She?s been jetting all over the globe for her 777 Tour, and earlier today (November 20) Rihanna showed up in New York City.
After landing at the Newark, NJ airport, the ?Umbrella? babe was chauffeured to her Midtown Manhattan hotel where she was instantly mobbed by fans.
And it seems that the press corp that followed Ri-Ri on the tour began to complain about not getting to actually converse with her due to the hectic schedule.
An US Magazine source recorded Rihanna?s apology to her reporters upon landing in NYC- "Guess what, we made it! This has been an experience that I will never ever forget. I barely slept. My sleeping was all done on this plane. I want to thank everyone for making this trip the sh--. I want to see the naked Australian!"
"I was glad I did this. Absolutely. Tonight is the night everything we did this week goes off. I know you guys got barely any dirt. But I had to be good. I still sound like sh--. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again."
"I would do this next time with more people, more cities and sit back the the fans more. . . I had to preserve my health. Normally, I'd be back here popping bottles with y'all . . . I had to preserve my voice. I was worried about my body more than partying on the plane, so I had to just sleep whenever I could. I hope you guys had as much fun as I did."

Carrying on her 777 tour, Rihanna took the stage at Kentish Town Forum in London, England last night (November 19).
The ?We Found Love? songstress wore a matching white jacket and trousers with different hand sketches patterned all over the suit. Of course halfway through the gig, she stripped off her shirt to reveal a leopard print bra-looking garment.
And though she usually puts on a flawless show, Ri-Ri ran into some technical problems with her band during ?Where Have You Been.?
Furiously, she blurted out, ?Alright, what the f**k. Stop this sh*t. What the f**k is that? Why is the track off from the band? This is the bullsh*t we deal with when we are just doing a random rock and roll tour with no rehearsal and sh*t. I apologize for everyone [live streaming] at home? We are going to start this one again from the top.?

Here are some photos of Rihanna at the Schoenefeld airport in Berlin where she went through at security after her “secret gig” in Berlin that was part of her 777 Tour. The tour itself celebrates Rihanna’s seventh album, Unapologetic, and follows an rather expensively inventive gimmick where RiRi flies on a Delta 777 jet to seven countries in seven days. Also present on the jet are 250 members of her entourage plus assorted members of the press and even some fans. It sounds utterly exhausting, and here’s a take on the tour from Us Weekly’s press attendee who was on hand for the Berlin and London dates. Of course Rihanna sang “Take a Bow,” which is commonly believed to be a ballad that she wrote about Chris Brown, and of course Rihanna sounds like an utter mess who spends a lot of time drinking wine while the press and fans were forced to wait in unfavorable (to say the very least) conditions for many hours during this charade that will eventually be the basis of a pop-music documentary. There was also a naked streaking dude on hand too. Naturally!
After arriving in Berlin today, Rihanna was immediately whisked off to a hotel. For the rest of us, they had a large room in the concert venue set up with food and Wi-fi. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. and were stuck there, shoulder-to-shoulder, like prisoners, until Rihanna went onstage at 11:30. The menu? Rubbery turkey, greasy green beans, German pasta, and stacks of donuts. (Incidentally, the venue was a place called E-Werk, once a detention center during World War II.)
Rihanna stayed in her hotel room, drinking wine, getting a massage, and getting her hair and makeup done before the show. She arrived at the venue just 20 minutes before showtime and headed to her dressing room, where she drank some more wine and munched on German chips while fans awaited her appearance.
Finally, she came out in black sunglasses, a baggy white jacket — and la piece de resistance, a black mesh top with a bold white marijuana leaf emblazoned across the front. She paired it with a black bra and black thigh-high boots. Her hair was in a French braid-type style, and she wore black lipstick and chunky gold earrings. She then launched into her set of acoustic ballads. When she sang “Take a Bow,” a few fans shouted out, “Chris Brown!” That’s the first mention I’ve heard of him on the trip so far.
After the show, Rihanna retreated to her dressing room. She arrived at the airport at 3:45 a.m. in a green, red, and black fur-collared jacket, navy blue T-shirt, black leggings, and white Air Jordans. When she saw we were all going through security, she pulled her hood over her head, smiled at us, and waited in a corner with her bodyguards. She then had to go through security herself, even though she temporarily misplaced her boarding pass and was held up at customs.
I told her the show was great when she passed and she said, “Hi! Thank you!” One of the guys in her camera crew (the tour is being filmed for a documentary) played a joke on her by sitting in a wheelchair and filming her a la The Shining as she walked toward the plane. She noticed and started laughing and then walked over, grabbed the camera, and started filming him!
Once inside, she sat quietly in her seat. But chaos erupted right as the plane took off. It all started when a flight attendant ran back to adjust a door at the back of the plane. To my left, some folks decided to cause a ruckus by singing “What’s My Name” and singing “Rihanna” instead of “Hey Na Na.” The press in the entire press section started joining in and chanting “Rihanna” to try to get her to come out. (Many journalists on the plane have complained that the singer has yet to grant one-on-one interviews.) Then an Australian radio DJ who has been playing the harmonica on the trip stripped and ran around the plane naked as everyone went nuts.
Eventually, things settled down and people stopped chanting. Our plane landed in London at 5:46 a.m., at which point Rihanna was whisked to her room to sleep. The rest of us, including the band, arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m., after being up for over 25 hours.

