Matt Rutler was basically Christina Aguilera?s jumpoff after she split up with her then-husband Jordan Bratman in 2010. Which means that Christina and Rutler have been together for more than three years. He was with her through those awkward clown-makeup years and he was with her that time she peed a little at a funeral. He was with her through dual arrests. He was with her that time she passed out drunk on Jeremy Renner?s bed. He was with her through the bright-orange years. He was with her through thick and thin. And now he?s going to be the new Mr. Aguilera. Christina posted the photo below on her Instagram, writing: ?He asked and I said??
That ring is? different. It doesn?t really look like an engagement ring, right? It looks like a diamond ?fashion ring? for your left hand. But sure, if it?s an engagement ring, then so be it. I actually sort of forgot that Christina and Matt were still together, quite honestly. Christina went through a stage when Rutler was her ?escort? to all of the assorted bars in Hollywood, and there were always plenty of photos of them out and about, stumbling around. But then Christina got cleaned up (I guess) and now she?s ready to get married. Okay. I would roll my eyes and say that there?s no future except that it seems like Matt is quite happy to be Christina?s quiet, unassuming boyfriend and now he?ll be her quiet, unassuming husband. Why not?
Here?s a crazy thought: Christina got engaged to Matt before J.Lo got engaged to Casper Smart. WHOA.

Looking to satisfy their growling tummies, Christina Aguilera and Matthew Rutler headed over to the Off Vine restaurant in Hollywood on Tuesday evening (December 17).
The ?Ain?t No Other Man? songstress and her longtime boyfriend both looked delighted following Christina?s killer ?Do What U Want? duet with Lady Gaga on ?The Voice.?
Aguilera and Gaga have long been rumored to be feuding, so the collaboration also served to put to rest the erroneous reports.
After the show, Christina tweeted, "She is such a powerhouse vocalist and I was honored to join the stage with @ladygaga tonight on #TheVoice!"
Prior to the gig, Gaga noted, "I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale and I obviously can't refuse. It's such an amazing show and I said, 'I'll do it, but I want to know if Christina will do it with me."
And of course, Ms. Aguilera couldn?t say no- "This is the first time we've ever met and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate I said, 'Of course! Lady Gaga!' I've been waiting to meet her. She's such an innovative artist and a risk taker and as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that. She's the most down to earth real person that I've ever met in this business. Female to female in this industry, it's really hard to find that kind of a person. I love you girl, and you deserve everything that you've earned."

Here is Christina Aguilera looking better than ever on the red carpet at American Music Awards. The newly slim diva wanted to show off her bangin? body, while keeping it classy and found the perfect dress to do it.
This year she performed her indie smash “Say Something” with the duo A Great Big World in a simple black dress and minimal makeup, letting her weight loss shine without making her outfit over the top.

