Bringing an end to a week of fashion, Gwen Stefani showed off her latest designs at The Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City on Thursday evening (September 16).
With both of her sons along for the outing, the No Doubt frontwoman walked the runway at the L.A.M.B. Spring 2011 fashion show - bringing Kingston onstage for the grand finale.
Talking about the semi-annual NYFW festivities, Gwen said, "I love doing a fashion show. It's more dramatic, more theatrical. ... It's great."
Using her experience as a musical performer to help subside any nerves, Miss Stefani tells, "With fashion, I'm now asking if I can play in your house, even though I didn't grow up in your neighborhood."
And once the catwalk display draws to an end, the 40-year-old tries not to get too sentimental, saying, "I try not to cry. It's not that I'm so happy or so sad, I think it's just the natural release."

Stepping out for a night on the town, Gwen Stefani was front and center at the Sephora celebration of Fashion's Night Out in New York City on Friday (September 10).
There for her Harajuku fragrance, the No Doubt singer turned up in quite the colorful frock as she mingled and posed for pictures at the Sephora SoHo boutique.
Also turning up at the Fifth Avenue locale were Josie Maran and Kat Von D, as both ladies took time to greet fans and sign autographs.
As for Gwen, she's expected to be out on Saturday at Flushing Meadows, where she'll be cheering on tennis pal Roger Federer in his semifinal matchup against Novak Djokovic.

Stepping out with her boys, Gwen Stefani was spotted out and about in New York City on Friday (September 10).
The ?Hollaback Girl? singer along with sons, Kingston and Zuma, emerged onto the bustling streets of the Big Apple to hail a cab before zooming off.
Just yesterday, Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale took their little guys to the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum.
The cute of family of four looked to be having a marvelous day as they enjoyed the sights of NYC and had a gaggle of nannies helping them along the way.

In town for New York Fashion Week, Stefani has been busy gearing up to show off her L.A.M.B. collection later this week.

The ?Hella Good? songstress looked lovely in a white sleeveless top with distressed jeans and strappy heels as she spent time with Roger Federer's wife Mirka.
Gwen and Mirka were no doubt basking in the glory of Roger Federer?s victory over Jurgen Melzer at last night?s 2010 US Open Tournament.
Stefani watched the match at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center with her husband Gavin Rossdale as well as Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz.
