It?s very common to see an actor or actress out and about with their children in a very family-friendly, paparazzi-friendly situation on the same weekend that their film has come out. Some actors have made it a fine art ? think of Ben Affleck?s Oscar campaign, think of how Brangelina manages to get pap?d with their kids when one of them has a movie opening. (sidenote: I?m looking forward to seeing the Jolie-Pitts soon considering Brad?s WWZ is coming soon.) Well, we can add Elsa Pataky to the list. Only this outing ? on Sunday, in Malibu ? was more of a pap-friendly victory lap rather than promotion.
Maybe Elsa has got us so programmed after months of pap-ing herself, her baby and her husband (Chris Hemsworth) that it?s now noteworthy when she goes out with baby India Rose and no Chris. I?m actually sort of surprised that Chris didn?t manage to get pap?d with his wife this time around ? after all, her movie (ha) did do really well at the weekend box office. Fast & Furious 6 made $120 million from Thursday through Monday, making it the biggest Memorial Day weekend box office in history. And Elsa was a part of that! Do you think she gets credit for it? Perhaps. Although I don?t really think ANY of the actors should get credit. Are people really going to see these movies for Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, The Rock, Michelle Rodriguez or Elsa? No. They?re going for cars, stunts and mindless action. Still, cute baby.

This is for all of the people who love (to hate) Elsa Pataky, otherwise known as Chris Hemsworth?s wife and mother of their daughter India Rose. Elsa has ? from what I can see ? a supporting part in Fast & Furious 6. That?s not what I would consider a major role or a major career-maker, but that role taken with the fact that she?s Mrs. Hemsworth means that Elsa is somehow important enough to cover multiple international issues of Women?s Health Mag. I?m including an English and a Spanish cover version ? both feature Elsa?s butt rather prominently. It helps that she?s got a really nice ass. Damn. Her body is pretty great, if truth be told. She looks athletic and healthy.
Elsa told Women?s Health: ?Exercise is like an addiction. Once you?re in it, you feel like your body needs it.? She says that to stay in shape, she does strength training twice a week, and then yoga or Pilates three or four times a week and then some boxing too. Incidentally, Elsa recently commented on the Miley Cyrus-Liam Hemsworth situation too ? despite wide reports that Elsa was and is anti-Miley, Elsa told E! News, ?We don’t want to get too much into their personal life; we just want them to be happy.?
The paparazzi also managed to find Elsa, India Rose and Elsa?s mom in Brentwood yesterday. I know, how absolutely shocking! I?m surprised Chris wasn?t talked into a pap session too, after all Fast & Furious 6 isn?t going to promote itself. India is such a cutie but I really worry that her mom has posed her so obviously on the sidewalk. Hm.

Here are some photos from the ?world premiere? of Fast & Furious 6. They?re just going to keep churning these out, aren?t they? My aunt loves them. She loves Vin Diesel. I don?t get it, but sure. Anyway, I just thought you?d like to see some photos from the premiere, especially since Celebitchy Fan Favorite Elsa Pataky was there. Surprisingly (or not?), Elsa?s husband Chris Hemsworth was not on hand to support his wife. Huh. Anyway, I know many of you think she?s quite ?tacky? but she?s been looking pretty good on red carpets lately. This dress is very ?look at me!? but it works.
Here?s your new ?Crow? Luke Evans.
Paul Walker. Does he get ANY other work besides these movies?
Vin Diesel. Ugh. Is his head lumpy or is this just a weird photo?
And here?s Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. I love Michelle. I can?t even explain it, I just love her. I like the fact that she ?tried? to really get done up for the premiere, but I think the dress is too girly for her. She needs something cleaner and more minimalist. Jordana is blah. Pretty girl, but forgettable. Jordana is wearing Jenny Packham, one of Duchess Kate’s favorite designers.

