Treating herself to a midday shopping session, Britney Spears enjoyed a retail romp in Los Angeles, California on Monday (September 27)
Wearing her hair pulled back today while clad in a gray tank top with a purple vest and khaki shorts, the "Gimme More" singer strolled down Montana Ave with her trusty security staffer right beside her.
The sighting comes just one day ahead of Britney's big guest appearance on the hit FOX show "Glee" - with the show airing on Tuesday (September 28) at 8/7c.
Tweeting about the gig, Miss Spears excitedly wrote, "Can't wait for GLEE tomorrow night. I'm going to tweet along as it airs on the West Coast so we can watch together. -Brit"

Let?s just talk about The State of the Weave first, shall we? These are photos of Britney Spears out and about yesterday in LA. Now, just a few days ago we saw that Britney?s weave/extensions were back to looking like a hot mess. Not as bad as a few months ago, but still hideous and gross. When Britney stepped out yesterday, the hot mess still continued, although it did look clean like Britney is trying to do something with it. I think she had new extensions put in too - but now she?s got a mullet appearance. Like she?s growing out her bangs trauma and the rest of her hair/extensions are too long:
Listen to me, Brit. Just cut it all off. Give yourself a little pixie cut, or even shave your head again. No one will judge you. We already think you?re crazy, so why not just start with a clean hair slate? And beyond the busted mullet, Brit does look pretty good. All of her parts are covered up, she?s wearing a nice blouse and a bra. It was a good day.
On other Brit-Brit news, her episode of Glee comes on next week. Here?s the promo for it. I?m not even sure which one is Britney, honestly.
Cute? Sure. I actually love that Britney gets some television work every now and then. It?s great that they let her come on Glee, and I bet she had a great time.

Venturing out for the day's agenda, Britney Spears headed over to The Commons in Calabasas for lunch on Wednesday (September 22).
The "Gimme More" singer looked in high spirits as she and her crew made their way to Marmalade Cafe for a bite to eat.
Ready to be featured on next week's episode of "Glee," actress Heather Morris explained, "Through a special substance, I go under and have a couple of dream sequences ? not only myself, but with Santana [Naya Rivera]. A lot of it has to do with Will [Matthew Morrison] not allowing us to perform Britney Spears songs, because he doesn't agree with what kind of entertainer she is, so it's our fight to do Britney. But it's not just us doing Britney in show choir; there are other sequences ? it's our homage to her."
She continued, "It wasn't really nerve-racking, because I've met her before and I wasn't really overwhelmed by who she is. But the idea of what she has given us for the show and, for me, getting to dance with her and play with her on set, I was just staring at her at one point and thinking, 'This is just so frickin' awesome.'"

Spending the day out shopping with her quickly growing boys, Britney Spears was spotted out with Sean and Jayden in Topanga, CA on Tuesday (September 21).
The "Womanizer" singer looked cute in an aqua tank and shorts as she and a few helpers escorted the little ones around the Topanga Mall.
Seeming to be happy and healthy, Miss Spears is prepping for a big finish to the year.
Along with being the guest star on next week?s episode of "Glee," Brit Brit is said to be back in the studio recording new material.

With the new season of ?Glee? already underway, fans are looking forward to the special Britney Spears episode.
And cast member Heather Morris is dishing some of the details to whet the appetites of the millions of ?Gleeks? waiting patiently.

It?s been another bad weekend for Britney?s busted weave. Brit-Brit went out and about on Friday in some short-shorts and a white lacey top. Under normal circumstances, I would compliment the look - Britney is getting a little bit better at only inappropriately exposing one part of her body at a time lately - and on Friday, it was her legs. So, kudos to whoever is dressing her and making sure she?s got her ?brawn? (bra on). However, whoever is responsible for the weave? well, Daddy Spears needs to hire someone full time, or replace the current weave guy, or something. Because this junk?
Ghastly. Not quite as bad as this, but it?s still very gross. Can you imagine being around The Weave? What does it smell like? Is she using her daddy?s grits as shampoo? ?I like the way it makes my hair smell, y?all,? Britney says.
In other Britney news, she?s not engaged to Jason Trawick, y?all. She (her people) denied that sh-t on her website. I wonder if Britney does want to marry Jason and he?s just waiting for his contract to be up? They did look really happy in Hawaii - and Jason seems like a solid ?handler? for Brit. Is that enough to make a good marriage? Eh.

Getting back in work mode, Britney Spears was spotted hitting up a local recording studio in Los Angeles, California as she drew an end to the week on Friday (September 17).
Looks to be having hair extension problems again, the "Gimme More" singer showed off her scraggly hairdo while clad in a doily white top with white shorts and wedge heels.
Following her day's work duties, Brit Brit proceeded on to grab up a quick lunch at one of her favorites - Johnny Rockets in Encino.
The previous day, Miss Spears was playing the doting mother as she took sons Jayden James and Sean Preston out shopping and for a stroll around town.
