This ^ is how I imagine Chrissy Teigen swanning back onto Twitter after 72 hours of shenanigans which left her deleting offensive old tweets about black children and temporarily making her Twitter account private after she was called out on her bullsh-t. There will always be people who like Teigen no matter what, and I get that. But I never have. I also don?t think it?s a good sign that her moment of self-reflection was so brief, nor do I think it?s a good sign that her Trump-like itchy Twitter fingers couldn?t wait to go back online.
To recap, chef Alison Roman did some white-lady hipster gatekeeping and called Chrissy a sellout. Chrissy then released a statement, only to be called out by other Twitter peeps about all of the times she?s bullied people and talked sh-t about children and teenagers. Chrissy made her Twitter private? for about 24 hours. She?s already back. She released a new statement about the Alison Roman situation and what she (Chrissy) has learned from this ordeal. She did that in response to a statement made by Roman, below:

The big conversation this weekend was about Alison Roman?s white-hipster attacks on Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. Roman said outright that Teigen and Kondo were sellouts shilling consumerism, and claimed that consumerism was inauthentic to their brand if not downright hypocritical. Yes, Roman chose two women of color for her hipster gatekeeping, and yes, Roman was doing the interview to promote her own product line. In the attacks against Teigen, Roman suggested that Teigen?s Cravings site and social media is basically a content farm and Teigen barely does anything herself.
Of course Chrissy Teigen responded on social media, because she lives on social media and she feeds on this kind of thing. Teigen had every right to clap back, and she did clap back with an initial tweet-thread, which I covered. Most people were on her side and this weekend was full of larger conversations about white chefs stealing cultural recipes and Anglicizing them, then getting credit and profit from that cuisine culture-vulture. The thing is, Chrissy Teigen lives on the internet and she kept going. Lots of people were throwing some old stuff back in her face, like the time she made some unfortunate tweets about Quvenzhan Wallis (who was only 9 years old at the time), or all the times she inserted herself into C-list drama for attention Nicki Swift compiled a list of ?shady? things Chrissy has done online and in interviews.
So, basically, there was a backlash to the backlash. It went from ?Alison Roman attacks Chrissy Teigen, poor Chrissy,? to ?well, Chrissy isn?t cool either.? So now Chrissy is taking a break from social media:
Looks like Chrissy Teigen would like to be excluded from this narrative. On Friday, best-selling cookbook author Alison Roman made headlines with comments she made about Chrissys business model in the food world. Soon after her comments made rounds on social media, people went to Chrissys defense but it looks like things might have taken another unexpected turn over the weekend.
On Twitter this weekend, Chrissy wrote: This is what always happens. The first day, a ton of support, then the next, 1 million reasons as to why you deserved this. It never fails.
It seems as though the Cravings author might be referring to old resurfaced tweets from years past that Twitter users found problematic. Now, Chrissy has made her Twitter account private and decided to take a little break.
I really hate what this drama has caused this week, she added. Calling my kids Petri dish babies or making up flight manifests with my name on them to Epstein island, to justify someone elses disdain with me seems gross to me so Im gonna take a little break.

News makes it sound like there wasn?t a full weekend of drama and people on Chrissy?s timeline, reposting all of her problematic old tweets? only for Chrissy to first delete those tweets then make her account private. To be clear, no one is arguing that Roman?s interview wasn?t shady and no one is saying that Roman is NOT problematic for attacking women of color. We?re just saying that no one should throw out their back caping for Chrissy Teigen.
I won?t forget how Chrissy Teigen used her platform to make fun of Quvenzhan Wallis, who was a child at the time. She?s also known for being shady and rude to others but now she wants to act butt hurt because Alison Roman threw shade at her culinary line? Oh well. ?????

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend made a date night out of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. That?s what all the sites said, but they always say that it?s a date night for them anytime Chrissy and John show up somewhere. John looked great in a classic tux, he always does. Chrissy looked too busy in her layered chiffon Georges Hobeika. Something nice, I love the color and the dress?s parts moved beautifully. But there is so much going on. The halter top with braided shoulder and empire waist gave her upper half a beach cover up vibe and the bottom looked like the dress got caught in a shredder. Her makeup was good but her hair was too severe for such a playful dress.
Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade were producers on Hair Love, which won for best animated short last night. The Hair Love team invited DeAndre Arnold, who was suspended from school for refusing to cut his dreadlocks, to join them at the Oscars so it was especially neat that Hair Love won. For the VF party, now Oscar-winner Gabrielle wore this white Giambattista Valli dress that looked to be a white strapless body suit with a sheer lace overlay. It?s not my favorite but she looked comfortable and her hair and makeup were gorgeous. I like the belt a lot, but the appliqus on the skirt give the impression of a toilet paper roll cover. I dont hate that she and Dwyane coordinated their lace looks, though.
Tiffany Haddish went super glam in this shimmery, off-the-should gown. I love everything about this. I love crossover in the front giving her a bi-level hem effect without the actual mullet. Tiffany?s hair looks gorgeous swept up like that and I love her chandelier earrings. She could have done a pop of color with her shoes but honestly, I would have stuck with all black too. This look complements Tiffany in every way. Oh, and Tiffany met up with Brad Pitt at the party. Remember in 2018 she joked they?d made arrangements to hook up if they were both still single? I doubt anything happened because if it had, Tiffany would have had that all-over social media.

