These are some photos of George Clooney on the Beverly Hills set of a new commercial for Mercedes-Benz. He filmed the commercial over the weekend, and as you can see, Clooney was animated and looking funny. I mean, he was being funny - he looked surprisingly great. After a weird moment last year when Clooney looked like he had gotten a toupee and some tweaking, old-school Clooney is back, at last. His hair has grown out (or he got a new piece - HAIR piece), his forehead doesn?t look so strange, and he seems fit and healthy. Elisabetta Canalis was bad for him as far as how he looked, I think. Maybe Stacy Keibler will be better for him.
Anyway, I really just wanted to talk about this new commercial that Clooney did for the Norwegian bank DnB NOR. It is ridiculously funny, and I love how much both Clooney and this actress sell the story:
That ad is so smart and funny. I wish we had ads like that in America. It plays into the fantasy some women (me) have about getting drunk and getting into an adventure. Only my adventure ends up with me in bed with Michael Fassbender and Clive Owen. That should be the next ad.

George Clooney finally allowed himself to be photographed in the same vicinity as Stacy Keibler. After not inviting Stacy to his pre-premiere party for The Ides of March, and after making her walk the red carpet solo before he arrived, Clooney finally decided it was time to be in the same frame as his girlfriend. These are photos from an after party for The Descendants, the other film Clooney is promoting in Toronto. That?s Stacy in black behind Clooney. I guess because Clooney is The King (of Hollywood), he makes his girls walk two paces behind him?
I need to stop being so negative about George Clooney and Stacy ?Cray-Cray? Keibler. There are lots of good things about Clooney?s latest ?romance?. For one, he?s back to American girls. Patriotism! Secondly, Cray-Cray looks like she?s going to be more talkative and gossipy, and she has lots of busted friends who will sell her out to the tabloids, so we?ll continue to get lots of stories about how Stacy thinks she can change George and how they?ll get married any minute. It?s always nice to laugh! Thirdly, I?m enjoying how Clooney is trying to mix it up with this relationship. For his last two ?relationships? - Sarah Larson and Elisabetta Canalis - Clooney followed the same basic plotline: get introduced, immediately move into a ?relationship? in which the girl moves in with him; girl gets a Pretty Woman-style makeover, with clothes and makeup and hair stylists; girl makes a red carpet debut as his ?girlfriend? - all of this within a matter of two months or so. I wonder why he seems to be holding back with Stacy? Is it because this one if going to get jettisoned in a hurry if she steps out of line?
Stacy got the memo too - discretion!
Stacy Keibler could sum up what she likes about George Clooney in one word.
“Everything!” she told PEOPLE on Friday night at the premiere of Clooney’s film The Ides of March at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Clooney, 50, and Keibler, 31, are taking their budding romance semi-public at the event ? they didn’t walk the red carpet together but they did party with pals afterwards at Deq lounge at the Ritz-Carlton, the second night they were spotted together there.
After fighting through a throng of fans, they made their way to the VIP area after midnight and throughout the night they laughed and chatted both with each other and friends.
“They have good chemistry, and she can hold her own with the boys,” says an onlooker. “They both can equally be the life of the party.”
They left holding hands early Saturday morning.

Just wait for it, though. Wait for Stacy to start giving interviews about how much Clooney loves her and how he loves her so much because she?s so tough and beautiful and smart. You know what I think? I think that Clooney might actually be a pretty good boyfriend. I know that might be a controversial opinion, and yes, he does pick dumb girls for a reason (because dumb girls soothe his ego). But I think that once he?s selected his dumb girl, he really treats her well and he?s a really nice ?boyfriend?. I?m just looking for a reason why these girls subjugate themselves so thoroughly for him. *shrugs*

Making for the second straight night of red carpet duties, George Clooney was back in the spotlight at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday evening (September 10).
The 50-year-old Hollywood mainstay was a hit at The Elgin venue as he joined Shailene Woodley for the premiere of "The Descendants".
The Alexander Payne-directed film sees Clooney's character, Matt King, act as an indifferent husband and father of two girls who is forced to re-examine his past and embrace his future when his wife suffers a boating accident off of Waikiki.
During a press conference earlier in the day, Clooney revealed that he relished portraying a family man in the new drama, as he said, "It was like having children, only I got to give them away at the end of the day, and it was much nicer."
George also noted that this was much tougher that his "Ides of March" efforts, saying, "This was obviously a lot more challenging to do as an actor, because when you're directing yourself, you're really only doing a part (and) I know exactly what I need done in it."
Also starring Matthew Lillard and Judy Greer, "The Descendants" is set to hit theaters November 18th.