The American Music Awards aired last night on ABC. You can see the list of winners here and Global Grind has a great compilation of the performance videos. We’ll be doing the fashion in this post, and will have more coming up for you shortly.
First off we have a slimmed down Christina Aguilera, looking like she always does, in a white clingy Maria Lucia Hohan gown with side cutouts. I appreciate that she’s somewhat demure, for her, and that she’s going for glamour over showing too much skin. That’s somewhat relative with XTina, I mean we can see her ribcage and halfway up her thigh on the side, but this is a real improvement. I’d love to see her do a punky look, but this is gorgeous and classy.
Check out her jewelry, it’s fabulous. Red Carpet Fashion Awards reports that Christina is wearing “Lorraine Schwartz cocktail rings and pendant earrings,” with Christian Louboutin heels. Her clutch is Jimmy Choo.
I’m putting Alicia Silverstone right after XTina because she’s showing the kind of edgy look I wish Christina would try out. Just seeing these thumbnails, I never would have guessed that was Alicia Silverstone! She’s in a black Nicole Miller dress with gold overlay in a contemporary pattern. I love her hair and makeup. One minor complaint: she could have toned it down with the bangle bracelets.
In contrast to the previous two ladies we have Heidi Klum in Marchesa. Of course this goofy, 80s lingerie looking dress with fringe at the bottom is Marchesa, and of course Heidi Klum is wearing it with pride. This is what she does. She is either trolling us with her fashion or she genuinely thinks this looks good. I never quite know with Heidi.
Ciara is in a J. Mendel dress with intricate embroidery. Some of the panels are actually see-through, but you have to look hard to see it. I think this dress is killer. It fits her like a glove and I love the angular, kind of art deco design. This is how you do see through.
Jordin Sparks did the Jolie in an empire waist Jovani Couture gown featuring a leather bodice studded in gold spikes. I might have liked this dress with about a third of the studs, but it looks too busy up top and it doesn’t quite go with the flowing skirt. Jordin’s makeup looks off somehow, but maybe the dress is influencing my opinion.
Naya Rivera looked like Vampira, Mistress of the Dark, in this ridiculous Michael Kors fishtail dress. Her implants were on display and she posed very hard.
Finally, I’m not fond of Giuliana Rancic’s dress and I can’t figure out why. (I don’t have a designer ID for it yet.) Maybe it’s that the black straps around the top are too wide and distracting and don’t seem to go with the lace details. It could be the bizarre metallic skirt coupled with the scallop lace overlay. It’s like this dress is a bunch of separate parts that don’t go together. She got the spirit of the AMAs right, I’ll give her that.

Teaming up for an emotional on-stage performance, Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World belted out their duet tune, "Say Something" at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24).
Looking slim as ever, Xtina looked stunning in a simple black dress while her male counterparts kept it dashing in classy suits.
Reliving their memorable experience, the guys, Ian and Chad, took to their Twitter page after the show, writing, "Watching tonight's performance for the first time. Amazing, insane, magical. Thank you so much @xtina!"
"Say Something" was originally recorded back in September, before Aguilera joined in on the amazing song and re-released it just this month. Check out the performance in the player below!

Looking for an excuse to get all gussied up, Christina Aguilera headed over to the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles for the 2013 American Music Awards tonight (November 24).
The ?Dirrty? babe was more than happy to work her mojo for the cameras before scurrying inside to catch all the star-studded action.
Later, the "Voice" judge will take the stage along with artists One Direction, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Kendrick Lamar.
Tonight?s festivities will be hosted by noted rapper Pitbull, while Rihanna will receive the first ever AMA Icon Award for her prolific pop music career.

Over the summer, Christina Aguilera debuted her new figure at the NBC Upfronts, while she promoted her return to The Voice. Incidentally, did anyone really miss her from The Voice? It was my understanding that most people watch The Voice for Blake Shelton, and that viewers really liked Shakira. Anyway, Christina debuted her new, slimmer figure and everybody talked about how great she looked and every interview Christina has given since then has been the same old inanities about how she loves sex, she?s super-sexy and powerful and empowered and sexy and she loves sex.
But I still have some questions about Christina?s weight loss. For a while there, her weight gain was significant and even a few months before her ?new body debut,? Christina still seemed to be carrying significant booze weight (so many empty calories!). Back in July, I theorized that she had lap-band surgery, although many of you yelled at me and told me she wasn?t big enough for lap-band to start with (I disagree). Now Radar is getting in on the theorizin?.
Now that is beautiful! Christina Aguilera is back in the red chair on the Voice looking spectacular with her super slimmed down figure, which two top doctors estimate to RadarOnline.com is an extreme 80 pound weight loss that may have been achieved by a drastic diet and plastic surgery!
The 32-year-old former Mouseketeer had struggled with her weight for the last few years, weathering difficult criticism including claims that she was pregnant because of extra pounds, but she?s shed the weight from exactly a year ago and is rocking a much slimmer frame lately.
?I think she was 165 to 170 and now is a perfect 110 to 115,? Dr. Fred Pescatore, who has not treated Christina, told RadarOnline.com about the 5?2? star.
The ?Dirrty? singer has been happily flaunting her lithe figure and told Redbook magazine that she doesn?t always make hitting the gym a priority.
?If I have to choose between working out and spending time with my son after a hard day, it?s not even a question,? she said in the November issue of the magazine.
One way that Xtina may have been able to slim down is by going under the knife.
?The only surgery she may have had is a breast lift because if you notice, they reduced in size perfectly which could happen but is unlikely,? Dr. Pescatore, nutritionist and author of The Hamptons Diet, told RadarOnline.com.
According to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Lance Wyatt, who also has not treated Christina, extreme weight loss is possible in under a year.
?In 10 months, patients may lose up to as much as 80 lbs or more with aggressive diet, exercise, diet pills, and/or bariatric surgery,? he told RadarOnline.com. ?Looks like Christina may have had liposuction of her body and/or tummy tuck for flatter abdomen and more narrow waistline.?
?Her face seems a little thinner but not much, again probably weight loss by natural or surgical means.?

