I?m sorry for all of the Paris Hilton news this week, but in my defense, her life keeps getting funnier. I know, I know – that?s so rude. But she?s Paris Hilton! How can you not laugh when her ?reputation? (as it is) takes hit after hit. Yesterday, Radar had a lengthy story about Paris being consumed with jealousy over Kim Kardashian?s superior famewhore game. A source even told Radar that Paris is super-jealous of Kim?s relationship with Kanye West, because Paris was with DJ Afro jack (the dude in these photos) and he?s not anywhere near as famous. This is what the ?source? said at the time:
?Adding to Paris? angst is that attention that Kim is getting from dating Kanye. Paris has been dating DJ Afrojack, but he?s nowhere near the fame league that Kanye is, and adding to that, the relationship has now cooled. He didn?t accompany Paris to Cannes and he didn?t go with her to Las Vegas for Memorial Day while he was working in Atlantic City. Afrojack is extremely busy with his gigs and plays nightly at clubs all over the country, and Paris isn?t going to go on the road with him and be a groupie. So you knew where this was going. After dating for only six months, Paris and DJ Afrojack are O-V-E-R. They were probably over weeks ago, my guess. His real name is Nick van de Wall – he?s Dutch. Does that explain it? No.
Wow, that was quick! Paris Hilton and DJ AfroJack have called it quits after dating for around six months, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Afrojack had moved into Paris’ Beverly Hills mansion earlier this year, and the two got very serious, very fast,” a source close to the former couple tells RadarOnline.com. “Paris was really into him and admires the work he has done. Afrojack did a lot of the work on Paris’ new album which will be released later this year. He took a lot of criticism for working with her, but he truly does believe that she has talent. Paris was smitten with him, but Afrojack just wanted to have fun and not be exclusive with anyone. He is on the road practically every day performing in clubs all over the world, and he just isn’t ready to settle down, whereas Paris is.”
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, 31, is working on completing a second follow up album six years after the release of her first one which sold only 197,000 copes. Paris has been focusing “all of her creative energy into her second album,” a source close to the former reality star says.
“Paris has been working with Flo Rida, LMFAO and David Guetta, and the album should be released this summer,” a source previously told RadarOnline.com. “Paris hopes to embark on a European concert tour to promote the album, which will consist of house music. She knows she has a lot riding on this project because her last reality show was canceled and she needs to do something to re-invent herself. Paris is hoping to appeal to a broader fan base and would love to use the album as a platform for a possible project with MTV. Yes, Paris is a very successful businesswoman, and she is about to release her fifteenth fragrance, but that isn’t enough for her. Paris craves the attention from the media and her fans and she is truly feeling the pressure to deliver on this, because she doesn’t have any other television or movie projects lined up.”
Meanwhile, Paris is likely to take her recent breakup hard, as friends of the socialite tell us, “Paris is having a hard time adjusting to the fact that she just doesn’t have the popularity or cache that she did five years ago. Paris has tons of money, but that isn’t enough for her. Look, she is still going to clubs on a very frequent basis and she is 31 years old. You don’t see a lot of people over 30 going to clubs, it’s almost sad to see. Paris would love to be married with kids, it’s all she ever talks about, but she hasn’t found her Prince Charming yet and she isn’t getting any younger.”

What started out as a breakup story ended up as an ad for Paris?s new album. Which? is just sad. Not to beat the feminism drum for Paris, though, I do wonder about this: ?Look, she is still going to clubs on a very frequent basis and she is 31 years old. You don’t see a lot of people over 30 going to clubs, it’s almost sad to see. Paris would love to be married with kids, it’s all she ever talks about, but she hasn’t found her Prince Charming yet and she isn’t getting any younger.? Yesterday, people slammed me for saying Idris Elba should stop partying so much at 39 years old, but I guess I have to say the same thing for Paris – she should stop with the club-hopping and partying to excess. Personally, I just think it gets really old once you?ve hit your 30s, but I guess that?s just me. But as for Paris being ?too old? to find her Prince Charming? whatever. She?s only 31. I don?t think many decent, quality dudes will want to marry her, but that?s not about her age, it?s about HER.