Chrissy Teigen was in this bizarre orange gown by Yanina Couture. It had giant ruffle shoulders, a v-neck so deep it looked like she would be exposed any second, a dumb ruffle peplum AND a waist high side slit. Theres just too much going on with this gown. Show either boobs or legs, not both. As for Chrissys styling, I like her earrings and her makeup is subdued and pretty. Im glad I dont live in LA or I would do too much to my face too. Shes beautiful, but you can tell. Thats all Im saying about that. Oh I did like John Legends cool half long jacket.
Heidi Klum is also married to a musician, Tom Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel, so she had good reason to be there, unlike a lot of other events she attends. She was in Dundas, also very bad and ill-fitting. This might be ok if it was tailored to her instead of hanging there. Unlike Chrissy she has bad styling too. My spidey sense is telling me something is wrong in her marriage, but I checked her Instagram stories and she posted a few videos with Tom. They were seated in the upper level, which seems like they got put in the cheap seats.
Model Alessandra Ambrosio was in this weird half-nun habit half-shorts look by Balmain. Balmain should stick to the mirror dresses they do so well. This is an interesting concept (see John Legend), taken too far and executed poorly.

Aloha CB Fam. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, for those who celebrate it. I enjoyed mine, which is truly saying something because I hate Thanksgiving. Someday we?ll sit down with some sugar-free hot cocoa and delve into all my food issues and my awful extended family members that went into molding those opinions but for now, I just want to mark this year down as a win. Cravings cookbook author Chrissy Teigen also had a win for her Thanksgiving by cooking the perfect turkey. She showed it off on Twitter by pointing out how perfect turkeys look plastic. But it was the last line of her tweet that divided the nation, which I can only imagine thrilled Chrissy to no end. Chrissy made the controversial comment that, ?turkey sucks @$$ always.? Discuss:

Sunday night, Donald Trump decided to hate-tweet John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. Trump?s beef was about how Legend didn?t give Trump credit for criminal justice reform? or something. Mostly, I think Trump just gets mad at African-Americans for not being ?grateful? enough and for not thanking him constantly. Which is actually a whole other conversation, and a conversation we?ve been having for years. Anyway, the story became a thing because, duh, the president was randomly hate-tweeting two popular celebrities, and because Trump was stupid enough to NOT tag Chrissy. He instead referred to her as Legend?s ?filthy-mouthed wife.? As I said on Monday, Chrissy lives on the internet. Trump came into HER house and of course she?s going to make this into a thing. She called him a ?p-ssy ass bitch.? And now she?s basically doing an interview tour.
Chrissy Teigen sits down for an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, which will air on the Wednesday (September 11) episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The 33-year-old model and TV personality unpacked the whole feud that she and John Legend got into with President Trump earlier this week on Twitter.
?Well, John did a story on MSNBC about criminal justice reform, so he was a part of that interview. I was not a part of it at all. And Donald, for some reason, thought John was taking all the credit for it, and me, and I didn?t even know he was filming this thing. Honestly I didn?t even know anything about it,? Chrissy said. ?He just went in. He called John a boring musician and his filthy-mouthed wife. Which, those two things are true. John is boring. I do have a filthy mouth,? she said. ?But when the card lands on you that day, it?s really just like, ugh, crap. Your whole night is ruined. We spent the entire rest of the night just sitting next to each other, handing each other our phone, ?Should I say this? Should I say this?? ?No.? ?Should I should say this? ?No. It has to be funnier.? ?No, because we?re mad.??
The tweet that Chrissy ended up writing said, ?lol what a psy ass bitch. tagged everyone but me. an honor, mister president.? Ellen said that she couldn?t say it on live television, so they had to show it with censors!
?I?ve really gotten to this point where I don?t want to offend people just for a joke,? Chrissy said about how she?s changed her style on Twitter recently. When it came to replying to Trump she said, ?It was a weird feeling. I was really angry. I think my eyes filled up with water just at the shock of it. The, ?I can?t believe this really happened right now.? He just goes on these rants, usually very late at night for him. You just wait for him to say something, but you don?t think it?s going to be you.?

