Taking their hit show on the road, the stars of ?Modern Family? flew in to Sydney International Airport in Sydney, Australia on Tuesday (February 18).
Joined by her fianc Nick Loeb, Sofia Vergara was in good spirits as she greeted the fans that gathered to welcome her while Sarah Hyland (with boyfriend Matt Prokop), Ed O?Neill, Rico Rodriguez, Nolan Gould, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson all looked to be enjoying the local sights.
Co-creator/producer Steven Levitan, who will direct the vacation episode, explained that they?ll definitely hit up tourist destinations like the Great Barrier Reef.
?We just had to go to Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef since, like Sofia Vergara, it's one of the natural wonders of the world.?
And Queensland Arts Minister Ian Walker couldn?t be happier to have the whole gang in his neighborhood. ?Modern Family is a hugely popular show and it?s very exciting for our tourism industry to know that places like the Great Barrier Reef and Hayman Island will be seen by millions of people right round the world.?
?This coup is a testament to the Government?s commitment to creating local jobs and promoting our screen and tourism industries to the world."

Taking care of her million dollar smile, Sofia Vergara headed to the dentist in Los Angeles on Wednesday (February 12).
The "Modern Family" star wore a purple top, darker purple cropped leggings, and carried a yellow handbag as made her way inside.
Soon, the funny and foxy 41-year-old will team up with Reese Witherspoon to make comedy gold in an upcoming buddy action-comedy.
"Don't Mess with Texas" will follow a police officer and a prisoner who are on the run. Director Anne Fletcher is currently in talks to board the film.

They?re both passionate people so it?s not exactly surprising that Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb found themselves in a heated conversation as they arrived at the Miami International Airport on Saturday (January 25).
While waiting for their chauffeured ride, the ?Modern Family? babe and her fianc seemed agitated with each other and exchanged some tense words as a sneaky shutterbug caught the exchange from afar.
Meanwhile, Sofia and her costars will travel to Australia in February for a two-week shoot of their vacation episode.
Co-creator Steven Levitan shared, ?This one is certainly our most ambitious yet. We promise to feature a kangaroo, a koala and a boomerang. I?m sure there will be lots more, but so far that?s all we know about Australia ? our American school system is a disaster.?

When people who are just casual gossip consumers see Sofia Vergara on the red carpet, they link “holy crap she looks amazing,” and she does. Sofia Vergara knocks it out of the park, almost the same way, in every gown. She practically wears the same gown for every awards ceremony: sweetheart neckline, full skirt, solid color fabric or solid color sequins. It’s hard to shade Sofia Vergara for looking gorgeous, but I would just love to see her mix it up. This silver Donna Karan looks similar to her Golden Globes after party Zac Posen gown. Still, I feel petty for pointing it out when she looks this good.
As much as Sofia stays in her comfort zone, her co-star and friend, Julie Bowen, mixes it up. Julie was in this fashion-forward Carolina Hererra, with a pointed burnt orange bustline, visible stitching, and a line-print skirt. I thought this gown was the perfect mix of modern and classic. It was interesting without being strange. Julie told Giuliana Rancic that her dress was “gorgeous but it?s funky,” and Giuliana of course said she loved it. I’m surprised this is Hererra, because I remember her designs on Renee Zellweger for years, and Renee’s dresses were very staid. Maybe that was just Zellweger’s taste.
Ariel Winter, 15, was in blue white and black Badgley Mischka. I’m so sorry to say this about such a young girl, but the first thing I noticed were her boobs! When Modern Family won for comedy ensemble (the fourth year in a row!), Bowen started off their acceptance speech by saying “we’re going to make Sofia talk because America loves her and her boobs.” When she said that I got confused about whom she was referring to, because Bowen was standing right next to Ariel Winter. I’m sorry! And I’m sorry to my friends who have teenage daughters.
Oh, and I found it ridiculous when Sofia said “I can’t barely speak English” during her speech. She needs to lose that shtick. They should have let Ty Burrell do the honors since he gave such an awesome funny speech when he finally won for male actor in a comedy series.
Sarah Hyland, 23, was in a kind of boring bell-shaped pale Pamela Roland gown. There were a lot of neutral solids on the red carpet last night, and Bedhead will be doing more for you shortly. At least Hyland’s styling was much better than we saw at the Globes, where she had giant dark eyebrows. At the SAGs, she had lovely sideswept hair and flattering makeup.

Never one to miss out on a swanky affair, Sofia Vergara got all gussied up and made her way to the 71st Golden Globes on Sunday evening (January 12).
The ?Modern Family? star couldn?t wait to show off her designer getup for the fans and paparazzi gathered outside the Beverly Hilton ahead of the much-hyped event.
Before the night is over, a whole host of winners will be announced from a vast field of deserving nominees.
