I don?t really like to get into just how much pot I used to smoke back in the day because my mother occasionally reads this site. But let?s just say this – in my late teens, I had a regular dealer, and I considered him a personal friend. Let?s just say that I was working through some things for a few years. Let?s just say that gravity bongs are either incredibly awesome, of a tool of the devil.
With that in mind, here?s 23-year-old Rihanna getting high as a motherf—er in Hawaii over the past few days. She?s been photographed on two separate occasions smoking sizeable blunts. She?s been tweeting about getting high too – go here to read her Twitter, which is full of some musings that I don?t feel comfortable repeating.
On one hand, I do feel like ?Leave Rihanna Alooooone!? She?s obviously on vacation, and she?s never lied about her love of getting hammered and/or high. I don?t think she parties any harder than liquor and weed, and I think many 23-year-olds have these kinds of private parties.
On the other hand? Rihanna is a role model to young girls, for better or for worse. It doesn?t matter if she puts herself out there as a role model, she influences young women regardless. What does it say to those younger people when Rihanna is smoking a blunt on a (public?) beach in Hawaii? Moms out there – does this offend you? For me – I just think it looks like a really amazing vacation. I wish I was smoking a blunt on a beautiful Hawaiian beach right now.

Yesterday was Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and in honor of his dream and the entire Civil Rights movement, I did not work. Instead I laid around in a chair all day smoking blunts, which is exactly what Rihanna did, and she’s black. And speaking of marijuana and the Civil Rights movement, I’d like to add that now that we’re “all sitting down together at the table of brotherhood,” I call dibs on the seat next to Rihanna. Puff puff, give, sister!

The ?We Found Love? songstress found a suspicious-looking cigarette that seemed to help her chill out after doing a rigorous workout.
Ri-Ri smoked her joint and text messaged on her mobile phone while a sneaky shutterbug caught the whole scene on film.
Lending legitimacy to the notion that she was smoking marijuana, Rihanna tweeted, ?Kush rolled, glass full... I prefer the better things!?

Capping off an exciting weekend with a little sporting action, Rihanna was spotted courtside at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday night (January 8).
The Barbadian beauty and a few gal pals sipped on brews while cheering on the hometown team, who claimed a 90-82 victory over the visiting Memphis Grizzlies thanks to Kobe Bryant's game high 26 points.
The Lakers night out comes after RiRi was gifted with quite the present from her record label, Roc Nation, as she's now the proud owner of a black Jeep Wrangler.
Tweeting a photo of the new ride, the 23-year-old added a message reading, "Foot out dat b**ch, ride dat shit like a skateboard!!! Thank u to my G'z at RocNation baby!"
She also shot out a tweet to RocNation founder Jay-Z and wife Beyonce's newborn baby Blue Ivy, as she wrote, "Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih"

Having made her way back to California after spending the holidays in Barbados and Florida, Rihanna was spotted making her way around West Hollywood, CA on Thursday night (January 5).
The 23-year-old "We Found Love" singer rocked a navy and grey sweater with yellow sleeves paired with dark jeans as she ended up dropping by a local tattoo parlor to reportedly add another ink job to her continuously growing collection of body art.
On the career front, RiRi continues to hold court as one of the most popular acts around, as she was just named as the best-selling artist online.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, the Barbadian beauty's sales totaled more than 47.5 million at the end of 2011 - which edged out second place finisher, The Black Eyed Peas (42.4 million).
With Eminem garnering the third slot (42.2 million) and Lady Gaga fourth (42 million), the top ten was rounded out in respective order by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lil Wayne, Beyonce, Kanye West and Britney Spears.

Fresh off a relaxing holiday back home in Barbados, Rihanna has made the short trip to Miami, Florida to ring in 2012.
The 23-year-old "We Found Love" singer was casually dressed to beat the sunshine state heat as she was surrounded by adoring fans upon exiting the Soirage Hotel on Saturday afternoon (December 31).
As for her New Year's resolutions, RiRi tweeted that they remain the same as the past few years, as she wrote, "Same as the last 5yrs, lose weight, get a man, make mo $$! My resolution should be to find a new one tbh!"
Meanwhile, 2011 was certainly a success for Rihanna, as she had a long list of accomplishments including leading the United World Chart Singles Chart Total with 22 million points this year while also becoming the youngest and fastest solo artist to achieve 10 (or 11) #1?s on the Hot 100.
