Stepping out for a fun-filled family excursion, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri were spotted making their way out of their home in New York City on Tuesday evening (May 25).
With the "Top Gun" stud toting his growing daughter in his arms, the trio loaded into an awaiting ride before heading off for an entertaining night on Broadway.
The Cruise family outing comes just as Tom graces the June 2010 cover of Esquire magazine - in which he spoke about topics including being a father and loved ones in his life.
Chatting about his parental role, Cruise told, ?I?ll never forget the moment I became a dad. But it?s hard to describe ? that level of responsibility, the desire to give such joy. The clarity: Nothing is more important than this. I remember that first night, just staring at Bella. I was checking her every second, just looking at her, feeling that immediate bond. I was probably looking at her so much that I was keeping her up. I made a promise to her: All I can do is the best I can. But I?m not going to say I?m gonna do something and then not do it.?
Speaking about family in general, the 47-year-old dished, ?You hear about people who have lifelong friends. I never was in a place long enough to have them. So that role was filled by my family. If anyone was teasing my sisters, I really felt it? I?d create different characters and ad-lib sketches to make my sisters and my mother feel better. I?d try to make them laugh. I?d do Donald Duck as John Wayne. I?d watch Soul Train and imitate the dancers. I guess you can say that?s where it started. I always had a dream to be in movies, [my family] didn?t say, That?s impossible. They laughed.?

Getting another day underway, Katie Holmes was spotted leaving her New York City apartment on Tuesday (May 25).
Clad in a plaid top with black leggings and tan boots, the "Mad Money" actress quickly passed by awaiting paparazzi before heading off to tend to the afternoon's agenda.
Miss Holmes is currently enjoying time in the Big Apple with husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri - as the trio were spotted all over town the previous evening.
Following a shopping spree, the Cruise clan grabbed up a gourmet meal at Il Cantinori before topping things off with a tasty ice cream sundae.

Kicking off their week with a family outing, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes took their daughter out to dinner in New York City last night (May 24).
The ?Mission: Impossible? stud and his ?Dawson?s Creek? cutie treated their little one to a gourmet meal at Il Cantinori.
Prior to dinner, Katie took Suri out for a little pre-meal appetizer- a frozen snack at a nearby ice cream parlor.
And it looks like little Suri insisted on taking her stuffed animal friends with her all night- what Suri wants Suri gets!

The ?Mad Money? mommy and her adorable daughter both sported matching purple shoes as they strolled past the paparazzi.
Katie and Suri made a stop at Le Pain Quotidien (The Daily Bread) where they picked up some coffee and delicious pastries.
After they?d satisfied their growling tummies, the mother-daughter duo made their way to Barney?s New York to do a little retail therapy.

Enjoying a Mother's day weekend outing with her daughter, Katie Holmes took Suri Cruise shopping in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (May 8).
The adorable duo trekked over to the Steven Alan clothing store, where they perused through the local boutique's selections before leaving with a few new purchases.
The outing comes after Mrs Tom Cruise joined her "Top Gun" hubby to perform a song and dance at the ?A Fine Romance? charity gala - with Katie singing the tune ?Whatever Lola Wants? from Damn Yankees.
And while the pair seemed to be having a marvelous time on this particular night, there are still rumblings of unhappiness in the marriage.
A Cruise source recently told E! Online, "Tom is one of the most goal-oriented guys I know. He never stops and chills. Ever, ever, ever?sitting around and just talking?never happens. You cannot just hang with him; he always has a plan of what to do next."
Stemming from this, another Holmes insider from Ohio tells E! that Katie is "a little frustrated with Tom always calling the shots."

Oh. Dear. God. This is one of the funniest, most uncomfortable, ridiculous videos ever. The setting: the ?A Fine Romance? fundraiser for The Motion Picture and Television fund in New York on Saturday. The event: Katie Holmes singing and dancing ?Whatever Lola Wants? and treating Tom Cruise as her hyper-choreographed love/dance slave.
This is whole thing is too good not to over-analyze, so let?s get started:
0:24 Holy crap, I think Katie is singing live. And she sounds terrible.
0:34 Katie does a cute little mini-almost-vadge-flash as she struts over to Tom, who is rushing to his mark.
0:40 Tom gives the performance of a lifetime as he pretends he?s okay with Katie running her fingers through his hair. When she does this at home, he slaps her hand and yells ?BITCH, DON?T TOUCH IT.?
0:45 Yep, this bitch was totally choreographed, including when Tom would turn his head dramatically, in time with the music. For all we know, he was the one who choreographed it.
0:49 When Katie gets close to flashing Tom her vadge, he looks away. Poor Tom. You can look at it, honey, The Vadge won?t eat you. Also, poor Katie!

Having recently been busy filming her new movie "Son of No One," Katie Holmes has added another new project to her list of current endeavors.
Fittingly enough, the former "Dawson's Creek" star has been cast to portray the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in an upcoming miniseries.
To be aired on the History Channel, "The Kennedys" will be an eight-hour show about the political couple, with Greg Kinnear set to play John F Kennedy.
Of Katie's new acting gig, History Channel President Nancy Dubuc tells Us magazine that Jackie Kennedy is "a role that that Katie's demure elegance will bring to life."