These are new photos of George Clooney in Venice! He?s there for the start of the Venice Film Festival, and I believe his film The Ides of March (which Clooney directed and stars in) premieres there tonight. Clooney is like the unofficial mayor of Venice at this point, and he?s maybe Italy?s brightest star. So when Clooney arrives, he?s treated like a rock star. He looks good, I think. I like his hair these days, although I?m still concerned that there?s some kind of wiglet situation happening here. I?ll ignore it.
So, here?s a question: will Clooney walk the Venice Film Festival red carpet solo? After priming us with the possibility of Stacy Keibler being his new piece, it?s looking more and more like that was over before it really began. Keibler hasn?t been around in weeks, and Clooney has been hanging out with his dude friends (and Cindy Crawford) in Lake Como for a while. Maybe Clooney just needed some ?me time?. Or maybe Stacy Keibler is full of crazy.
Perpetual bachelor George Clooney prepped for the Venice Film Festival?s opening night by taking a weeklong, motorcycling man-cation with Bono and Rande Gerber. Sources tell us that Clooney has cooled things with former female wrestler Stacy Keibler and has been spending time with his friends.
He began his boys-only trip with the U2 singer and husband of Cindy Crawford last week. The trio jumped on matching touring motorcycles and hit the open road, heading through the French Riviera and stopping at Bono?s beachside villa in Eze-sur-Mer. The rocker has famously entertained the likes of Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Robert De Niro at the manse he owns with The Edge.
The three rolled into Monaco, a source said, and partied at legendary nightclub Jimmy?z along the way. They then all headed to Clooney?s place in Lake Como, Italy, where they were joined by supermodel Crawford and actress Evan Rachel Wood.
Clooney floated into Venice yesterday on a boat with Gerber and an entourage for the festival?s opening and premiere of his Oscar hopeful, ?The Ides of March.?
His co-star in the political drama, Ryan Gosling, couldn?t make it to Venice because he?s shooting ?Gangster Squad? with Sean Penn. Sources say Clooney invited Charlie Rose to the premiere as his special guest.
Meanwhile, Clooney and his ex, Elisabetta Canalis, who split in June after nearly two years, seem to be taking very different paths. While he hits the movie-festival circuit, she has been cast with Chaz Bono and Nancy Grace as a contestant on ?Dancing With the Stars.? Keibler was also a ?DWTS? contestant.
Clooney?s next stop will be Telluride, Colo., where sources say ?Ides? will screen and Clooney will be honored. The buzzy fest keeps its lineup secret till the day before it begins.

In other Clooney news, he just pulled out of Steven Soderbergh?s The Man From U.N.C.L.E. because the role would have been too stunt-intensive. A source told E! News, ?He said he just can’t do the action and stunt scenes. In fact, I think he’s planning on having another operation during the time he would have been filming.” Apparently, Clooney still hurts from his old Syriana injuries.

Honestly, I?m not even sure George Clooney is still boning Stacy Keibler. Usually, when Clooney starts dating a girl, she gets the PR rollout pretty quickly. There will be a ?What you need to know about Clooney?s new girl? piece in People Magazine, followed by glowing reports of how THIS is the girl who finally stole Clooney?s heart, followed quickly by a red carpet debut as a couple, because Clooney schedules his new relationships to coincide with his promotional schedule. Stacy Keibler hasn?t gotten much of that, and I feel like the articles about their relationship (they?re ?more than a fling? but ?not monogamous?) have come from HER, not HIM. I also feel like Stacy has gone rogue a bit - usually George?s girls start out much more discreet. Something about a ?golden gagging clause? I believe. Anyway, In Touch Weekly has the latest Keibler-centric piece which just makes her sound dumb.
Stacy Keibler managed to snag George Clooney in July, but the former WWE wrestling champ may be single very soon if she doesn?t keep her trap shut!
?Stacy gushes that they?re in love,? a friend tells In Touch, adding that the 31-year-old insists she is ?different? from George?s past conquests. In fact, Stacy is so smitten, she has taken to stopping off at George?s Studio City, CA, house to hang out, but she doesn?t stay the night.
Still, she boasts that?s going to change very, very soon, reveals the friend.
?They haven?t discussed moving in together yet, but she thinks that definitely isn?t far off.?
Stacy might want to check in with George about that before she hires movers. He made it crystal clear that he will never marry again after his 1993 divorce from Talia Balsam. And George, 50, abruptly ended his two-year romance with Elisabetta Canalis in June after she follishly said in a magazine interview that she would wed in the future.
Despite Stacy and George?s disconnect over their relationship status, at least for now he doesn?t have a problem rebounding from Elisabetta by taking Stacy to the mat. Notes the friend, ?Their sex life is super-hot.?

