Celine Dion sang the tribute song, Smile, to the people we lost this year and of course they left out Corey Haim and put in a bunch of screenwriters, agents and industry people most of us have never heard of. (Props for using pictures and footage of people smiling with the nice send off of Kevin McCarthy toasting at the end.) That’s another issue, but Celine looked incredibly banging in this ethereal silver Armani Prive after having twins just four months ago. Giuliana Rancic, who has cited Rachel Zoe as her pregnant thinspiration, was practically drooling over Celine’s post baby figure during E!’s red carpet coverage. Dimwit Kelly Osbourne initially thought that it was Penelope Cruz, not Celine, who had just given birth to twins and Giuliana had to school her about it. Maybe that’s because Penelope still looks juicy and hot post-birth while Celine quickly went back to her pin thin self.
That’s not to say that Celine is anything but sublime in this dress. Celine is working those nursing boobs, and I love that gorgeous jewel nestling in her cleavage. You know that necklace is worth seven figures. This is how you do pale metallic, and while Goopy got a lot of compliments for her dress I thought it was too boxy on her figure. Celine’s somehow makes her look curvy despite how tiny she is.
I also loved Celine’s soft wavy hair, which was a very nice trend last night, and her bronzed makeup with peach cheeks and lips. She looked amazing, she wasn’t orange and, just like Marisa Tomei, she wasn’t waxy or puffy at all. Celine is everything the Oscars weren’t this year - elegant, classic and graceful.

She?s been taking care of her newborn twins as of late, but yesterday (February 16) Celine Dion was given a fabulous Homecoming reception as she returned to Las Vegas.
The ?It?s All Coming Back To Me? songstress was joined by her hubby Rene Angelil, son Rene-Charles, and twins Nelson and Eddie.
Ms. Dion is returning to the Caesars Palace Entertainment Complex for a three-year residency following her maternity leave.
Of his uber-famous wife, Rene told press, "She barely sleeps but remains radiant. Celine is a force of nature."

Celine Dion has made her triumphant return to Las Vegas! These photos are from her welcoming party/ceremony at Caesars Palace, where she happily showed off her four-month-old babies, Eddy and Nelson. I love how these photos have the vibe of an official visit by a head of state. It?s like, ?Queen Celine returns home to her emirate, Las Vegas.? I also love how orange Rene Angelil is - he looks like a big carrot. The babies are adorable, though. The one that Celine is holding is all ?Jimminy Crickets, FLASH!!!?
Celine Dion was seen yesterday at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where she came to begin rehearsals for her high-profile show set to debut March 15 at The Colosseum, and she did not come alone.
Dion came with her 4-month-old twins Eddy and Nelson in tow, along with her husband and manager Rene Angelil and her 9-year-old son, Rene-Charles. The Daily Mail reports that the twins wore matching blue baby grows and white hats. The twins were cradled in their parents arms as they posed for fans and photographers at the steps of the hotel and casino.
Dion has revealed previously that she was originally supposed to have triplets this month, but lost one of the babies early in the pregnancy. The names of the twins are significant for the singer and her husband. Eddy is named after Eddy Mornay, the producer who worked on Dion’s first five albums.
Mornay was like a father to Dion. A rep of the couple said, “Eddy is a major influence in both Celine and Rene’s lives.”
Meanwhile, Nelson Mandela was the inspiration for their other twin’s name.
“Rene said that in just the few minutes they were able to spend with him, they were impressed by the human being he is,” the rep continued. “Celine and Rene want their children to be inspired by their names, because they were so inspired by these men,” the rep added.

So Queen Celine is back in her homeland, being paid buckets of money on a daily basis to sing her heart out. And she comes back home bringing two new princes to the queendom, hallelujah! Seriously, I?m really happy for Celine, and those babies are gorgeous. Oh, and Celine?s nursing boobs look gorge too. All hail!

