Can it get any better than Rihanna walking around town in a see through top on a chilly day? I don’t think so. Here she is in New York in her weird yet somehow sexy bandage top, blanket sweater and silly looking old school basketball sneakers. Clearly I know nothing about fashion, I wear boxer

Wearing another one of her daring fashion choices, Rihanna was spotted out in New York City on Monday (June 11) wearing a little less clothing than others on the busy sidewalks.
Leaving little to the imagination, the ?Talk That Talk? songstress sported a two piece lace outfit, cardigan and sneakers, but keeping the cardigan in place didn?t seem to be RiRi?s main goal. As the Barbadian beauty flashed a smile for the shutterbugs, she also flashed them a little more than they were expecting.
In other news, the pop superstar recently took to her Twitter page to defend a recent accusation made by the UK Sun about her Armani ads that were released earlier this year.
According to the newspaper, the 24-year-old singer used Irish model Jahnassa Aicken in portions of her ads and was apparently banned from speaking about the body double.
However, in true Rihanna fashion, she wasted no time getting out her side of the story. The sexy brunette took to her Twitter page writing, ?Ok @thesunnewspaper , this is the only way I could say this to you!!! F**K YOU....AND yo baggy a** condom,? later adding, ?Who is Jahnassa,? and, ?Does she have a tat on her hand too??

