Her popularity never seems to wane, and Gisele Bundchen has just been named the new face of the campaign for Chanel No 5.
As one of the industry?s most iconic fragrances, the French perfume?s seasonal spread has always been a highly-sought-after gig by top models the world over.
Furthermore, WWD reports that Ms. Bundchen will team up with famed Australian director Baz Luhrmann when it comes time to do the shoot.
And given Gisele?s vast catalog of work, the forthcoming Chanel No 5 concept is sure to be an exciting endeavor.

Here are some photos of Gisele Bundchen at a gala for the Rainforest Alliance at The American Museum of Natural History last week. I just never got around to using these photos, so enjoy. Gisele went all out for the gala, wearing this Prophetik hemp gown. For hemp? that looks really nice. I?m not wild about the design, but the fabric is much better than, say, satin. Anyway, Gisele has a new interview with Food & Wine, all about how health-conscious and eco-conscious she is. Apparently, she keeps chickens and she composts??
Making Snacks with Her Son: ?Benjamin and I make his school snack together?fruit leather in our dehydrator. You can use any fruit, but I always use banana as the base because it has great texture and sweetness. My son is so proud; he goes to school and tells all his friends he made his own snack.?
Travel Tips: ?For years, I’ve lived on planes. I get up and stretch in the aisle. I don’t care if people are looking at me like, “What is this crazy woman doing?”
House Lemonade: ?I make an aloe-lemon drink that’s pretty healthy, but you could add tequila. Juice three lemons, peel fresh aloe, add a teaspoon of coconut nectar and a gallon of water, and blend it.?
Her Environmental Cause: ?After attending the Rainforest Alliance gala, I connected with their efforts to conserve the environment and help impoverished communities. I recently joined their board, so now I can participate more in their projects that I’m passionate about.?
Zero-Waste Household: ?I have a beautiful garden in L.A. where I raise chickens. We have very little waste because the chickens eat all of the vegetable scraps, and anything they won’t eat, I put in my compost pile with the chicken poo.?
Salt Strategy: ?Never salt your food until the end. If you put salt on the food in the beginning, you use a lot more than you need. I like to use Pink Himalayan salt.?

Her lemonade sounds bitter and puckery. I?m not saying you have to drown your lemonade in sugar, but lemonade should have some sweetness to cut the acidity of the lemons. As for her stretching on planes? sure, but I bet she flies first class everywhere, and the other first class passengers find her charming (or they?re texting friends ?OMG Gis doing yoga poses in 1st class?). In economy class, there?s barely room to stretch, that?s how I know.
As for all of the composting and such in her ?beautiful garden in LA?? you realize this is the same property that she and Tom Brady have put on the market, right? Dr. Dre (YES) apparently put a bid of $40 million on the eco-home and I think he?s probably going to get it. I wonder if the property comes with Gis?s chickens and her compost?
Last thing… professional chefs always say to season food throughout the cooking process. I’ll trust them over Gisele.

Stepping out for a good cause, Gisele Bundchen arrived at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City last night (May 7).
The beautiful Brazilian supermodel was in the house to attend the Rainforest Alliance Gala and she looked flawless in a Prophetik hemp gown as she playfully posed for the paparazzi.
Bundchen has always been an ardent environmentalist, having founded the Clean Water Project in an effort to better the Earth.
Additionally, Gisele?s companies Ipanema and Sejaa both raise funds for the rainforests. She told press, ?At the end of the day, it's our planet. We all have to feel accountable.?

It always amazes me how few risks Gisele Bundchen takes when she?s on a red carpet. As a model, in ad campaigns and on runways, she?s up for anything. She?ll do any kind of styling, and she?s proven that she can wear pretty much anything. But when Gisele is herself on a red carpet, it?s kind of boring. She likes relatively simple frocks, she usually goes for clean lines, nothing too dramatic. For this year?s Met Gala, Gisele wore Balenciaga (which is under new leadership following Nicolas Ghesquire?s exit). The dress is pretty, but it doesn?t stand out at all. Tom Brady?s hair looks sketchy too.
Dita Von Teese in Zac Posen. Karen Elson was wearing Posen too ? those were Zac?s dates for the night. I like Zac Posen as a person, but I think he?s overrated as a designer. While Dita?s dress is beautifully constructed, the colors are seriously off.

Naomi Campbell wore Givenchy, and Riccardo Tisci was her date. I don?t loathe her dress, but I don?t like it either. It?s a bad design saved by the fact that Naomi has a great body and can wear anything.
Newly single Adriana Lima wore Givenchy as well. This dress sucks.

Arriving at the Metropolitan Museum of Art?s Costume Institute without her man Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen was in the house for the 2014 Met Gala tonight (May 5).
Fans and shutterbugs alike clamored to catch a glimpse as the supermodel as she meandered around the arrivals area, chatting with other famous folks.
The 2014 Met Gala celebrates the opening of the redesigned Costume Institute and First Lady Michelle Obama will be on hand to officially kick things off.
Among the evening?s highlights will be the unveiling of the newly-named Anna Wintour Costume Center, as well as plenty of amazing frocks from the top designers across the globe.

Models can’t just model anymore. That’s so 2000. Now you have to do more. You have to have a talent or at least trick people into thinking you have a talent. That’s why H&M got Bob Sinclair to produce Gisele Bundchen’s cover of Blondie’s “Heart of Glass.”
With enough autotune, anyone can sound like a superstar. I think that’s the same lie they told Paris Hilton.

Here are some photos of Gisele Bundchen shooting a commercial in Boston yesterday. The photos of Gisele in the white sweater are from the commercial shoot, and then the animal-print pants are her everyday clothes, as she?s saying goodbye to the crew. Quick note about the white sweater photos: does Gisele shave or wax above the knee? No judgment. But I can see some fine leg hairs above the knee. I used to be very good about shaving about the knee, but nowadays it?s not a part of my daily grooming. I might get to it once a week or something. I imagine Gisele?s leg hair sparkles like diamonds.
Anyway, Gisele recently spoke to a Brazilian outlet and she claims that after she was named to the top of Forbes? ?Supermodel Rich List,? she was audited by the IRS. Wow.
Not even supermodel Gisele Bndchen is immune from the Internal Revenue Service. The Brazilian bombshell told MdeMulher, a Brazilian news site, that she was audited by the IRS after she was listed on Forbes? Supermodel Rich List.
?It?s sad, because the people who write these things don?t have my bank account details,? Bndchen, 33, said. ?I do OK, I earn plenty, but not as much as they say. I have already been audited by the IRS because of this list, and, truthfully, whether I?m on this list or not doesn?t interest me.?
Forbes has ranked the former Victoria Secret runway model as the world?s richest supermodel for seven years in a row. In the past year, she raked in $42 million ? about $4 million more than what her NFL quarterback husband Tom Brady took home.
Forbes estimated Bndchen?s earnings from editorial shoots, independent licensing ventures, spokesperson gigs and contracts from beauty and fashion companies.
Regardless of the numbers, the supermodel said she is a normal person.
?I?ve got the same interests, the same day-to-day life as any woman,? Bundchen said. ?I want to raise my children well, be a good wife and work. This is what I value: Are my children educated, is my husband happy, are people feeling positive energy from me? There should be a magazine to quantify knowledge, understanding and love for people: That is power.?

THANKS OBAMA. Actually, I was recently reading that the average citizen?s chances of being audited are the lowest they?ve been in decades. But I guess when Forbes declares that you?re raking in $40-plus million a year, the IRS is going to want to take a peek. As for what Gisele says she really values, like her children?s education and a happy husband? she probably means it. For the most part, I think Gisele and Tom have their priorities straight. One exception: they love shelling out crazy money for crazy real estate.

Checking some items off her to-do list, Gisele Bundchen ran some errands in New York City on Tuesday (February 11).
While enduring the chilly temperatures, the former Victoria's Secret Angel donned an all-black ensemble with a zebra print scarf as she chatted away on her cell.
On Monday evening (February 10), Miss Bundchen took to her Instagram account and shared a snapshot as she prepared to present the fragrance 212 VIP Ros.
"On my way to the launch of the fragrance #VIP212Ros #CarolinaHerrera Indo para o lanamento da fragrncia #VIP212Ros," Gisele captioned the photo featuring her wearing a gorgeous black dress as she posed for the camera.

I?m not really sure what?s happening, but I like it. Sort of. You know how I was always going on and on about net-a-porter.com?s in-house online magazine, The Edit? They almost always had lovely editorials and great fashion photos, plus they did decent interviews. Well, now net-a-porter has launched their first print magazine, Porter. And Gisele Bundchen got the first cover.
First, a word about the cover? OMG. Gorgeous. I know a lot of you shade Gisele?s supermodel status, but seriously, at least she has a strong look. And many people do think she?s beautiful. I am one of them. This shot is so? wonderful. I just don?t even have the words. I?m including some other shots from the pictorial too ? I?m not sure where she was photographed, but there some interior design p0rn too. If you?d like to see the full editorial, go here.
I am worried though. I loved The Edit and I hope it isn?t going away. But does net-a-porter really need an online magazine and a print magazine? Hm. WWD had a story about this launch, and it sounds like Porter is replacing The Edit, and they?re going to do an online version of Porter too.
In other Gisele news? she just got replaced as the face of H&M. The new face is Miranda Kerr. Oooo. That IS interesting. I think this has been in the works for a while, because Miranda recently stepped down as the face of Mango. H&M probably asked her to choose.