Celine Dion has just revealed her twin baby boys Nelson and Eddy to Hello Magazine and People Magazine this week. Celine got the full Hello cover - and only a sidebar for People, who must have worked around the clock on their Elizabeth Edwards cover story. Anyway, Celine?s fraternal boys look like? babies. They?re only like five weeks old - you can barely tell what they?re going to look like at this point. But Celine gave a great interview? and I just love her. I want the best for her. She deserves it.
Cline Dion takes PEOPLE all over her Jupiter Island, Fla., mansion for a collection of intimate photos with 6-week-old fraternal twins Eddy and Nelson in our new issue, on newsstands Friday. Lounging on the porch, in the pool, in the family bed ? the twins, born Oct. 23, are getting more than comfy their new home, as Dion and husband Ren Anglil celebrate their expanded family after six difficult rounds of IVF.
The couple’s older son, Ren-Charles, 9, also seems thrilled with his new siblings, cradling them in a mound of red pillows in one photo.
In the story, Dion talks about the pregnancy, birth, life with the newborns and her plans for easing into rehearsals for her new Las Vegas show, which kicks off March 15.
“The love and what I feel inside, what we have accomplished ? I don’t know how to put it into words,” Dion says. “It’s bigger than life itself.”
?They?re so cute, it?s incredible,? said Celine. ?When we look at them we can?t believe it, and to have them here at home ? it?s all we could wish for.?
The boys, who were born when Celine was 35 weeks pregnant, were in a neonatal intensive unit for several days, but they have all since returned to their home in Florida.
?They?re feeding every two hours now,? said Celine. ?It?s going well. I don?t get a lot of sleep, yes, for sure I?m tired, but that?s what I want.?
Celine, 42, also spoke about the heartbreak of having originally being pregnant with triplets.
?For a week we thought we had triplets, but sadly on the next visit to the doctors we only heard two heartbeats,? she revealed.
?That little baby decided to leave the space for the two others and to say goodbye to us. It happened very early during the pregnancy. But still, it shocks you.?
Before this pregnancy, Celine and Rene had spent years trying for a sibling for their nine-year-old son Rene-Charles. Celine endured six rounds of IVF and suffered a miscarriage.
Rene says that the twins arrival was understandably emotional. ?We were crying, he said. ?Even though we didn?t speak to each other, we were both thinking about the time it took [to conceive them].?
The couple also spoke about the names they have chosen for their sons, Eddy and Nelson. ?The idea is to have our sons be inspired by somebody that has the same name,? said Rene, 68, who also has three grown-up children from two previous marriages.
?We met with Nelson Mandela and spent some time with him at his house when we started Celine?s world tour,? he said. ?Eddy is an homage to Eddy Marnay,? he said, referring to the French songwriter who wrote Celine?s first five albums, and had also written for Edith Piaf and Nana Mouskouri.
?He was like a father to me,? said Celine. ?He passed away six years ago. He was such a gentle man, everybody loved him.?

At the end of the day, I still find Nelson and Eddy to be extremely dated and unfashionable names, but at least Celine?s kids don?t have everybody?s else?s name, you know? There are worst things than being named after Nelson Mandela, or someone your mom loved like a father. It?s all good - and I?m glad to see Celine looking so healthy too. Bless her.

Celine Dion gave birth to her twin boys yesterday, Saturday October 23. Celine had been admitted to a Florida hospital early last week to undergo monitoring, with fears that the twins would be born premature. Although Celine claimed she hadn?t planned on getting a C-section (the date for the reported C-section would have been Friday), Celine did end up delivering her babies via C-section a day after the tabloids claimed she would. The babies were born premature, and will have to spend several days (at least) in an incubator. But everyone sounds healthy:
Cline Dion is a mom again ? times two! The singer, 42, gave birth to fraternal twin boys on Saturday at St. Mary?s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., at 11:11 a.m. and 11:12 a.m., her rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.
“Celine, Ren and their son Ren-Charles are thrilled,” says her rep.
One of the babies weighed in at 5 lbs., 4 oz., with the other at 5 lbs., 10 oz.
Dion’s doctor, Ronald Ackerman, said at a press conference outside the hospital Friday evening that the delivery, done via C-section, went as expected. He also revealed that the twins were both born with a good amount of hair.
The twins are healthy, says Dion’s rep, but will spend the next few days in an incubator because they were born premature.
“Celine is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up,” the rep adds. “Ren-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here.”

Celine Dion has been checked into a Florida hospital to prevent the early delivery of her twin boys. The statement released by the hospital makes it sound like this is just a preventive measure to ensure a healthy and successful labor, but I kind of wonder if there?s some other stuff going on. Not anything horrible, mind you, just some indications of early labor, maybe. Or maybe Celine isn?t have quite as healthy a pregnancy as she hoped. Still, it sounds like her doctors are taking good care of her and that everything is under control.
Cline Dion is preparing for the birth of her twin boys by checking into the hospital on the advice of her physicians, the singer’s rep confirms to PEOPLE.
In a statement issued Monday morning, the hospital says, “Ms. Cline Dion has been admitted to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida for observation at the recommendation of her doctors. She has been admitted to prevent the early delivery of her babies, which is the standard of care for any patient with twin pregnancy in this clinical setting.”
The statement makes clear this is a preventive measure, “done to ensure the patient can be in close contact with their doctors and clinical resources, leading up to their birth,” it says.
Last week, Dion’s husband, Ren Anglil, told PEOPLE that, contrary to reports, his wife had not scheduled a C-section to deliver her twins on Oct. 22 ? nor had she made outrageous demands of the hospital.
“There is nothing scheduled,” he said. “We do not have a date” for the babies’ birth.