Since every day in Trumplandia feels like a decade, I remember when Trump first started hate-tweeting celebrities AS PRESIDENT. Like, he was the president-elect, on the verge of the inauguration in January 2017, and he decided to hate-tweet Meryl Streep hours after the Golden Globes. That was shocking at the time, but after two and a half years, we?ve literally gotten used to it. It?s not that we?ve normalized it, it?s just that we?ve gotten so used to this broken man with a broken brain who is breaking everything in our country. It?s only news for about ten hours that THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES insulted John Legend and his nameless ?filthy-mouthed wife? because the Dumpster thought he wasn?t being given enough credit for something for which he deserves no credit. This era is bonkers.

Chrissy Teigen is a polarizing person, but I appreciate how shes living out loud and how she and her husband are as liberal as we are and regularly call out deplorables. She creates a lot of content and shes somewhat like the Kardashian Jenners in that shes easy to cover and has made a cottage industry out of that. Most of the time we ignore her unless its a particularly slow gossip week or she does something notable. This time shes getting Botox in her armpits, which is interesting to me! People Magazine is covering this or I wouldnt have noticed, frankly, I dont have the time or interest to watch all the celebrity Instagram stories. People recaps how Chrissy previously admitted she got the fat sucked out from under her arms and liked the results. *ponders this* Heres Peoples report and Ive included some screencaps below. This video is still available as of now, if you press the right arrow nine times on her stories. (She posts so damn much!)
In the clip, Teigen can be seen lying on her back as Dr. Jason Diamond injects botox into her pits.
It appears she was a bit nervous about the procedure as she held a piece of cloth over her mouth.
However, her worries were soon over as the process only took a few minutes.
?That really isn?t anything,? Teigen says before taking a sigh of relief. ?It looked very frightening.?
?That?s it,? Diamond tells her.
This isn?t the first time Teigen has opened up about getting work done to her armpits.
In a 2017 interview with Refinery29, Teigen revealed ?I had an armpit sucked out, which was one of the best things.?
?It?s a big secret, but I don?t care. It was nine years ago or so. And I had two inches to my armpit. Now it?s back though, so now I?ve gotta pay for [liposuction] again.?
?It was so easy. It made me feel better in dresses; I felt more confident. It was the dumbest, stupidest thing I?ve ever done. The dumbest, but I like it, whatever. I have no regrets, honestly.?

I dont sweat, just a small to average amount I think. I once met a lady who has that sweating disorder, hyperhidrosis, and she explained (I met her in a group) that she is self conscious about it and that she doesnt shake hands for that reason. I could see getting Botox for that so you feel more confident, but this is kind of superficial. Chrissy would admit its superficial though, she doesnt care, and I like how she explained getting the fan sucked out of her armpits. I would get my batwings (that problem area under your upper arms) fixed! Ive been lifting more and theyre a little better but they still bug. Also, Chrissy looked kind of Botoxed and filled in that video without makeup on. Its hard to tell though and it seems like if she was getting her face done she would admit that too. Oh she did admit shes done work to her face, I just searched on it. She just didnt go into specifics. Fair enough!
Also she shared a video opening a package of tiny food from Real Littles, which is a Shopkins toy brand. I am so going to feature this in the next Amazon post as its very cute. I need to do research on these toys first though.

I don?t have patience for people who body-shame. I also find discussions of people?s butts bizarre. I don?t understand why people care that someone else?s butt is more round, more flat, or something in between. So, I had no idea that people cared about Chrissy Teigen?s butt. But apparently, it became a point of discussion on Twitter, thanks to a photo that?s making the rounds, and Chrissy wasnt amused.
Chrissy is standing in a hot tub (?) on a boat and is holding Miles and giving him a kiss on the side of his head. John is sitting in the hot tub next to and behind Chrissy and Miles. From the camera angle, it looks like he is looking at her butt. Had that been all, Twitter might have left it alone, but because his face is slightly scrunched, someone on Twitter decided that John was reacting negatively to Chrissy?s backside. Chrissy retweeted it and admitted she had no ass.

Regardless of what you might think of them, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend sure make some adorable babies. The 39-year-old singer and his 32-year-old wife announced on Wednesday that they welcomed their second child, a son, into the world. Their daughter, Luna, just turned two.
John and Chrissy took a few days to decide upon a name for the new arrival and on Sunday, it was revealed. On the red carpet of Sunday night?s Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, John told E! News that they decided upon Miles Theodore. He shared:
?We named our first daughter Luna Simone Stephens [after legendary jazz singer Nina Simone], and every name we give to our kids I think will have a little bit of musical history to it.?
?So Miles, of course, is the same name as the great Miles Davis, and Chrissy really liked the name Theodore, so we put it all together and got Miles Theodore Stephens. When he came out and we hung out for him for a little, we were like, ?He looks like a Miles.??
?We?re so excited to have him in the family now. Chrissy?s excited, Luna?s excited, I?m excited. It?s nice to have a little family of four now.?

Our household feels overwhelmed with love. Thank you for all your well wishes!? What an adorable baby. This photo made my grinch no-kid-having heart grow a few inches. And that name. Miles is a great name, and I?m not just saying that because a good friend of mine also named her baby after Mr. Davis.
