Currently situated in the City of Lights during fashion week, Mary Kate Olsen was spotted doing a little shopping in Paris, France on Wednesday (October 6).
The former "Full House" star was photographed on the city streets after having loaded up on a few purchases at the local Celine boutique.
As for Mary Kate and sister Ashley's own clothing offerings, the twins recently chatted with Entertainment Tonight about setting trends with their clothing line The Row.
The 24-year-old designer siblings said: "The design process usually starts up with a conversation. It's really about finding what's next and what categories to explore."
The Olsen gals added: "'I think we became perfectionists at a young age so, for us, the fit is so important."

Getting another day underway, Mary Kate Olsen was spotted leaving her apartment in New York City on Wednesday (September 15).
Wearing a bulky coat and jeans, the former "Full House" star toted a bottled water while ignoring paparazzi as she tended to the day's agenda.
Having just announced that she and twin sis Ashley have decided to postpone their runway presentation for The Row, Mary-Kate recently chatted about her love of great coats when the weather cools down.
She said, "I love getting amazing jackets, because you can wear your pyjamas underneath and everyone's like, 'Oh fabulous jacket', and I'm like, 'You should see what's underneath'."

They?ve been gearing up to show off their new collection of The Row designs, but it looks like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen will have to wait a bit longer.
The ?Full House? hotties were hoping to debut the Spring 2011 line at Milk Studios tomorrow (September 14th) but because of delayed sample deliveries, they?ll wait until later in the month.
The Olsen ladies explained, ?We have made the decision to postpone our spring-summer 2011 presentation of The Row due to sample delivery. Production and delivery of our samples is delayed by a few days and this has cast us out of the New York schedule. We will therefore present it to the market within the Paris schedule. We are excited and are looking forward to presenting our collection.?
There haven?t been any concrete plans made yet for a Paris Fashion Week shindig, though Mary-Kate and Ashley will likely go for a more intimate setting versus a big fancy runway show.

Teaming up for a sisterly outing, Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen were busy partaking in the Fashion's Night Out festivities in New York City on Friday (September 10).
The "Full house" hotties attended the Elizabeth and James Pop-Up Shop celebration as they continue to enjoy a profitable post-TV career in the fashion industry.
Truly a lucrative family, Mary Kate and Ashley's little sister recently made headlines for landing a movie role in a brand new Indie flick.
The younger Olsen gal will be starring in a film called ?Martha Mercy May Marlene? which follows a young woman, who - after escaping a cult - moves in with her older sister.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are profiled in the September issue of Harper?s Bazaar. I have no idea what?s going on with them - they rarely do press, but Mary-Kate is the cover girl for Marie-Claire, and now this? Did they get a new publicist? Is this a new era in their press relations? I don?t know. Anyway, the whole Harper?s piece is pretty good, albeit somewhat short. The Olsens are basically promoting their line, The Row. My favorite quote is from Ashley: ?I?d love to get Michelle Obama in the Row. The simple suits and things. It?s all made in America, so why not?? Michelle should be wearing The Row. I wonder why she?s not?
Walk into the Row’s studio in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood and you will see no clothes. Sure, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, designers of the Row, have been credited as key to what those of short memory call “new minimalism,” but this is a little method.
“Oh, man, the clothes are gone,” sighs Mary-Kate, looking fine in a vintage red-and-black-spotted Yves Saint Laurent blouse, jeans, and skyscraper heels. “They’re off in sales,” explains Ashley, on brand in a slouchy Row sweatshirt, pant-skirt, and flat sandals.
That’s what happens when everyone wants what you’re selling. After 24 years of growing up in front of the American public, Mary-Kate and Ashley now occupy a desirable, influential position in the fashion world. After only three years in business, the Row, born with a luxury T-shirt, sits next to Rick Owens, Lanvin, and Azzedine Alaa in the world’s best retailers.
But this success didn’t come by accident or through money or connections. “We work,” the two stress almost simultaneously (six days a week, commonly). It’s a knee-jerk defense bred from years of intrusive pictures and tabloid gossip insinuating they did anything but. “Remember that crazy time when all of us young girls were being followed?” Ashley says. The two were like hunted animals, their only defense a venti Starbucks. Now that they have both moved to New York full-time, oddly, we see them less. “We’re either at home or here at the studio,” Mary-Kate notes. “I think they got bored of us.”
While you might guess that the Olsens’ sartorial preference?a long, covered-up look?might come from a desire not to be seen, you’d be wrong. Mary-Kate explains, “We’ve always been attracted to longer?” “Layers, silhouettes,” Ashley says, finishing her sentence.
“When we were growing up, our mother taught us never to have your belly button exposed,” Mary-Kate adds. This low-key, tempered sensuality is the spine of their collection. The Row lady doesn’t need to put it all out there because she has something going on “in here.”
This mood was reflected in the Olsens’ Fall 2010 presentation, just 19 looks in a simple palette, worn with the same summery flat: a black wrap coat, a precise white shift dress, a languid jumpsuit?all the pieces girls want but have a devil of a time actually finding. Resort had a similar quiet confidence, each look paired with vintage Prada loafers. Both Olsens are huge Prada fans.
“Miuccia’s spin always has a sense of humor, which I love,” Ashley says. “Cline’s quite amazing too,” adds Mary-Kate.
Though the two don’t fantasize about giving anyone a “Row-over,” they would like to dress the first lady. “I’d love to get Michelle Obama in the Row,” Ashley says. “The simple suits and things. It’s all made in America, so why not?”
But the two chalk up their first success to Lauren Hutton, whom both are “obsessed with” and who was shot for Forbes in 2007 “on a motorcycle in our leather leggings. I think there’s nothing chicer than that,” says Ashley. The Olsens have in fact already appeared in Forbes?the first time as kids. Toddler titans? “Nah,” says Ashley, giggling. “The Most Powerful Crawlers.”
So, newly 24, newly East Coast, but always in control, Mary-Kate and Ashley are, yes, getting their ducks in a row. And 24, the age when you can take New York by storm, is the perfect time to do it. “Ah, but,” says Mary-Kate, looking at Ashley with an old-soul smile, “we’re 48.”

