Tending to domestic needs, Colin Farrell was looking ever-so-studly as he made his way over to Gelson's market in Hollywood, California on Thursday afternoon (July 15).
Joined by a mystery gal pal, the Irish actor loaded up on groceries while taking advantage of a break from working on his new movie called "Horrible Bosses".
Always in high demand, Farrell is also getting ready to star in a Craig Gillespie directed remake of the popular Halloween flick, "Fright Night".
Also starring Sandra Vergara, David Tennant, Anton Yelchin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Toni Collette, the picture about a teenager who discovers his neighbors are vampires hits theaters in October 2011.

Actors sometimes have to go to extremes in their appearance for movie roles- and that?s just what Colin Farrell was up to yesterday on the set of ?Horrible Bosses.?
The ?Recruit? stud donned a bald man?s comb-over wig as he got into character for his role as Bobby Pellit on location in Los Angeles.
In the film, Colin and his cohorts conspire to kill their bosses when they realize they are standing in the way of their happiness.
?Horrible Bosses? also stars Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey, Donald Sutherland, Jason Bateman, and Jamie Foxx and is due in theaters in July 2011.

Only one question really comes to mind after seeing these pictures of Colin Farrell. And that question is, “Won’t you please, won’t you please, please won’t you be… my neighbor?” I have a feeling Mr. McFeely up there could show you a thing or two about just how neighborly a little “beautywood” can be.

He?s been busy doing promotion for his new film ?Ondine? and Colin Farrell says it was tough getting the right Irish accent for his role.
The ?Phone Booth? stud told press that although he was born and raised on the Emerald Isle, the American influence he?s had has detracted from his natural tongue.
"I spent most of my childhood watching ?TJ Hooker? and ?CHiPS? so I was more familiar with an American accent than an Irish one."
"This film was one of the hardest accents I've had to do especially because I felt a national obligation not to f--- it up. The local [Irish] papers said I did 'all right.'"

They typically lay pretty low, so it comes as quite the surprise that Colin Farrell and Alicja Bachleda were spotted out in New York City last night (April 28).
The couple -who?s been dating for over a year- showed up together at the Tribeca Film Festival for the premiere of the film ?Ondine.?
The flick is a love story about an Irish fisherman (played by Farrell) who finds a woman (played by Bachleda) in his net who he believes is a mermaid.
Of how the two met, Alicja told press, "We met on the set, and we were very professional and focused on our part and our jobs. The story itself is so beautiful ? we really didn't have time to get our true emotions [on screen].?

So, here?s a question - does Colin Farrell think that country-western styles are in right now? Because that mustache doesn?t make sense. He?s not filming a western, he?s not doing a western-themed photo shoot (as far as I can make out). I think he just likes this. The hat, the mustache, the ?Brad Pitt in The Assassination of Jesse James? style. Like, Hollywood western. Anyway, this was Colin and his girl/baby-mama Alicja last night at the Tribeca premiere of Ondine, the film where they met and fell in love. Alicja looks great, as usual, but also like, ?I don?t get his style either, but look at what I?m rocking.? That?s Neil Jordan, the director of Ondine (and The End of the Affair and The Crying Game, amongst others) beside them.
Here?s the trailer for Ondine. I think it looks really good - like a depressing Splash:
Look at this closeup of Alicja?s face. It?s kind of mesmerizing. She?s so pretty, even when she?s rolling her eyes.
Here are some other photos of the two of them posing together. Why does Colin look so over it? Don?t dump her Colin!

Hitting the red carpet, Colin Farrell and girlfriend Alicja Bachleda turned up for the 2010 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival on Thursday night (February 18).
Fresh off of a flight from London, the cute couple posed for pictures before checking out the premiere of “Ondine” at The Savoy.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Colin recently confessed that as he’s quit drinking, he’s been able to appreciate his career with a more mature mindset.
“It’s put more focus on my career. I’m a lot more appreciative over what I have. For years I was adamantly trying to show that I wasn’t worthy or that I didn’t know why it happened to me. I enjoy it a lot more now.”

| Colin Farrell spent Christmas visiting sick kids in an Irish hospital | Added 14 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Maybe I?m just too emotional, or maybe I was just having an off-day when I read this, but this article made me cry. It seems Colin Farrell was ?caught? spending Christmas day at an Irish hospital (specifically, Crumlin, Ireland), hanging out with sick kids and bringing them cool presents like Ninetendo Wiis. The Irish Herald also notes that Colin ?has carried out similarly unheralded visits to Crumlin for the past few years.? Oh, but that?s not all. It seems that since Colin?s oldest son, James, was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome, Colin has been something of a tireless (yet under-the-radar) supporter of the Special Olympics. Here?s more:
KIND-HEARTED new dad Colin Farrell paid a secret visit to sick children in Our Lady’s Hospital, Crumlin, on Christmas Day. The In Bruges actor played and chatted with children for several hours on Christmas Day and also brought them presents. And it wasn’t his first festive visit — he has carried out similarly unheralded visits to Crumlin for the past few years.
“He keeps a low profile when he comes in. He doesn’t want photographers or anything,” a well-placed source told the Herald about the actor’s visits. He comes in every Christmas Day and spends a lot of time with the children.?
“He has bought Nintendo DS and Wiis for them and plays with them for a couple of hours,” the source added. “He’s really popular with the staff and really genuine, and the kids really love and appreciate his visit.”
The actor, who recently became a father for the second time to baby son Henry, does not want to court any publicity when visiting patients. And back in 2003, Colin (33) helped support the Special Olympics which was hosted then in Ireland.
Since then, he has been a tireless campaigner for the cause, regularly giving up any free time he has to help the organization with their activities and further raise their profile. Much of Colin’s spare time is spent in Los Angeles, so he can be with his six-year-old son James, who suffers from the rare, neuro-genetic condition, Angelman Syndrome.
Colin often credits little James, who lives with his model mum Kim Bordenave, with saving his life thanks to the positive influence he has held over his father since he was born.
The award-winning actor spent Christmas at home this year, and brought elder son James (6) to enjoy festivities in their father’s native area of Castleknock. Baby Henry, who was born in October, is also believed to have made the trip.
A source close to the former hell-raiser has confirmed how the actor will be jetting home with his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda (26) and their tiny tot on Christmas Eve.
“Colin’s a real family-orientated guy and nearly always makes it back for Christmas anyway, no matter how busy he is with his filming schedule, but this year it will be extra-special thanks to his new baby.”
[From The Irish Herald]
Now we know why Colin Farrell still makes panties drop wherever he goes. Because in his heart, he?s a good boy. He plays at being the bad boy to great effect, but I really have no doubt that he?s a very sweet, considerate, lovely man. Sigh? okay, I?m overly-emotional for crying while reading this, right? I love Colin. I want him to be happy. I want him to make good movies and win awards and stay sober and be a great dad. That?s the Colin I?m seeing now.
