Teaming up for their brand new movie, Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise have been side-by-side on the set of “Wichita” over the past few days.
Looking yummy in yellow, the “Shrek” sweetheart shared a heartfelt moment with her “Top Gun” co-star in between shooting a kidnapping scene.
A plot synopsis of the movie via IMDB tells: “Unaware that her blind date is a federal agent, a woman is subsequently pulled into a globe-spanning attempt to protect the key element to a infinite power source.”
Directed by James Mangold, the action/comedy film is set for a July, 2010 release date.

Getting started on her latest project, Cameron Diaz was out shooting scenes for her new movie “Witchita” in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday (September 21).
The “Shrek” sweetheart looked in her typical cheerful mood, surrounded by set workers as she got into character for the day’s duties.
According to IMDB, a movie synopsis tells: “Unaware that her blind date is a federal agent, a woman is subsequently pulled into a globe-spanning attempt to protect the key element to a infinite power source.”
Co-starring Tom Cruise and directed by James Mangold, the action/comedy flick is due to hit theaters on July 2, 2010.

Tuesday night, Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz stopped by (via video hookup) Jay Leno?s suckfest new show. Cruise and Diaz are about to start working on Witchita, their first film together since 2001?s Vanilla Sky. Is it weird that I generally like Cameron and Tom together? They seem to have a genuine friendship, and they really do seem to enjoy each other?s company. Anyway, because Cameron has the sense of humor of a 13-year-old boy, the conversation swung to strips clubs and sex - thankfully not farts, body odor and poop, Cameron?s other favorite subjects. Now, all of this TMI isn?t really Cameron?s fault, but I have to blame someone:
Jay Leno introduced a new segment on his talk show Tuesday night called “Ten @ Ten,” in which the host “makes house calls” to celebrities and asks them 10 random questions.
Speaking via satellite from the Worcester, Mass. set of their new movie “Wichita” was Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz.
The actors, who previously co-starred in “Vanilla Sky,” were game to answer anything from their guilty pleasures, fast food preferences and strip club visits.
When asked who spends more time in the make-up chair, Diaz sarcastically joked, “Please, do I look like I wear rouge?”
“Clearly me, Jay,” joked Cruise.
Cruise, 47, also denied ever going to a strip club, resulting in the audience booing the actor.
“I never have been. Sorry to disappoint you,” he answered. “I swear, if I went I would say, ?Jay, yeah of course, I went.”
The actor also showed off his musical chops by singing a line from Stevie Wonder’s hit song, “Isn’t She Lovely,” a tune he sings when putting his 3-year-old daughter, Suri, to bed.
Diaz, 37, admitted her guilty TV pleasure is watching all the “Real Housewives” shows, whereas Cruise sticks to ESPN.
Leno finished the segment by asking the most uncomfortable question for Cruise: “What are you better at? Flying or sex?”
“I try to excel in all areas and I’ve never been asked for a refund,” he answered. “[Sex with me] is like flying.”
TMI, Tom. TMI.

Yeah, I totally believe Tom has never been in a strip club (?What?s that smell? Is that a tuna melt??). What I don?t buy is that Tom has never been involved in any kind of sex-refund situation. But that?s the kicker, isn?t it? Tom says he has never been asked for a refund. No mention of whether he has asked for a refund. I?m not saying Tom Cruise has hired a string of male prostitutes to service his ?Little Xenu?, I?m just saying that if he did, and he wasn?t happy with the service, he would ask for a refund. And by the way, when I first read the transcript, I read ?Flying or sex? as ?flying oral sex? - which totally sucked.

Out for quite the worthwhile cause, Cameron Diaz observed the anniversary of the September 11th tragedies by helping erect a fence on the nation’s first National Day of Service and Remembrance in Boston on Friday.
The “Shrek” sweetie was joined by members of the Boston Celtics, City Year and Harvard Pilgrim Health as volunteers at the Young Achievers Pilot School.
Talking about watching Cameron get to work on the fence project, Celtics spokesman Christian Megliola told press: “She wasn’t messing around. She dug right in. And she was very gracious.”
Aside from her charitable endeavors, Miss Diaz in on the east coast readying to shoot “The Untitled Wichita Project” with Tom Cruise next week in Worcester.

Hard at work on her new movie, Cameron Diaz teamed up with Seth Rogen to shoot their upcoming movie “The Green Hornet” in Los Angeles on Saturday (September 5).
According to a source on-hand, Diaz and Rogen shot a scene in which an explosion went off during a press conference before the two were rushed frantically to their car.
As for the movie, a synopsis of “The Green Hornet” via IMDB tells: “By night, debonair newspaper publisher Britt Reid fights crime as a masked superhero known as The Green Hornet. At his side is martial arts expert Kato.”
Directed by Michel Gondry and also starring Nicolas Cage, you can catch “The Green Hornet” when it’s released in theaters on December 17, 2010.

Cameron Diaz posed with her surfboard at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday with co-stars Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin from My Sister’s Keeper. But only for half the pictures. Her co-stars seemed to disappear for the other half. With good reason. May I direct your eyes from her beautiful face to her armpits? They were pretty much gushing sweat at that point. A baby could drown under there. I can see why she’s a famous movie actress now.

She’s always up for a swanky meal out, and last night (August 9) Cameron Diaz was spotted over at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
The “There’s Something About Mary” actress looked lovely as she hopped into a car with her “What Happens in Vegas” co-star Lake Bell and headed off into the night.
Earlier in the evening, Cameron was spotted over at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City for the 2009 Teen Choice Awards.
And as always, Miss Diaz was looking top-shelf, sporting a grey side-zip dress teamed with a pair of blue open-toed heels.

She’s one of the hottest ladies in Hollywood, and Cameron Diaz recently received an impromptu proposal by one of her admiring fans.
During a panel discussion for her new film “The Box” at the San Diego Comic-Con, the “There’s Something About Mary” starlet was caught off guard by an overzealous fan’s proposal.
An unidentified man from the crowd of thousands shouted out, “Will you marry me?” Diaz responded, “Yes! Where are you? Why not?”
However, Cameron had one very specific stipulation- “Can we get married in Vegas? I’ve always wanted to get married in Vegas.”

Returning home from an overseas trip, Cameron Diaz was spotted arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Thursday (July 23).
Having spent a little time in London, the “Shrek” sweetheart strolled through the terminal in casual clothes topped off with a grey scarf.
Meanwhile, it sounds as if Miss Diaz is a bit hesitant to take on the reprisal of the lead role in “Sound of Music” - for which she’s the leading contender.
She said: “I don’t know if I would do it because that is one of those awe-striking moments. Julie is amazing and I don’t know if I could follow an act like that.”
Continuing on about the original lead for Maria, Julie Andrews, Diaz added: “I got the opportunity to work with her on two of the ‘Shrek’ movies. I got to spend some time with her during the promotional tour and she is just the epitome of grace and elegance.”
