Reese Witherspoon has become a whole new person over the past year. Coincidentally (or not so much), we just passed the one-year anniversary of Reese?s drunken ?Do you know who I am?/American Citizen? rant to a Georgia police officer. Reese and her power-player CAA agent husband Jim Toth were both arrested and they both seemed to undergo some radical changes following the incident. For one, Reese all of a sudden seemed much more accessible. She started getting pap?d with her children regularly, and Jim got trotted out for pap sessions too. There were rumors that Jim would go into rehab, but that never did happen. Instead, I think they?ve made an effort to party less, at least publicly, and force a happy-family image down the public?s throat. Reese?s new lifestyle company, Draper James, should be a central part of that, I think. So what about the rest of it?
Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth are now walking a straight line a year after their shocking arrest, a source close to the couple has revealed to RadarOnline.com.
?Reese and Jim have stabilized their out-of-control home life and are telling friends that their arrest was a huge wake-up call and the best thing that could have happened to their marriage,? the source added.
As Radar previously reported, the Walk The Line Oscar winner crossed the line big time after her husband Toth was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving outside Atlanta in April 2013. Trying to get her agent husband off the hook, Witherspoon then delivered the most hated celebrity line ever to the police officer, screaming, ?Do you know who I am??
The star got arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction, and both she and Toth were taken to jail. Witherspoon later publicly apologized, saying, ?I clearly had one drink too many.? Toth pleaded guilty and was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service, an alcohol-education program, and one year of probation while Witherspoon pleaded no contest and was fined $213.
?Reese lost her good girl image, but Jim also lost a lot of respect and good standing with his work colleagues over the incident,? the source noted. ?After some soul-searching, they resolved to change their lives ? and are now on a major fitness kick, have cut way back on the booze, and Reese has curbed her spending after finding out she blew $60,000 on clothes in just one year!?
Although the actress isn?t hurting for money, she?s decided to focus on building her small art collection instead, ?which is something that helped her bond with Jim early in their relationship. The thing that blew Jim away about Reese is how cultured and educated she is, not her abilities as a glamorous movie star. Reese has got her art bug back again and wants to fill their home with treasures that she and Jim can enjoy and that she can pass on to her kids.?
The source said the Legally Blonde beauty, who has daughter Ava, 14, and son Deacon, 10, from her first marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe and son Tennesse, 17 months, with Toth, 43, ?is getting a little tired of trying to look perfect and current every time she steps outside. Jim neither pressures her to be that way nor particularly cares about Reese being a fashion icon. He loves her for her mind. They?re in a much better and solid place now and everyone?s breathing a sigh of relief because it was touch and go for a while there and her drinking WAS getting out of control,? the source said.

Reese has lost weight in the past year. It wouldn?t surprise me at all if she was drinking significantly less, but she?s also been living at the gym ? it seems like she gets pap?d going into or coming out of the gym every other day. And if she?s spending less money in general? good for her. The real question (in my mind) is: are these just superficial changes because Reese and Jim messed up so badly and they just wanted to change their image? Or have Reese and Jim really changed their lives? I don?t know. Reese is still hanging out with Chelsea Handler regularly, so I doubt she?s changed that much.

Out to honor those who make a difference, Reese Witherspoon was on hand for the Colleagues' 26th Annual Spring Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Tuesday (April 29).
All dolled up for the occasion in a navy and green tulip dress, the "Sweet Home Alabama" star took the stage to introduce this year's honoree, Princess Charlene of Monaco.
The princess was presented the Champion of Children Award in recognition of her charity work.
The luncheon was held at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel and was sponsored by Oscar de la Renta.

Here are some photos of Reese Witherspoon posing for the paps over the weekend. I mean, I guess that?s what she was doing. The photographer was really close to her, she wore a cute mom outfit and she even smiled and gave the pap some angles to choose from in two different locations. To be fair, if my legs looked that awesome, I would be showing them off too. But for Reese, it does feel like this is Phase Two of her career. Phase One: movie stardom, A-list Oscar-winning actress and successful producer. Phase Two is the Gwyneth Paltrow/Jessica Alba/Jennifer Lopez/Jessica Simpson phase: branding ?Reese Witherspoon? as a fashionista, a down-home relatable mom and country girl. Reese announced in March that she was launching her own lifestyle site with Southern flare (Country Goop!), and now E! News has more info:
Reese Witherspoon’s new lifestyle company is coming along quite nicely, thank you very much! And now E! News can exclusively reveal that not only is the Oscar winner’s Goop-like venture called Draper James (in honor of her grandparents and her southern roots) but her plans also include opening a retail store next year.
A trademark application includes hundreds of items to full under the Draper James empire, including bed and bath products, lingerie, handbags, kitchenware, fragrance and cosmetics, furniture, swimwear, pens, pencils, stationary, swaddling blankets and even plastic storage containers.
An official description of Draper James reads, “This multi-channel lifestyle brand founded by Reese Witherspoon will emphasize her southern roots and personal style. The first store will open in 2015.”
Reps for Witherspoon declined to comment for our story. Witherspoon announced about five weeks ago that she was developing a lifestyle brand and had just hired C. Wonder president Andrea Hyde as her CEO. Before C. Wonder, Hyde was CEO of French Connection and Nicole Farhi. Her impressive resume also includes stints at Kenneth Cole and Gap Inc., Estee Lauder and Calvin Klein.
Sounds like Witherspoon is on the right track to giving Martha Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow a good run for their lifestyle money.

Draper James sounds like an architecture firm, right? Or two gay men (Buff Draper and James Scarfy) who run a profitable and fabulous interior design company. But sure, I?m sort of interested. I guess she couldn?t call it ?DON?T YOU KNOW WHO I AM?? Or even ?AMERICAN CITIZEN, INC.? Anyway, do you think Reese is making the right move by transitioning to phase of her career? She?s got an Oscar ? surely she should be working more an actress? But I guess not.

The ?This Means War? starlet smiled as she emerged from the popular supermarket with a few bags full of goodies and hopped into her car.
On Friday (April 26), Reese took to her Instagram account with a photo of her adorable 19-month-old son Tennessee James sprawled out next to a Taylor acoustic guitar.
She captioned the shot, ?I Crawl the Line #johnnycash #startingearly #countryfan4life,? referencing her much-loved role as June Carter Cash in the Johnny Cash biopic ?Walk the Line.?

Fueling up for a busy day, Reese Witherspoon got gas and breakfast in Los Angeles on Tuesday (April 15).
The "Sweet Home Alabama" star looked cute in a light yellow T-shirt with "Nashville" on it, a plaid shirt tied around her waist and blue jeans as she snagged a cereal bar and coconut water.
Over the weekend, the 38-year-old mother-of-three celebrated pal Drew Barrymore's baby shower at her home in the Hollywood Hills.
According to reports, the backyard party welcomed 50 guests, including Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow.