Paris Hilton was all over the Cannes Film Festival. Don?t even ask me why. I?m assuming she just came to party and be seen, although I?m sure she had ?business? in town too and thus, an ?official? reason for coming. Hilariously, Paris?s former famewhore protg Kim Kardashian was in town too, and Kim (and Kanye) soaked up most of the extra attention given to The Famewhores of Cannes. Virtually every blog ignored Paris, despite having new photos of her every single day. So once Paris?s famewhore protg has not only eclipsed her (Paris?s) fame, but exceeded it so spectacularly, what is left in the famewhore wake? Jealousy. Seething, petty jealousy.
Fading star Paris Hilton is jealous of her former friend Kim Kardashian’s ever growing career success and A-list boyfriend, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
The two socialites crossed paths several times last week during the Cannes International Film Festival and the former Simple Life star has since been lamenting to friends that she can’t stand her one-time pal’s flourishing television career and the attention Kardashian is getting from dating Kanye West.
As we previously reported, Paris and Kim have famously been mad at each other for years; however they did engage in some small talk last week during an embarrassing run-in on P-Diddy’s yacht, but the brief encounter had Hilton’s nerves frayed.
“Kim will always be a sore spot for Paris because she believes that without her Kim wouldn’t have the success she has in her life,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “Paris thinks Kim wasn’t a loyal friend to her and only used her to gain fame and that she is ungrateful for everything Paris claimed to do for her.?
“Paris is extremely jealous of Kim’s success with her reality shows as Paris’ last foray in television was a complete flop. Her show on Oxygen was a ratings disaster and didn’t get renewed. Adding to Paris’ angst is that attention that Kim is getting from dating Kanye. During a television interview in Australia recently, Hilton was asked, ?What about when you?re not famous anymore, what are you going to do?? The 31-year-old responded by saying that she ?just wants to be able to have children and have a normal life with my kids.” And, although she said it all with a smile, her publicist later made it clear that the heiress was not happy with being asked about losing her fame.
“Paris knows that Kim would have never been asked that question. Yes, she does have a very successful fragrance line but Paris thrives on the attention and she knows that Kim just gets a lot more than she does from the press, public, and even their mutual friends,” the insider says. “Paris is hoping that when she releases her upcoming album that her fans will embrace it. She has been working on it for several years now and hopes it will create a lot of buzz.”
Last July, Hilton became upset when Good Morning America reporter Dan Harris asked her if her ?moment has passed? following the disappointing ratings she got for her reality show, The World According to Paris, and being overshadowed by her former friend Kim Kardashian.
A peeved Paris walked off camera, leading to what Harris called “a long, heated conversation with Hilton and her publicist” before taping of the segment resumed. “You never see Kim acting like that ever with the press, even when she is asked if her marriage to Kris Humphries was a sham, or any other grueling questions. Kim always handles herself with class, clearly something Paris can’t say,” the source says.
So, is there any chance the former friends can officially bury the hatchet for good? Not a chance, says our insider.
“Look, their friendship wasn’t a genuine relationship to start with, meaning, it was all about Paris,” the source says. ” Kim doesn’t think about Paris at all or miss her as a friend. Too much time has passed and they have both changed so much in that time. So while they may smile at each other at events they won’t be going out to lunch or dinner anytime soon.”

Instead of trying to be Kim Kardashian, I think Paris Hilton should try to be Nicole Richie. Except that she?s not smart enough to model herself after Nicole, and Paris isn?t even smart enough to surround herself with people who would advise her to do something like that. But wouldn?t that sort of work for Paris? Stop partying, get married, have a baby, remake herself into some kind of designer/businesswoman, get a supporting role as some kind of ?host? on a reality show. That would be the smart way for her to proceed, but Paris is so dumb, she thinks that she should just stick with her old plan – which Kim Kardashian has just co-opted and improved. I would feel bad for Paris, but? yeah, that?s not going to happen.

Making a fashionable arrival back into LaLa land, Paris Hilton was spotted arriving at LAX airport in Los Angeles, CA on Monday (May 14).
The former reality TV starlet looked chic in flare jeans, a deep v-neck cardigan sweater and sunglasses as she toted one of her own self-named handbags all while slashing a smile at the awaiting paparazzi.
As she made her way back to the states, the 31-year-old star took to her Twitter page writing, "Just landed back in from Europe and am already back at the gym for my 2 hour pilates session. #DedicatedToMyWorkOut #YES!" She later added, "Just landed back in LA. Can't wait to get home to all my pets. Missed by babies so much!"
In other career news, the blonde beauty is getting ready to release her new single "After Midnight" in June. In a recent interview with Ace Showbiz, the socialite opened about her new track saying, "I was just in the studio with Redfoo the other night, so we're going to be doing my new single with LMFAO. I'm so excited. The music's turning out so great and I can't wait to release it this summer."

Enjoying a bit of fresh air with one of her furry friends, Paris Hilton took her pooch for a bike ride along the tree-lined streets of Hollywood, California on Thursday (May 3).
Always stylish no matter what the occasion, the blonde socialite donned a pair of dark specs, a loose black tank top and her favorite dark wash PRVCY denim with a pair of blue sneakers.
Seemingly plugging the fashion brand's dudes during her post-outing message, Paris tweeted, "Love my new Prvcy Jeans, so comfy! They have some amazing new styles."
That's not the only style house Miss Hilton has pumped up the press for as of late, as earlier in the week the former "Simple Life" babe donned a frock from her her mother's new line, and later offering up a pic of the piece with a caption "Sitting pretty with @KathyHilton and @KyleRichards18 in our Kathy Hilton Collection dresses."

You’d think Paris would be happy that people are still paying enough attention to her to even bother interviewing her on network television. I think she’s still in denial about how much her “star” has fallen, and she’s also probably hoping to reclaim her celebutante greatness after the inevitable coming demise of the Kardashian Klan. Make no mistake, the vast majority of humanity looks forward to the day when no Kardasian-oriented television shows are left on the airwaves, but no one is looking forward to this moment more than Paris Hilton. Of course, she thinks their exit will mean her return to glory, but she couldn’t be more mistaken.