As we found out last week, George Clooney has a new piece. She?s a blonde too, which doesn?t give me confidence that she?ll last more than a few months. The blonde in question is WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, and she?s already positioning herself to make the most of out of this liaison with Clooney. Girl has already been tweeting cryptic messages about how happy she is and how ?sore? she is (no joke). So instead of asking ?how long will Clooney keep her around?? we now face a barrage of reports about the state of their awesome relationship.
When former WWE wrestler and actress Stacy Keibler drove her Mercedes through the gates to George Clooney’s Studio City, Calif., home Sunday, she seems to have unwittingly confirmed that the two are dating.
“It’s more than just a fling,” a source told USmagazine.com, adding that the odd pair have known one another for a number of years and have even vacationed together in London and at Clooney’s home in Italy.
It was just a quick trip in California, though, that has people talking: As of Monday morning, a day after Keibler arrived at Clooney’s home, she had yet to leave.
If the two are camping out together in Clooney’s love nest, it’s been a long time in the making. They met in 2006 at an Oscars party and struck up a longtime friendship when the “Up In The Air” star approached Keibler and told her he recognized her from her role on the “Dancing With the Stars.”

I think in the distant past, George Clooney has dated a few blondes. Just because I can?t recall any of them doesn?t mean it?s not true. For the most part, though, Clooney tends to only get ?serious? (serious about paying for it) with busty brunettes who often bare a passing resemblance to Cindy Crawford. I?m think of Elisabetta Canalis, Sarah Larson, Lisa Snowdon and one of the my favorites, and the one I think was probably the prettiest of his girlfriends, Krista Allen, who was basically a soft-core porn actress. My point? Clooney loves a brunette with curves. That face isn?t that important, and he?ll buy you a new pair of boobs if you want. He might not even care if you started out a woman or a man.
So imagine my shock at this Life & Style report - according to their sources, Clooney is loved up in Italy with? Stacy Keibler. She was in the WWE. And Dancing with the Stars. And? that?s about it. When CB sent this to me, my immediate thought was ?This blonde is a bridge between brunettes.? She won?t last long, despite her glowing tweets, presumably from Italy - you can read them here. However, I will change my opinion if Stacy dyes her hair to what I?m guessing is her natural brunette shade. She might last longer than a month or two then.
By the way, I believe Clooney is due at both the Venice Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival. Elisabetta and George made their big debut as a couple at the Venice Film Festival, and historically, Clooney has no problems introducing his new piece to the world via a formal red carpet roll-out. So will Stacy get the red carpet treatment? Eh.
PS? As I was looking up photos of Stacy, all of a sudden I totally saw it. She looks like a blonde Sarah Larsen! If Stacy dyes her hair darker, they could totally be sisters. I?ll include a pic of Sarah Larson too!

Yet another ?Why George Clooney dumped Elisabetta? story! This one involves the words ?tight? and ?fist?. Gross. So, we?ve already heard how Clooney dumped Elisabetta because she drove him nuts and they were leading separate lives anyway. Then we heard about how Clooney dumped Eli because he?s totally NOT gay, and never fake dates, but he probably does make his girlfriends sign ?golden gagging clauses? (I?m sure those clauses involve ?tight? and? gross). And I think the last thing we heard was about Clooney dumping Eli because she?s a famewhore who would do anything in front of a camera? We get it, Team Clooney. He dumped her. She deserved it. Enough!
But it?s not enough! Mike Walker over at The Enquirer claims that the real (super-REAL!) reason that Cloons dumped Cans was just because he?s tight-fisted (gross?)? WITH MONEY. It seems Clooney is fine with ?taking care? of a girl financially, but he?s never going to let a woman get near his ass(ets).
George Clooney never intended to marry Elisabetta Canalis, or any woman EVER because he?s too tight-fisted! Revealed a close Clooney pal: ?What terrifies George is losing any of his hard-earned fortune - estimated at $160 million! He?s extremely generous while he?s in a relationship, but the thought of losing even part of his fortune in a divorce settlement sickens him. George doesn?t even believe in prenups, because there?s usually a legal loophole. His ideal partner would be a woman who?s happy sharing his life without sharing her name on HIS bankbook.?

I think there a lot of men like this, especially when you?re talking about a man who grew up with very little and made his money later in life. I mean, think about it: Clooney only started rolling in dough when he was well into his 30s. I don?t blame him for wanting to protect his ass and his assets, but at the end of day, I can?t help but think that his personal priorities are somewhat skewed. You can?t take it with you, you know. Eternal bachelor George Clooney and his Italian model girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis have gone their separate ways after nearly two years together. Maybe he no like-a the juice, eh? According to Us Magazine:
“We are not together anymore,” [Clooney and Canalis said] in a joint statement. “It’s very difficult and very personal and we hope everyone can respect our privacy.”
Clooney [recently said] that he wouldn’t wed again — not Canalis or anyone, for that matter — [but] Canalis seemed less averse to walking down the aisle.
“I am a firm believer in marriage,” she told Chi. “In the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am,” she says. “I don’t need anything to confirm how happy I am.”
I’ll tell you why Clooney dumped her. Clooney dumped her because everybody knows models have a maximum shelf life of two years from the date of purchase. It’s just like with a carton of milk. Any longer than that and they both start to sour and turn into cottage cheese.
