On Saturday night in LA, the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino was held at the LACMA. They got a really good turnout this year ? lots and lots of A-listers and friends of Quentin Tarantino and Barbara Kruger. Plus, lots of famewhores, of course. Like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The event was sponsored by Gucci, so of course Kim did NOT wear Gucci. Instead, she poured herself into this unfortunate Cushnie et Ochs dress. What is wrong with her? I?m getting tired of just blaming Kanye for Kim?s crappy style. I mean, obviously, Kanye treats Kim like his dress-up Real Doll. But at some point, Kim has to own her crappy style. There is no reason for a short, curvy girl to wear this dress. Kim probably thinks she looks like a model in it, but the length and cut make her look shorter and wider. The top is a mess too. I love the color (I love a rich sapphire) but in cheap-looking satin? NO.
Kim also accessorized with Tom Ford heels and a Cartier necklace. I?m assuming the necklace was borrowed, just because I really hope Kim doesn?t own such a bad piece. As for Kanye? I honestly don?t mind the leather pants or the black blazer. This is what pisses me off: the brown suede booties. Kanye loves a pair of booties and he also loves a fringed moccasin. He has some legit shoe game, but he needs to invest in some proper dress shoes? in black. This outfit would have been so much better with some Gucci booties in black leather.

I might have to give Kim Kardashian some begrudging credit for her Halloween costumes this year. Why is that? Because Kim resisted the urge to expose her body in weird and unique ways. I guess she just saves that kind of stuff for non-Halloween days. For Halloween this year, Kim did two different costumes. The second costume is above, the head pic. Kim was Anna Wintour and she put North West in a little black muumuu, which means North was Andre Leon Talley. There?s also a mini-Karl Lagerfeld and a Grace Coddington. Grace Coddington was played by Kim?s makeup artist and friend Joyce Bonelli and Joyce?s son was mini-Karl.
People think that Kim is aiming for that second Vogue cover. Perhaps. That would certainly piss people off and the crazy would go next-level. I think Kim?s costume is pretty clever though ? she clearly searched out and found a really great Wintour Wig. Too bad she didn?t spend the money for a real Chanel suit. That costume suit looks budget as hell.
The other set of Halloween costumes? Kim was a skeleton. Basically, she wanted to wear something skin-tight, but I do like her makeup there. And North got a little skunk costume, which is ADORABLE. North is such a cutie.

Here is Kim Kardashian messing around when it comes to her figure these days. A day after admitting she’s continuing to “waist train,” the reality star worked up a sweat in a Barry’s Bootcamp class in Los Angeles.
She’s wearing her gym uniform of black leggings and a black zip-up, North West’s mom looked trim as she made her way into the grueling workout class.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian and her sisters dropping off cards and gifts for Bruce Jenner?s birthday earlier this week. I think these photos are from Wednesday. Kim?s ensemble is an eyesore and of course it?s much, much too tight. But it?s not even the worst thing she?s worn this month.
Given Kim?s unfortunate habit of exposing her body in weird ways AND given Kim?s recent obsession with ?waist training,? can we say for sure that she?s not pregnant right now? Apparently we can?t say that, because there?s a rumor going around that Kim is knocked up again. The gist is that Kim did a video interview with Pixiwoo at some point in the last month and she was talking about maternity clothes. She said: ?I wore my regular clothes and I would just buy a size up. I don’t know if I would necessarily do that this time around…Pregnancy style is hard.? Do you see what people are picking apart? ?THIS time around.? God, I really hope this is true. I want her to be pregnancy twinsies with Duchess Kate again. PLEASE LORD LET IT HAPPEN. It?s probably not happening though – Kim’s rep told Page Six definitively that Kim is “not pregnant.” BOO!
Meanwhile, I?m sure this story is crap but it made me laugh so much. Probably because it sounds so possible and so Kanyeezington.

The 34-year-old reality star donned a white crop top with matching skirt that tightly hugged her figure as she made her way past the awaiting photographers.

