Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at LAX a few days ago, looking sort of morose. I don?t know why ? last week was a good week for her. She got a lot of attention for showing off her greased-up and Photoshopped body in an attempt to #BreakTheInternet. Everyone was talking about her. Even people who don?t care about celebrity gossip had an opinion about Kim?s Paper Mag photoshoot. It was the weirdest thing. You?d think the whole world hadn?t seen her naked several times already.
Meanwhile, the Paper Magazine photos have led to a revival of the debate about whether Kim has augmented (or continues to augment) her booty. I?ve actually gone back and forth on the idea ? I have no doubt that Kim augments other parts of her body (her lips, her waist, her breasts, her nose) and while I think she?s probably had work done to her booty, I do wonder if it?s really ?butt implants,? you know? But the NYDN spoke to some plastic surgeons about Kim?s booty. And Khloe?s Pinocchio Butt, which we all know is made of lies.
Are the Kardashians for real? No, really. The Sisters Kardashian ? Kim with her baby-oil-enhanced appearance in Paper magazine this week and Khloe with her shelf-like posterior, courtesy of trainer Gunnar Peterson ? have revived debate about whether those killer kurves are natural or simply the perfect marriage of Photoshop and fat-filled syringes. To get to the bottom of it all, we asked the experts.
?Kim has had enhancement for sure,? says Dr. Basil Pakeman, who performs Brazilian butt lifts at Manhattan Surgical Care on the Upper East Side. Packman, who has not worked on either Kardashian sister, said he knows that baby got fake back because he noticed a ?little dot? near the top of her butt. ?That?s one of the incision points we use to inject fat during procedures,? he says.
Those procedures, which involve liposuction on the stomach, hips, thighs and back followed by fat injections on the top, center and bottom of the buttocks, have been growing in popularity since Jennifer Lopez first shimmied in her ?Love Don?t Cost a Thing? video in 2000. It caused a revolution. A curvy body ? especially one with a big butt ? became more popular than the heroin-chic anorexic look of a decade earlier. But Kim and Khloe have taken the bootylicious craze to a cartoonish level.
?Certainly, the Paper magazine images do not look real,? says Dr. Victoria Karlinsky, chief cosmetic surgeon at New Look New Life on the Upper West Side. ?She looks incredibly thin in the waist and has absolutely no body fat. I can?t imagine anyone having enough body fat to create something like that.?
Paper?s creative director, Mickey Boardman, told Us Weekly that the photos were doctored slightly, but maintained that no extra meat was added to Kardashian?s bones. Others are unconvinced.
Karlinsky adds that Khloe, who already has an accentuated lumbar spine that curves nicely, would have no trouble filling out her already curvaceous behind.
?When somebody [like Khloe] has that natural ?C? curve, it?s easy to augment,? says Karlinsky, adding that the work was ?beautifully done.?
Like Karlinsky, many professionals are calling out the magazine cover shot for being heavily distorted using Photoshop.
?Not sure what screams #photoshop more, the 12-inch waist, or the solid color background?? tweeted Dr. Matthew Schulman, a New York plastic surgeon who performs butt lifts.

Yeah, I like that plastic surgeons just take it as a given that Khloe has gotten booty work done. Because it really is THAT obvious. As for Kim? yeah, probably. I think she had a naturally big butt, but as her body changed over the years, she?s gotten fat sucked out of her waist and put into her rear. Is that how they do it? Meh.
Oh, and Kim posted a bunch of photos of North out with her ?aunties? at the zoo. One of the aunties is Lorraine Schwartz. Apparently, North had her first hot chocolate and she smiled a real smile at all of the fishies.

