A few years back, LeAnn Rimes was having consistent health problems. It seemed like any time LeAnn had any kind of gig, she would end up canceling it last-minute, claiming she had some kind of virus, or dental emergency, or something else. What was funny about it was that almost always, just a day or two after LeAnn canceled something, she inevitably posted lots of bikini pics from her beach vacation. It really did seem like her ?illnesses? were used an excuse for LeAnn to strut around in bikinis. People got wise to LeAnn pretty quickly, and some of us hoped she?d learned her lesson, the lesson being ?you?re not that popular anymore so don?t alienate the few fans you have left.? Well, guess what? LeAnn canceled a weekend concert at the last minute. She posted on Twitter:
Fans and Friends, I am incredibly disappointed not to be with you this weekend. I have been struggling with severe TMJ and have injured my bone and jaw. It’s left me unable to sing at this moment. I have been put on rest in order to recover. I am truly sorry for this horrible timing, but I am happy to say we have new dates set for the shows. We’ll be in Angola, IN Nov. 5th and Carmel, IN Nov. 18th. Thank you for the understanding and see very soon. I appreciate you all. LeAnn

TMJ is temporomandibular joint syndrome, which is one of LeAnn?s frequent excuses for canceling concerts and appearances. TMJ is a real thing affecting thousands, if not millions of people. TMJ is also the excuse LeAnn gives for her constant dental work. Since I?m not a doctor or an oral surgeon, I?m not going to speak to the validity of LeAnn?s claims. I will say that I think there?s a pretty good chance that LeAnn just wanted to spend the weekend at the beach OR Eddie was threatening to go on a ?boys? only? vacation and she had to stay home and throw a tantrum. We?ll probably never know!

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes at LAX last night. She arrived home (to LA) after spending a few days in London, where she performed in Hyde Park. I?m sorry, London. I?m sure LeAnn?s yodels haunted your dreams that night. LeAnn?s Instagram is littered with photos from London too ? she brought Eddie and they seem to have done some sightseeing. As for LeAnn?s outfit in these photos? CB and I were recently bonding over the comeback of ?90s fashion, and CB confessed that she found an old-school pair of ?90s mom jeans at a thrift store and she bought them. That?s what LeAnn?s outfit reminds me of ? it?s not that she?s wearing mom jeans (button-fly mom jeans?!), and I?m sure fashionistas would call these ?boyfriend jeans? or some such nonsense. But this is the kind of sh-t we wore in the ?90s, down to the black tank and long, silky shirt-jacket. And I feel both nostalgic and creeped out.
LeAnn has been promoting her Christmas album? from last year. The album was Today Is Christmas and I guess LeAnn just wants some of that Christmas money. Just this week, she announced a 12-city tour throughout December, and she?s calling it her 2016 Today Is Christmas Tour, which isn?t clunky at all. The tickets go on sale on Friday, because it?s never too early to celebrate Christmas, especially in September. LeAnn released a statement:
?With everything that is going on in the world, I think we could all benefit from a little Christmas cheer this year. I love being able to celebrate my favorite holiday with all of my fans singing along to Christmas classics and some of my new originals.?

It feels like I haven?t paid attention to LeAnn Rimes in months. It feels good. Did she really go away or did I just make a new habit of ignoring her? Who knows? Anyway, LeAnn is back with a new album and she was in London late last week to promote it. These are photos of LeAnn outside of the BBC Radio offices, and I have to admit? I actually like her dress here. If she had worn a bra, the look would have been stunning. While in London, LeAnn also stopped by the British talk show Loose Women, which from what I understand is sort of like our American show The View? Sort of. In the Loose Women interview, LeAnn said many words. Some highlights:
She gets Kao Sori facial treatments involving a scalpel to the face: ?A couple of weeks ago, it?s amazing,” LeAnn said of the face-shaving procedure that works to exfoliate the skin with a blade. “She did it with a scalpel. It was insane afterwards. My face felt like a baby?s butt?All of my face. It was amazing. It?s different to microdermabraision. It?s all the pulling. There?s no shaving cream either, it?s dry. Oh yeah, absolutely.?
Being a stepmother to Eddie?s sons: “My stepsons are nine and 13. They were two and six when I first met them. It was quite the adjustment. I think any blended family, it takes a while. Over the past year, year and a half, I feel like we’re finally settled in. We’re not exempt [to struggles] because you see our faces. My husband and I are a team and that’s how we have to approach parenting. They’ve always been super respectful of me. They are good to me.”
Whether she & Eddie will have a kid: “We practice a lot.”