At this point, I?m sort of torn about Elsa Pataky. She definitely leveraged her slight fame years ago (when she was absolutely barely D-list) into what has turned out to be an A-list match with one of the biggest up-and-coming movie stars around, Chris Hemsworth. I often compare the Pataky-Hemsworths to the Garner-Afflecks, but to give Jennifer Garner some credit, Garner had her own fame-base and her own film and TV career before she started with the whole ?Patron Saint of Mothers? thing. Elsa really didn?t have anything like that. She?s just a pretty Spanish actress who had done a handful of projects that no one had seen outside of Spain, and she social-climbed her way into an advantageous marriage, and now Elsa is known as ?Chris Hemworth?s wife? and ?that chick who gets pap?d more often than Jennifer Garner with her baby?. Should we respect her game and her naked ambition? Should we applaud her for being so hungry for attention so openly? I don?t know. That?s why I?m torn.
Anyway, I felt some mild annoyance AND some mild respect that Elsa was able to leverage her marriage and her child into what I?m sure will be the first of many People Magazine stories about how Elsa mothers her baby girl.
Elsa Pataky is used to spending hours in the makeup chair, but with a baby at home the actress has been forced to improvise.
?Before, I could be in the mirror just looking at each eyelash,? the Fast and Furious 6 star tells PEOPLE of her life before becoming a mom.
?Now, I have to learn to look good in a simple way in the morning. You just wash your hair really quick.?
Time in her closet has also been limited for Pataky, 36, since she and husband Chris Hemsworth welcomed daughter India Rose last May.
?I have my daughter running around and I don?t have much time [to say] ?This doesn?t look good,?? says Pataky, who is featured as Beauty of the Week in PEOPLE?s April 15 issue.
?I have to know what looks good already and just put it on and go.?
The new mom has also extended her carefree fashion to her baby girl.
?I am the worst. I hate to dress her in Pink and I don?t know why I have to,? she tells PEOPLE. ?Even Chris is [saying] all the time, ?They think she?s a boy! Can?t you put her in something more girly???
But Pataky doesn?t understand the fascination with making the sex of her daughter evident to everyone.
?You put them in Pink so everyone knows it?s a girl? Why? Just say it,? she adds. ?I think if you are a baby and they are already dressing you in pink, it will make you a princess. I just get blues and greys and whites ? all different colors.?

Did anyone just snort-laugh at ?Before, I could be in the mirror just looking at each eyelash?? I had a friend like that. God, she was so self-absorbed. We were roommates for a while (years ago), and I swear to God, she would stand in front of the mirror for HOURS looking at herself and playing with her hair and checking out her angles. She would do that for hours every single day. It was insane. So, that was Elsa?s life before she had India Rose? And now she?s anti-pink for her daughter, which is (to me) such a random stance to take. I mean, dress your little girl in Pink or white or blue or whatever. Who cares? It?s such a vapid, superficial ?stand?.

Bedhead already covered some of yesterday?s photos of Chris Hemsworth & Elsa Pataky out and about in NYC, but I guess we should cover these pics from last night?s Oceana Ball. This was the reason Elsa and Chris were in New York, as it turns out. They were the biggest stars at this event, which was held at Christie?s. Oh, I found the website:

So, it?s a big environmental event and there probably weren?t that many ?celebrities? but there were a lot of people with a lot of money there, and they probably raised a lot of money for?? I?m assuming environmental charities or foundations or something. Sure.
As for the photos? Chris brought along his brother Luke Hemsworth and Luke?s wife Samantha. Elsa wore a Naeem Khan Pre-Fall 2013 dress which is actually pretty cute. Chris?s suit is Calvin Klein. They look nice! I?m just relieved that it?s not another candid photo-op, though. I was getting really tired of seeing Chris in sunglasses. But the bad thing about these photos is that you can?t really see his guns. But I?m sure most of you could draw them from memory anyway.

