Paris Hilton arrived early to the Grammys with Mack Maine and Birdman, explaining that she’s on Birdman’s label and they’re finishing her record. As much as I want to write Paris Hilton off as a talentless hack trading on her name, she’s having the last laugh. She’s one of the highest paid DJs in the world and she’ll probably make millions off her latest throwaway overproduced pop drivel.
Paris was in this white Haus of Milani dress which featured a gauzy cutaway back and sides with stripes, curlicue designs and a tailfeather-like thing to cover her ass. Paris was just about the only celebrity that Ross and Kelly dared mock on camera on E! last night, although of course they were mild. They usually claim to like everyone’s terrible fashion when they’re on live, but Ross called this an ice skater dress. Look at all that hair piled on top of Paris’ head. Some of it might be hers.
Here’s Iggy Azalea doing white so much classier, in Elie Saab. I wish Iggy would stop slicking her hair back, but I really do like this gown on her. It’s a little edgy but feminine and pretty.
Songwriter/singer Skylar Grey was in flesh-colored leather Michael Costello. Like Iggy, she could have benefitted from better styling. Her dress had tiny holes in it along with cutouts along the stomach and back. The matchy earrings, too-long blonde extensions and peach makeup just looked a little cheap. Not as cheap as Paris though.
And here’s presenter Sarah Hyland in black and white Emilio Pucci. This is the best we’ve seen her look this awards season, I think. I love her youthful but bold makeup, her slightly messy updo and that cute colorblock dress with the shoulder ties and strappy heels. She’s looks incredible.
I think I found the worst-dressed of the Grammys. This is someone named Nadeea Volianova. Wiki says she’s a Russian singer, and she’s supposed to be 27! Maybe this was a case of mistaken identity, though. She was in high lace up booties paired with a green mullet dress barely covering her implants and adorned with sequins. She topped it all off with teased hair and gaudy mismatched jewelry. Classy.

Paris Hilton has capitalized on and bled dry pretty much every trend throughout her “career.” The latest trend she’s decided to leech onto is EDM. While she announced that she was going to be a DJ only last year, she’s already nabbed a residency in Ibiza last summer and now one at Harrah’s in Atlantic City.
Reports say Paris will play a four-gig residency at The Pool in a deal worth a reported $100,000K per appearance. She must take a golden dump on stage during her show because there’s no way she’s worth that alone.
What’s even dumber is that all she does is pop in pre-recorded music that other people produced and press play. It just goes to show, as long as you’re a semi-attractive rich girl willing to inhale a penis, the world is your oyster. What an inspiration.

Stepping out for an evening of celebration, Paris Hilton made a special appearance at Hyde Bellagio's New Year's Eve party in Las Vegas on Tuesday (December 31).
The 32-year-old former reality star donned a sexy black dress and heels as she made her way into the party.
Recently, Miss Hilton made a pretty big claim about her success as a new DJ.
When asked by shutterbugs how her new business was going, Paris stated, ?I love it. I?m one of the top five [DJs] in the world so??
While her self-confidence might be up, unfortunately for the hotel heiress, she?s far from the top five earning spinners.

Enjoying some down time, Paris Hilton got her ski bunny on in Aspen as she hit the slopes on Ajax Mountain.
The hotel heiress sported a red coat with fur-lined hood and black snow pants as she carried her equipment around.
Never short on self-confidence, the former reality star recently made a pretty big claim about her success as a DJ.
Asked by the paps how business was going, Paris replied, "I love it. I'm one of the top five in the world so..." Unfortunately for Ms. Hilton, she's far from the top five earning spinners as #5 Deadmau5 nabbed $21 million this year.

Returning from a trip to Moscow, Paris Hilton bragged to TMZ that she’s one of the top 5 highest paid DJs in the world. Cue hysterical laughter and then cue the soul crushing realization that this might almost be true.
Sure,Forbes recently released their list of the highest paid button pushers in the world and Paris was nowhere near that list, but she did recentlysign a significant contract with one of the biggest clubs in Ibiza, Amnesia. “Sources” tell TMZ that Paris pulls in an obscene $100k to $350k an hour for her sets.
So now Paris gets paid a quarter million to push play for a setlist she probably didn’t even create. How do I get in on this? Without having to stick a penis in my mouth, I mean?

Here’s a sobering thought around the holidays: Paris Hilton makes between $100,000 to $350,000 per hour when she does a DJ set. In a recent chat with a paparazzo at LAX, Paris mentioned in her monotone voice that “I’m one of the top five DJs in the world.” TMZ provides a link to Forbes’ top paid DJs, which doesn’t include Paris at this point but probably will soon. In the top five are Calvin Harris at $46 million, Tisto at $32 million, David Guetta at $30 million, Swedish House Mafia at $25 million, and Deadmaus at $21 million. Chances are high Paris made around $20 million for DJing this year and is using this list as comparison, noting that she’s earning as much as DJs who have worked in the industry for years and are seasoned musicians and producers.
Paris started DJing in the summer of 2012, drawing on her extensive experience dating DJ Afrojack for about a year. (Incidentally Afrojack is at #7 in that Forbes list.) Celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson described Paris Hilton’s entry into the field as similar to her “calling myself a doctor from like reading WebMD twice.”
It doesn’t matter if Paris’ competition doesn’t take her seriously, because she rakes in the dough. She’s not relying on her vast music knowledge or mixing skill to get bodies in the door, it’s all name recognition. TMZ notes that Paris is likely telling the truth about her earnings, because she has a fat contract with a top club in Ibiza, Amnesia, and is headlining at The Bellagio in Las Vegas this New Year’s Eve.
I looked for videos of Paris DJing and apart from one last year in which she seems pretty incompetent, all I could find was this promotional video from the Ibiza club. She’s good at dancing around, I have to say, but it’s telling to me that they put their own track on top of the footage.

Paris returned from a business trip to Russia the other day, and it looks like she’s spending Christmas in Los Angeles with her family. But we’re thinking she’s going to be ringing in the New Year somewhere fabulous in a bikini…

In our post yesterday about Paul Walker’s public memorial, I mentioned that there were messages flying on a plane overhead that was supposedly from Paris Hilton. The two banners, pulled by the same plane, read “R.I.P. God Be With Fast & Furious Star Paul Walker #269. Our Hearts Go Out To His Friends & Family [Heart] #17 Paris Hilton.” Many people assumed it was a tasteless message from Paris Hilton, trying to take credit for hiring a plane to capitalize on a tragic death.
