Just before Christmas, Ariana Grande announced her engagement to Dalton Gomez. Ari and Dalton had dated throughout most of 2020 they were in the early stages of their relationship in March when they decided to go into lockdown together in LA, with several other people, all in the same house. In lockdown, their love grew stronger and they seem to be loved-up and happy. But will a quarantine romance still flourish post-corona? I don?t know. Ari?s friends don?t know either they think Ari and Dalton rushed their engagement.
Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez had a whirlwind romance that resulted in the two getting engaged at the end of last year. While the couple is very in love, a source tells ET that some of their friends think their engagement was rushed.
Ariana and Dalton have been spending a ton of time together since getting engaged and keeping things pretty low key and private, the source says. They?re mainly keeping to themselves and just enjoying their time together. However, the source adds, They?re very in love right now, but friends think the engagement was somewhat rushed and are skeptical that the relationship will ultimately be short lived.?
Grande and the luxury real estate agent got engaged nine months after news broke that they were dating. The Thank U, Next singer shared the news on Dec. 20, showing off her diamond and pearl engagement ring.

I mean, I?m skeptical that the relationship will ultimately be short lived, but that?s not because of a ?rushed? engagement. I just think Ari is like Jennifer Lopez, she?s one of those ?I always need a boyfriend? women, and she?s always in a perpetual cycle of ?getting super-serious? and ?getting over a super-serious relationship by finding someone new to get super-serious with.? That being said, Ari isn?t a kid anymore. She?s 27 years old, the same age as Miley Cyrus, and just a year younger than Cardi B and Selena Gomez. Ari is two years older than Megan Thee Stallion! My point is that we don?t have to cover Ari in bubble wrap and try to save her from relationship mistakes. She?s a grown ass woman and she knows what she?s doing. Also: I don?t even consider an engagement after roughly ten months of dating (including living together) to be all that rushed?

Ariana Grande isn?t letting a few missed salon appointments get her down. With hair, skin and nail salons classified as non-essential businesses, most have closed, hopefully just temporarily. But like so many of us stuck-at-home, Ariana chooses not to see this as a challenge and to do it herself. She first took the opportunity to let her hair down, literally. Losing her signature ponytail extension, Ariana gave us a glimpse of her natural curls on Twitter. Since then, she?s proudly letting her Quarantine Curls fly free to the delight of her IG followers.

Ariana Grande made one of the more dramatic entrances at the Grammys in this absolutely voluminous Giambattista Valli. She said her stylist, Law Roche (he also does Zendaya, Celine Dion and Jameela Jamil), cried when he saw her in it. This dress reminded me so much of the giant iconic Pink dress Rihanna wore to the 2015 Grammys so I checked and that was also by Giambattista Valli. I love it and I think Ariana is working it. Shes not working GV as much as Rihanna did, but thats a very high bar. I missed Rihanna last night but its been four years since she brought us a new album!
Also I read some criticism on Twitter of Arianas gloves. I agree she could have gone without the gloves. Ariana did a medley of her hits last night that was a little subdued, but I loved the sets, she had a whole rotating bedroom, and her dancers were incredible. Ariana was nominated in four categories, all of which went to Billie Eilish or Lizzo. Oh and she came with her parents, which was cute. Heres a side by side of Ari and Rihannas looks.

Ariana Grande released a new song and video on Monday with Victoria Mont called Monopoly. While weve only seen Ari dating (and recycling) guys, the lyrics suggest she might be into women too. They include I swerve both ways, dichotomy and I like women and men, Work so fn much, need a twinny, twin, twin. Victoria is a cowriter of the song and shes openly bisexual, so this part might not even be written by Ariana, but it still got fans speculating about Arianas orientation.
In response questions about that, Ariana clarified that shes not going to label her orientation.

Ariana Grande is just 25 years old. I remember dealing with plenty of sexism and bullsh-t at that age, early in my career. The fact that Ariana is calling out the producer of the Grammys for misrepresenting the reason why shes not performing this Sunday is frankly inspiring to me. As background, Ariana is not going to attend Sundays Grammy Awards because producers dictated the terms of her performance. They would not let her perform her #1 hit, 7 Rings, and made demands of her performance which were not required of other artists. They did something similar to Lorde last year, although Lorde was nominated for Album of The Year. So Ari was like see you, not showing up. A producer told Variety that Ariana wasnt going to be there because would not have had enough time to prepare her performance. Ariana just called them out for that by name.