Chris Hemsworth has been quite generous to his fans lately by doing several public appearances while holding his baby girl, India Rose, and showing off those amazing triceps of his in short t-shirts. Just last week, he did the same while grocery shopping in Venice with wife Elsa Pataky, and now they’re in New York City as shown in these photos from yesterday. Sadly, little India Rose is nowhere to be seen, but maybe she’s back at the hotel. In her place in these photos is Chris’ brother — not Liam, the other one — Luke, who has acted on an Australian soap opera for over a decade and is looking to take Hollywood by storm just like his brothers. We’ll see.
These photos are noteworthy for a few reasons. First off, look at how cute Elsa is. She’s been hiding her figure in drapey tops, but she looks fantastic here in a snug, long-sleeve tee with leather pants. I don’t really see the point of a yellow bra shining through, but she looks excellent overall, and it’s nice that she and Chris are getting some couple time. They look like a very close pair, and Chris seems totally into Elsa. She certainly has a bewitching way with men, but I think she’s very much into her husband as well. I’m still surprised that nobody ever mentions her new post-baby haircut. I wonder if she was experiencing the typical new-mother hair loss and decided to dispense with waiting for it to fall out in favor of taking matters into her own (stylist’s) hands. Whatever the case, she seems so effortlessly stylish.
Earlier in the day, Elsa was spotted shopping by herself and sprinting across a street while wearing very high-heeled “smurf” boots. How does she do that? I’d be totally down for the count.

Stepping out for a busy day, Elsa Pataky grabbed a bite to eat at Joan's on Third before heading to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Thursday (January 3).
The wife of "Thor" hunk Chris Hemsworth looked pretty in a black top, gray sweater, and paisley maxi skirt.
Last year, the Spanish actress and her Aussie hubby welcomed baby India Rose into their family.
Recently, Chris spoke to Us Weekly about being a father, saying, "It's certainly taken all my focus and attention away from work - or what have you - but that's the main thing on my brain right now. It's wonderful."

It was a family affair as Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky spent the afternoon walking the streets of Santa Monica with their daughter India Rose on Monday (July 16).
The beautiful family looked casual as the 35-year-old supermodel rocked a pair of shorts, flannel shirt and lace up booties showing off her amazing post-baby body.

People always assume that because I?m half-Indian, I have strong feelings about the name ?India? for an actual person. I don?t have some major opinion on it really. Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky welcomed their first child on Friday – a baby girl they named India. I don?t know if she?s got a middle name, but I kind of like the simplicity of ?India Hemsworth?. It?s cute. Lord Mountbatten (?The Last Viceroy? of India) named his daughter India as well – that?s what I always associate it with. I guess I?ve just grown to the point where I don?t mind if people name their babies country-names. Name your child China, or India, or America. Name him England. Name her Ireland. Name him Egypt. Name her or him Kenya. All of those names are totally not as bad as some of the other names I?ve heard.
Thor’s a dad! Chris Hemsworth, who flexes his superhero muscles in The Avengers, and his actress wife Elsa Pataky welcomed a baby girl on Friday.
They named their first child India. “We love the country and love the name,” Hemsworth, 28, tells USA Today.
Hemsworth, who also stars in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, and Pataky, 35, who appeared in Fast Five, tied the knot in 2010.
When she announced her pregnancy, the Spanish beauty had some other news ? for Hemsworth. ? saying he’d better brush up on his language skills.
?I?m only going to speak to the baby in Spanish,” she said in an interview in Hola! magazine. “I already told my husband, ?Get ready fast with Spanish because, if not, you?re not going to be able to understand what we say.”

I never realized the age difference between Chris and Elsa – I thought he was older than 28 and I thought she was younger than 35. Oh well – I?m sure it will work. Those Aussie boys seems to mate for life. Is it interesting that Chris and Elsa welcomed their baby just a few months after Chris?s fellow Avenger Robert Downey Jr. welcomed his son? Maybe little Exton Elias and India Hemsworth will end up together one day. They?ll be a crime-fighting duo. Or, you know, actors.