Kim Kardashian made an appearance at the Re/code conference on Monday in California. She sat down for a Q&A session and she ended up talking about her branded video game (which is still making crazy money), her favorite phones and her reality show. You can read the full coverage here ? there were plenty of eye-roll moments, but all in all? she has been ahead of the social media curve most of her adult life, you know? Some highlights:
When asked why people don?t take her seriously: ?I don?t know. That is a question that sometimes I get frustrated with. I pride myself with my work ethic, and I work really hard. I think when people hear that I might have gotten success off of a ?reality show,? they take that as a negative. We?re in our tenth season. We have more episodes than ?I Love Lucy.? We have so many milestones that people don?t think about.?
She works really hard, you guys: ?I wake up every single day at 6 am, and go to the gym, and get my daughter up, feed my baby, film all day, sometimes don?t finish until 8 or 9 pm, and that?s every single day, six days a week, for five months straight while we?re filming ? I don?t think reality TV gets the respect it deserves.?
Being called ?the Olympics of oversharing?: ?I?ve always just been open. I?ve been super-open with my life, and that?s just who I am, and that?s how my family is, too,? Kardashian West responded, noting later in the interview that she handles all of her social media posting ? and seemed genuinely flabbergasted that other celebs might have teams do this for them.
She is NOT paid $10,000 per tweet: ?I would have been tweeting every two seconds if it was true.?
Loving Instagram: ?I?m loving Instagram. I think you can be really creative, and a little more intimate. It has more texture than just words, obviously? [I have] a three-image rule. In the same setting, I try not to do more than three. It oversaturates my feed.?
She?s loyal to Blackberry: ?I love my BlackBerry. I don?t understand the reaction I get when I say that. It?s my heart and soul, I love it and I?ll never get rid of it. I do have an iPhone, and I use it for photos. But if you write an email and you need to type fast ? I like having the [key]board. They don?t even have them in stores anymore. I buy them on eBay. It?s a BlackBerry Bold. And I like to have three in my room that I line up in case they break.?
Her iOS Kim Kardashian: Hollywood game and whether it?s really made $200 million: ?We?ll never talk dollars and cents ? It could be more. It could be less. It?s been very good to me.?

She also said that she?s working with video game people to add more ?characters? to the game and it sounds like there will be some updates that will probably add up to even more $$$ for Kim. As for her Blackberry obsession ? I?ve known people, professional people, who are still very loyal to their Blackberries too. I think it?s just like Apple loyalty ? it?s just a preference for user-friendliness and some people are happier with the feel of a Blackberry.
Oh, and she really needs to stop comparing Keeping Up with the Kardashians with I Love Lucy. STAHP.

Kim Kardashian?s birthday was last week, October 21st to be exact. To celebrate her actual birthday, Kanye West surprised her by waking her up at 3 am so they could fly to Hawaii for a mini-break. Which is sweet, although I think most moms would have preferred to just get a solid eight hours of sleep, you know? Anyway, Kim celebrated her birthday publicly by hostessing a party at TAO nightclub in Las Vegas on Friday. These are some photos from the event.
At this point, I?m kind of tired of seeing Kim?s body on display in awkward clothing. I think there are some women who can pull off sexy, revealing clothes and manage to actually look comfortable. Kim rarely looks comfortable. Her body looks like it was sculpted out of plastic and you could tell she didn?t love her dress because she was tugging at it and adjusting herself in half the red carpet shots. Kanye was there too, and for what it?s worth, he seemed happy to be there for his girl. Khloe was there too. She wore a gold grill, because of course.
The ES Standard Magazine released their full interview with Kim, which you can read here. I covered some of the early excerpts from the piece last week. The full article is well-written, but it?s done in that patronizing style of many UK journalists, especially when they?re dealing with American celebrities. Kim is perfectly pleasant in the piece and the journalist even admits as much, that Kim is one of the nicest celebrities she?s ever interviewed. There?s not much new info there, but Kim does admit that if she takes a bad selfie, she edits the photo before she posts it. Yeah, we know girl.

This ^^ is the new cover of The Standard?s ES Magazine. That?s Kim Kardashian. It?s a terrible cover, I know, and that oversaturated red makes my eyes hurt. I have good quotes from the magazine, but first: where in the world are Kim and Kanye? As it turns out, Kanye planned a ?surprise getaway? for Kim?s 34th birthday. He took her to Maui! That?s actually really sweet. I wonder if North was invited though? Hm. Here?s how Kanye celebrated Kim?s b-day (it was on Tuesday) on Twitter:

I?ll admit it: after looking at La Pinocchio Butt for too long, Kim Kardashian?s butt looks almost normal. Don?t get me wrong, I?m sure both Khloe and Kim have butt implants and they might even be in the midst of some kind of butt battle, but Khloe?s butt is clearly the winner, if by ?winner? we mean ?the biggest freakshow butt.? Anyway, these are new photos of Kim out and about in West Hollywood yesterday. She stopped by some office building and then she did some shopping at Fred Segal.
I don?t really get Kim?s outfit. But after yesterday?s fiasco ensemble ? the jorts and backless shirt thing ? this outfit is almost a welcome respite. Still, I don?t get the combo of a red ribbed-knit skirt with a grey bodysuit. I?ve never been one of those people declaring some color to be ?the new neutral,? which is what happened here. Someone told Kim that either grey or red is the ?new neutral? and thus it could be paired with any other color. When really, this combination just looks off. To me. Maybe I?m alone. Fame/Flynet also notes that Kim was carrying a purse that read ?PUNTA.? Yikes.
Meanwhile, Radar says that Kim has over-the-top demands for any appearance or business deal that she might undertake:
