A few weeks ago, I was obsessed with the fact that Gisele Bundchen bought a small ?beach cottage? in Miami back in February, when her marriage was falling apart. Gisele is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and it seemed cool to me that Gisele might be in the middle of decluttering her life and trying to live simply, in a humble beach cottage. As it turns out, the cottage will probably be used for business or something, or maybe she just liked it or bought it for someone else. Now it looks like Gisele secretly purchased a much bigger house just across the bay from Tom Brady?s place.
Gisele Bndchen secretly bought an $11.5 million Miami Beach mansion directly across the creek from Tom Brady?s pad, Page Six has exclusively learned. The supermodel splurged on a stunning five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot home that has a nearly direct view of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback?s under-construction manse on Indian Creek Island.
Proving their troubled marriage was already doomed, Bndchen first viewed the mansion on Aug. 16, days before Brady?s shocking 11-day break from the NFL ? which was said to be a last-ditch attempt to save their relationship. She closed on the property on Oct. 6.
?Gisele was actively looking at homes in Miami Beach even before Tom took his break from the NFL, which indicates that she was already done with the marriage and moving on,? a source tells Page Six.
Brady?s in-the-works mansion has a waterfront view of Biscayne Bay, while Bndchen?s new home is in Surfside, almost directly across the narrow waterway also known as Indian Creek.
?You could literally swim from Gisele?s place to Tom?s ? not that they would ? but both homes will include a dock, so it would be very easy for them to co-parent their children while living so close to each other,? the source tells us. The former couple will share joint custody of their kids following their Oct. 28 divorce.
Bndchen?s home sits on a 18,400-square-foot waterfront plot. The property listing states it has soaring 25-foot ceilings, numerous terraces and views of a wide waterway plus Indian Creek Island. It features five bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
It also has a large outdoor pool, home theater, office, gym, playroom and an eat-in kitchen that opens up to a patio. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and features his-and-hers baths. It is located on a private cul-de-sac, offering Bndchen, 42, and their kids, Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 9, more privacy. (The athlete also shares son Jack, 15, with ex Bridget Moynahan.)
Brady, 45, is believed to be keeping their property on Indian Creek Island ? also known as the Billionaire Bunker, an exclusive enclave of wealthy residents including hotel magnate Jeffrey Soffer, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner and activist investor Carl Icahn.

Yeah, if you have hundreds of millions of dollars, this sounds like an okay solution just buy the giant mansion across the bay from your ex-husband, and when it comes time to drop off the kids, tell them to swim to their dad?s house (she would never!). Anyway, Gisele?s real estate moves are kind of interesting, although I?m disappointed that she isn?t really moving into a smallish beach cottage and simplifying her life. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen finalized their divorce last week, and they got the family court judge to sign off on everything last Friday. It seemed shockingly simple and straight-forward, so much so that I felt really sad for Gisele and mad at Tom on her behalf. She did so much to support him, to support his football career for so many years, and I still believe it was Tom?s un-retirement this spring which was the final nail in the coffin of their marriage. She was done after that. They spent the summer mostly apart, she moved out in August/September, and she hired a lawyer soon after. I don?t think Gisele is an angry person, but I bet she feels really hurt that Tom simply didn?t put up much of a fight. A thirteen-year marriage down the drain because Tom thinks he can still play football at an elite level at the age of 45. But Gisele is fine. We know because ?sources close to Gisele? had a lot to say to People:
A source close to Gisele Bndchen says she is doing fine in light of her divorce from Tom Brady, in part because she is accustomed to doing things on her own. With the divorce, Gisele is dealing with issues that have been plaguing her for a long time, a source close to Bndchen tells PEOPLE. The source explains that the split from Brady, 45, was hard at first for Bndchen, 42, but enough time has passed that she is settling in.
The mother-of-two has lived her own life for years while Tom played football so she is not afraid to do things by herself.
Bndchens main focus and priority remain on the children, the source says. Her mood is up and jovial around son Benjamin Rein, 12, and 9-year-old daughter Vivian Lake, who the supermodel shares with Brady. Gisele is great with her children and radiates happiness when either one or both are around, the source says, adding that having them with her has helped her move ahead.
According to the insider, nothing is more important than to Bndchen than the childrens happiness during this time. They will be with both parents and should come out of this in good shape.
A second source tells PEOPLE that Bndchen looked beautiful and seemed fine, when she was spotted shopping with the kids in Miami Beach recently. You would never know she was going through a split from her husband, says the source. Additionally, the source tells PEOPLE that Bndchen is also eager to continue with her own career and interests now that shes legally single. She has a full plate and lots of support.

There are obviously people who are wondering which model or influencer Tom will end up with, but the way Gisele is moving on, some have theorized that she might have someone waiting in the wings. I don?t think Gisele cheated on Tom, mind you. But Gisele is a woman with options and she might have one of those options on the back burner. It will be interesting, no doubt.
Meanwhile, in his first weekend as a divorced single dad, Tom apparently had the kids. Tom took Benjamin and Vivian to Operation BBQ Relief, a sort of hot-food bank in Port Charlotte, Florida. Tom and the kids helped pass out food to people in need, like the people who survived the hurricane. A source dutifully told People: Tom wanted to teach his kids about the importance of community service.? On Friday night, Tom also took the kids to see a movie.

Reportedly, she began the separation process over the summer, and she?s renting (I think) a place in Miami. She left Tom to deal with the back-to-school drama, and she?s left him to organize the running of his household and everything else. Tom is super-salty about it and he?s whining about how Gisele has ?abandoned? him. Gisele also lawyered up before Tom, and according to Page Six, she hired one of the best lawyers in Florida.
Things are getting ?nasty? between Tom Brady and Gisele Bndchen amid their marriage split, sources say. Page Six exclusively revealed Bndchen has hired the top divorce lawyer in Florida to take on Brady as the pair seem to be heading to the end zone.
Insiders say Bndchen hired Tom Sasser, the managing partner of the law firm of Sasser, Cestero & Roy. The West Palm Beach divorce attorney has handled a stable of high-profile clients including Tiger Woods in his divorce with Elin Nordegren.
Sasser also represented Jeff Gordon in his bitter 2003 divorce from wife Brooke which turned into a battle over the NASCAR driver?s net worth, but was ultimately settled.
A source said, ?Things are very nasty between Tom and Gisele because of the lawyers. They are ready for a fight. Tom and Gisele are not battling over the kids, they both want joint custody. But it will take some time to divide their immense wealth and property all over the world.?

Maybe my gut is completely wrong about this, but I genuinely don?t believe this is going to be some long, drawn-out divorce fight. They both have significant financial assets, and sure, it will take a minute to figure out how to divide their real estate. But Gisele is radiating this ?over it? energy and surely Tom?s people are telling him that a drawn-out divorce fight will be awful for his image. My prediction is that we suddenly get some announcement, possibly a few months from now, that everything has been settled quickly and quietly. They?ll make a joint statement and proclaim their love for their children and that?s it. I wonder if my gossip mojo is right about this.

We learned one month ago (almost exactly) that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were and are having big marital problems. We?ve heard that Gisele and Tom were largely apart over the summer, and Gisele apparently moved out of their Tampa home a while ago. She?s renting a place in Miami, and she sees the kids a lot, but Gisele?s absences have forced Tom to do more of the daily parenting. Tom has apparently begged her to come back, to no avail. Despite the fact that sources have sworn up and down that Tom?s un-retirement was not ?the reason? for their marital problems, it?s very clear that everything fell apart the minute Tom made the unilateral decision to play for another year with the Buccaneers. After a month full of Gisele letting the world know that she was done with all of Tom?s BS, it now seems that Tom and Gisele have hired divorce lawyers:

Insiders close to the seven-time Super Bowl champ, 45, and the supermodel, 42, say both are very involved in their children?s lives and would share joint custody in any separation. The couple would likely file for divorce in Florida, as that?s where they are primarily based, legal experts say. Another source who knows the couple confirm they are looking at dividing their assets, which includes a $26 million property portfolio.

While Page Six seems focused on the money, I doubt the financial aspect will be a huge fight. They?ve kept their assets separate for the most part, and clearly, Gisele wants no part of the Tampa real estate. She might not even want the Miami real estate. Meanwhile, People Magazine is more focused on how everything fell apart. People?s sources say that only Gisele has hired a divorce lawyer and Tom is ?trying to figure out what to do and he?s looking to hire a lawyer now too. Here?s what?s been happening behind the scenes:
Sources previously told PEOPLE that a rift between Brady, 45, and Bndchen, 42, began in part when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback decided to return to the NFL earlier this year after a brief, 40-day retirement. Bndchen had looked forward to Brady being more involved in the lives of their children ? son Benjamin Rein, 12, and 9-year-old daughter Vivian Lake, along with Bradys son John Edward, 15, with ex Bridget Moynahan ? in his post-NFL career.
Another source said Bndchen did not like how Brady handled his return to the Buccaneers.
She was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasnt thrilled at all when he went back on that, the source said.
Theyre hitting a rough patch, they added. But I know theyre trying, or at least hes trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better.
Since the start of the 2022 season, Bndchen has not been seen at any of her husbands four games. One source told PEOPLE she has been spending time away from Brady.
Going back to Tampa after the retirement put a strain on the personal side of his life, a source said. Gisele is frustrated and sick of his career coming before their family, who has always supported him.
The couple spending time apart from one another has happened before, the source explained. They decided together that [Brady] would retire, and then he decided by himself that hed come back, the source told PEOPLE. She said theyd talk about it more, but then he came back anyway before they had really talked it all through. Shes a very pros vs cons person, and she sees very few pros to him playing anymore, they continued.

I?m reminded again of Gisele?s Elle interview, which seemed to be perfectly timed for her newly-separated persona. Gisele sounds completely over it in that piece, like she had emotionally and physically detached from Tom and she was ready to focus on herself. She has been over it for months, if not years. Anyway, good for her.

Hurricane Ian is hitting Florida as I write this. There have been evacuations throughout Florida, and the hurricane strengthened to a Category 4 before it made landfall. Earlier this week, seeing the projected path of Ian, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers moved operations from Tampa to Miami. Sources were making a big deal about how Tom Brady was moving his children out of the hurricane?s path too. With no mention of Gisele. Probably because she?s not in Tampa. Gisele and Tom have been living apart, and she?s left him to deal with the kids? daily needs for a month now. I bring all of this up because, according to Page Six, Gisele is currently renting a home in Miami. I wonder if Tom will move into Gisele?s renting home with the kids during the hurricane?
There was ?no cheating? involved in Tom Brady and Gisele Bndchen?s troubled marriage ? but the couple has recently ?grown apart,? according to sources.
One source said, ?There is absolutely no accusation of cheating on either side. Tom and Gisele have recently struggled to make their marriage work and have grown apart.?
The insider added that the the 45-year-old quarterback, who un-retired from the NFL in March, spent most of the summer living separately from the 42-year-old model. The couple vacationed with their children in the Bahamas in July, but Bndchen then took the kids to their Costa Rica home for three weeks without Brady, Page Six has learned.
While it was previously believed that the pair was together during Brady?s shocking 11-day break from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers? training camp in August, the source tells us that the pro athlete actually took another trip to the Bahamas alone with the kids during that time. The source close to the couple added, ?Gisele wasn?t there in August. It was Tom?s time alone with the kids.?
While Page Six had reported their marriage was on the rocks following an ?epic row? about his decision to return to the NFL, the family source countered, ?There wasn?t an epic fight. Gisele has no problem with Tom returning to football, she wants him to be happy, and wants him to play, if that is what he wants. There was never an ultimatum set down for Tom to choose between football or her. Their problems are more about the distance that has been created between them over a longer period of time.?

I?m honestly obsessed with how open and matter-of-fact this is. Gisele has been unhappy with Tom?s decision making all year, probably longer. Gisele has made sacrifices for his career. Gisele decided this summer that she?s going to live her life for herself. Gisele Bundchen did a virtual discussion with some Dior people to support a new Dior product, which I guess Gisele is the face of. The product? Diors Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum. If you watch the video (at the end of the post), you can see that it seems to be applied straight from the tube, and there?s a smooth, metal dispenser thing which probably acts as some kind of eye-bag massager. I?ve been using night cream and eye cream since my late twenties although I?ve been experimenting more with which brand to use in recent years. Currently, I?m using L?Oreal Age Perfect cell-renewal night cream and L?Oreal Age Perfect eye cream. I need to learn to stick with this eye cream, because I really notice a difference and the Olay eye cream I used a few months ago was doing next to nothing for me. I?ll admit that I?m curious about this Dior eye cream but the price tag $75 retail makes it something I won?t fk with. Anyway, Gisele chatted about the serum and ageing and more:
Nearly a year after turning 40, Gisele Bndchen is fully embracing her new decade. The supermodel got candid about beauty and aging during a Dior Skincare Digital Talk in celebration of the brands new Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum. With age comes wisdom, dont you feel that? I feel better at 40 than I felt at 30, I can tell you that much, Bndchen said. I think the 40s are going to be awesome. The 20s were a little challenging, Im not going to lie. The 30s, I was getting a grip on stuff. Now the 40s, Im like, Lets go!
While shes excited for this new chapter, Bndchen does admit it comes with some physical changes. I feel like the eyes are definitely the most sensitive part of the face. As Im maturing, I will say [it] is where I definitely notice that is where I want to have the most care, the model said.
When Bndchen was in her 20s, she didnt really care so much about her eyes, but now, its one of her top skincare priorities. Im like, Okay let me remove my makeup, she said. I feel like the eyes are the window of the soul. Im more aware of it than ever.
In addition to maintaining a well-rounded skincare regimen, Bndchen believes that beauty begins with a healthy diet.
I always say let thy food be your medicine because I also think food is very important. If you eat a bunch of greasy food, its going be hard to have really good skin, the model said. The more you eat your vegetables, thats going to reflect in your skin.

?I feel better at 40 than I felt at 30, I can tell you that much.? Nope. I mean, mentally I?m fine. I?m older and wiser and more chill. But I ?felt? better overall when I was 30. I was physically stronger and I didn?t feel like wizened ass most of the time. As for what she says about diet and skin? she?s right and she?s not right. Food does affect your skin and you should eat your veggies and drink lots of water and take care of your skin. But jeez, so much is genetic too. Some people can eat garbage all day and still be thin with great skin, you know?

Much like Gwyneth Paltrow, Gisele Bundchen rarely follows the Met Gala theme. If you were being generous, you could say that Gisele does vaguely try to stay ?on theme, but PRETTY,? although mostly she just opts for whatever dress caught her eye that week. I feel like that?s what happened here. Gisele was one of the handful of Dior-clad women at the event, and it?s clear that Dior customized this look for her, probably to her specifications. I think she was aiming for Cher, honestly. She was aiming for ?70s disco/Studio 54 faux-camp realness. But it didn?t work so she just went for ?pretty.? I do legitimately love the skirt of this Dior I love a well-done pleated fabric, and the way this dress hangs is divine. The top of the gown is a mess though, and it does Gisele no favors (it makes her chest look especially ?worked on?). Tom Brady was there too, looking like a goon.
Bless her, Cara Delevingne?s Dior look was ON POINT. I was surprised that more women didn?t lean into the camp theme this way Cara looks great and fun, which is the point.
Priyanka Chopra also wore Dior, and I think Nick Jonas? look is Dior as well. I truly have no idea what Priyanka was going for, at all. I?m just? at a loss to even describe this??

Here are some photos from last night?s 2019 Hollywood For Science Gala. Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were the biggest names at the event at UCLA. That?s because Gisele (and Barbra Streisand) was being honored for their environmental activism. Gisele wore a white Stella McCartney gown which I?m guessing was made from sustainable materials. She also wore Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. Am I huge ahole for thinking that Gisele looks kind of terrible? I mean, the dress is what it is, I don?t love it or hate it, but Gisele looks like she?s pulled really tight. Yikes.

Gisele Bundchen appeared on The Ellen Show this week to talk about her many projects and books and whatever. She ended up talking mostly about Tom Brady and their life together, and I ended up feeling sort of sad. Like, am I almost sympathetic towards Gisele? I think her marriage is generally fine, but as the years go on and Tom Brady?s contract with the Patriots continues, you can tell that Gisele isn?t happy about it. She flat-out wants him to retire. But she doesn?t want to be (or to be seen) as That Wife Who Demands That Her Husband Quit His Job. Some quotes:
Rumors that Gisele will retire: Ive never worked so hard in my life, actually. I think Ill retire only the day I die, because I love working. I love creating. I think thats why were here: to keep creating, expanding and learning.
Ellen, a Saints fan, asking if Tom is close to retiring: I think you should talk with him about that, Bndchen said. I havent been successful. Asked whether she wants him to retire, Bndchen gave a diplomatic answer. I want him to do whatever makes him happy. Maybe if you have a conversation with him, you know?
How physically taxing Tom?s job is: I definitely wouldnt want to have his job, thats for sure. Ill stay happy with mine. I think its definitely something you get concerned with, but he loves it so much. You gotta let him do what he loves.
Whether Tom is bad at anything: Hes terrible atHes not a multi-tasker. He can just do one thing at a time.
Tom?s secret talent: Hes an amazing waffle makerHe actually makes the batter and jokes with me, I cant give you the secret, otherwise you wont need me anymore. He has some secret recipe; Im sure theres some packaged thing involved. But I have never seen him making it because he literally wont let me see it. He says, Then you wont need me. I say, OK! I can?t believe Tom AND Gisele eat waffles. I thought that wasn?t allowed in their crazy 90% raw diet? I find this Classic Judgmental Gisele though: ?He has some secret recipe; Im sure theres some packaged thing involved.? I?m sure there is too his secret is likely something from Aunt Jemima. And I think it?s a gender thing most women are good multitaskers and most men are not.
As for all of the retirement talk? Gisele has wanted Tom to retire for years now. She even accidentally revealed that he?s had multiple concussions, and I?m sure she?s thinking long-term, about what her marriage is going to look like if and when Tom is diagnosed with CTE.

I?ve surprised myself by enjoying the excerpts from Gisele Bundchen?s memoir, the terribly titled Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life. I realize she?s all about natural, organic, clean eating and clean living everything, but her editor should have rejected that title. Anyway, as we know, Gisele is all about being all-natural (unless you?re talking about plastic surgery!). She?s spoken before about giving birth to her two children without drugs, but I didn?t remember that she delivered via home birth. She talks about that in her memoir too:
Gisele Bundchen couldn?t be talked out of having a home birth ? even against her doctor?s warnings. The 38-year-old model was set on delivering her first child with husband Tom Brady ? son Benjamin ? at home in 2009, even though she was almost talked out of it during her four-month checkup.
?The doctor told me that it was too dangerous for me to have a home birth. He said that Benny was in an unusual position, my hips were too small and the odds weren?t in my favor. He said it was probably best for me to schedule a c-Section.?
But the Brazilian native was set on giving birth oy her own terms, and although Brady ?wasn?t enthusiastic? about the idea at first, he eventually relented. ?My plan was to give birth in my bathtub, although I?d overlooked an important fact: I?m 5?11? and the bathtub was, well, not a lot bigger than that,? she explains. ?I was in labor with Benny for 16 hours and the last three I spent in the bathtub.?
She also told the show why she chose not to use pain medication while she was going in labor. ?I wanted to be conscious and present for what was happening,? the author explained. ?I didn?t want to be anesthetized. I wanted to feel.?

I say this endlessly, but no, I?m not a mom and I?ve never given birth. The whole childbirth thing has always terrified me, and had I ever chosen to be pregnant, I would have also chosen the elective C-section and the strongest drugs I could get my hands on. The women who choose drugs or C-sections (or need them for medical reasons) shouldn?t be shamed, nor is it shameful or less authentic to give birth in a hospital. I believe in ?you do you? and a woman?s right to choose is about a lot of things, and there are a buffet of choices to make. All I?m saying is that Gisele?s choices don?t have to yours, and if your childbirth experiences are different, that?s fine too. I?ve always found her super-judgy and vaguely patronizing about pregnancy and childbirth, and I find this particular story to be irresponsible: if your doctor is strongly against a home birth, guess what? You should at least consider what your doctor has to say.