Is it wrong that I?m sort of interested in the Kao Sori facial now? A scalpel? FOR REAL? I mean, you have to have a lot of trust with your facialist. Is the scalpel for unwanted whiskers? Because I have some whiskers. And I?ve never thought to go at them with a scalpel. As for the stuff about being a stepmom? LeAnn always sounds so self-absorbed, no surprise. ?They’ve always been super respectful of me. They are good to me.? Great. I?m so glad that the priority is how THEY treat YOU.

Here is LeAnn Rimes flaunting her tanned and toned body in a very revealing two piece as she and husband Eddie Cibrian enjoyed a break with friends in Mexico’s Cabo San Luca this weekend.
The couple are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary at the resort and she didn’t worry about covering up as they basked in the sunshine.

For many, many years now, the tabloids have been obsessed with the idea that LeAnn Rimes is running out of money, or that she?s bad with money, or that she spends too much money supporting her perpetually underemployed husband, Eddie Cibrian. I honestly believe a lot of those stories. While LeAnn was at one time pretty well off, she doesn?t have a lot of income coming in, and she has likely spent a good chunk of her savings since marrying Eddie. But still, we wait for the money to really dry up, and it hasn?t? yet. Which is my way of saying that this Star story could have been published at any point in the past six years:
Turns out you can?t live a jet-set lifestyle on zero dollars a year ? just ask LeAnn Rimes, who?s hoping a comeback tour will get her finances back in the black. And if it doesn?t, insiders believe it won?t just break the bank, but also her marriage to actor Eddie Cibrian!
?LeAnn knows she?s neglected her career for too long,? admits a friend. ?At this point she?s known more for her affair with Eddie than for being a singer.?
LeAnn?s last album, 2013?s Spitfire, was a flop, and Eddie?s last major job was a three-episode stint on Baby Daddy. ?They?ve coasted off LeAnn?s savings since they got together five years ago, but they live large with a huge mansion and lots of trips,? adds the insider. ?Plus, she helps support his two sons.?
Now LeAnn is ready to hit the road for a big concert tour? just with only two small shows scheduled this year, friends wonder if her dire financial straits will shatter her marriage to the 42-year-old Cibrian, who has grown accustomed to the A-list lifestyle, fueled by his wife?s nest egg.

The problem isn?t just that LeAnn is more known for the affair, it?s that she?s known for being a crazy Single White Female and a Twitter-stalker and all of that. And that means no one is really interested in hearing her sing. It?s a weird, LeAnn-specific conundrum, really. There are plenty of C-listers able to find revenue streams through social media, club appearances, random promotional work and guest appearances. But I get the feeling that A) LeAnn thinks a lot of that stuff is beneath her and B) no one is offering those deals to LeAnn anyway.
What makes this story extra-funny is that Eddie?s rep went to Gossip Cop to deny it! Did you know Eddie still has a rep? He hasn?t worked in a year, and even then (as Star points out), it was just a minor guest spot on basic-cable. How does he still afford to have a publicist, hm? Well, Eddie DOES have a rep and the rep says: ?Their marriage is fine? their finances are fine.? CASE CLOSED!

I was 14, he was 23. We don't remember meeting. He found this in the garage while going through boxes. 14 years later who knew we'd meet again. Crazy, all the life that happened between those two encounters, the lessons that needed to be learned. Fate? Chance? Serendipity? Who knows ? I missed this update last week, but better late than never. Two weeks ago, LeAnn Rimes was in Texas as part of her latest ?tour.? She performed at Billy Bob?s Texas. Some old of LeAnn?s old friends came out to see her ? those friends were Billy Mack, the country radio personality, and his dad Bill Mack. Billy Mack took LeAnn to task on social media for her alleged rudeness towards him and his dad. Mack called out LeAnn for her ?lack of humility? and a ?Kardashian attitude.? Mack has now deleted those tweets and his Facebook post about the incident, but you can read what he wrote here. In any case, LeAnn?s rep (that poor bastard) went to Us Weekly late last week to clear the air:
While the Macks seem to imply that LeAnn Rimes, 33, purposely ignored them, she offered to meet with them both before and after the concert ended ? an offer the Macks turned down ?for personal reasons,? according to Rimes? rep.
“In hindsight, Bill Mack and his son’s desire to see LeAnn on their time frame with no regard for the time frames that are part of every artist’s protocol before shows was the only ‘diva’ attitude going on,” Rimes’ rep tells Us. ?LeAnn and her family love Bill Mack. She has no idea why he would harbor such intense ill feelings about her and why he could talk as if he knew anything about her personal life.?
Adds the spokesperson: ?LeAnn honored and thanked Bill Mack on the stage that night during her show before singing Bill Mack?s song ?Blue.? She did this all three nights of her shows in Texas.?

