Jet setting out of La La land on a trip to Lonodn, Rihanna was seen catching a flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA on Friday (May 18).
The ?Talk That Talk? songstress kept it casual in skinny jeans, a zip up hoodie and Jordan tennis shoes as she made her way through the Tinseltown terminal en route to her outbound aircraft.
Once arriving, the Barbadian beauty made a stop at one of her favorite restaurants in the area that gives her a little taste of her hometown.
Taking to her Twitter page to post a picture of the ?Ochi Caribbean? take away restaurant, RiRi left a caption reading, ? #London in da hood at my fav spot.?
In career news, we know the Grammy award-winning singer can handle the music business, but it sounds as if acting came as more of a ?challenge.?
In a recent interview with MTV News, Rihanna dished about her acting debut in ?Battleship,? saying, ?For me, acting was a whole different world. We make mini-movies with music videos, but there's always a song track that's playing, you don't have to speak, so [with acting] you have to tell that emotion with the tone of your voice, and I have an accent, so I had to change it to a bit of an American accent for this movie, so that was different.?
Now that the 24 year-old has some experience in the artistic medium, will she return for another go around? "There's nothing you can have under your belt with acting, not in my opinion, because I'm not a natural. This isn't my first [career choice], so I don't know. I think it's always going to be a challenge for me, but I like that."

There are plenty of ways to ruin a good topless shot other than just covering up your tits. You could wear a stupid-looking fez, for instance. You could make sure the pic was low-res and grainy. You could hide the photo in a gay men’s magazine between an article about summer-weight cashmere and the best place to get a mani-pedi in Mykonos. Lucky for us, Rihanna already covered all her bases.

Kaiser’s already covered these photos of Rihanna at the Battleship premiere, but I pulled out some more from the set because of how physically drained Rihanna looks at this event. Sure, her body looks great, but her eyes tell a different story. This premiere took place just a few days after the Met Gala where she wore that fantastic Tom Ford dress and then proceeded to allegedly land herself in the emergency room after partying hard and tweeting that freaky photo of an IV in her arm. This week’s issue of the Enquirer builds upon the events of the past few weeks and also refers to Rihanna’s blunt-filled, alcohol-laden Hawaiian vacation from this past holiday season. The tabloid has also talked to a couple of medical “experts” who have not treated Rihanna for their take on her downward spiral:
Rihanna is in a desperate life-or-death battle with liver damage caused by years of boozing and out-of-control partying, sources tell The Enquirer exclusively.
The 24-year-old Grammy winner was hospitalized after an early May bender, and her reckless behavior, couple with her grueling work schedule, has friends and experts warning that she’s on a fast track to becoming the next Whtiney Houston.
“Rihanna is spiraling out of control and is headed for an early grave,” said one concerned insider. “It never seems to be one beer or one cocktail. Once she gets started, Rihanna pounds drinks all night long, sometimes until the sun comes up. She definitely goes on binges. She’s been a hard drinker since her teens and her friends and family are desperately urging her to get into rehab.”
Medical experts say the sexy singer’s drinking habits could be deadly. “Rihanna could be dead tomorrow from liver failure,” Orlando-based, board-certified physicial Dr. Gabe Mirkin told The Enquirer. He noted: “Anybody who drinks alcohol for more than two hours a day, even if it is binge drinking once a week, is looking a premature death. Once the liver is permanently damaged, it’s over.”
Dr. Robert Waldman, consultant to the Cliffside Malibu treatment center and a 25-year veteran of addiction medicine, agreed. “The earlier you start to drink, the more the body becomes dependent on alcohol. It can cause deadly cirrhosis of the liver and alcohol poisoning — even at her age.”
Rihanna’s world came crashing down earlier this month. She missed an “SNL” final dress rehearsal and needed a shot of penicillin to make it htrough her May 5 performance. And on May 8, she tweeted a picture of her arm hooked up to an intravenous drop, claiming she was suffering from a nasty bout of the flu, a day after attending the Costume Institute Gala in New York. She was reportedly hospitalized for exhaustion and dehydration.
Ratcheting up her stress, she’s coming off a grueling tour last year, and she’s been flying all over the world to promote her film Battleship. Rihanna recoverd from her frightening hospitalization to make it to the May 10 L.A. premiere, but then she alarmed onlookers by skipping dinner, opting to chew gum and drink a lime cocktail instead. Two days later, she was seen partying until 4 a.m. in a New York nightclub.
Sadly, the entertainer, whose father is a former crack addict, appears to be continuing her nonstop pace — blazing a round-the-world party trail since shse started the year knocking back beers and smoking pot during a Hawaiian vacation.

