kim wants to be pregnant now,’ said a source. And apparently Kanye is hoping for a boy the second time around. Said the insider: ‘He wants an heir to his throne.’

To his credit, I don?t think Kanye really cares if he gets a son. Kanye seems delighted and completely in love with his daughter, and I doubt he would be disappointed if they had a second girl. As for the rest of it? stupid excess. I believe most of it too. I think it?s understandable for parents of means to spoil their baby (especially their first, when everything is brand new), but some of this stuff just seems so stupid and wasteful. Like, I?m really offended that Kim is leaving strollers all around the world.

Kicking off their weekend a little early, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner hit the town in Los Angeles last night (October 9).
The ?Keeping Up with the Kardashians? chicks headed over to The Grove where they posed up a storm together at the Charlotte Tilbury Arrives In America: VIP Beauty Launch Event, presented by Nordstrom.
Later this month, Kim will turn 34 years old, and she?ll host a swanky shindig at the Venetian?s TAO Nightclub in Las Vegas to celebrate.
Kimmy?s big birthday bash will take place on October 24th (her real birthday is the 21st) and tickets for the shindig range from $30 all the way up to $5,000 for the Platinum Package.

Always looking to upgrade her look, Kim Kardashian opted for a collection of gold rings to honor her 14-month-old daughter North West.
The 33-year-old E! reality star posted a selfie via Instagram on Monday (October 6) while holding up the ?N-O-R-T-H W-E-S-T? rings strewn across her hands.
Unfortunately for her husband Kanye, the new arrangement seemed to have replaced the $1.25 million engagement ring he gave his wife.
Meanwhile, Kim previously complained via Twitter about a lack of social media manners coming from the people in her news feed- ?People who post lots of quotes have major issues lol? I can't take all the quotes in my feed. Twitter is ok but IG is for pics!?
And when her followers accused her of taking shots at her sister Khloe (who tends to be pretty prolific via Instagram), Kardashian replied, ?I'm not throwing shade at my sister's quotes. She doesn't overdo it. Just speaking in general of people who post too many quotes. I would never throw shade to my sissy on Twitter.?

Did you enjoy our Kardashian-free break yesterday? I hope so. We actually had some new photos of Kim Kardashian, but there was just so much going on with Alamooney that Kim?s nonsense got pushed aside. Now that everything is slowing down, we might as well cover some of these photos. First up: Kim stepped out with North West today in Paris. Yes, Kim and her family are still camped out in Paris, partying and attending high-profile events. Something nice: North looks adorable in these photos. Something unpleasant: Kim?s holey ensemble is the pits. What the hell?
Last night, Kim attended a party for CR Fashion Book (Carine Roitfeld?s project) and Kim had her boobs out. You can check out her Instagram photos here. Riccardo Tisci was acting as Kim?s date for the event, at least that?s what it seemed like. Kim was wearing Givenchy. Also on Kim?s IG: a mysterious photo of Kim and Cara Delevingne looking damp together. Kim says it?s about some ?secret project.? My guess? They probably did a photoshoot together. Maybe for CR Fashion Book. Or something.
I?m also including some photos of Kim out and about in Paris earlier this week. The fringed ensemble is pretty bad. As is the sheer-pants ensemble. This Paris trip has not been the best for Kim?s fashion, quite honestly.

The couple attended the Lanvin show wearing revealing tops with plunging necklines. Kimmy donned a tuxedo jacket, which exposed her ample bosoms, with a very short distressed mini-shirt. Talk about daring.
?She started to cry when we were walking out the door [of our hotel],? Kim told Yahoo of her one-year-old daughter. ?And we couldn?t leave her. So, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. It was an amazing fashion show for her to be at for her first show. She loves it!?
