Lindsay Lohan’s maybe off-again ex, Samantha Ronson, tweeted from a DJ gig on Saturday night that she was less than happy with the fact that she was working at a strip club. Promoters who hired her gave the impression that it was just a nightclub, not a topless gentlemen’s club. Shannen Doherty also expressed her surprise that the place was a strip club while Pamela Anderson probably knew about it ahead of time since she looked like she was trying to compete with the talent.
Next time, these stars will be reading the fine print!
Samantha Ronson, Pamela Anderson and Shannen Doherty were not too pleased when they found out they were headed to a strip club Tuesday night.
They all signed on to attend the grand opening of Sapphire Gentleman’s Club in NYC without realizing there would be topless dancers and bodypainted performers.
Ronson — who recently broke up with girlfriend Lindsay Lohan — was visibly angry for having to DJ at the event.
“Sam feels she got tricked into performing,” a source told Usmagazine.com the day of the party. “She didn’t know it was a strip club. She doesn’t want to go on tonight!”
In fact, she wrote on her Twitter page that she was not aware that the party was at a strip club when she signed on.
“Note to self: read the whole email … before saying yes to DJ gigs,” she wrote. “Sapphire??? Oops!”
Ronson, who refused to pose for photos or do interviews, worked the DJ booth as Sapphire dancers performed provocatively right in front of her. Still, Ronson focused on her music and did not look at the performers once.
“The silver lining to my night — it has never been more appropriate for me to play ‘Make it Rain,’” Ronson wrote on her Twitter page later in the evening.
Shannen Doherty was equally as surprised by the venue.
“I had no idea it was a strip club!” Doherty, who left after 45 minutes, told Us. “They told me it was a restaurant or club, so I was kind of in shock.”
Also in attendance that night was Pamela Anderson, who kept to herself in a roped-off booth. Her security guard told Us that she wanted to be “left alone.”

The NY Post also covered this story, but claimed that all the dancers stayed clothed until Ronson finished her set. They added the obnoxious detail that a stripper claimed “We were told she’s so girl-crazy, she can’t concentrate if we strip.” Ronson responded to this article on Twitter, saying “that’s retarded- they booked me telling me it was a regular club, not a strip club- i prefer people who i dj for to wear tops.” You can’t blame her for being annoyed if it wasn’t what she thought she signed up for.
The celebrities must not follow the news as much as we do as I remember reading a couple weeks ago that the place was a dual steak house/strip club. Ten to one Anderson knew ahead of time, though. The PETA advocate was getting mocked in the press for her hypocrisy at planning to attend the opening of a steakhouse. The fact that boobs were also on the menu was probably incidental.

PETA advocate Pamela Anderson was on hand at the grand opening of the Sapphire’s new strip club/steakhouse in New York yesterday, but not on behalf of the innocent cows who had to die for you to get that boner/beef steak combo — she was just there collecting a paycheck. Is that Colonel Sanders I hear laughing in the distance? She might rather go naked than wear fur, but I guess she’d also rather cash in on cow murder than be poor. I’d like to see PETA put that one on a poster. Never have the words “strip steak” and “tenderloin tips” been so fraught with sexual innuendo and personal compromise!

Pamela Anderson was seen at a fashion show last month looking much better than usual, with lighter eye makeup, sleek hair and neutral glossy lips. Compared to her normal caked-on look with over-arched brows and messy hair she was much more presentable. Anderson was wearing a white men’s shirt as a dress and was typically without pants, but it was a good start for the 41 year-old actress.
Now that Pam has made her next event appearance, we can assume that her make-under was just a one-off. PETA spokesperson Anderson helped open a dual strip club/steak house in a way too short jumper outfit that she was busting out of all over. Her makeup was smeared, her bra was showing, and we could even see the surgical scar from her breast augmentation. At least Anderson is keeping it consistent with the theme of the place.
Crazy Courtney Love claimed last week that Anderson is broke, citing the evidence that she lives in a trailer park and doesn’t have a credit card. Love has her own money issues due to some elaborate identity-theft conspiracy involving her late husband’s estate, but that doesn’t mean she’s wrong about Pam. Anderson was supposedly living in the high end “trailer park” while she was waiting for renovations on her mansion but she’s been there for months now. She even has a boyfriend at the place, a scuba diver she’s supposedly considering marrying for a few months.
Anderson may have looked lovely with combed hair and normal-looking makeup but that’s just not her style. She has her trashy look and she’ll work it into old age, showing up for events with her still-high boobs hoisted up and spilling out, a reminder of her long-gone status as a sex symbol. When do you think she’ll get her first face lift?

