It seems slow today, or maybe Kaiser is just on top of things as usual, so I thought I might cover these amusing photos of Mischa Barton shopping at Target. She looks pretty normal, for her, in that her outfit isn’t wildly clashing, incredibly too short, both, poorly cut, made out of some weird material or some deadly combination of all those fashion missteps. We’ve really only talked about Mischa lately for her terrible fashion or her “wisdom tooth surgery” breakdown, which was as short-lived as her last television series.
So it’s nice to see Mischa out at Target looking like normal annoyed shopper with bad hair. She was buying plastic storage boxes and cleaning supplies. She wore a canary yellow a-line skirt with a skinny brown belt and a dingy white tank top. For her, it really wasn’t bad. But then I scrolled down and saw her black studded flats. I think my mom bought me that style shoe in fifth grade in the 80s and I refused to wear them.
The photo agency had details of Mischa’s planned “fashion line” to go along with her awful headbands and purses. Please see any of the links above or any of these photos for evidence why Mischa shouldn’t have her own fashion line. People joke that Jessica Simpson shouldn’t be so successful in fashion since she can’t dress properly, but Mischa takes fug to new levels. I guess this news came out a month ago but we never really heard about it, since it’s Mischa. She told Vogue.co.uk. “It’s something I really want to do. It’ll be forties-meets-seventies with the occasionally bit of twenties - that sounds a bit random, but I’ll take elements of different decades. It’ll be a bit like Biba, but with a real simplicity of cut and lots of bright colours. The fabrics will be great quality, and there will be lots of separates, like slacks and shirts. I want people to be able to mix and match.” Again, Mischa herself lacks the ability to mix, match, use decent fabric or chose outfits that are cut simply or well. I would say that Mischa doesn’t have much else going on, but a glance at IMDB shows she has parts in a bunch of movies out this year that will probably go straight to DVD.

Stepping out for a swanky evening, Mischa Barton was spotted arriving at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Antibes, France today (May 19).
The ?Beautiful Life? babe looked lovely in a black strapless floor-length gown as she posed with a male friend at Hotel du Cap Eden-Roc.
Every year, the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala is the hottest party of the Cannes Film Festival schedule, and this year the event chairs include Janet Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Gwen Stefani, and Beyonce Knowles.
Since 1993, Cinema Against AIDS events around the world have raised nearly $60 million for lifesaving AIDS research.

This should be filed under “Haha, yea right.” Mischa Barton, former star of the OC and then the psyche ward after being 5150?d, says she has no plans to return to tv because she’s on a break looking after herself.
?TV is not something that I’m looking at right now for a second, just because I’m really at a restful place in my life. I’m really just taking my downtime. I’ve seen a lot of other girls who just kept going and kind of spazzed out and I’m just really grateful to be settled right now and not working and not doing anything but working on myself.
?I just feel really blessed with a convergence of really good things going on right now so I’m not in a rush to do a project. I think television is gruelling and this year there’s been such an uproar with, like, the Charlie Sheens of actors – well, I think he’s amazing .
?I just think it’s not the time for me to be on television. I’ll just a wait a second on it, but I do like TV. It’s a good forum.?
My eyes rolled so hard they almost detached from my head. This isn’t a voluntary sabbatical. This is no one wanting to hire Mischa. This is exactly what unemployed people tell their friends. They say they’re just “finding” themselves all while rifling through your fridge for leftover pizza. You can bet after this, Mischa asked the reporter for some spare change for a taxi because she forgot her purse at home.

Taking care of some overseas promotion, Mischa Barton was spotted at the Russian premiere of ?You and I? today (January 26).
The ?Beautiful Life? actress looked to be having fun as she posed for the paparazzi at the Moscow event.
Mischa celebrated her 25th birthday this past Monday (January 24), the same day she did a photo call for the film.

The former ?O.C? babe, who is currently promoting ?You and I,? looked beautiful in a long-sleeved frock as she answered questions about the film and posed for pictures.
In other news, In Touch recently reported that Ms Barton is interested in going on the popular ABC show, ?Dancing With the Stars.?
A source said, "Mischa watches the show religiously, and she thinks she can hold her own and maybe even win it. She likes the idea of being on a top-rated show, too."

Making for a sour experience, Mischa Barton and boyfriend DJ Ali Love were pulled over by police after allegedly throwing unidentified items out of their cab window on Wednesday (January 5).
Looking worse for wear, the couple left a hotel together before hopping into a black cab to make their way to the next stop.
Unfortunately for the cabbie, Mischa and her man were feeling mischievous and tossed unknown objects from the car - which led the driver to being stopped by the cops.
According to an onlooker, the police had a word with the cab driver before letting them go on their way.

Looking a bit worn out from a late night on the town, a bare-faced Mischa Barton was spotted in West Hollywood, CA on Sunday (October 18).
The former "OC" star happened to be heading back home after watching South African hip-hop band Die Antwoord perform at the Music Box.
On the career end of things, Mischa has been on a bit of a hiatus after her most recent TV gig failed to draw enough viewers to stick around.
Having her battles with depression, as well, the 24-year-old recently said, "As much as I get down, I'm an upbeat person. People always think of me as kind of a light in a room. I love to make people laugh."
Barton went on to reveal that she relies of books and music to help keep her emotions in check.

Always up for a fun-filled event, Mischa Barton attended an exclusive ?Simply Stylist? party in West Hollywood, California on Monday evening (October 11).
The former ?OC? babe looked glamorous in a black velvet ensemble as she posed for pictures during the posh Caro Marketing event.
Aside from her nightlife loving nature, the 24-year-old actress recently filmed an episode for the ?Fearne and?.? show and is none too pleased with the way Fearne Cotton portrayed her.
Barton told, ?I think that Fearne Cotton's show is a joke and she's a joke. I can't hear Fearne's name without seeing red, because it seems to me that she just wants to further her career by talking about young actresses and not in a particularly positive way.?
She added, ?I cried my eyes out when I first saw it because I was like: 'Are you kidding me? This is the way you want to portray me? I've let you into my life.''

The ?Beautiful Life? actress attended the Glamour Party in honor of Diane Von Furstenburg, and was accompanied by DJ Ali Love.
Miss Barton was previously said to have broken up with Mr. Love, though their date last night would seem to point to the contrary.
An inside source recently claimed, ?He (Ali) wasn?t ready to be a celebrity. He was expecting they?d get some attention, but he never imagined it would be as bad as it was. He values his privacy and couldn?t deal with photographers following them around or the nasty comments people would make on blogs. So he finally told Mischa it would be better if they stopped dating.?
