They?re both huge names in the entertainment business, and last night (August 28) Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears were in attendance at the House of Hype VMA Awards after party.
The ?Toxic? mommy and the ?Zoey 101? star both hired babysitters in favor of getting in some sisterly bonding at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills.
And it sounds like it was quite a shindig- Katy Perry was honored for her awesomeness during the course of the night.
Additionally, Jamie Foxx gave a special performance, and stars like Akon, Malin Ackerman, Rose McGowan, and Emma Roberts all showed up.

She certainly has stayed out of the spotlight for quite some time, but the paparazzi finally caught up to Jamie Lynn Spears on Friday (November 26).
Clad in short-shorts and a pair of moon boots with knee length gym socks, the former ?Zoey 101? star looked rather serious as she was spotted heading into a friend?s house in Kentwood, Louisiana.
In recent news, earlier this month it was reported that Ms Spears and baby daddy, Casey Aldridge, called it quits on their relationship again.
A source told press, "Jamie Lynn got fed up with Casey's immature behaviour. She thought he'd changed - that's why she got back together with him. But he's still the same old guy."

Britney Spears‘ younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears has dumped the father of her baby, three months after reigniting their romance.
The former Zoey 101 actress, 19, fell pregnant with Casey Aldridge’s child in 2007 and gave birth to daughter Maddie in June 2008.
The couple announced plans to wed before calling off the engagement and splitting earlier this year (10), but was reported to have reunited in August (10) after attending a Lady Gaga concert together.
However, Jamie Lynn Spears has ended her relationship with 21-year-old Aldridge once again, according to America’s Star magazine.
A source tells the publication, “Jamie Lynn got fed up with Casey’s immature behaviour. She thought he’d changed – that’s why she got back together with him. But he’s still the same old guy.”

Now that she’s split from Casey Aldridge, Jamie Lynn Spears is having to deal with all kinds of drama surrounding the custody of her daughter Maddie Briann.
And of course, Aldridge is looking to make a tidy sum off of his famous ex-girlfriend as he takes her to court.
An insider told press, “Casey’s mom was overheard saying that if he wants financial stability, then he should fight for custody so Jamie Lynn would have to pay him child support. His family told him he could be another Kevin Federline and rake in the cash by being a stay-at-home dad!”
However, Jamie Lynn isn’t having it. “No way would she ever give in. Jamie Lynn might even be willing to pay Casey just to keep him out of her and Maddie’s lives. Casey is asking to have Maddie every other weekend now, and I hear that’s all he wants! He’s having fun with his freedom.”

Making the trip home to Mississippi, Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted arriving at LAX Airport in Los Angeles, California earlier today (February 20).
The “Zoey 101” star paid no attention to the paparazzi as she was busy fumbling around her ID and cell phone while dad, Jamie, carried his grand-daughter, Maddie Briann, through the terminal.
On Wednesday, Jamie Lynn enjoyed some sisterly bonding with big sis, Britney Spears; the two were spotted grabbing a bite to eat in Hollywood, CA.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, the younger Spears has ended her two-year relationship with baby daddy, Casey Aldridge and word has it, moved on to 28-year-old Louisianan, James Watson.

Chilling out with her dad Jamie and daughter Maddie, Jamie Lynn Spears was spotted out and about in Kentwood, Louisiana earlier this week (February 9).
The “Zoey 101” babe looked cute and casual as she walked back to her car, sporting a black leather jacket with a grey top, black leggings, and black leather boots.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, Jamie Lynn has ditched her babydaddy Casey Aldridge and is now hooking up with James Watson, who is 10 years older than her.
An insider told press, “She’s going through a lot of changes. It has been painful. She’s a young mother and struggling in a lot of areas. She did a lot of growing up but he didn’t. I think she put up with more than she cared to put up with. She just got enough of it and was tired of the situation.”

Making big changes in her life, Jamie Lynn Spears showed off a big smile as she ran around Kentwood, Louisiana on Monday (February 8).
The little sister of Britney Spears was out grabbing up lunch at Sonic Burger with her father, Jamie Spears, before the two made their way back home.
As previously reported by Gossip Center, the “Zooey 101” starlet (18) has sent her babydaddy packing (they have a 19-month old daughter Maddie together) and has taken up with 28-year-old James Watson, a well-off businessman.
According to a close friend, “They started dating last December. I don’t think James cares at all about who she is; they really seem to like each other.”
As for Spears’ relationship with Casey, “Even when she was pregnant, she didn’t really see a future with him. She only gave the impression of staying with him so long because it looked better in the eyes of the public.”

In 2008, we heard plenty of stories about how Jamie Lynn Spears’ baby daddy and fiance, Casey Aldridge, was fooling around with other women behind her back. Multiple women spoke to the tabloids with stories about how Aldridge was wooing them while Spears was either pregnant with Aldridge’s baby or had just given birth to their daughter Maddie, now one and a half. Then there were the inevitable stories that Jamie Lynn had kicked Casey out and called off the wedding, followed by a cover story with Casey and Jamie Lynn in OK! titled “I’m No Cheater.” Both of them were just teens at the time, so it wasn’t surprising that Casey was fooling around.
Casey and Jamie Lynn seemed to reunite for a while, although there were stories last summer that they were calling off their engagement and breaking up. The last time they were spotted together was in November at a Broadway show in NY. It looks like Jamie Lynn has put all the drama behind her and has moved on, though. Star Magazine reports that Jamie Lynn, 18, is dating a 28 year-old businessman from nearby Louisiana. She currently lives in Mississippi with Maddie:
A source tells Star exclusively that Jamie Lynn, 18, has moved on to 28-year-old James Watson, a well-to-do Louisiana businessman.
“They first met nearly a year ago, and their friendship turned to romance as they grew closer,” said the source. “They started dating last December. I don’t think James cares at all about who she is; they really seem to like each other.”
James owns a company called Advanced Multimedia Partners. “He installs communication equipment and high-definition TVs for large corporations,” the source tells Star. “James enjoys making money - and he enjoys spending it too. He’s always throwing money around at the bars, buying drinks for everyone.”
But you won’t find Jamie Lynn in James’ company at the local watering holes, says the source. “They try to keep their distance when they’re out in public.” But they’re joined at the hip whenever they go to their buddies’ house parties in Hammond or in her hometown of Kentwood.

Star goes on to say that Jamie Lynn is thinking about moving to LA to restart her acting career. She starred on the Disney Channel show Zoey 101 before her much-publicized teen pregnancy. Apart from doing the rounds to show off her cute baby, we haven’t heard much from Jamie Lynn. There was news that she was planning a country music career but not much seems to have come of that. I tend to think that she’s happy to live a low key life in Mississippi and isn’t about to re-enter the spotlight. We’ll see, though.
