Keeping close watch on their merchandising empire, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted attending a business meeting yesterday afternoon (November 4).
The “Full House” hotties looked intensely focused as they made their exit from the Midtown Manhattan office building, both wearing black ensembles.
Mary Kate and Ashley recently developed a new line of clothing for the more budget-minded teen called Olsenboye, to be sold in JC Penny stores.
Speaking of the line, Mary Kate said that she and her sister “felt strongly about creating a unique experience to reach the teen customer, using relevant marketing strategies that would effectively reach this key customer demographic.”

They’re always looking for ways to broaden their portfolio, and earlier this week Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted launching their new clothing line Olsenboye.
The “Full House” hotties celebrated their new collection by selling clothes from the JC Penny line out of an ice cream truck-style van in New York City’s Union Square.

Continuing on with their successful business ventures, Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen paid a promotional visit to “Good Morning America” in New York City on Monday (October 26).
The Olsen Twins were there to boost interest in their new Junior fashion line of sportswear and accessories collection named Olsenboye - which will be sold exclusively at J.C. Penney.
According to press reports, “the mid-priced juniors’ line will feature various collections, each of which will highlight a different city of interest to the twins.”
“It’s really important that Olsenboye serves lots of girls,” Liz Sweney of J.C. Penney tells. “It’s not just about girls size zero or one.”

Is Mary-Kate Olsen engaged to her longtime boyfriend Nate Lowman? Of course, if you ask Star Magazine. And the proposal was just as cheesy and clich as only a Star writer can come up with. Truffles. Rings. Classic dialogue. Including such memorable romantic proposal lines as, ?Are you sure you want to do this??
Mary-Kate Olsen and her artist beau, Nate Lowman, have been talking marriage for a while. Yet when he actually popped the question during the couple’s early October visit to Paris, the moment was sweeter than she could have imagined - and Star has all the details!
The setting was the restaurant at the Hotel Le Bristol, where the two were enjoying a four-course gourmet dinner. “At the end of the meal, Nate gave her a truffle box - she loves truffles, so she went to try one right away,” says a pal. “But inside, she found a little jewelry box instead. When she opened it, there was a beautiful diamond engagement ring!”
Mary-Kate’s reaction? “Nate’s this grungy, cool artist type, so she was shocked, but in a good way, by what was happening. Then he smiled and asked her to marry him and added, ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ Mary-Kate said, ‘You know I want to do this!’”
After excitedly telling her best pals and sister Ashley - “She thinks Nate’s perfect for Mary-Kate,” says the friend - the megabcks babe, 23, has leapt into planning the wedding. “Their entire time in Paris was so romantic for both of them, and Mary-Kate was absolutely swept off her feet by Nate’s proposal. She’s so thrilled she can barely keep it quiet!”

So basically Nate said, ?Will you marry me?? then followed it up with ?Are you sure you want to do this?? How romantic. Isn?t that what you say when you?re getting married for the wrong reasons? Like to save the relationship or because she?s knocked up? I?m not saying she is, I?m just saying that?s about the most unromantic question I can think of. Obviously I don?t believe for a second that Star got a perfectly-retold version of the story with completely accurate quotes. What I love is that their writer obviously filled it in with the way she thought it would go. Which involves wooing of the type most of us fantasized about around the age of eleven.
The print edition of the National Enquirer has an official ?there?s no truth to any of this? denial from Mary-Kate?s rep. However the Enquirer (who I?m much more likely to believe than Star any day) also has a lengthy article about the prenup that?s supposedly being hammered out by Mary-Kate?s lawyers. They don?t even sensationalize it ? they essentially say Nate understands that Mary-Kate has a $900 million fortune to protect, and he?ll sign a reasonably prenup. The only drama comes in from his friends supposedly telling him to hold out for a lot of money in case of divorce, their reasoning being ?What?s $50 million to someone worth $900 million?? If there?s any truth to that, then Nate?s friends are morons. I doubt they?re actually engaged because Star?s story was clearly written by a fifth grader who?s read one too many Judy Blume novels. But I bet they?re working their way there, and will probably be engaged by the end of this year. Oh and I really don’t buy that Mary-Kate eats truffles. That’s the biggest tip-off, right there.

They’ve always had a penchant for style, and yesterday (October 21) Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were spotted at the 2009 Council of Fashion Designers of America’s new members reception.
The former “Full House” hotties hobnobbed with fellow designers and industry bigwigs at the Four Season Restaurant in New York City, each expressing their individual fashion senses.
During a panel discussion, Ashley revealed that she and her twin sister got into the fashion game to be creative rather than just looking to get their name out there.
“A lot of celebrities get involved because they want to slap their name on it and it will add to their brand. And for us, it was totally different. That wasn’t my point. For me, when I look at it as a celebrity brand, it’s almost silly to me, because I’m not coming at it from a celebrity standpoint. “

They’ve always been known for their keen fashion sense, so it’s no wonder that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are adding to their dynamic.
The 23-year-old twins are coming out with their own line of sunglasses which will be vintage-inspired and introduced this spring, according to Women’s Wear Daily.
Although the line won’t launch for a couple more months, during London Fashion week, Mary-Kate was spotted sporting a pair of square framed shades which are reportedly one of the four different styles in the collection.
The sunglasses will range in price from $325-$390, and will be sold in high-end department stores.

We’ve watched the Olsen Twins transform from babies to young ladies, and now they are all grown up and ready to get married - let the bride wars begin!
“Mary-Kate and Ashley are trying to one-up each other with their weddings,” a close friend said. “Neither of them wants to be second, because whoever gets married first will steal all the attention from the other!”
Ashley, who has been with Justin Bartha for a year, has been chatting away about marriage and is even between Justin’s hometown of West Bloomfield, Michigan or New York City’s Plaza hotel to throw the wedding. One insider says” They are so ready!”
But Mary-Kate is ready to tie the knot, also! The actress has been dating Nate Lowman for two years and she is ready for him to pop the question. One friend says, “She would love nothing more than to have people talk about her wedding for years to come — and forget all about Ashley’s!”

Known for her love of runway shows, Mary-Kate Olsen was out for the Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2010 Ready To Wear festivities on Monday (October 5).
Accompanied by boyfriend Nate Lowman, the former “Full house” star sported a beige jacket, lace skirt and Giambattista platforms as she took in the Giambattista Valli show from a front row perch.
Meanwhile, Miss Olsen was noticeably absent from Lindsay Lohan’s big Emmanuel Ungaro Pret a Porter show the previous day.
Nonetheless, it seems from the negative reviews that Mary Kate and her twin sister Ashley don’t have to worry about competition for their The Row and Elizabeth and James lines.

Gearing up for the day ahead, Mary Kate Olsen was spotted leaving a hotel in the SoHo district of New York City yesterday (September 21).
The “Full House” hottie looked a bit camera-shy as she covered her face to avoid the paparazzi, quickly hopping into a chauffeured car and speeding off.
Miss Olsen has been plenty busy as of late, with the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week having just blown through the Big Apple.
She also joined her sister Ashley for some sporting action, checking out the US Open Tennis Championship in Queens last week.

Ever the cute couple, Ashley Olsen and her boyfriend, Justin Bartha, were spotted side-by-side at the US Open on Sunday afternoon (September 13).
Catching the men’s semi-finals at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, the twosome doted on one another as Roger Federer bested Novak Djokovic to reach the finals.
Not to be left out of the action, Ashley’s twin sister, Mary Kate, also was spotted making a separate exit from the stadium upon the match’s completion.
Meanwhile, Federer will now be facing Juan Martin del Potro is this year’s final to be held later today (September 14) at 4PM EST.
