Preparing for some traveling, Halle Berry arrived at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Thursday (May 2).
The "Cloud Atlas" star covered her baby bump in a long gray sweater and black pants with a gray cap as she chatted on her phone while in line.
In a recent interview with HELLO! magazine, the 46-year-old actress explained the surprising way she found out she was pregnant.
Candidly revealing details, Halle shares, "I was at the doctor's when they told me and I was completely shocked. I didn't see it coming. I went to the doctor because I thought I had kidney stones or something. Olivier [Martinez] and I have always wanted to be parents, but I didn't want to get my hopes up."

Exuding joy as she experiences being pregnant with her second child, Halle Berry caught a flight out of LAX Airport on Thursday (April 18).
The "Cloud Atlas" star covered her baby bump in a large gray sweater and blue jeans as she held made her way past the awaiting mob of paparazzi.
Earlier this month, the 46-year-old actress spoke to CNN.com about the shock of finding out she was going to give her daughter Nahla a sibling.
Pleased with the news, Ms. Berry admitted, "This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it?s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.?

Here are some photos of Halle Berry in Rio de Janeiro, walking the red carpet for the Brazilian premiere of The Call. Just to give you some idea of how much Halle?s pregnant belly has ?popped?, THIS is what she looked like just four days ago and THIS is what she looked like two weeks ago in Hawaii. Like, Halle literally ?popped? overnight. It?s making me wonder if she?s further along than we suspected? One week ago, wasn?t everyone claiming that she?s about three months along? I wonder if it?s closer to four.
As for the dress, it?s Monique Lhuillier. CB called it a ?crazy 90s dress? and it does look kind of dated, but I think that?s just what Halle does to clothes. Some women make couture look budget, some women make thrift store finds look expensive and some women (like Halle) make everything look like it?s 1998. Which is fine, I guess, because Halle still looks the same as she did in 1998. Personally, I kind of like the idea of the dress (I especially like the lace back and the quality of the lace) but the execution is kind of meh.
Also, can I just say how weird it is that Halle is spending so much time promoting The Call in South America? If she was in Asia and Europe, I would understand it, because Halle actually does have global fame and she?s popular in Europe and Asia. But I never think of South America as a hotbed of Halle Berry fandom. Perhaps I?m underestimating how much love Halle gets everywhere she goes. Or perhaps I?m underestimating how badly Halle needs The Call to make some money so she can justify her paycheck.

Tending to her non-stop work schedule, Halle Berry was on hand for "The Call" premiere in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday (April 11).
Though the 46-year-old actress' good looks always take center stage on the red carpet, there was something else catching the eyes of photographers and fans alike.
Looking gorgeous in a figure-hugging black gown with sheer cutouts, Halle let her growing baby bump be the center of attention at the main event.
Hitting theaters this Friday, "The Call" follows a veteran 911 operator who takes a life-altering call from a teenage girl who has just been abducted, she realizes that she must confront a killer from her past in order to save the girl's life.

I just spent way too long staring at Halle Berry?s chest in these photos. These pics are from April 8 ? Halle was in Buenos Aires, Argentina for the South American premiere of The Call. The dress is Roberto Cavalli? is it lined? Or are we seeing Halle Nip? I really can?t tell if it?s a trick of the lighting or what.
Anyway, as everybody knows now, Halle is pregnant. I wouldn?t have been able to determine that from these photos at all ? she has a tiny little bump, barely noticeable. In her first interview since her pregnancy announcement, Halle said that her second pregnancy was ?the biggest surprise of my life? Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it?s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.? I nit-picked that statement a few days ago, trying to figure out if Halle was actually surprised by the pregnancy or surprised that she got pregnant with fertility treatments. In this week?s Us Weekly, ?sources? claim that Halle was ?definitely trying? for a baby but at first she didn?t realize she was pregnant, she thought she was going through menopause.
Us Weekly also claims that Halle has made Olivier sign a ?baby prenup? with basically says that Olivier will always provide financial support for the baby even if they break up. I was already doubting that, mostly because I don?t think Halle is self-aware enough to admit that she and Olivier will ever split. But Halle has already gone to TMZ to deny that the ?baby prenup? exists. So? yeah, I was right. She?s not that self-aware. It?s also strange to me because I was under the impression that Halle is wealthy one in that relationship, and while Olivier probably has saved his money, Halle is flat-out rich. Interestingly enough, Halle spoke about money and her career with E! News in a new interview:
Here’s one thing we can expect from expectant mom Halle Berry once she’s done expecting: She won’t go MIA. The actress famously went on a four-year hiatus after the birth of her daughter Nahla in 2008, choosing to withdraw from the Hollywood spotlight in order to savor the joys of being a first-time parent.
Flash-forward five years later, and the 46-year-old actress once again has on the baby way, as she an fianc Olivier Martinez await the arrival of their first child together, a son. But this time around, don’t expect the Oscar winner to pull a disappearing act once the baby is born.
Berry exclusively tells E! News that she vows to continue taking on movie roles postbaby.
“Well, one thing is for sure: I better keep working!” she quipped during a stopover in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to promote her new movie The Call. “With another baby on the way, Mama cannot take time off!”
In other words, Mama’s gotta pay the bills! Kidding aside, the star explains that she’s approaching Baby No. 2 with a workaholic vigor.
“I think that when I had my first child, my daughter, I took off a good four years because it was something new to me,” she says. “It was my first time, it was something I tried really hard to do…This time, when I have the baby, I’ll keep walking!”
As for the kinds of projects she plans to accept?
“I don’t think being a mother now should affect my choices as an artist,” she tells us. “There are a certain things I do that my kids should not see.”
That said, Berry looks forward to continue pursuing a range of rich and meaningful roles, spinning performances that her children can appreciate in due time.
“I don’t think being a mom now makes me only wanna do Disney movies and not do great R-rated films,” she notes. “Those are things they are gonna see in a proper time in life”