| | Rihanna goes off on Esquire UK journo who grills her about Chris Brown: justified? | | Added 13 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Last week, we reported on Rihanna’s new cover for the July issue of Esquire as well as some scant interview excerpts where she said some ridiculous stuff about how she’s learned to ignore all the attention that comes with (I guess) posting one’s entire life to Twitter and Facebook. Now the full interview has hit newsstands, and it’s a relative doozy.
To recap, Esquire’s developing quite a reputation for writing really rude and bitchy profiles about their cover celebrities. Most recently, Tom Chiarella focused unnecessarily upon Bruce Willis’ bathroom and pear-eating habits. He’s also the same journo who stomped all over Matthew McConaughey?s weekend hospitality tour last year. Then there’s Lisa Taddeo, who attempted to foist her ex-boyfriend’s characteristics onto Bradley Cooper. Essentially, there’s been a fair amount of unprofessionalism and an apparent lack of preparation involved in a lot of these interviews, and it seems that Esquire’s newfound habits have spread across the pond as well.
Now Esquire UK’s Johnny Davis has tried to pull a fast one on Rihanna by grilling her about Chris Brown. At first, I can understand the point he’s trying to make, but he really gets carried away here, and it’s easy to see why Rihanna would get angry at being repeatedly cornered during the interview. Here’s the relevant text, which goes on at length, but I’m including so much of it to illustrate just how far this journo goes:
Esquire: “What has been the Twitter response to the Chris Brown remixes?”
Rihanna: “Some love it, some hate it, some love it but still hate that we did it. But the response in the end has been incredible.”
Esquire: “Was that [the recording session] the first time you?d seen him in a while?”
Rihanna: “When would we have seen each other? We?ve both been working and touring. [changes the subject]. This is really good food.”
Esquire: “It proved quite a controversial thing.”
Rihanna: “Well…definitely. Definitely. The whole thing caught me a little off-guard to be honest… especially the amount of… negative attention. Because it never occurred to me how this was going to be a problem, you know. It really didn?t.”
Esquire: “Because enough time had passed that it was OK?”
Rihanna: “I thought people were gonna be surprised that we finally did a record together, but I didn?t see how people could think it was a bad thing, you know? In my mind, it was just music.”
Esquire: “Some people felt it sent the wrong message.”
Rihanna: [Angrily] “What was that? What message would that be?”
Esquire: “You?d gone back to someone who put you in the hospital.”
Rihanna: [Getting angry] “Oh really? Did I?”
Esquire: “Well… yes.”
Rihanna: “Did I? Did I? Did I?”
Esquire: “You went and recorded with him, yes.”
Rihanna: “Okay. In a completely professional environment. And on a complete professional note. I mean, if I went back to him [as a girlfriend], then that?s a whole different discussion. And if I ever do, then that?s something that y?all have to talk to me about when – if – that ever happens. Until then, look at it for what it is. I think a lot of people jumped to an assumption that was incorrect and they ended up looking stupid.”
Esquire: “The assumption you were dating again?”
Rihanna: “Because of a song. How stupid. If I was together with every collaborator I worked with… f-ck my life.”
Esquire: “Still, the lyrics didn?t do much to dispel that impression. His opening line is ‘Girl I want to f–k you right now/been a long time/I?ve been missing your body.’ You reply: ‘Remember how you did it/If you still want to kiss it/Then come and get it.’”
Rihanna: “That was the tone before he was even on the record. You think it was going to be about hopscotch or jump rope?”
Esquire: “So neither of you for a minute thought ‘This is going to put the cat among the pigeons’?”
Rihanna: “I could never see anything wrong with making music.”
Esquire: “Maybe the thing is that as an artist your personal and private life are intertwined, and you’ve already played on this. The first song you put out after the beating incident was ‘Love the Way You Lie,’ about domestic violence.”
Rihanna: “Absolutely. But ‘Love The Way You Lie’ was me as an artist working with Eminem as an artist, telling our stories individually. On a track together. I’m lost. I?m confused as to what you?re trying to get at.”
Esquire: “That it?s hard to separate the person who?s been the victim of domestic violence and the pop star singing about domestic violence.”
Rihanna: “I know. And that?s how f-cked up society is. There?s a lot of s–t y’all can?t get over. Y’all holding your breath on a lot of stuff that doesn?t matter. When you realize who you live for, and who?s important to please, a lot of people will actually start living. I am never going to get caught up in that. I?m gonna look back on my life and say that I enjoyed it – and I lived it for me – and God. This is turning into a tacky interview. What do you really want to talk about? I?m not here to [talk] about messy s–t.”
Esquire: “It?s just what?s been making the headlines recently.”
Rihanna: “OK! So do you want to talk about everything on Google? Or do you want to talk about stuff that my fans want to know? Let’s get to the real stuff. The stuff that’s important.”
Esquire: “What do your fans want to know?”
Rihanna: “You tell me, as a journalist. You’re asking the questions and I give you the answers. I can’t give the questions too.”
Esquire: “I?m sorry it?s upset you.”
Rihanna: “It hasn’t upset me. It upsets me that you keep asking the same kind of questions about stuff that?s trivial. What’s there to talk about? Are all your questions like that? Let’s move onto the next one.”
Esquire: “It?s just that you haven?t given an interview for a while. A lot has happened.”
Rihanna: “You think I haven’t given an interview for a while? I did four this morning.”
Esquire: “Did they go any better than this?”
Rihanna: “We’ll see [when they come out] tomorrow.”
[From Esquire UK]
Look, I know that Rihanna is a bit of a brat most of the time, and this fact is evident by those who haven’t even heard any of her music but have merely glimpsed her Twitter stream. I also think it was a very stupid move for her to record music with Chris Brown — not only because Rihanna was placing herself that much closer to actually getting back with him (relationshipwise) but also because it sends a very bad message to her young (and not-so-young), impressionable fans. However, this journalist didn’t know how to stop asking the same questions when Rihanna had already made it very clear that she wouldn’t discuss them any further.
It’s like Esquire and Esquire UK have been instructing their journos to deliberately irritate the living hell out of most of the celebrities that they profile over the past few years, and the final interviews have often been so twisted that the journos end up looking like douches themselves. Obviously, critical journalism has its place, but Esquire’s interview method of late has been rather counterproductive.
Incidentally, here’s Rihanna on the set of the new Seth Rogen movie, The End of the World, which also features Paul Rudd, James Franco, and Emma Watson. Rihanna plays herself in the movie, so there’s no danger of her showing off her (nonexistent?) acting skills.

Taking care of her caffeine fix, Rihanna was spotted picking up some coffee in Santa Monica, California last night (June 4).
The ?Russian Roulette? songstress didn?t seem to notice the late hour as she set out for her java beverage, showing off her legs in a pair of short shorts.