Well, now we know why this tour is such a huge production with a camera crew — because this is Rihanna following in the steps of Madonna, the Jonas Brothers, Justin Bieber, and Katy Perry by filming her own concert documentary. I wonder who her Warren Beatty/Russell Brand will be in this movie? Probably Chris Brown. Yuck. But in all honestly, if Rihanna’s team has invited several journalists along for the ride on this mini-tour, the least they could do is have her do some interviews.

On her way to the next destination of her globetrotting tour, Rihanna showed up at Roissy Airport in Paris on Sunday (November 18).
Clad in skinny jeans, a denim jacket, and high tops, the ?Umbrella? diva strolled through the crowd and boarded her customized Boeing 777, which was all set to head to her Berlin performance.
The 24-year-old tweeted, ?4 down 3 more to go! E-Werks is the spot tonight Berlin.?
The seven-country whirlwind tour invited fans and media members to join, and it serves as a promotion for her upcoming album, Unapologetic, set to hit stores on November 19.

Fresh from her appearance at the 2012 GQ Men of the Year Party last night, Rihanna dropped by ?The Ellen DeGeneres Show? for a candid interview.
And while she?s usually pretty reserved about her private life, the ?Umbrella? songstress was open about her current romantic status- ?No [I?m not currently dating anyone].?
However, that doesn?t mean that Ri-Ri isn?t eyeing a transition into motherhood in the future- ?Yes, eventually. I mean absolutely. I would prefer to you know have a full family. I?m pretty sure I could handle if I had to on my own but that?s not what I?m striving for.?
Rihanna added that her perfect date night would be pretty low-key- ?My favorite thing to do would just be to stay on the couch and watch TV or in the bed and watch TV.?

Here are some photos from last night?s GQ Men of the Year event. Last year, Michael Fassbender was honored as GQ?s Breakout of the Year and I was, like, counting down the days until I could see new Fassy photos. So compared to last year, my enthusiasm for this year?s GQ photo batch has definitely waned. As we discussed yesterday, GQ named Channing Tatum their ?Movie Star of the Year? (Channing didn?t show), Ben Affleck was their ?Filmmaker of the Year? (he came) and Rihanna is the ?[Pantsless] Obsession of the Year?. Here?s Rihanna at the event ? she wore a Calvin Klein minidress. I kind of like it ? it?s simple and pretty. Rihanna?s hair looks different to me ? are those extensions or did she grow it out and I didn?t notice?
Here?s The ?Fleck, acting like he?s The Boss now. Like Ben thinks he?s George Clooney? You know CB is more of an Affleck fan-girl, but even she is waiting for him to self-sabotage, I think.
I guess Jenna Dewan was there representing her husband. She wore Amanda Wakeley ? it?s okay. Not great.
Jennie Garth, also in red. I don?t know, y?all. I think she?s been looking like hell since she and Peter split up.
Dear Julianne Hough: Stop trying to happen!! You do look good in this Temperley suit, though. Ugh! I hate myself.
And finally, Diane Kruger in a Cushnie et Ochs dress and a Vanessa Bruno jacket. Dislike cut-out dresses in general, but Diane makes everything look like Chanel. She just makes everything look like expensive couture. It?s a gift.

I know I’ve ragged on Rihanna‘s new tattoo a lot, but the more I see it, the more it’s starting to grow on me. Probably because it means I’m also seeing Rihanna topless. It’s all about positive associations. Anyway, GQ somehow managed to get Rihanna pretty much naked for this photoshoot, and it’s really helping

She definitely knows how to make an entrance, and Rihanna had all eyes on her as she arrived at the 2012 GQ Men of the Year Party in Los Angeles last night (November 13).
The ?We Found Love? songstress looked fabulous in a red Calvin Klein dress teamed with Manolo Blahnik shoes as she strolled inside the Chateau Marmont.
Ri-Ri was one of the distinguished celebrities to score her very own cover of the December 2012 issue of GQ magazine.