Halle is also due to film a supporting role (or it could be a cameo) in X-Men: Days of Future Past at some point in the coming months, so I guess she?s letting Bryan Singer know that this baby won?t affect that. Considering she still looks like she?s in her early 30s, I?m assuming she?ll be able to work in her standard ?beautiful woman? roles for several more years. And then maybe she?ll move on to meaty character work? Sure. Why not.

Taking a break from her promotional duties, Halle Berry grabbed a bite to eat on Wednesday (April 10) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Rocking a pair of black leather pants and a black blouse under a white blazer, the ?Monsters Ball? mom-to-be showed just a hint of a baby bump as she headed inside Antiquarius Restaurant.
Earlier in the day, the ?X-Men? actress attended a photocall for her upcoming film ?The Call,? much to the delight of her Brazilian fans.
Already in theaters in the United States, the motion picture follows a 911 operator who must deal with her past to help save a child?s life.

Showing some love to her Brazilian fans, Halle Berry showed up at a photocall for her new flick ?The Call? in Rio de Janeiro today (April 10).
The preggers ?X-Men? hottie seemed to be enjoying herself as she waved to fans and press outside the Copacabana Palace in a sleeveless black top and matching trousers.
On Tuesday (April 9) Halle took advantage of some retail therapy opportunities while out and about in Buenos Aires, Argentina, covering her baby bump beneath a baggy sweater.
Of her baby on the way, Berry gushed, ?I feel fantastic. This has been the biggest surprise of my life to tell you the truth. I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it?s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.?

As CB reported last Friday, Halle Berry is pregnant with her second child at the age of 46. The father is Halle?s French fianc of some-odd two years (it feels like longer, right?), Olivier Martinez, who last made headlines for beating the crap out of Gabriel Aubry last Thanksgiving. Following Friday?s announcement/confirmation, Halle stepped out in NYC over the weekend, making an appearance at a UN event with Michael Kors. It seems that Halle and Michael are working together on a new initiative for the United Nations World Food Program, which is why Halle has given a new interview to CNN:
Halle Berry is just as shocked as everyone else, apparently, about her big baby news. In her first interview since confirming her second pregnancy at age 46, the Oscar-winning actress told CNN’s Alina Cho, “I feel fantastic!”
The baby-to-be is her second child (joining big sister Nahla, 5), and her first with fiance Olivier Martinez. Berry confided in Cho that the pregnancy caught her unawares. “This has been the biggest surprise of my life, to tell you the truth. Thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me. So it’s been a big surprise and the most wonderful.”
Berry demurred when Cho asked if she’s expecting a boy, as sources have revealed to Us Weekly, TMZ and other outlets. “I don’t know, I don’t know. But [the baby is] healthy!”
At Berry’s side for the CNN chat with fashion designer and Project Runway judge Michael Kors, who both work with the United Nations World Food Program to fight hunger. (Berry was the guest of honor at the Four Seasons in NYC on Saturday for her work with the program.)
Berry explained that her pregnancy reminded her that many expectant women across the world struggle to feed themselves and their unborn children. “Especially now, being a pregnant woman and already having a child … it’s so important what happens to the baby while they’re in utero. And the first 1,000 days is fundamental,” said Berry, revealing her baby bump in sexy black dress by Kors. “Good nutrition during that time period is fundamental for your baby to develop properly and normally,” she added.
“I’m a mom, and that’s first and foremost, but it gives me another reason to exist, another purpose,” she said of her work with the charity. “And if I know that I’m helping one person every day in some way, that really makes me feel good, and that’s a legacy that I can leave to my children.”
The interview airs on CNN on Tuesday, April 8 at 12pm EST.

I?m including the video below ? I?m a little bit confused when Halle says that this pregnancy was a ?the biggest surprise?. Even Alina Cho threw some momentary shade with a quick ?Really?? So I guess this means that Halle didn?t undergo fertility treatments? Or is she just playing coy, like: ?I did the fertility treatments but I was totally surprised that they worked!?? I think Halle is really saying that this pregnancy happened naturally. I mean, it happens. It?s not outside of the realm of possibilities or probabilities. Hm… don?t mind me, I?ll just quietly sit here giving Halle a side-eye though.
(PS? Now I know why Halle?s boobs looked so amazing in Hawaii, right? Pregnancy boobs.)