Kim Kardashian covers the new issue of Paper Magazine. There are two covers – one is the above cover, where Kim balanced a champagne glass on her butt and managed – through Photoshop wizardry – to pour champagne in the glass. The second cover is NSFW because Kim posed nude – go here to see the NSFW image. I’m not offended whatsoever by Kim’s butt, but I am offended by the ganky Photoshop used to make Kim’s waist look like a Barbie doll’s waist. Kim has a small waist in proportion to her curvy body, but it’s not THAT small.
In other Kardashian news… over the summer, Kim?s iOS game ?Kim Kardashian: Hollywood? debuted and became an instant success. Kim had partnered with a small company, Glu Mobile, and its stock price spiked quickly. Most gaming industry analysts predicted that the game would likely earn $200 million in its first year. I still haven?t played it, but from what I hear, the game is free to download and then you can ?buy money? within the game, and that?s turned out to be incredibly lucrative because the game is like crack. The game debuted in late June, and in the past four-plus months, it has already earned $43 million.
Well, we’re clearly doing something wrong. Kim Kardashian’s mobile game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, has made $43 million since its launch this past June, the company disclosed in its third-quarter earnings report.
In fact, the reality star’s game has earned more for the company (Glu Mobile) than all their other apps — combined! (If it makes you feel any better, the company did predict that the game would earn $200 million by the end of the year).
In case you’ve yet to play KKH, players create their own celebrity and attempt to rise to A-list fame. To get to Kardashian-celeb status quicker, players can advance by purchasing virtual goods, like a house in Malibu for $10.
In an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show in August, Kardashian defended her game against complaints it was addictive and was able to bypass in-app purchase controls. “You just have to make sure that your parental controls are all set. I think you just have to be responsible, and don’t have your credit card linked to where your kid can just spend if they want to,” Kanye West’s wife said. “It’s just a fun little game. It’s kind of like when people get into Candy Crush so much?it’s just something fun to do.”

Well, $43 million is not $200 million, but it?s nothing to sneeze at. Over the summer, TMZ reported that Kim?s cut of the profits will be 45%. So, if they game closes out 2014 with, say, $60 million in profits, Kim is still walking away with something like $19-20 million in before-tax profits. This is probably one of her most lucrative ventures ever. Plus, she?s working with Glu Mobile on more games/apps too ? she?s said that she wants to do, like, Kim Kardashian: Dubai and go in that direction.

You know how Kim Kardashian has been looking like a drowsy hooker on so many red carpets lately? I think I?ve figured it out. It?s a combination of A) some new eye makeup, which is too dark and it makes her look tired and B) a new way of posing, where Kim keeps her chin too far down and she looks like she?s about to nod off. As for the hooker-wear, well? I still have no explanation for that. This whole ensemble is just so unflattering ? curvy girls cannot pull off oversized fashion-cloaks. The only people who could pull off this kind of ensemble? Tall, thin model-types. Kim always fails at dressing for her body type.
These are pics of Kim and Khloe at the launch party for ?Hairfinity hair vitamins? in London last night. Kim had been in NYC for a few days with Kanye and North. I said (wrongly) last week that Kim and North were heading directly for Europe, where I assumed Kanye would have more performances for his Yeezus tour. But the Kardashian-West family did spend several days in NYC and there was bad fashion, of course. I?ll save those photos for another day.
Meanwhile, Kim?s book of selfies now has a release date: April 28, 2015. It will be, like, a coffee table book of just drowsy hooker photos. But of course the publisher has to fluff it up a bit, try to make it sound like high art:

The reality star’s book will feature never-before-seen snapshots from “her early beginnings as a wardrobe stylist,” Rizzoli publishing recently posted on its site. It will also present “some of Kim’s favorite selfies in one volume?from her favorite throwback images to current ultra-sexy glam shots.”
The book description also compared Kardashian to none other than Marilyn Monroe. She’s “one of the most recognizable and iconic celebrities in the world. From her early beginnings as a wardrobe stylist, Kim Kardashian has catapulted herself into becoming one of the most recognizable celebrities in Hollywood,” the publisher’s note continues. “Hailed by many (including Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci) as the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe, Kim has become a true American icon.”
News of Kardashian’s selfie book (she took 1,200 pics alone while vacationing in Thailand earlier this year) was announced back in August. Since then, she’s added an author bio that reflects her life as a wife and mother.
It reads: “A new mom to her daughter, North, and happily married to the rapper Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is on top of the world, and this collection of hand-picked images from her personal archive is a tribute to her fans who have supported her through her very highly publicized journey.”

Riccardo Tisci must have been drunk off his ass when he said that Kim is the modern-day personification of Marilyn Monroe. For the love of God!! Call me crackie, but I could make a better argument for Lindsay Lohan as Marilyn rather than Kim. What the hell?