Didn?t something similar happen when Angelina Jolie was pregnant with twins? There were concerns, so she checked into the hospital several weeks early and she got to chill out and wait. Plus, isn?t it quite normal for twins to come a little early? Like, a few weeks early. Whatever.
Anyway, I hope Celine is doing well and I hope everything goes great with the babies. I kind of love Celine, she brings more goodness to the world than most celebrities, and she?s been incredibly honest and forthright about her fertility issues, so I really hope everyone is healthy and happy. We haven’t heard from Celine Dion in some time. She’s still pregnant after many heartbreaking attempts, and her husband lets us know that she’s healthy and doing well. She isn’t even in the hospital, contrary to reports, and is a full seven months into her pregnancy. Celine and her husband Rene Angelil confirm that she’s having twin boys! In May they announced that they were expecting twins and now they’re confirming a story from Star that they’re having twin boys! Good for them. The boys will join Celine and Rene’s son, Rene-Charles, 9. It’s thought that the twins were conceived using embryos left over from when Celine underwent IVF for Rene ten years ago.
Celine Dion ? and the twin boys she is expecting in November ? are just fine, thank you very much.
Recent reports in a French tabloid claiming that the singer was rushed to the hospital following pregnancy complications are “completely fabricated,” Dion’s rep tells PEOPLE.
“She’s never been in the hospital ? her pregnancy continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic.”
In fact, Dion has so far gained 33 lbs., and has continued with the acupuncture treatments she has credited with helping her have a successful pregnancy.
Dion, 42, who will return to Las Vegas for a new show at Caesars Palace next year, has been following doctors’ orders to take it easy as she heads into her final two months.
“As with most women expecting multiples, her doctor wants her to stay off her feet as much as possible as she finishes her pregnancy,” says her rep.
During what has been a very joyful time, Dion and husband/manager Rene Angelil were distressed by the reports of complications.
“They’ve gotten calls from friends worried that something is wrong. To be so happy and then to get these calls, it’s been upsetting for them when they are in such a good place,” says her rep.
“Their son Rene-Charles started the new school year last week, Celine’s feeling great, and she and Rene are excited to meet the twins ? they just can’t wait.”

The last time we heard from Celine was June, when she said that she was exhausted and felt like she had been pregnant for over a year. It sounds like things are picking up for her especially now that she’s in the home stretch. Those boys are going to have a lot of love around them. They’re also going to have an awesome place to play when they get older. Check out the huge waterpark at Celine and Rene’s estate in Florida. It’s got one of those “lazy river” type circular pools with a current that carries you around. Can you imagine?
Congratulations to Renee and Celine and we’ll surely be seeing photos of those babies in time for their first Christmas.

Back at the end of May, Celine Dion announced that she and Rene Angelil were expecting twins. Celine has had struggles with IVF and has had one miscarriage, all of which she has been completely open about with the press. Her honesty about her and Rene?s struggles to conceive (for the second time) have always been so refreshing to me - she puts herself out there, while still being very classy about it. She makes you want to root for her. Star Magazine seems to want to root for her too - they are announcing - with no Celine-camp confirmation - that Celine is expecting twin boys:
Celine Dion is going to be surrounded by men! The “My Heart Will Go On” singer, who announced she’s expecting twins in November, is going to have two boys, Star has learned exclusively.
In May, Celine ? who already has a 9-year-old son, Ren-Charles, with husband Ren Anglil, 68 ? announced that she’s pregnant with two bundles of joy thanks to her sixth attempt at in-vitro fertilization.
Despite being in the older range of expectant moms ? she’s 42 ? Celine recently said that her pregnancy has been pretty typical.
“The first two months I really felt the classical symptoms ? the morning sickness, hot flashes, nausea,” said the 42-year-old Canadian. “In a certain way, that reassured me, like a sign that my pregnancy was progressing. Now, everything is falling into place. I have a little belly.”
Celine also said that the entire family is readying for their new additions, but there’s one thing they won’t need: nannies!
“Too many people in the house disorient children,” said Celine, who has said she’ll turn to family if she needs help. “My only task is to make my children happy. And too bad if the house sometimes becomes a mess.”

