Showing off his new lady to his mother, Jake Gyllenhaal and Alyssa Miller walked with his mom, Naomi Foner, and Alyssa's dog Charlie in New York City on Sunday (July 14).
The "End of Watch" star wore a black T-shirt, black jeans, and a matching baseball cap as he held the hand of his model girlfriend and her Boston Terrier's leash.
Sharing a photo of her beloved pooch that day, the 24-year-old brunette beauty tweeted, "Brunch Time."
However, it seems Ms. Miller had to endure her new beau chowing down on tasty treats while she opted for fruit and granola. Posting a pic of leftover pizza and bacon frying in a pan along with her bowl of healthy food, Alyssa wrote, "Guess which one I'm eating this morning?"

Jake Gyllenhaal is back on the dating scene, ladies. Are you excited? The last we heard of Jake was the revelation that Taylor Swift’s had written one of her revenge songs, “We’re Never Ever Getting Back Together,” all about him because she was so haunted by the memory of their three months full of ice cream and cuddlefesting. Don’t get too excited though because Jake isn’t exactly an available man even though he’s clearly getting his mojo back. According to Us Weekly, Jake is reportedly seeing a 22-year-old Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit model named Emily DiDonato, whom he met at spinning class in NYC. At least they have a common interest, right? Here’s the story:
Did Jake Gyllenhaal meet his soulmate at SoulCyle? The End of Watch actor has been dating NYC-based model Emily DiDonato, Us Weekly can reveal.
A source tells Us that Gyllenhaal, 32, met the 22-year-old stunner in a spin class at a SoulCycle in Manhattan last fall. The actor and DiDonato (who was featured in Sports Illustrated’s 2013 swimsuit issue) have dated for “a month or two,” adds the insider.
It’s no surprise the star found his sweetie at the chic studio, where he works out weekly whenever he’s in NYC. Says a source, “He’ll hop on the instructor bike. He loves the attention from the girls!”
Gyllenhaal had a brief romance with Minka Kelly last summer. But his last serious relationship was with country singer Taylor Swift, 23, from October 2011 until January that same year.
He also dated his Rendition costar Reese Witherspoon from 2007 to 2009, and actress Kirsten Dunst in 2002 for nearly two years.

Emily's a cute girl with a fantastic body, and you can see her SI: Swimsuit spread here, but she didn't get to do any body paint shots. Let's hope that this girl lasts because Jake has a tendency to wallow in broken-hearted misery every time he gets burned. Like when Minka Kelly rejected him, and he had such a hard time getting over Reese Witherspoon. Not to mention the fact that he probably has to hear that Swifty song every time someone turns on the radio. Poor guy.

Here are some new photos of Jake Gyllenhaal in NYC on Friday. Does Jake want to tell us something? Did he find a new girlfriend?! I do think the body language between these two is saying ?dating/romantic? rather than ?just friends?. They?re holding hands! She?s leaning on him! And she?s petite and pretty, which is his type. Is there a new leading lady in Jake Gyllenhaal’s life? The actor was photographed holding hands with a mystery girl while going for a stroll in NYC Friday, Nov. 9. Gyllenhaal, 31, shared a few laughs with the brunette beauty as she held onto his arm.
The “End of Watch” actor is currently performing in the off-Broadway play If There is I Haven’t Found it Yet. Sporting a full, scruffy beard, Gyllenhaal kept warm in a puffy black coat and hat during the walk.
He briefly dated Minka Kelly over the summer, but Gyllenhaal’s last serious relationship was with singer-soongwriter Taylor Swift, 22, from October 2010 until January 2011.
Several songs on Swift’s new album, Red, are rumored to be about her relationship with Gyllenhaal. “She’s haunted by that relationship,” a source told Us Weekly, adding that the actor “totally screwed with her mind.”

A source close to Gyllenhaal tells Gossip Cop that ?she?s a long-time friend,? and adds that there?s ?nothing romantic there.?? But? but? they?re holding hands! They look couple-y!
Us Weekly is right about one thing, though: Jake has been largely single for the past few years, although I think he was probably trying to find an official girlfriend. There were rumors that Jake tried to get with Olivia Wilde on and off in 2011, and over the summer there were some rumors that Jake and Minka Kelly were briefly an item. I think Isabel Lucas was in there too at some point. But? it seems like Jake never really clicked with any of them for anything longer than a few weeks or a month. I feel like something is going on with him.

