| Chrissy Teigen in Zuhair Murad at the Oscars: pretty or too much? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

One of the highlights for the Oscars red carpet, especially with how dismal Ryan Seacrest is an interviewer and host (they need to give Giuliana that job instead of relegating her to the beginning and analysis phase), is seeing who shows who doesn’t seem like they should be there. Chrissy Teigen wasn’t necessarily in that category like say, Emma Roberts, but I often give her the side eye when she shows up at things so it’s a hard habit to break. She was there for her husband, John Legend, who performed the Oscar-nominated song from La La Land, “City of Stars” (which won last night), and starred in the film. Anyway Chrissy being Chrissy she had to wear an outfit with some sort of risk involved so she picked this form-fitting white Zuhair Murad with sequins an extremely high leg slit. When she first came on the red carpet last night I swear I could see through the top, but that wasn’t the case when she was interviewed on E!
Extra also has an interview with Chrissy and John and she seemed a little tipsy or high to me or something, it’s hard to put my finger on it but judging from the stuff she’s been sharing on snapchat lately I would say she pre-gamed. She told Mario Lopez that she got body makeup on the dress and that it was very tight. At the end of the interview, which you can see on Extra, she said “Did you see my pooka? No I didn’t do it again.” No one asked about that but ok.
As for whether I like it or not I think it has the idea of a beautiful gown, there are so many pretty elements, but together they’re off. I really like the random kind of splattered sequin pattern on the shirt, but the bodice is designed to make it look like her boobs are hanging out. Imagine the white part on the top extending across the chest and the nude-looking sequin part limited to a scoop neck instead of running across the whole front. The one sheer and one solid arm are cool and I like the slight train.
Ginnifer Goodwin was also in Zuhair Murad and I think it’s clear that Chrissy got the better gown from that designer. There are all sorts of things wrong with this crimson dress. It’s got both dotted and traditional lace separated by scalloped trim and patches of ribbed fabric and that same pattern is repeated in the huge bell skirt, with a separate liner underneath. Plus it has a high neck. I wish you could see my face right now, I’m frowning in disgust just trying to figure it out.

Since I mentioned Giuliana Rancic here she is in Georges Chakra. I really liked this gown on the red carpet and as mentioned I highly prefer her commentary to Seacrest’s. They need to give her more work because she does her homework, she knows the celebrities and their projects, she connects well with people and she knows and loves fashion. Seacrest was a joke. I thought this dress was pretty but it looked better on screen than it does in photos. She’s still very tiny I’ll say that.

Here’s Teresa Palmer from Hacksaw Ridge in silver sequin Prada. This dress has a serious shelf boob problem which was even more noticeable when she was sitting down. We’ve seen this with other Prada gowns and it makes me wonder how she got talked into this. Plus look at the torso, it’s bizarre how it extends down her waist. I tried to watch Hacksaw Ridge, I even bought it, but it was so ridiculously violent with laughable dialogue that I didn’t last more than a half hour. There were jump scares on a first date.

Chrissy Teigen’s liver must be working overtime, if the past few weeks are any indication. The 31-year-old model has already partied quite heartily in 2017, sharing drunk tweets from the Super Bowl on social media and chronicling her equally drunken adventures from Sunday?s Grammy Awards. The saga actually began on Saturday, with Chrissy posting a picture of her discolored hand, to ask for advice about getting green Fun Dip dye off of her skin. Side note: your kids eat that stuff. I?m hardly the queen of nutrition, but that can?t be good for you, right? Second side note, how the HELL does this woman eat Fun Dip? They give you a candy dipping stick for a reason, although Chrissy told Ryan Seacrest she used it as an “appetizer.”
At the Awards, Chrissy?s social media posting went into overdrive. Chrissy was definitely in full fangirl mode, gushing about chatting with Jennifer Lopez, dancing to Bruno Mars and worshiping at the altar of Beyonce. And, being the proud wife she is, she posted a picture of hubby John Legend on stage during the “Carpool Karaoke” sketch.