Enjoying the fine spring weather on the east coast, Rihanna was spotted making her way around New York City on Saturday (June 3).
The Barbadian beauty was decked out in denim as she strolled around town while prepping for an overseas trip to London, of which she tweeted, "Moving to London in 2 days!!!!!!"
The outing comes just as Rihanna's collaborative video with Coldplay for "Princess of China" hit the web - with the debut coming ahead of its scheduled release on Monday, June 4th.
Talking about how much he loves Rihanna's work on their album Mylo Xyloto, the band's frontman Chris Martin told MTV, "Her bit on our record is my favorite bit. When the song came out, it sort of asked for her to be on it. And I think at this point, we have nothing to lose, and so we've been trying some new things and trying to break down the perceived boundaries between different types of music."

Another day, another set of semi-topless photos posed for by Rihanna while she claims she doesn’t like all the attention her “controversial” image garners. Never mind that the chick is endlessly tweeting photos of herself rolling blunts and posing in bikinis and making racist jokes about Chris Brown’s Asian girlfriend. But sure, Rihanna doesn’t need or want the attention at all.
With that said, Rihanna covers the July issue of Esquire UK, and the photo shoot features the singer in various topless and cheesecake type shots with a crochet bra. There’s also this photo of Rihanna showing off her half-crack in a cutout bikini bottom. A lot of you thought Rihanna’s butt was airbrushed in candid shots of her Hawaiian vacation, but I didn’t think so at the time. This photo, however, definitely contains an airbrushed butt:
On fame: “The attention is something I?ve learned to ignore. This is what I do. I live my life and they document it. A lot of things I don’t care for people to know, but it just is. That?s what it?s become.”
On recording with Chris Brown: “I thought people were gonna be surprised that we finally did a record together, but I didn’t see how people could think it was a bad thing, you know? In my mind, it was just music.”
Five years from now: “Hopefully I’ll have a man by then. I’ve gotta start there, right? But how far I go [with my career] is God?s plan. I’m just following through my destiny. I don’t think it ever ends. It just evolves.”
[From Esquire UK]
C’mon, Rihanna totally knew that people would take issue with her recording music with her abuser. She loves playing with fire in more ways than one, you know? What irritates me more is Rihanna’s seeming lack of awareness about fame and how all this undesired attention just comes her way without any action on her part. She’s really seems to think she’s just all about the music. Sorta like Katy Perry.
As for this Esquire spread, it’s just the same old, pseudo-risque stuff we’ve come to espect from Rihanna.

Rihanna just can’t help herself when it comes to posting risque photos of herself on the internet. Seriously, the girl and her #thuglife are all over Twitter again, and this time she has posted some pseudo-topless photos (no nips or anything), which are actually behind-the-scenes, semi-candid photos of herself on the social networking site. She was super excited and tweeted, “I got a big shoot tomorrow for a surprise fragrance for my ladies called…NUDE!” Of course, going topless is the precise opposite sentiment of what Rihanna said not too long ago in an MTV interview about never wanting to take off her clothes for the camera:
Rihanna, one of the raunchiest, controversial and wildest ladies in the music industry, has said something that shocked us even more than when she collaborated with her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown! The 24-year-old spoke to Mondanite Magazine and began discussing photo shoots…
Although the singer has posed virtually naked previously and has been seen in some very revealing outfits of recent, when asked if she would ever strip off for a magazine shoot, she said: “My mother would kill me if I posed nude! My mother raised me with certain standards.”
The Bajan star also explained her love for revealing outfits: “The more I got naked, the more comfortable I felt. I just have to face my fear. You always find something wrong; you always find something you’re uncomfortable with. One thing turns into another and you get embarrassed and self-conscious about it – you feel like everybody can see what you see.”
[From MTV]
Okay, so most of us probably didn’t believe Rihanna when she said this stuff because she’s basically always close to naked in her videos and even on the street. This photo montage from her Twitter is basically soft pr0n style.
Here’s Rihanna making pancakes with her pistol-shaped cookie cutter with the following caption: “My new #thuglife cooking gadget.”

