Making its highly-anticipated debut after four long years of back-and-forth, co-stars Julia Roberts and Hayden Panettiere stepped out for the Los Angeles premiere of their film "Fireflies in the Garden" last night (October 12).
Held at The Grove, the pair of Tinseltown stunners turned heads on the red carpet, with the "Notting Hill" star wearing a chic all black ensemble and the "Bring It On" beauty donning a sparkling olive-colored mini dress and crocodile print peep-toe pumps.
Elated to finally be showcasing the drama piece after nonstop roadblocks in production, Julia told press,"As frustrating and agonizing and confusing as the years have been I feel it has all been worth the effort."
Making its way into theaters this Friday (October 14), the film tells a "semi-autobiographical story centering on the complexities of love and commitment in a family torn apart when faced by an unexpected tragedy."

Hayden Panettiere hasn’t starred in anything of note since Heroes ended. Scream 4 was probably her biggest movie so far and she was barely in it. She did gain a little notoriety for dating heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko though but she broke up with him so that’s over.
Hopefully Hayden’s star will rise again when casting agents see her new spread in Interview magazine where she shows off her versatility as an actress. See? She can be slutty AND modest at the same time. Someone give this girl a job. Or a sex tape. I’m fine with either.

Making her arrival in Toronto, Canada, Hayden Panettiere was spotted at Pearson International Airport yesterday afternoon (August 25).
The ?I Love You Beth Cooper? actress looked a bit lost as she asked several people for directions to get to her chauffeured car. She?s in town for the 2011 Fan Expo Canada Convention.
In a recent interview, Hayden explained her passion for protecting whales and dolphins as a spokeswoman for the Whaleman Foundation.
"I'm an activist who's aware of what's realistic to achieve and what's not. I wouldn't waste my time going straight for the jugular -- I'm not going to preach to people to not eat meat. The Whaleman Foundation's goals are achievable, and they make sense."
She continued, "We knew we were up against a huge obstacle in Taiji. In the course of the slaughter, I saw a species in need. The trip inspired me to continue the fight."

Hitting the water for a fun-filled photo shoot, Hayden Panettiere is featured in the September 2011 issue of Cond Nast Traveler.
Set to hit newsstands on August 23rd, the former "Heroes" hottie grabbed a perch atop a boat's rail while cruising alongside a pack of dolphins for the magazine's Visionaries offering.
As for being selected to appear in the publication, Miss Panettiere is well known for her effort to save the world?s endangered whales and dolphins.
Joining Hayden in the Cond Nast Traveler feature are fellow do-good celebs including "Rene Zellweger and British talk-show host Mariella Frostrup, who fight poverty by empowering women across Africa; musician Harry Connick, Jr., who after Hurricane Katrina built the New Orleans Habitat Musicians? In news that I should feel guilty about quietly rejoicing over, Hayden Panettiere and her hulk of a man, world heavyweight boxing champion Wladimir Klitschko, have broken up. Hayden, 21, and Klitschko, 35, both issued statements about each other that were so gracious that I felt momentarily sorry for them. Then I realized that Hayden grates my last nerve and that I find Klitschko dreamy. Maybe he’ll go for someone closer to his age next time instead of messing with young starlets. These two have been together about two years and the last we heard from Hayden she was bringing up their sex life in a TV interview.
After two years of dating, Hayden Panettiere and Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion Wladmir Klitschko are calling it quits, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.
“Even though we’ve decided splitting up is best for both of us, we have an amazing amount of love and respect for each other and remain very close friends,” says the Scream 4 actress, 21.
Klitschko, 35, the reigning IBF, IBO and WBO heavyweight world champion, cites the physical distance as a stumbling block for the couple.
“We had a great time together, but it’s not that easy to manage a relationship between two continents,” he says. “I have a lot of respect for Hayden as a person and as a friend, and I believe we’ll keep our friendship even after the separation.”
The two most recently appeared together at the Tribeca Film Festival for the premiere of the documentary Klitschko, about Wladmir and his brother Vitali’s boxing careers.

I’m just surprised they lasted as long as they did. They may have broken up briefly around this time last year, only to reunite again. So was it Hayden or Wladimir that did the dumping? I’m thinking she wanted more of a commitment and he wasn’t ready. Still, she’s young. She’ll rebound with the next much older guy soon enough.
