There seem to be a lot of stories this week about celebrities’ parents or in-laws moving in and taking over. Yesterday we told you that Angelina Jolie is pissed that Brad asked his mom to come live with the family while Jolie is filming a new movie. And the friction between Katie Holmes and her mother-in-law is the stuff of legend in tabloid-land. The latest celeb to be irritated by family is aging Playboy star Pam Anderson.
Pam Anderson’s mother has taken over her life - and it’s driving the former Baywatch babe crazy!
Pam brought her mom Carol in from Canada on March 2 to help with her two sons, Brandon, 12, and Dylan, 11. But as soon as Carol moved in, “she completely took over the household,” a source told The Enquirer.
The blond bombshell - who is dating surfer/electrician Jamie Padgett - recently remodeled her house, fired her babysitter and is getting ready to do some traveling, so she was desperate for help, says the source.
“Carol spoils her grandkids, thinks she knows best and definitely speaks her mind.”
And she’s treating 41-year-old Pam like a little kid, says the source.
“She wants to know where Pam is going and when she’s coming home. She’s also asking Jamie personal questions and digging into his past. When Pam complains, Carol tells her, ‘I’m your mother, I have the right to ask.’”

I can just imagine Pam’s mom now: “Pam, honey, where are you going, and why aren’t you wearing pants?”
I don’t know - given that this is Pam Anderson, maybe having mom in the driver’s seat isn’t such a bad thing. And if her mom is there to watch the kids while she is gone, the woman has every right to know where she’s going and when she is coming back. Would you give that information to someone who is in charge of your kids, in case there’s an emergency? As for her mom asking the boyfriend questions- well, look who Pam was married to, for crying out loud! I’d be willing to be that Mom is asking all the questions Pam SHOULD be asking before running out and getting married on a lark- again.

Clad in a white t-shirt and short shorts, Pamela Anderson looked a bit worn down as she ventured out for a little shopping in Malibu on Friday afternoon (February 27).
The former “Baywatch” babe dropped by the local Safeway, leaving with a cartful of goodies as she passed by awaiting paparazzi.
Meanwhile, recent reports tell that Pammie will be jetting of Paris, as she’s set to hit the catwalk for designer Vivienne Westwood’s autumn/winter collection on Friday (March 6).
After meeting Westwood at the popular designer’s Red Label show during London Fashion Week last fall, the two got along so well that the Vivienne is even said to have asked Pamela to be the face of her spring/summer campaign.

On Wednesday former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson hit the runway for the Richie Rich fashion show as part of Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week.Sporting a skimpy gold leotard, Anderson, 41, made a surprise appearance at Rich’s “Blondes Have More Fun” themed show. Either out of nostalgia or a misguided attempt at shock, Pamela Anderson was invited to walk the Richie Rich fashion show last night. It was disturbing to say the least. She looks so gross and unnatural. I’d rather be locked in a room with the chimp who tore that woman’s face off than watch Pamela model anything other than a full body trash bag. 9 out of 10 scientists agree, you might even catch an infection by looking at these for too long. It’s like The Ring only worse because death never comes.