Most of this year has been full of continuing drama from Rihanna and Chris Brown. At first, it really seemed like Chris and Rihanna were either back together, or Chris was seeing Rihanna at the same time as he was dating his ?official? girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Rihanna and Chris collaborated on two songs, they were tweeting each other and hanging out together, they were probably hooking up a lot too. Rihanna was even tweet-taunting Karrueche (allegedly). And then something happened – Chris wrote a not-so-veiled song about Rihanna and how she?s a big ol? slut (that?s Chris saying that, not me) and Rihanna un-followed Chris on Twitter and he un-followed her too. Since then, it seems like Chris and Rihanna might actually be done with each other, at long f–king last. So what really went down? An insider went to Hollywood Life with the insider drama:
As we suspected and an insider now confirms, Chris Brown was happy to have a love triangle, enjoying both Karrueche Tran and Rihanna. Then, even though he had begged RiRi to take him back, he refused to call it off with Karrueche!
Chris Brown loves his ladies?and he wasn?t about to choose between Rihanna and his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. In fact, an insider close to Rihanna tells HollywoodLife.com the 23-year-old rapper and singer wanted to continue seeing both women, which was something Rihanna refused to let happen.
?Chris was not willing to end his relationship with Karrueche, even though he made Rihanna believe that he was still madly in love with her,? the source says. ?Chris is the one who initially reached out to Rihanna begging for her forgiveness. He was incredibly sweet to Rihanna at the beginning, telling her how much he missed her, how Karrueche could not even compare to her, how he wanted to make things work.?
In fact, his tactics were beginning to work. Despite the fact that he assaulted her two years ago, Rihanna started collaborating with Chris again ? even coming out with a remix to her song ?Birthday Cake? and seeing each other out at clubs. However, all of their steps forward came to a screeching halt.
?Rihanna would have gone back to Chris, but once she realized that he still had so many anger issues and that he was never planning on leaving Karrueche, she pulled the plug on the relationship,? our insider explains. ?Chris basically wanted to have his cake and eat it too.?
After her realization, Rihanna decided to take action?and Chris was not a happy camper.
?When Rihanna finally told him that she was going to start seeing other people if he wouldn?t commit, Chris freaked out and started acting out,? the source says. ?His ego just took over and he basically told Rihanna that she was a slut. And then he released that song about Rihanna sleeping around.?
Adds the insider, ?Chris tweeted it wasn?t about her, but she knew it was a stab in the back from him. He still has so many control issues.?
And don?t expect to see any more passive aggressive tweets flying back and forth between the hot and heavy pair. Things are officially over.
?Rihanna was willing to give him a second chance, but not anymore,? her friend says. ?She is sick of the broken promises. She has moved on once and for all. She realized that she can?t even be casual friends with him, at least not for a very long time!?
[From Hollywood Life]
?Rihanna would have gone back to Chris, but once she realized that he still had so many anger issues and that he was never planning on leaving Karrueche, she pulled the plug on the relationship? Chris basically wanted to have his cake and eat it too.? It makes me sick to say this, but I totally believe all of it. I believe that Rihanna was seriously considering getting back with Chris and I believe that a large part of the reason she didn?t was because Chris wouldn?t end things with Karrueche. Because – for whatever reason – THAT was what bugged Rihanna. Not the fact that Chris is a violent predator who beat the hell out of her and left her dead. It?s because he wouldn?t make a monogamous commitment to her. Ugh. But whatever I think of Rihanna (she?s an idiot with issues), Chris will always step up the plate and make everybody else look positively angelic by comparison.

It?s always a treat when she takes the stage, and last night (May 23) Rihanna brought her A-game to the ?American Idol? finale.
The ?Take a Bow? songstress was all about showing off her fabulous form in an Adam Selman belly-bearing top and sexy skirt as she worked the crowd into a frenzy.
Always a fan of changing up her coif, Ri-Ri was sporting her new dreaded hairdo as well, giving her look the island vibe.
When asked via Twitter what made her choose the hairstyle, Rihanna tweeted, ?they?re HOT!... since I was 14 but mama Fent?z wasn?t havin it! Hehe!?
