The theme of this SAG fashion post is back in black - for the women who wore black well or not so great. Our headliner lady in black is everybody?s favorite fashion trainwreck, Christina Hendricks. Christina usually opts for some BIG dress with big ruffles or a big shoulder piece or something that shows off her big rack. I have to say, I like the idea of this dress much more than I like the execution. The idea of Christina in a shiny, black, long-sleeved wrap dress is good - but there?s something wrong with this particular dress on her. That being said, I don?t hate it, and we?ve certainly seen her look worse on a red carpet.
Nicole Kidman - I hated this dress. Passionately. The lace detailing on the back looked cheap as hell, and the high collar was too ?Look at me, I?m a Catholic school girl.? That?s what it reminded me of, my apologizes to those Catholic school girls who are going to yell at me. You know what else I hated? Nicole?s hair. It was like she borrowed Keith?s flat-iron and only did a few strands up front.
January Jones in black and gold. I like it. I like her in a more demure look. Yes, she has a great body, but she doesn?t have to put it out there every time. Plus, I just like gold and black together.
Kelly McDonald in black strapless. I find her adorable as an actress, but the girl is not a fashionista. She looks like she?s trying on this dress right after working out. Her hair isn?t doing anything, and the fit looks off.
Barbara Hershey in another gold and black combo. I dislike it, just because it looks like her dress is bleeding that copper/gold stuff. But I like the cut on her - she?s an actress over 50, and she has everything covered up that needs to be covered up.
Robin Wright - to her credit, this dress looked better and sexier in motion. In still photos, it?s totally blah.
Julie Bowen?s pantsuit thing. She usually has horrible taste in fashion, so I admired the simplicity of this. Plus, those pants are awesome.
Kyra Sedgwick was one of my favorites of the evening. I LOVED this dress.

Bringing her red-headed hotness to the forefront, Christina Hendricks made her grand arrival at the 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (January 30).
The "Mad Men" actress looked stunning as she made her way inside the Shrine Exposition Center for the swanky Tinseltown ceremony.
Hoping for a big win for her hit show "Mad Men," Christina and her castmates are up for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series while facing off against "Dexter," "The Good Wife," "The Closer" and "Boardwalk Empire".
Airing live on TNT and TBS at 8PM ET, the show is hosted by Tina Fey and Susan Sarandon.

Closing out the week with a promotional appearance, Christina Hendricks was looking her usual fabulous self in New York City on Friday (January 28).
Taking to the 650 Fifth Avenue locale, the "Mad Men" beauty donned a cute black frock as she attended the opening of the Godiva Pop-Up Boutique.
Aside from her Godiva efforts, Miss Hendricks is gearing up to join her "Mad Men" co-stars at Sunday night's SAG Awards in Los Angeles.
Airing live at 8PM on TNT/TBS, the AMC show is up for Best Ensemble while both Jon Hamm and Elisabeth Moss are looking to take home individual honors.

I?m trying to come up with the appropriate title for Christina Hendricks, something that doesn?t make her sound like her boobs are made of diamonds. Christina Hendricks: Diamond Boob-Smuggler. Christina Hendricks: Diamond Motorboat. Christina Hendricks: Cleavage worth nearly a $1 million. So, Page Six has this great story about Christina and her problem with a Chopard diamond bracelet, which she borrowed for the Golden Globes. The bracelet fell off during the red carpet or something, and then some other stuff happened, and Christina hid the bracelet IN HER CLEAVAGE for safe-keeping. Because her boobs are like Fort Knox.
Curvy “Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks lived through her own Golden Globes drama when she lost an $850,000 diamond bracelet on the red carpet. The voluptuous redhead was horrified to find out that after making it up the carpet Sunday at the Beverly Hilton, one of the two bracelets loaned by Chopard had slipped off. Inside the ballroom moments before the show started, the panicked actress asked us, “Have you seen a diamond bracelet? I’ve lost one that looks like this,” pointing at the one glittering bracelet left on her wrist.
As the stars were being urged to take their seats, Hendricks — wearing a figure-hugging red gown — then hurried out of the auditorium back onto the red carpet to look for the bauble.
Outside, an event worker had found it and handed it back to a relieved Hendricks. But once back at her table, she found she couldn’t get it back on due to a tricky clasp. So she decided to turn it over to her publicist, who was outside, for safekeeping.
But security blocked her as she tried to leave the auditorium, as no one is allowed in or out once the show starts. She begged, “Please let me out, I have to give my diamond bracelet to my publicist!” The guard watched wide-eyed as Hendricks pulled the bracelet out from her ample cleavage. He opened the door a crack and she passed the jewels through to her publicist outside.
A rep for Chopard confirmed Hendricks was wearing 200 carats of their diamonds at the show and a security guard was on hand to make sure nothing went missing. The jewels included a 49-carat emerald and Marquise-cut diamond bracelet set in platinum, and a 124-carat, pear-cut and fancy-shape diamond bracelet set in platinum.
The Chopard rep said the bracelet that fell off was the 124-carat one worth $850,000, and it was returned by her publicist. The rep added, “Whoever put it on her wrist may have not closed the safety clasp correctly. But both bracelets and her earrings were returned in perfect condition today.”
Hendricks’ rep didn’t get back to us.