Yeah, these are just theories. No one knows for sure. I?m willing to admit I might be wrong about lap-band, but I stand by my opinion that whatever happened with Christina, it wasn?t all-natural diet and exercise. I do hope that she isn?t boozing so heavily these days, and if she has cut down her alcohol intake, that probably DID de-bloat her to a significant degree. But the rest of it? I could totally see lipo or a tummy tuck. And I thought Christina had gotten implants years and years ago? Maybe she went in and got some new, smaller implants plus a breast lift or something. That?s my theory.

Christina Aguilera recently lost weight, and I assume that means that she got somewhat sober too, which is great for her. She was looking very tipsy and very orange for a long time. She’s still somewhat orange, and she’s still yammering on about how sexy she is. I don’t remember an interview with her in the last few years where she didn’t mention this topic. Wait, I take that back, she did an interview with Matt Lauer a couple of years ago in which she spent the entire time defending herself against allegations that she was an unprofessional mess. Otherwise her go-to topics are being sexy, being naked, going commando and being sexy. That’s why I shouldn’t be surprised that she talked about sex on The Tonight Show Jay Leno, but it still creeped me the hell out. Jay Leno is such a creeper.
Christina Aguilera said she feels ?sexier than ever? ? and certainly backed it up, looking foxy in a sleek black dress ? appearing on Wednesday?s edition of The Tonight Show to promote the upcoming season of The Voice.
?For me, I?m an artist and expressing myself in a sexual way ? no matter how that changes throughout the years ? is something that has always come naturally to me,? the blonde beauty told host Jay Leno. ?At this point of my life, I?m 32 and I feel sexier than ever because you know what you want.?
The What A Girl Wants singer, who recently showed off her svelte form on Maxim?s cover, said the photo shoot for the magazine ?was all about appreciating the woman I?ve become and being effortlessly sexy, not trying too hard.?
She expounded to Leno on a comment she made to the magazine, saying that the only place in her life that she?s passive is, is ?in the bedroom.
?I?m a big micromanager,? she said. ?I?m a stickler about organization, everything needs a place, a purpose and micromanaging myself even when I?m in the studio. So I think every woman should relax and allow herself to be pleased ? it?s the one place I can let go.?

I get that she has to talk about something that will get her headlines, and the sex topic always works. (Case in point.) She’s on the cover of Maxim and these are the things she said in her Maxim interview as well. Aguilera is repeating her talking points. It just comes across as so wrong to me. You say those things to Maxim, not to Jay freaking Leno.
Aguilera is not currently engaged, but there have been rumors that she’s lost weight in preparation for a wedding with her boyfriend, Matt Ruttledge. Thankfully we haven’t heard anything on that front. She probably is in no hurry to get married again. She’s too focused on feeling sexy and free in the bedroom.

The guys make me laugh!”
