These are photos of Alex Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth from the weekend. Now, I know there is a small but concerted Kate Bosworth fan base. I have felt their wrath before, often when I?m making fun of her smug-face. Even though I know I risk offending them, I do have to ask, once again: what?s the appeal? She?s a crappy actress, she thinks she?s some ground-breaking fashion girl (when really she?s just one of many interchangeable blondes), and her face is incapable of emoting anything other than ?smug? or ?bitch? faces. So why is she so smug? Is it just because she dated Orly Bloom for several years, and now she?s dating Alexander Skarsgard? Orly is no prize (don?t hate me Orly-loonies), but if I knew what Skarsdong tasted like (ice cream?), I would be smug too. But the thing is, I don?t even think they look hot together. Alex smolders everywhere, except with his on-again girlfriend, who clings to him with some mysterious asexual force. I thought they were broken up. I felt it. But I was wrong. Smug-face clings, and she will not look the least bit sexy while clinging. And Alex lets her.
So are we over Alex? After playing with our hearts and minds with the news of their alleged breakup, we?re back where we started: Alex and Smug-face, forever. It?s like Alex doesn?t know how much better he could do. Or he thinks Smuggy is some kind of prize. All in all, it makes me think less of him, and my opnion of him has been dwindling for months now. I?m at the point now where I don?t want to have my heart broken one more time. At some point, we just have to acknowledge that he’s that guy, the dude who dates bad, douchey women because that’s his type, and he would rather have a girlfriend who is a famewhore poseur than a relationship with someone interesting.
By the way, the other dude in these photos is Alex?s ?little? brother.

Getting in some quality time together, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard were spotted out on a date last night (October 17).
The ?Blue Crush? babe and her ?True Blood? beau hit up a local movie theater in Los Angeles as the paparazzi looked on.
The day before, Ms. Bosworth was in the house to cheer for her man as he accepted two awards at the 2010 Spike TV Scream Awards.
Prior to that, Kate kept herself busy with a photo shoot, to which she carried a plethora of shopping bags.

Though they made sure to avoid being photographed together, Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth both turned up at The Esquire House in Los Angeles on Friday night (October 15).
On-hand for the locale's grand opening, the "True Blood" hunk and his "21" actress lady pitched in to raise funds to benefit the International Medical Corps at the Sienna Miller hosted fete.
While Kate took time to work the arrivals carpet, Alex skipped out on the photo op as he chatted it up with Esquire associate publisher Stephen Jacoby, as well as actor pal Joel Kinnaman and his younger brother Gustaf Skarsgard.
Prior the the Tinseltown party, Miss Bosworth was spotted by paparazzi as she loaded up on new duds at the Madewell shop on Melrose.

Getting all dolled up for a stylish night on the town, Sienna Miller and Kate Bosworth were among the stars out at The Esquire House in Los Angeles, California on Friday evening (October 15).
The two beautiful blonde actresses happened to be partaking in the Grand Opening of Esquire House LA to benefit International Medical Corps.
With Miss Miller acting as host of the grand opening, the venue was constructed to draw charitable fetes while boasting 9,000-square-feet of the newest construction concepts at a pricetag of $18.9 million.
As for the night's beneficiary, International Medical Corps is "an organization dedicated to saving lives and relieving suffering through health care training and relief and development programs."

The ?True Blood? stud and the ?21? cutie looked to be having a marvelous time as they munched on gourmet eats during their romantic date.
The previous night, Kate and Alex were in the house at the Wiltern Theater to take in the Broken Bells concert, along with a capacity crowd.
Alex recently paid a visit to his hometown of Stockholm, Sweden where he reconnected with some friends.
Prior to that, Mr. Skarsgard was in Munich, Germany for some international promotional opportunities.

She?s giving the paparazzi a look too, in some of these photos. Like, ?Are you getting this? This is my boyfriend!? I have to admit, even Jessica Biel does a better job pretending that she didn?t call the paparazzi on herself. With Kate, it?s written all over her face how much she wanted to be photographed. But it just seems more and more like he totally didn?t know what he was getting involved with when he got with Kate. It makes me feel for him.
Of course, I am totally open to the idea that she?s his beard. After watching that video of him writhing around with that dude, I?m totally open to it. I?d rather him be gay that be into The Bos.

Looking to boost the SoCal economy, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard were spotted shopping in Beverly Hills yesterday (July 11).
The ?Blue Crush? babe and the ?True Blood? hunk were accompanied by the director of VIP services at the Burberry store.
From there, Kate and Alex headed over to Bristol Farms where they picked up a few grocery items before heading home.
Mr. Skarsgard recently returned from Honolulu, Hawaii where he was working on ?Battleship? with director Peter Berg.

Continuing to spend much of their free time together, Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard stepped out in Los Angeles, California over the weekend.
The pair made their way over to the popular Capitol City Sports Bar and Lounge on Saturday (June 26), trying their best to sneak by the pesky paparazzi following their every move.
As for the occasion, Miss Bosworth and Mr Skarsgard were on-hand to watch the World Cup action going on in South Africa.
Making for a disappointing moment, the twosome seemed a bit sullen upon leaving the local sports bar - as the USA ended up losing to Ghana in a knockout round match by a 2-1 score in overtime.