I like them so much more now that they?re just doing the fashion thing, honestly. I buy them as legitimate designers with a vision of how a woman should dress. I?m not saying I agree with their vision 100%, although I do think The Row is one of the better houses out there - I?m just saying I buy them as legit designers, right up there with Narciso and Jason Wu and all.

She of the perpetually-pursed lips Mary-Kate Olsen says she and sister Ashley had hard-knock lives as little tykes. CelebrityFix says,
Former child starMary-Kate Olsen has talked about her tough showbiz upbringing, describing herself and her twin sister as ?little monkey performers?.
The Olsen twin grew up in front of the cameras alongside her famous sister Ashley, and she now admits it was sometimes tough.
The 24-year-old toldUS Marie Claire magazine, “I look at old photos of me, and I don’t feel connected to them at all? I would never wish my upbringing on anyone.”
“But I wouldn’t take it back for the world,? she added.
Mary Kate also revealed that her sister helps her to deal with her fast-paced lifestyle, acting and running their fashion house, The Row, in New York.
“Sometimes Ash and I have to bring each other back, or push each other more,? she said.
“It’s really helpful to have another half; we’re constantly checking in with each other.”
Of course you wouldn’t take it back, silly. You can beat me over the head with a stick, put a vest and fez on me and yell, “Dance, monkey, dance!”, but as long as I’ve got multiple twins of Benjamins, it’s all good. It’s all good.

The Olsen girls have steadily grown on me over the past year or so. I keep seeing their collection, The Row, featured in Vogue and other fashion magazines. They consistently keep their personal business locked down, and while I think both of them may have some issues with drugs and/or eating disorders, I also think that they?re consistently professional, ambitious, smart and increasingly cool. Also: they are the same age as Lindsay Lohan. That puts things into perspective, doesn?t it? Unfortunately, I still can?t tell them apart. Mary-Kate is the cover girl for the September Marie Claire, and MK is kind of going hardcore. She doesn?t go into great detail about her personal life and her family, but she certainly knows how to give some interesting quotes (Marie Claire piece here):

And when the topics turn to her tabloid-plastered problems with an eating disorder (she entered treatment for one in 2004) and with a hard-partying lifestyle (including her time with the late Heath Ledger), she only says that she’s learned to seek help when she needs it: “I think it’s really important to be able to talk when something’s wrong. I learned at a really young age that if you don’t talk about it, it can drive you insane.”
Her focus right now, as Cutter writes, is all to do with fashion. From the inception of The Row to their early successes ? “It took us a year-and-a-half to make the first T-shirt,” she says ? Mary-Kate takes it more seriously than anything else: “I still read scripts, and if something great comes along, that’s great ? but this is my day job. The Row is where I go every day.”

Honestly, when they were growing up, I thought Ashley and MK would totally have at least one major crash-and-burn between them. But I was wrong, and I am happy about that. Maybe it helps that they seem so close, and like they actually have each other?s backs so completely? Maybe it?s their shared passion for fashion. I don?t know. But good for them.

They've grown up in the spotlight since they were babies, and Mary-Kate Olsen is thankful for how she and twin sister Ashley keep each other in check.
"Sometimes Ash and I have to bring each other back, or push each other more. It's really helpful to have another half; we're constantly checking in with each other," the former "Full House" star told Marie Claire magazine's September 2010 issue.
After being scrutinized for her close friendship with Heath Ledger at the time of his 2008 overdose, as well as dealing with a public eating disorder, the actress turned fashion designer said, "I would never wish my upbringing on anyone...but I wouldn't take it back for the world."
With her troublesome times in the past, Olsen added, "I look at old photos of me, and I don't feel connected to them at all.?

Rounding out the work week, Mary Kate Olsen was spotted heading off to an office building in New York City today (July 16).
The ?Full House? hottie enlisted the services of a bodyguard to walk her to her chauffeured SUV as she drove off to a business meeting.
As for her uber-popular Olsenboye line for JC Penney, Miss Olsen?s fall line has been inspired by the trends in London, England.
Mary Kate and her sister Ashley designed the new collection to showcase the quirky street style of the city?s trendsetting teens and even filmed three short spots to show off the new looks.

She?s no stranger to high-profile industry events, and last night (June 17) Ashley Olsen was spotted at the Yves Saint Laurent Belle D?Opium Fragrance Launch.
The ?Full House? hottie looked beautiful as she arrived at the New York City shindig, sporting a snazzy black dress and a matching hat.
And it was more than just a run-of-the-mill fragrance launch- the event featured the choreography of Akram Kahn performed by French actress Melanie Thierry.
Ms. Olsen was in good company, as fellow celebrities Alexis Bledel, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Whitney Port all turned out as well.