Questionable medical ethics (on the part of those two physicians) aside, I agree that Rihanna needs to slow down in several regards. She needs to take it easy professionally and whittle down her schedule a bit, and she needs to stop boozing so hard. Perhaps she truly seeks to ease the pain associated from her past (?) relationship with Chris Brown, but hardcore drinking is (obviously) not the way to accomplish any long-term healing. As Kaiser also mentioned recently, Rihanna strongly identifies as a Pisces, and (speaking as one myself) that astrological sign tends to have their head in the clouds if left unchecked. It’s probably safe to say that Rihanna really has been drowning her stress and sorrows in too much liquor, and I would suspect that a visit to rehab is in the cards.
Just for the hell of it, here’s a photo from Rihanna’s twitter that she took of herself and her father. If he’s really a former crack addict, then addiction might very well run in the family.

Having made her way back on the west coast, Rihanna wasted no time in hitting up her favorite restaurant, Giorgio Baldi, in Santa Monica on Wednesday night (May 15).
The Barbadian beauty sported a cute visor with a button down striped blouse and flare trousers while tweeting of the evening meal, "On a dinner date with my side piece @cappadonna"
RiRi's night on the town comes just as she was named as landing an impressive four Award-winning Songs at the 60th annual BMI Pop Awards - with the honored tracks including "What's My Name?", "S&M", "Rude Boy" and "Only Girl [In the World]".
The 24-year-old is also fresh off of a stay in NYC, which was capped off on Monday night (May 14) with a performance at the 22nd Annual Robin Hood Foundation Benefit.
The Javits Center held gig helped to raise funds for the charitable organization, which has a goal of eliminating poverty in the Big Apple.

For reasons yet unknown or that I’m too lazy to search for, Rihanna walked out of her New York hotel in a bathrobe dressed as Cleopatra. Alright, so I wanted to know why and apparently she performed Where Have You Beenat the Robin Hood Foundation gala in NYC dressed as Cleopatra. That’s cool, I guess. You know what would have been cooler? A bear on a unicycle. I’m just sayin’.

Kicking off the week with some Big Apple fun, Rihanna was spotted out and about in New York City last night (May 14).
The ?Take A Bow? songstress left her luxury hotel and headed off to a party, stopping to buy a rose along the way.
Earlier in the evening, Ri-Ri gave a fabulous live performance at the Robin Hood Foundation Benefit at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center.
Despite her recent heath scare, Rihanna sounded fabulous as she sang hits like ?Only Girl (In the World), ?Run This Town,? and ?Live Your Life.?

Observing the holiday that gives thanks to the women who raised us, Rihanna treated her mom, Monica Braithwaite, to a delectable Mother's Day dinner on the town in New York City on Sunday evening (May 13).
Fresh off of a trip to the tattoo parlor, the 24-year-old donned a navy and white tummy-revealing ensemble while picking up a pretty bouquet of Pink flowers to dote unto her mother during the course of their time together.
Earlier in the day, Rihanna was her usual busy self on Twitter while sending out a string of well-wishing messages to the moms, single dads and those who are without their moms.
First posting a tweet just for her mom, the "We Found Love" hitmaker wrote, "#Mama....u my ride or die b***h for life!!! And yes I know a b***h slap is on the way for my language! But u get it!!!!! I love you"
Shooting out the more general words to follow, RiRi exclaimed, "Happy mother's day to all superwomen out thurr! Every day is your day. And a happy mother's day to all the dads doin it alone #1LOVE"
She then capped of the warm sentiments with, "Sending out special love to those who lost their mothers! *HUGS*"
Meanwhile, Rihanna previously spoke with ELLE about her retired accountant mom's reliable nature, saying, ?I still don?t know how she did it. She always protected us?she would never let us know when we had problems, even financially. I still got to go and get a perm every four weeks."

Rihanna showed up at the Battleshippremiere in a, um, white gown where she did the Angelina Jolie leg thing. She looked alright, I suppose. I’m not really a great judge of fashion. My idea of fancy is wearing pants.