Doing a little last minute promoting for his latest film?s release, Jake Gyllenhaal made a stop by the ?Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? show in New York City on Friday (September 21).
The 31 year-old Hollywood hunk looked dapper for his talk show sit down while donning dark jeans, a suit jacket and a plentiful amount of facial hair.
Speaking of the scruff, Jimmy made sure to take notice of the new look, to which Jake jokingly replied, ?It?s not real,? adding, ?I thought it was a good idea at first, I would glue it on every day and now it?s just so much work to glue it on and then take it off at night.?
Besides the Oscar-nominated actor?s physical appearance, Gyllenhaal has a lot going on in his career - as his flick ?End Of Watch? opened earlier in the day while he's also starring in an off-Broadway play titled ?If There Is, I Haven?t Found It Yet.?

Giving the ladies plenty to swoon over, Jake Gyllenhaal made his arrival at the 2012 NCLR ALMA Awards at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium last night (September 16).
Clad in a navy blue button-up top beneath a dashing black suit, the ?Day After Tomorrow? hunk gave a smirk beneath his beard to the shutterbugs.
Last weekend, Jake was busy doing promotional duties up north at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.
He joined costars Anna Kendrick, America Ferrera, and Natalie Martinez at the premiere of their new flick ?End of Watch.?

Looking a bit like Teen Wolf in his scruffy beard, shades, and slicked back hair, Jake Gyllenhaal stopped by the "Late Show with David Letterman" today (August 27).
The "Love and Other Drugs" star wore a well-tailored navy suit with a white dress shirt and black shoes for the appearance.
In September, you can see the 31-year-old in the cop drama "End of Watch" in which he plays Officer Taylor, who patrols the dangerous gang-ridden streets of south central L.A.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, the "Brokeback Mountain" star explained his preparation for the film. "I spent five months on the streets with, like, three sets of police officers from the sheriff?s department and from the LAPD for five months, three nights a week, from like 4 in the afternoon til 4 in the morning."
Observation wasn't the only method of preparation however. Jake continues, "Then we did fight training -- pretty much every day with the exception of the weekend -- and then tactical training for two days a week with live ammunition. So it was a five-month, I would say, 'recruitment process,' in a way. It was very intense."

Closing out the weekend with a special press function for his new film, Jake Gyllenhaal took over the spotlight at a private screening of "'End of Watch" in East Hampton, New York on Sunday (August 19).
The handsome 31-year-old actor suited up as he was joined by actress Gwyneth Paltrow for the Goose Creek held event sponsored by The Hollywood Reporter and Samsung Galaxy SIII .
As for Jake's upcoming motion picture, an official synopsis describes it as "a powerful story of family, friendship, love, honor and courage." The writeup adds, "?End of Watch? stars Gyllenhaal and Pea as young Los Angeles police officers Taylor and Zavala as they patrol the city?s meanest streets of south central Los Angeles. Giving the story a gripping, first-person immediacy, the action unfolds entirely through footage from the handheld HD cameras of the police officers, gang members, surveillance cameras, and citizens caught in the line of fire to create a riveting portrait of the city's most dangerous corners, the cops who risk their lives there every day, and the price they and their families are forced to pay.?
The forthcoming flick is due to hit theaters on September 28th and also stars Michael Pena, Anna Kendrick, Frank Gillo and America Ferrera.

Hard at work on his latest film, Jake Gyllenhaal was spotted filming new scenes for his upcoming thriller "An Enemy" on Sunday afternoon (May 27).
The scruffy-haired stud kept it casual on the Toronto, Canada set while smoking a cigarette and talking to other cast and crew members in between takes.
According to Deadline, the new Denis Villeneuve-directed movie finds Jake playing a ?history teacher living a quiet life with his girlfriend until he discovers a physically identical man living nearby with his pregnant wife. The teacher stalks his double until the couples? lives become intertwined with lethal consequences.?
The psychological thriller is based on the Jos Saramago novel ?The Double,? and has recently enlisted three new actresses to the cast, with the trio of talents being Isabella Rossellini, Mlanie Laurent and Cosmopolis? Sarah Gadon.
