She walked down the aisle and married Kyle Jacobs back on January 1st, and Kellie Pickler recently opened up to Ellen DeGeneres on how she changed up her original wedding plans.
The ?Red High Heels? singer told the daytime talk show host, ?We were almost finished with planning, we had already done the cake and the flowers and all that. And every time we got to the guest list, it was like, 'Oh my God, I hate half these people!'"
?It was perfect, because we didn't plan anything. I packed the wedding dress and he packed an outfit. We flew there and we didn't know what kind of cake we were going to get. We didn't know what food we were going to have. . . it was the most incredible day of my life.?
And that's what prompted Kellie and Kyle to ditch their lavish, fairy tale ceremony and elope.

She got hitched on New Year?s Day on a private Caribbean island, and Kellie Pickler looked nothing short of amazing.
The ?American Idol? alum married songwriter Kyle Jacobs while wearing a simply stunning Badgley Mischka wedding gown.
Designer James Mischka told press, ?We have been huge fans of Kellie?s ever since ?American Idol.?
Mark Badgley added, "We think the classic ball gown silhouette is perfect for her amazing figure. And the beaded accents on the back of the tulle skirt gave her just the little amount of sparkle she was looking for."

You barley hear anything about former American Idol star and country singer Kellie Pickler, but from what little I’ve heard of her I find her refreshingly funny, down to earth and normal. This latest story just confirms it for me. Pickler, 24, got married in the Caribbean over the holiday season, but she didn’t release any photos to the press and she only issued two very brief statements about it on Twitter. “Yes, it’s true, @kylecjacobs and I said “I Do!” Thank you Jesus!” and “Private Island. Caribbean. Cigar in one hand, Rum in the other. Someone just called me “Mrs. Jacobs.”….sounds nice :)” Here’s a story about it, from Fox:
Country singer Kellie Pickler married her boyfriend Kyle Jacobs this weekend on a private island in the Caribbean, her rep tells FOX411.com.
While no photos or details of the ceremony were released, her rep said the ?intimate ceremony? took place on New Year?s Day.
Pickler, 24, and Jacobs, a songwriter, met back in 2007. Jacobs, 37, has penned hits for singers Tim McGraw and Garth Brooks, as well as working on Pickler?s latest album.
Jacobs popped the question this summer, but the couple kept quiet on any plans for the big day.

People Magazine has a photo of these two on the beach, but that was their engagement photo and it doesn’t look like they’ve put out any wedding photos at all, not that I’d mind. I would love to see a picture of them on their special day.
Congratulations to Kellie and Kyle! Their names sound so cute together as a couple, like “We’re going over to Kellie and Kyle’s house to watch the game.” If they have a daughter, they should resist the urge to call her Kylie, though. That would be too much.

Arriving ahead of her hosting duties, Carrie Underwood was spotted arriving to the 2010 Country Music Awards in Nashville, TN on Wednesday evening (November 10).
The ?Jesus Take the Wheel? singer was decked out in the first of surely many fancy ensembles as she posed for pictures at the Bridgestone Arena venue solo before spending time alongside fellow female singer Kellie Pickler.
Always a fan favorite, this marks the third consecutive year Underwood will play host alongside Brad Paisley.
Talking with press about how their hosting style, Carrie recently told press, "In the whole scheme of things, we really start out reading what's on the teleprompter. And towards the end of the night, we're like, 'Nah!'"

Apparently the worst-kept secret in Nashville has still been one of the best-kept secrets outside of it. According to the San Francisco Gate and general internet buzz, Kellie Pickler (of ?American Idol? fame) and Kid Rock have been dating ? for over a year now! While they haven?t been public, Kellie?s let the word slip a few times, including a vague mention to during a radio interview.
Rocker Kid Rock is secretly dating “American Idol” star Kellie Pickler, according to tabloid reports.
The hitmaker showed up at the recent CMT Video Awards in Nashville, Tenn., with ex-girlfriend Sheryl Crow, but he was really at the award show to be close to his new love, according to the Globe.
A source tells the publication, “The romance between Kellie and Kid has been the worst-kept secret in Nashville.”
Insiders claim Pickler was talking about Kid Rock when she recently told a radio interviewer, “I’m seeing someone. I got a man. He’s a great, great guy. We’ve been seeing each other for over a year.”
Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, has been linked to a string of lovely ladies and was briefly married to Pamela Anderson in 2006.

As the Gate mentioned, Kid Rock has very recently been linked with longtime friend Sheryl Crow - but somehow that match just didn?t make sense. They seem firmly ensconced in platonic territory, and frankly she seems too smart to date him.
For some reason I really do like Kellie Pickler. Even though she walks a fine line between ditzy and dumb (who could forget her hilarious turn on “Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader” in which she thought Europe was a country, didn’t know that Hungary was one, and asked what country Budapest was the capital of?), you can tell she?s genuinely a sweet, good person. And given her tough upbringing, I find it impossible not to root for her.
That said, I don?t really like the idea of her and Kid. I mean he married Pam Anderson. Beat up Tommy Lee. Has done dirtier things ? and there?s video to prove it ? than some adult movie stars. Kellie is hot and naive, and that?s a combination that?s bound to get her into trouble. Unfortunately she?ll just have to figure that out for herself ? or surprise us when it turns out just fine.

Taylor Swift may consider her tourmate Kellie Pickler one of her BFFs, but Pickler thinks of the 19-year-old superstar, who she'll be hitting the road with starting Thursday (April 23) in Evansville, Indiana, as her "little sister."
"She's like a little sister to me," the "American Idol" alum told MTV News. "She's a lot taller than me, but like a little sister."

Doing her part to spread a little holiday cheer amongst the troops, Kellie Pickler opened up about her trip to visit military personnel in Germany, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kosovo and England over the past week.
Telling of the experience on her MySpace blog, Pickler wrote, “I just got back from my second USO tour. Once again, the most incredible thing I have ever done in my life. ... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the men and women serving our country. I will never take what you do for granted.”
