Soon after The White Lotus?s Season 3 ended, TWL?s creator Mike White spoke to journalists about where the fourth season could take place. White obviously hasn?t written anything yet, and he and his team are still scouting locations. White said: ?For the fourth season, I want to get a little bit out of the ?crashing waves against rocks? vernacular.? The first season was set in Hawaii, the second in Sicily, and the third in Thailand, all of them very beachy and sunny. Some suggested that White could go for a ?safari? resort, perhaps basing the drama in a Four Seasons hotel in Kenya or Tanzania. Someone suggested an Egyptian adventure too, perhaps something set amid the pyramids. Some suggested a ski holiday, which I could also see being a rich background for TWL?s shenanigans. All of these are good ideas, but according to NewsNation?s gossip person, White?s team has been scouting? the Cote d?Azur??
Fans of ?The White Lotus? were devastated at the end of the hit HBO show?s third season, wondering when the next season will hit ? and where it will be.
Speculation online arose that instead of being at a seaside resort as the last three seasons have been, the upcoming season would be mountainous (Season one was filmed at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Hawaii; season two was in Sicily and season three was in Koh Sami, Thailand).
But the rumors are untrue. I can now reveal the latest season is likely to be filmed in the south of France, at the Four Season-owned Hotel du Cap-Ferrat. My insider says creator Mike White and his crew are in the South of France right now scouting all locations and the Hotel du Cap, described once by producer Robert Evans as ?impossibly glamorous,? is perfect for the scandalous, murder ridden show.
A favorite during Cannes, the hotel is always full of royalty, celebrities ? and scandal. According to the Rake, ?Pablo Picasso and Gary Cooper apparently once set up a shooting gallery in the gardens, and more recent incidents have included American industrialist Marvin Davis being robbed of $10 million in cash and jewels at gunpoint in his limo in 1993; Kate Moss being banned for trashing her room after being told she couldn?t wear a bikini in the hotel?s hallways in 1998; and Sharon Stone demonstrating her ability to flash the readies in more ways the one by simultaneously ordering a harpist in traditional Irish dress and a Nebuchadnezzar of Champagne.?

Honestly, it?s been years since the South of France has had a big, scandalous story. Scandals used to pop up all the time in and around the Cannes Film Festival especially, but it?s been years since we?ve heard anything about random jet-set cokeheads yacht-hopping amid the glitterati. I could honestly see TWL coming in and trying to build on that faded luster and bygone scandal? but I still wish they would choose a place which has less pop-culture history, you know? ?Oh, they?re filming in the hotel where Lindsay Lohan used to do blow and steal jewelry!? And??

During filming on It Ends With Us, Justin Baldoni attended what he thought would be a production meeting between himself and Blake Lively at Blake?s NYC apartment. He was surprised that Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift were also at the meeting, and that Taylor and Ryan seemed strangely insistent on using ?Blake?s rewrites? on the IEWU script. Baldoni felt weird about the meeting, and after he left, Blake sent him text messages with an implied threat: that she is the Khaleesi and Ryan and Taylor are her protective ?dragons.? Baldoni left Blake a voice memo soon after which came across as very defensive. All of this the texts, the meeting, the voice memo came out in all of the back-and-forth lawsuits and court-of-public-opinion jostling earlier this year.
Soon after the Khalessi text was released by Baldoni, we heard that Taylor Swift was pissed off at Blake, and she felt like Blake had been ?leveraging? Taylor?s name and their friendship for a while. We also heard a few weeks ago that it was more than likely that Taylor would be subpoenaed for a deposition, at the very least, and that she would likely have to testify in court. Well, surprise! Taylor has been subpoenaed.
Taylor Swift has been subpoenaed as a witness in Blake Lively and Justin Baldonis ongoing legal battle over behind-the-scenes conflict on their movie It Ends with Us.
A spokesperson for Swift, 35, emphasized the singer has had no close connection to the film other than her song My Tears Ricochet being used, and that the subpoena is to create tabloid clickbait.
Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history, a rep told PEOPLE.
The connection Taylor had to this film was permitting the use of one song, My Tears Ricochet. Given that her involvement was licensing a song for the film, which 19 other artists also did, this document subpoena is designed to use Taylor Swift?s name to draw public interest by creating tabloid clickbait instead of focusing on the facts of the case, the spokesperson continued.
PEOPLE is out to attorneys for both Lively, 37, and Baldoni, 41, for comment.

Mmm, Taylor and her team are usually smarter than this. Keep in mind: Taylor wasn?t added as a co-defendant in Justin?s lawsuit. She?s not being sued she was just subpoenaed because she has knowledge of a vital part of this case. There was a production meeting at Blake?s apartment and Taylor was present at the meeting and a witness to whatever happened at the meeting. According to Baldoni, Taylor wasn?t just a witness, she was actively involved in trying to convince Baldoni to use Blake?s rewrites. Something happened within the meeting which is a key element to both sides and it led to a flurry of texts and voice memos. Blake used Taylor, Taylor?s name and Taylor?s influence to pressure Baldoni to use certain ?rewrites? and perhaps even more than that. During the promotion of IEWU, Blake and other people involved with the film could not keep Taylor?s name out of their mouths either and all of that is on the record, and it will be part of the questioning for Taylor?s deposition.

Beyonce?s Cowboy Carter tour began in late April with five concerts at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. Tons of celebrities have come out to see Bey?s concerts, and Beyonce has included her daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi in the shows as well. Since the tour began, I?ve seen a lot of funny stuff from the Beyhive about how the show isn?t 100% up to Beyonce?s perfectionism but they?re working it out.
Well, by the fifth show at SoFi, I think they worked it out. Just in time for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to attend! During the 2023 Renaissance World Tour, Meghan went to at least two of the concerts, and Harry went to at least one. Harry seems to be as big of a Beyonce fan as Meghan, and Meghan is absolutely a card-carrying member of the Beyhive. So much so that Beyonce?s official photographers always get photos of Meghan behind-the-scenes. Which is how we got this gorgeous shot of Harry and Meghan this comes via Beyonce?s official site, Beyonce.com. There were also fan-videos of Harry and Meghan, but yeah this is very official, Beyonce adores the Sussexes and they?re part of Bey?s inner circle. Blue probably laminated their Hive cards.

They dressed on-theme too, just like for the Renaissance concerts. In 2023, the unofficial dress code was ?wear something sparkly or glittery.? The Cowboy Carter dress code is country-and-western and Americana lots of flags, denim, cowboy hats, fringe, etc. Meghan wore a denim Carolina Herrera dress which looks amazing on her. Harry did a sort of cowboy/outdoorsman look. Bless his heart, he tried. My favorite comment was basically ?Harry only comes outside to sue his family and go to Beyonce concerts.? I know that?s right.
