She's currently the May 2012 ELLE cover girl, and now Rihanna will be adding Harper's Bazaar to her impressive magazine frontwoman credentials.
The Barbadian beauty took to Malibu, CA this weekend (April 21) while getting all glammed up for her very first photo shoot for the popular fashion magazine.
Excitedly announcing the news on her official Twitter page, RiRi wrote, "I did my first #HB cover TODAY!!!!"
According to a source on the scene, the "We Found Love" songstress made a midday arrival while spending about an hour and a half getting her hair and make-up done while perched inside her eco-friendly 'Verde' trailer.
As for the photo shoot location, Rihanna and the Harper's crew were situated at a picturesque Malibu canyons ranch with the main house having been built from an old Boeing 747 jumbo jet.
Putting in the long hours to get things just right, the 24-year-old finally finished up her efforts around midnight before heading back home.

Taking a break from her busy day, Rihanna stopped at a private residence in Bel Air to visit a friend on Friday (April 20) before heading to the Dream Works office in Los Angeles.
Looking fresh-faced, the Barbadian beauty donned a cute, oxford shirt dress with a pair of oversized sneakers as she stepped out of her ride and greeted a loved one with arms open wide.
In personal news, the ?Umbrella? singer was spotted out in Malibu getting dinner with long-time friend, Melissa Forde, at Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi before heading out to the Roxbury nightclub in Hollywood.
"I'm on my first date in almost 2 yearz," the 24-year-old singer shared on Twitter. "#datenight my lover for the night @mforde11."
The two were rumored to be lovers in the past despite the fact that Rihanna?s dated Chris Brown and baseball player, Matt Kemp. They may have sparked rumors again as the two held hands as they left dinner.
The sexy-singer added a tweet later in the evening, "2night is gon' be a good one, I could feel it!"

Ri-Ri was in a great mood, due in part to being named one of Time magazine?s 100 Most Influential People in the World earlier in the day.

The ?Russian Roulette? songstress donned a ?PEACE? shirt and denim shorts as she took the stage to join Calvin Harris at the Indio, California Empire Polo Field.