| Chrissy Teigen in Roberto Cavalli at the Grammys: lovely or forgettable? | Added 7 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Chrissy Teigen was her husband’s plus one at the Grammy’s last night and so she wore this kind of cookie cutter sexy black cutout gown by Cavalli. This is revealing without looking like it’s going to expose anything (she’s had that problem before) and it’s interesting without being particularly unique. I do like her styling as she’s ditched the too-long extensions in favor of a wavy lob. We saw a few of these last night and I like it.
In case you missed John Legend’s In Memorium performance with Cynthia Erivo you can watch it here.
Lea Michele was also wearing Cavalli and I have to say that her styling is terrible. She looks like a sexy zombie with that Pink eye makeup and what looks like no mascara or eyeliner. Her bronzer is in desperate need of blending. Is this what happens when you trust a new makeup artist to experiment on you? I would wash this off and do my own makeup if someone tried to send me looking like this to an event. Also she’s wearing a ton of body glitter, which is just try hard. This dress has fancy lampshade vibes and it’s both busy and fug.
Halsey was in a couture tracksuit by Christian Wijnants. She was going for a 90s TLC look and I think she could have achieved that while wearing the shirt which was intended to go with this outfit. She didn’t need to do the thirsty open jacket belly chain look, which Nev Schulman’s fiance did first.
Also, I like Haley’s outfit during the ceremony, a Julien Macdonald studded mullet dress, better. This was better looking in motion.

Country singer Maren Morris was up for a lot of awards, and she won in a single category, Best Country Solo Performance for “My Church.” She had a few outfit changes too. Maren’s purple Michael Costello gown on the red carpet was somewhat unimpressive despite the engineering which must have gone into making that lace bodice fit so snug. She changed into a different Michael Costello, a sparkly bodysuit with a cape, for her performance with Alicia Keys (you can watch that here) and her press room dress was Genny. I’m not feeling any of these and it’s like she’s taking fashion tips from Carrie Underwood.

| Chrissy Teigen on celebrities losing baby weight: that's not realistic | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

It’s been 7 months since Chrissy Teigen gave birth to her adorable daughter Luna, but it seemed like mere weeks for her to get back her pre-baby body. She tried, I guess, to relate to us common folk by posting a photo of her stretch marks, but it was kind of like having a teeny dent in a Bentley. Showing off her model mom curves on Instagram and on the cover of Cosmo could lead to unrealistic aspirations about losing weight after giving birth, but Chrissy, who?s not afraid to pull back the curtain on celebrity, felt the need to clear things up.
In New York promoting Stella Artois’ “Host One for the Holidays” campaign, the 30-year-old model stopped by TODAY to talk about her almost incomprehensible rapid weight loss and ‘fessed up that she had more than a little help shedding the pounds.
“Anyone in the public eye, we have all the help we could ever need to be able to shed everything. So I think people get this jaded sensation that everybody?s losing it so quickly, but we just happen to be the ones who are out there.”
“We have nutritionists, we have dietitians, we have trainers, we have our own schedules, we have nannies. We have people who make it possible for us to get back into shape. But nobody should feel like that?s normal, or like that?s realistic.”
[From TODAY]
She also gushed about discovering what a great Dad her husband John Legend was with Luna, who she admitted was a “Daddy?s Girl.” The 7-month-old starlet even has a cameo along with her mama in John?s video for his single “Love Me Now.” She said, “Whatever this father-daughter relationship is, it starts so quickly because I thought they grew into being Daddy?s girls. No, it was the second she came out.”
Chrissy also used the interview to once again address her social media critics, who bothered her to the point that she made her Twitter account private. As she recounted to TODAY,
“I can see things coming a mile away. I know that when I post something, if she’s in a car seat, I’ve got to be ready for the million people telling me she?s in the car seat wrong, even though she?s in there correctly.”
“At this point, I know what they’re going to say before they say it. If I’m holding her while I’m cooking, or if I?m holding her within 10 feet of a stove top, I?ve kind of just come to expect it.”
I can, honestly, understand why she?s fed up with the Mom-shamers. She?s a good Mom, maybe a little too enthusiastic about Halloween costumes, but a good mother nonetheless. She definitely doesn’t deserve the hate.
Now, let’s talk about some really good news from Camp Chrissy, she’s currently working on a second cookbook! Her first one, Cravings, is a favorite of some of CB readers, if the comments are any indication, and if she features recipes like the one for spicy mussels she put together for the Stella Artois event in this new one, it?s sure to be a best-seller.