So, basically, the Macks wanted to stop by and see LeAnn before the show to say hello and wish her luck ? and keep in mind, she KNOWS them and they were friendly at one time ? and she shut down their request because she?s such an amazing professional and she needed all of this time before her super-important show (which barely anyone came to). While I understand that performers will and do need time to get into a performance mindset, it?s not like the Macks were asking LeAnn to play a game of chess before her show. They just wanted to say hello! Plus, one of these gentlemen was well into his 80s ? he probably didn?t want to stay for the whole show, you know? He just came out to see the woman he thought was a friend.
Also, someone tweeted this over the weekend. LeAnn acts like a diva while boarding planes too.

A few weeks ago, I wrote about LeAnn Rimes and her outfit at her stepson?s soccer game. That time, she wore short-shorts and a cropped top with a deep V-neck and what seemed like no bra. It was inappropriate, but then again, I usually find LeAnn to be a pretty inappropriate person.
Well, these are photos from another weekend game for her stepsons. Once again, Brandi Glanville was there to support her sons and Brandi even sat relatively close to LeAnn. LeAnn?s outfit this time did seem to be a bit better. Most moms/stepmoms were wearing shorts, and LeAnn paired hers with a simple t-shirt and a flannel tied around her waist. It?s fine. Not so fine? Brandi Glanville flashed everybody as she was setting up her seat. According to X17, LeAnn was sort of grim about the whole situation. I imagine next weekend, LeAnn will be wearing a gauzy minidress and SHE will bend over and flash everyone.
Meanwhile, this was too funny not to post ? LeAnn Instagrammed this photo of her jewelry several days ago. Note the giant ?BONUS? bracelet. My God. It?s like getting a blinged-out ?STEPMUTHA 4 LIFE? necklace or something.

We can go months without talking about LeAnn Rimes, and for that, I?m grateful. But spring is here and summer is on the way, which means LeAnn has emailed her step-sons? Little League and soccer schedules to the paparazzi so they can get plenty of photos of her in short-shorts, posing as the Best Step-Mom Ever. These are photos from this weekend, where LeAnn and Eddie were attending one of the kids? soccer games. Of course LeAnn wore shorty-shorts and a low-cut sweater. Everything is all about LeAnn, always!
We haven?t really talked about LeAnn in more than a month, and even then, it wasn?t really because LeAnn was doing something new. In February, Dean Sheremet was promoting his cookbook, and he ended up talking about LeAnn a bit in interviews and the book. LeAnn?s lawyers sent Dean a threatening letter about it, but I don?t know if anything came out of it. I mean, Dean still promoted his book and we haven?t heard anything about LeAnn actually suing him, so maybe she dropped the issue. Which is so unlike her.
What else? She?s still posting a lot of stuff on social media, but she?s been somewhat quiet and un-newsworthy lately. Usually if we get a few months of quiet, that means something big is coming down the pipeline. We?ll see!

Here are some photos of LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian in Beverly Hills yesterday. Her jeans were ripped, her boots were fug and her ?Superb? t-shirt was basic. I suspect that this was an organized pap stroll, even though LeAnn?s expression is set to ?pissy.? She wanted to be seen, she wanted people to talk about her outfit, and even more than that, she wanted people to see that she was holding hands with Eddie. So there you go.
For several weeks now, the anti-LeAnn people have been following me on Twitter and including me in their conversations. While I enjoy the enthusiasm and gossip, the conversations do get convoluted and hard-to-follow. There was a big to-do about LeAnn not attributing quotes on her #ChalkTalk Instagrams, and then when she tried to give one attribution, she got it wrong and then wouldn?t admit it. Then there was the drama with long-time ?LeAnn Enemy? Ilana Angel ? go here to read Ilana?s recap, which is just disturbing. Basically, LeAnn?s BFF Darrell Brown and his husband/partner organized some kind of weird stalking session on Ilana and the whole story is really crazy.
Sigh? I kind of wish LeAnn would delete all of her social media profiles and just go and live her life. But even then, I suspect that the insanity would need to be channeled somewhere, so God knows where it would pop up if she actually did take a break from social media.