Is this true? Twin boys? It could be. There?s a 33% chance Star is right. The only thing that makes me think that Star got the inside scoop on this is that Star got the inside scoop on John Travolta and Kelly Preston?s pregnancy. Maybe Star has sources in some of the offices of fertility/IVF doctors? Maybe. Or maybe Star is just talking out of their asses. I do hope that Celine gets at least one girl, though. You know Celine?s daughter would be AMAZING.

Like a phoenix rising, new life has sprung from the barren wasteland of Celine Dion’s uterus. Despite suffering a miscarriage last November, her turkey baster will go on! Popeater reports the happy news:
Less than a year after suffering a tragic miscarriage, Celine Dion is pregnant again, this time with twins. The singer’s husband, Rene Angelil, told PEOPLE they couldn’t be happier.
“We’re ecstatic,” he said. “Celine is just hoping for a healthy pregnancy. She was hoping for one baby and the news that we are having two is a double blessing.”
According to her publicist, the 42-year-old Dion is 14 weeks pregnant and plans to find out the sex of the babies next month. The five-time Grammy-winning had been going through several rounds of in-vitro fertilization in recent months.
Dion’s miscarriage last year came just months after she announced her pregnancy. She appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show in February to discuss the tragedy.
“It’s life. You know? A lot of people go through this, but it’s not being told because it’s not in the newspaper,” Dion said.
Dion and her husband, 68, who is also her manager, have one son, 9-year-old Rene Charles.
It’s like Ian Malcolm said in Jurassic Park: “Life finds a way.” Even if it has to be beaten out of half-dead sperm from a geriatric and forcibly injected into a past-its-prime uterus, by golly, they’ll MAKE it find a way!

Celine Dion has been open and honest about her struggle to get pregnant at 41. She’s suffered several failed IVF attempts and at least one miscarriage, after she announced an earlier pregnancy at just a few weeks along. Now Celine is pregnant - with twins! - and is 14 weeks along. It’s likely that the twins are from Dion’s own frozen embryos from a full nine years ago, when she went through a grueling six year IVF process to conceive her first child, son Ren-Charles, now nine. Back in December, 2008, Celine confirmed that she was trying to get pregnant and said she was using frozen embryos from the last process. When she was pregnant in August, 2009, (which sadly didn’t take) her doctor confirmed that the pregnancy came from an embryo that was eight years old at the time.
Now that Celine is pregnant she’ll tell you all about it, and about how hard it is. She says she feels like she’s been pregnant for over a year and describes the IVF process as “physically and emotionally exhausting”
For Celine Dion, the sixth time was the charm, but her hope to expand her family was an arduous year-long journey.
“I feel like I’ve been pregnant more than a year,” Dion, 42, whose previous IVF attempts had failed, told the French-language Le Journal de Montreal. “I never gave up. But I can tell you that it was physically and emotionally exhausting.”
“Everyone knows that Celine has guts and is determined,” adds husband, Ren Angelil. “These treatments were truly hard on my wife’s body. It wasn’t simple at all.”
But the perseverance paid off when the couple found out they are expecting twins. “There were truly great emotions after all our efforts,” says the singer.
Those efforts included traveling from her Florida home to New York for months of treatments and also turning to acupuncture from a Montreal-based specialist.
“My doctors had to constantly reassure me. I [wanted] to see the babies,” she says. “Each week I had sonograms. I heard their heart beats.”
Now, having already endured the ups and downs of several in-vitro fertilization attempts, Dion says she’s following her doctors’ orders closely.
“It’s stressful but I’m relaxing. I look at my little belly. I do almost nothing,” she says. “If you tell me I have to stay in bed,
I will stay in bed until November, when the babies are born. To bring them into the world, there’s nothing more important than that. It’s incredible.”
Adds Dion: “We will have a beautiful family nest full of love.”
And though the singer, who plans to kick off a new Las Vegas show next year, says she loves her career, she’s realized that there’s an even higher priority in her life.
“There are no accomplishments bigger than [being a mom]. The trophies and the money, that doesn’t give meaning to life and that doesn’t give you true happiness,” she says. “A baby — yes.”

I love how open and honest Celine is and how she’s sharing how hard it is to conceive. A lot of celebrities show up with a baby or twins after rumors of IVF and never admit the difficult process they went through. I know that’s private, and it’s entirely their business, but by sharing her struggles Celine is helping a lot of us understand what it entails. It doesn’t sound easy, but the result is more than worth it. I hope everything goes smoothly for Celine with this pregnancy and that her family’s prayers have finally been answered.
