Taking her rock music to Germany, Taylor Momsen was spotted performing in Berlin last night (June 7).
The former ?Gossip Girl? gal looked fabulous in a black leather getup complete with thigh-high stockings and big black boots.
During a recent interview, Taylor talked about her sense of victory over her critics with this new well-received album.
?It's definitely something to overcome, but every musician has his or her own challenges. The reception to the record has been amazing. I just want them to give it a chance, and ignore the rest. Come to the show...?
She also noted that her band The Pretty Reckless is filling a void in the female-fronted rock scene. ?I think there's been a drought in rock music in general. I tend to not think of it as all female. Most of my influences are males. I think definitely there's been a lull in rock music. It's just time to come back to it with us and a lot of other bands on the rise.?

Bringing her sometimes over-the-top self to the spotlight, Taylor Momsen joined in on the Nickelodeon 24th Annual Kids' Choice Awards festivities in Los Angeles, California on Saturday (April 2).
The "Gossip Girl" actress put her Pretty Reckless tour efforts aside for the time being as she opted to walk the orange carpet at the Galen Center prior to ceremony kickoff.
Talking about the fun-filled annual ceremony, Nickelodeon's president of development and original programming Marjorie Cohn said, "Everybody knows if they're going to be slimed, but nobody exactly knows what it's going to feel like or how they're going to respond to it."
Cohn added, "There's still a giant sense of surprise. No one rehearses being slimed. You can't really imagine the feeling of that coldness dripping through your clothes and into every pore of your body."
The Kids' Choice Awards are being hosted by Jack Black while airing live on Nickelodeon beginning at 8PM ET.

Enjoying her time overseas, Taylor Momsen was spotted leaving the Hotel Sers in Paris, France earlier today (March 25).
Joined by her Pretty Reckless band-mates, the ?Gossip Girl? actress looked focused on getting ready for her show at the VIP Room later tonight.
In a recent interview, Taylor shared that she?s come to terms with the media?s obsession with her bad girl persona.
"[My demeanor] does take over my music but that's also tabloids. That's their response to who I am. I don't have control over what people are going to write and it's always going to be part of it. But fashion, music... it all comes together. Tabloids are going to focus on my shoes and not my music, that's just what they do."

Living it up in the City of Lights, Taylor Momsen was spotted venturing out in Paris, France on Wednesday (March 23).
The ?Gossip Girl? gal sported an all black ensemble complete with thigh-high nylons as she was escorted out of a local building by a team of security staffers and personnel.
As for the overseas sighting, Miss Momsen made the trip after her band ?The Pretty Reckless? wrapped up Stateside concerts on the east coast.
Most recently, Taylor and her gothic group put on a show for their fans at Wonder Bar in Asbury Park in New Jersey.

Famed music producer L.A. Reid has been confirmed as one of the judges on the US X Factor. A legit choice because of the number of stars he’s made. Now there’s a rumor that 17-year-old Taylor Momsen will also be one of the judges. Also because of her talent. Of flashing her breasts on stage.
Celebuzz has learned producers for the show have zeroed in on the 17-year-old Pretty Reckless singer, and want her to take a stab at co-hosting the show. Earlier this week, uber-producer L.A. Reid officially signed on the dotted line to sit at the judge?s table.
We?re told that producers think the often-controversial Momsen is perfect for the spot because she?s ?young, hip and edgy? and has just the energy the show is looking for.
This must be a joke. Taylor Momsen is about as edgy as a butter knife. Her tired schtick has been done ad nauseam. I do like the message this sends to young girls though. If you want to be famous, dress like a hooker, flash your boobs and strip yourself of that beast called dignity.