Of all of the stupid crap done for attention, I?ve never understood the no-eyebrow look. Like, I would never shave my head for attention or post really revealing selfies on my social media, but I have some understanding of why people do those things and where those urges come from. I don?t understand the shaved/bleached eyebrow thing at all, and there are SO MANY famewhores doing it these days. Miley did it. Katy Perry did it. Noomi Rapace did it (she wasn?t a famewhore about it though). Lady Gaga did it. And now Kim Kardashian did it.
These are Instagram photos posted by Kim. They were taken Monday night at Kendall Jenner?s 19th birthday party, and Kim posted them yesterday. In the two posted photos, Kim is posing with Cara Delevingne ? Cara and Kim hung out during Paris Fashion Week this year and they?re probably posing together for some kind of editorial project or magazine cover. Kim posted one photo with the hashtags: #KendallsBDayParty #DontBeScaredOfMyBleachedBrows #ItsForAPhotoShoot. So maybe Cara and Kim reunited for more editorial work? The thing is? Cara doesn?t need Kim for any kind of magazine work. Cara gets her own work. She?s an It Girl and all of the magazines want her. Cara is hanging out with Kim because she actually likes Kim. Weird, right?
Anyway, the bleached brows? always a terrible look. But at least it?s just for a photo shoot. I?m assuming Kim will go back to dark brows in a day or two.

It?s time for the midterm elections, and many of our favorite celebrities are urging fans to head to their local polling place and cast their vote.
Kim Kardashian uploaded a cartoon drawing of herself with President Barack Obama, stating that she?ll vote the way he would want her to- ?I?m standing w Obama in the midterm election 2morrow! Find out what u need to cast ur ballot.?
Additionally, Pharrell Williams wrote, ?Voting is a right we can't take for granted. If you want to make change, you have to act. Go to the polls and let your voice be heard,? while Queen Latifah tweeted, ?Make it your duty and use your power for GOOD to go out and vote today!?
Furthermore, Gabrielle Union declared, ?VOTE!!! Let your voice be heard... do not silence yourself. .. do NOT surrender!?
And Nikki Reed posted a photo of a voting sticker and a ballot label along with the message, I still carry these stickers in my wallet. Want to know why??? Because it reminds me that I have a voice...we all have a voice...it's about using it where it counts. Tomorrow is Election Day! On Saturday night in LA, the 2014 LACMA Art + Film Gala honoring Barbara Kruger and Quentin Tarantino was held at the LACMA. They got a really good turnout this year ? lots and lots of A-listers and friends of Quentin Tarantino and Barbara Kruger. Plus, lots of famewhores, of course. Like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The event was sponsored by Gucci, so of course Kim did NOT wear Gucci. Instead, she poured herself into this unfortunate Cushnie et Ochs dress. What is wrong with her? I?m getting tired of just blaming Kanye for Kim?s crappy style. I mean, obviously, Kanye treats Kim like his dress-up Real Doll. But at some point, Kim has to own her crappy style. There is no reason for a short, curvy girl to wear this dress. Kim probably thinks she looks like a model in it, but the length and cut make her look shorter and wider. The top is a mess too. I love the color (I love a rich sapphire) but in cheap-looking satin? NO.
Kim also accessorized with Tom Ford heels and a Cartier necklace. I?m assuming the necklace was borrowed, just because I really hope Kim doesn?t own such a bad piece. As for Kanye? I honestly don?t mind the leather pants or the black blazer. This is what pisses me off: the brown suede booties. Kanye loves a pair of booties and he also loves a fringed moccasin. He has some legit shoe game, but he needs to invest in some proper dress shoes? in black. This outfit would have been so much better with some Gucci booties in black leather.

I might have to give Kim Kardashian some begrudging credit for her Halloween costumes this year. Why is that? Because Kim resisted the urge to expose her body in weird and unique ways. I guess she just saves that kind of stuff for non-Halloween days. For Halloween this year, Kim did two different costumes. The second costume is above, the head pic. Kim was Anna Wintour and she put North West in a little black muumuu, which means North was Andre Leon Talley. There?s also a mini-Karl Lagerfeld and a Grace Coddington. Grace Coddington was played by Kim?s makeup artist and friend Joyce Bonelli and Joyce?s son was mini-Karl.
People think that Kim is aiming for that second Vogue cover. Perhaps. That would certainly piss people off and the crazy would go next-level. I think Kim?s costume is pretty clever though ? she clearly searched out and found a really great Wintour Wig. Too bad she didn?t spend the money for a real Chanel suit. That costume suit looks budget as hell.
The other set of Halloween costumes? Kim was a skeleton. Basically, she wanted to wear something skin-tight, but I do like her makeup there. And North got a little skunk costume, which is ADORABLE. North is such a cutie.

Here is Kim Kardashian messing around when it comes to her figure these days. A day after admitting she’s continuing to “waist train,” the reality star worked up a sweat in a Barry’s Bootcamp class in Los Angeles.
She’s wearing her gym uniform of black leggings and a black zip-up, North West’s mom looked trim as she made her way into the grueling workout class.
