Fitting in a full day of fashion, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan were side-by-side in Milan, italy on Monday (September 27).
After attending the Giorgio Armani Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show the well-dressed pair headed over to Armani restaurant for a fancy dinner to close out the evening.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya's career has been in full throttle with numerous new movies including the upcoming film "Robot".
Asked about her character, Miss Rai replied, "In one year I have got to work in four very different films. I got to do Raavan and Raavanan, Sana in Robot, Mala in Action Replayy and Shopia in Guzaarish. As an actor, it is very exciting. I haven't been part of the conventional commercial genre. So for me in that sense it is new to do a livewire character of someone who is chulbuli (bubbly) and fun through the film. Robot is an entertaining movie."
Also asked whether she's up for lower budget films compared to big budget pictures, Aishwarya told, "True, I have done a lot of big budget films. But at the same time, I have also done Choker Bali and Raincoat, which had conservative budgets. So I think this question is redundant. I don't say yes to a movie asking the budget of the film. My criteria of saying yes to a film are the director, the script, and the character."

She?s always up for a good time, and over the weekend (August 14) Aishwarya Rai was spotted at the music launch ceremony for the Hindi film ?Robot.?
The ?Bride and Prejudice? actress looked amazing as she posed for the paparazzi outside the swanky event in Mumbai.
During a recent press conference, Aishwarya?s costar Rajinikanth explained that fans actually questioned how he got Ms. Rai to star in his film.
"Once my neighbor?s guest with his kids met me while I was in the South, he asked me whether I was now retired and if I did have any hair left for good life. He thought that I had retired from the film line. He also questioned me whether I was doing any film. I answered him back saying that I was doing a film called Robot which had Aishwarya Rai.?
?The man got excited and started praising Aishwarya. But then paused and asked me - Who is the main actor in the film? I had to then tell him - It's me. He got shocked and wasn't able to believe it. He even tried telling me what was wrong with Aishwarya that she agreed to act with me. And went that extra mile in asking how could Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan could've allowed her to act opposite Rajinikanth."

Dolled up after hitting the wardrobe, hair and makeup trailer, Kate Winslet and Aishwarya Rai were spotted filming scenes for a L?Oreal television commercial in Rome, Italy on Tuesday (July 20).
The Miss World hottie and the ?Revolutionary War? beauty looked breath-taking as they shot several scenes for the cosmetics and beauty brand.
As a long time brand ambassador for L?Oreal, a source spoke of Aishwarya telling that she has always admired Winslet?s work and is very excited to meet and interact with the award-winning actress.
Ms Rai?s time with L?Oreal marked the beginning of the beauty giants launch into the Indian subcontinent.

Stepping out for some promotional duties, Aishwarya Rai was spotted at the UK premiere of ?Raavan? in London today (June 16).
The ?Bride and Prejudice? actress looked beautiful as she arrived at the BFI Southbank, posing for the paparazzi before she headed inside.
?Raavan? is about a bandit leader who kidnaps the wife of the policeman who killed his sister, but later falls in love with her.
The film is set to open in theaters in the UK and India this Friday, June 18th, with various other release dates around the world.

The 36-year-old Indian actress was treated to an exciting match in the Women's Final - as Francesca Schiavone beat Samantha Stosur in two sets to become the first Italian woman to claim a Grand Slam title.
Meanwhile, the tournament draws to an end tomorrow as Rafael Nadal will take on Robyn Soderling in the Men's Final.

The ?Bride & Prejudice? babe looked lovely as she greeted the crowd, sporting a simple-yet-sexy white dress.
The book being launched is ?Again,? written by Pritish Nandy, and it marks the author?s return to poetry after 20 years.
Nandy told press, "It was only because of constant nudging of noted poet Gulzaar that I have taken to poetry again. The entire collection of my poems which even I don't have, is with Gulzaar."

Barbie is getting a facelift. Sort of. In the grand recent tradition of ?celebrity Barbies,? Mattel is going to introduce an Indian Barbie. They are naming her ?Bollywood Barbie? and they will base her looks on Bollywood (and Hollywood) actress Aishwarya Rai. Rai may be familiar to Western audiences through her role in Pink Panther 2 and as one of the faces of L?Oreal. She’s absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful face and figure - and she?s famous for her striking green eyes.
Bollywood superstar Aishwarya Rai is set to win the ultimate beauty accolade ? a Barbie doll modeled on her celebrated face. Rai sprung to fame when she won the Miss World contest in 1994, which spawned a lucrative modelling and acting career.
She made the transition to Hollywood with starring roles in Bride and Prejudice, Mistress of Spices, The Last Legion and more recently in Pink Panther 2 alongside Steve Martin.
She became the face of L’Oral cosmetics in 2005 and is one of only two Indian film stars to have their waxwork image displayed at Madame Tussaud’s. She formally became a member of Bollywood’s “royal family” when she married actor Abhishek Bachchan, the son of India’s most popular star Amitabh Bachchan.
Now she is set to join the ranks of Hollywood immortals and pop divas like Beyonc Knowles, Elizabeth Taylor, and Diana Ross, who have all had “celebrity Barbies” modeled on them.
Rai’s representatives were yesterday reported to be in negotiations with the toy manufacturer as it plans to transform the iconic doll into a Bollywood star and sell it throughout India.
If successful, the new Barbie will have Miss Rai’s striking green eyes, and wear outfits created by India’s top designers.

Argh! They?re only doing Bollywood Barbie in India. That sucks. Aren?t there enough little girls in America and Britain who want to have a Bollywood Barbie? Or are they only supposed to idealize blond hair and vacant, dead eyes?
I will give Mattel credit for using Indian designers to create Bollywood Barbie?s clothes. That?s really cool. I wonder if Bollywood Barbie will have a sari? Will she have a removable bindi? That would be cool, but can you imagine how small that dot would have to be?