| Chrissy Teigen sets Twitter account to private: 'cannot handle it anymore' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Chrissy Teigen – author, model, co-host and social media rabble rouser – has gone quiet. At least, her Twitter has. Long known for getting into squabbles online, Chrissy switched her Twitter to private on Tuesday because she’s ?not strong enough anymore.? What is she no longer strong enough for? Absorbing bad energy. According to Chrissy, the venomous hordes are not to blame this time. She’s ghosting Twitter lurkers to cleanse her day of negative vibes.
Like the many celebrities overwhelmed by Twitter vitriol before her, Chrissy Teigen has made her account private for now.
Teigen revealed that she had switched her privacy settings because she?s ?not strong enough anymore.?
Tweets sent from a private Twitter account cannot be shared, linked to or embedded. They can only be seen by the user?s confirmed followers who, for Teigen, number at 2.88 million. In other words, she still has a voice on social media ? just not one that can be heard by the entire internet.
?It?s not haters or trolls or generally mean people,? she continued, via Twitter. ?I just feel like I am absorbing bad s–t 24/7. My body and mind cannot handle it anymore.?
[From Huffington Post]
So I guess we can put away the handkerchiefs to dry our tears, Chrissy isn?t gone. I just can?t embed her tweets because I am not one of her 2.88 million confirmed followers. In addition she still has her Instagram and we can probably catch up with her through husband John Legend?s account. I have no problem with her rationale. I think we do absorb too much negativity online these days and shutting it off for even 24 hours can do the mind a world of good. Seriously. But you can also learn things from social media, like that 18 USC Section 1702 says opening someone else?s mail is a felony.
Right before she went Twitter silent, Chrissy was live-tweeting the VP debate from her and John?s VP Debate Watch Party. She also live-tweeted the last Presidential Debate, for which HuffPo declared her tweets as the True Winner. I don?t dislike, Chrissy, I really don?t, but I do not understand why she gets as much credit as she does. She?s clever and her recipes are fine, but she’s just that – fine. I guess I will continue to be in the dark, unless 2.88 million people aren?t enough and she switches her Twitter back on.
I adore this outfit, however

| Chrissy Teigen shows her stretch marks: 'lol my thighs have tributaries' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

A few months back, Chrissy Teigen shared a picture of her thigh with bruises and stretch marks on it. At the time, Chrissy said, “I was actually just taking a picture of the bruises and then I saw the stretch marks in there. I have those apps, the Facetune and Photoshopping ones, and I just didn’t feel like doing it anymore?and I’m never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now.” Chrissy gets an A+ for that last sentence. Chrissy is staying true to her word by just recently posting this to her Snapchat:
That is Chrissy thigh’s and those are her stretch marks – exposed and unedited. She just had her daughter Luna with husband John Legend four months ago. She told E! last month that she was being sensible about getting back in shape. “You just realize you have to give yourself time and understand that you push out a baby, and it took this long to put on the weight, and it’s not going to peel right off, and that’s OK. Enjoy your baby. Don’t go crazy.”
I love this, I love Chrissy?s take that this is what the body looks like, it?s natural and shouldn?t be seen as anything but normal. However, one question about Chrissy?s telling us not worry about post-baby weight: uhm, what? This is what Chrissy looked like in July, when she gave her weight quote. And remember when Corey posted this pic?

| Chrissy Teigen and John Legend want another baby 'sooner rather than later' | Added 8 years ago | Source: CeleBitchy |

Chrissy Teigen, 30, just gave birth to daughter Luna a little under two months ago but she and husband John Legend are already thinking about expanding their family. A source tells E! that these two “do want another baby sooner rather than later” and that “They both always wanted a big family.” Chrissy opened up last fall about her struggles with fertility and told People Magazine several months ago that she would likely have to undergo another round of IVF treatments. She said that “The number of embryos we have left is not matching the number of people I want at my dinner table.” It seems really soon to be thinking about another baby but if they want a big family I guess they’re feeling the pressure.
Incidentally, in that People interview from February, Chrissy was somewhat prescient about the response she would get on social media. She said “For me, the toughest part will be people?s critiques of our parenting ? that will be tough.” She has had some really ridiculous criticism, but she seems to be trolling the trolls too – like when she recently went to an NBA game with a doll and snapchatted it to give the impression she was bringing her baby courtside.
Chrissy knows exactly what she’s doing. In a recent Twitter feud with Piers Morgan, she joked that trolling wasn’t a job because she’s tried it. John and Chrissy were responding to a tweet Piers posted with a video of Muhammad Ali, right after Ali passed, in which Piers pointed out that Ali has said some controversial things about race and racial equality. It was not the time to throw shade, and Chrissy and John called Piers out on it.
.@piersmorgan you could test us by announcing your retirement.

Sometimes I feel sorry when Chrissy Teigen is mocked for her motherhood choices, like hiring a night nurse or spending a child-free evening out with hubby John Legend. This time, not so much. On Thursday, Chrissy decided to swipe back at her social media haters by wrapping a stuffed toy up in a blanket and trying to pass it off as her seven week-old daughter, Luna, at game 1 of the NBA finals. Then she posted a picture of the stunt on Snapchat, and joked, “Twitter is gonna get so mad.” Apparently no one really did, especially because she wasn’t able to bring the fake baby into the arena. She posted highlights of the stunt on her Twitter.