A few months ago Pamela Anderson moved into a trailer park, supposedly because her new home was being renovated. Prior to that she had a huge garage sale ? though theoretically the proceeds were to go to PETA. Pam?s trailer park is a fancy one, as those things go, but she?s still living there. And now it?s starting to look like there might be another reason ? Courtney Love says Pamela doesn?t even have a credit card ? the implication being that she?s got some serious money issues.
Pamela Anderson has looked a little down and out lately — maybe for good reason. Courtney Love told us, “Pam Anderson doesn’t even have a credit card. And she lives in Paradise Cove — which is in Malibu, but it’s a trailer park in Malibu.” A quick check on the Internet reveals that a double-wide trailer in the park costs around $325,000 — and on the high side, homes are around $1.2 million. The blond bombshell’s manager didn’t return our e-mails.

Hmmm. It?s obviously innuendo, supposition, and circumstantial evidence? still, it would explain some things. Like Pam, a famous vegan, agreeing to host the opening of a New York City steakhouse/strip club combo venue. And her inability to afford pants, time and time again. And I could stick about four other pantless examples in here if I wanted. Joking aside, the trailer park Pam lives in is easily one of the fanciest in the world. It?s safe to assume she?s taken care of, thanks to Baywatch residual checks.
It sounds to me like Courtney Love is much more of a frenemy than a friend. I looked it up to make sure they even are friends, and they definitely were ? though to what extent they still are is debatable. According to the New York Times, Courtney Love ruined Pam?s Comedy Central Roast a few years ago. She was clearly on something (or in her case, a variety of somethings), embarrassed the living daylights out of herself, and the whole thing was basically about her instead of Pam. Anderson certainly doesn?t seem uptight, but I doubt they?re close anymore. And Courtney?s comment ? to Page Six, of all things ? was bitchy as hell. Whether it?s accurate or not (and I don’t think it is), her motivation for saying it can only be mean-spirited. I doubt she was saying Pam doesn?t have a credit card because she?s so fiscally restrained.

PETA issued a statement about Pamela Anderson’s upcoming appearance at a NYC Steakhouse strip club. They have no problem with it even though steak comes from slaughtered cows, something which PETA and Pamela is vehemently against.
“Pam is not a host but may be attending as an invited guest, and since steakhouses nowadays have some of the best salad bars and veggie options around, we’re sure she’ll find plenty to eat should she attend.”
In summary, if you pay Pamela Anderson a butt load of cash, she will do just about anything. Pamela’s only pro-animal when it’s convenient. She would sell out and eat steak for a new AC unit for her trailer. People say you can’t put a price on dignity, but Pamela has a chart that proves you can.

Pamela Anderson is not the brightest bulb in the shed. A while back, she posed naked for PETA’s “I’d rather go naked…” campaign, and has been one of their celebrity spokespeople. That didn’t stop her from wearing Uggs, however, or driving a car with leather seats, or being a spokesperson for Vivienne Westwood, who uses leather and feathers in her lines. Now Pam and Audrina Patridge have been booked to open a steakhouse/strip club in NYC. Maybe it’s been too long since I’ve been to a steakhouse, but don’t they still cook meat there?
While America?s current economic crisis might be causing a reduction in the number of men heading into strip clubs, recent studies have shown that it is increasing the number of women who want to perform on a pole. So while there are no guarantees that Pamela Anderson and Audrina Patridge will be flashing any flesh, the two Hollywood hotties have been booked to launch a new Gentleman?s Club entitled “Sapphire New York” on April 27th which will be part of Prime 333 Steakhouse on the Upper East Side. (It makes you think about “meat markets” in a whole new light, right?)
According to the invitation, the former “Baywatch” babe and “The Hills” hottie will be joined by Sopranos cast member Steve Schirripa, while Lindsay Lohan?s ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson turns the tables.

I’m not a huge fan of PETA’s practices, but if you’re going to be a spokesperson for a cause, then go all the way. If you’re a celebrity and you’re part of any organization like that, you have an obligation to set an example. Either Pam doesn’t understand this, or all that bleach really has gone to her head. Or she’s really desperate for money. Her reality show was terrible, and she’s planning on getting married to a surfer - I’m guessing she’ll be supporting their family financially.
As for Audrina - why does anyone care and why did they book her? If she didn’t have such great abs, no one would pay attention to her at all. I get irritated just looking at her vapid ceiling-eyes and fake boobs. I guess the steakhouse’s only requirement was that their opening ladies be dimwitted and have implants. Sounds like half of Hollywood to me.

Since the third time was most definitely not the charm for Baywatch star Pamela Anderson, perhaps she’s thinking that the fourth time will be. Reports are surfacing that Anderson may wed her boyfriend, Jamie Padgett, whom she’s been dating for a few months. Of course, this is a woman who thought that Tommy Lee and Kid Rock were husband material, so her judgment skills are questionable at best. And don’t even get me started on that whole “not wearing pants” thing.
We’ve heard of third time lucky, but fourth time lucky might be pushing it a bit.
But, if your name’s Pamela Anderson, crazy concepts such as limits have no meaning.
The former Baywatch babe has sparked rumors that she is set to wed for the third time after one of her designer pals told friends he is working on the busty actress’ new wedding dress.

Pan should probably call it quits on the whole marriage thing. Clearly, she is not good at picking out appropriate life partners, and doesn’t take the concept all that seriously.