I used to hide money in my bra when I would bar-crawl, alas, I no longer go out drinking like I did when I was 22. Big boobs can hide a lot - I think one time I even hid my house key down there. Never diamonds. Ah, to have a $850,000 diamond bracelet and to be able to rub it all over your boobs? must be nice.

Lauded for her elegant look, Christina Hendricks was certainly a head-turner at the Golden Globe festivities in Los Angeles on Sunday night (January 17).
Clad in a scarlet Romona Keveza one-shoulder gown with rouge lips, the 35-year-old actress was dubbed by many as the most gorgeous attendee as she followed the Tinseltown ceremony by joining Rich Sommer at AMC's 2011 Golden Globe Awards viewing and after party held at The Beverly Hilton hotel.
As for Miss Henricks' hit show "Mad Men," the AMC series lost out in the Best Drama Television Series category to HBO's "Boardwalk Empire".
Still wildly popular among viewers, AMC senior vice president of original programming Joel Stillerman recently said of the upcoming plans, "'Mad Men' is definitively coming back for season five, although don't ask me when because we're not quite sure yet, but it will be and we'll let you know as soon as we do."

Okay, I?m kind of stretching for this ?trend? post, but in my mind, all of these bitches are connected because they?ve all got too much stuff happening above the waist. Sometimes it?s strange or off-putting shoulder details, sometimes it?s crazy stuff happening in the bust. So? that?s how I?m connecting them (don?t yell at me, bitches). Let?s take Christina Hendricks up there, the very definition of ?top heavy? (her photo is in the dictionary under ?top heavy?). The red gown is Romona Keveza, likely made specifically for Christina. While I like that Christina didn?t go for a pastel (those tend to wash her out), the red shoulder piece completely overwhelms the look. It?s too editorial, and it?s just wrong on a woman who is already extremely top-heavy. But I like the red, Chrissy!
One of the highlights of the evening was all of the Lea Michele cutaways - the reaction-shot camera was stuck on her, and her over-acting and fake crying was absolutely hilarious. Plus, the bitch lost. And Jane Lynch made fun of her. So the fact that Lea wore a ?pretty Pink princess dress? with this ugly bust-shoulder detailing, made of cheap-looking taffeta, was pretty awesome. She looks like a Pepto-Bismal carpet stain.
This is a Pear-Ass intervention. Jennifer Love Hewitt has NO IDEA what to wear now that she?s gained some weight. Like, she doesn?t realize that MORE fabric makes her look heavier. And yes, the extra fabric and detailing on the bust is tacky as hell, and completely ugly.
Piper Perabo in black, with what appears to be a tacked-on shoulder bow. I don?t hate the idea of a shoulder bow, and the dress would be slightly boring without it, but the bow just seems like an afterthought. And it?s totally limp too. Also: Ugh, I can?t believe she was nominated.
I didn?t hate Julia Stiles? dress. It was kind of too much tulle, but I got it. And the shoulder detailing is appropriately balanced by the fuller mermaid skirt.
I said this last night in the Open Post - Natalie Portman has taken the ?Rose Boobs? throne away from Charlie ?Rose Boobs? Theron. All hail the new Rose Boobs! But seriously, did anyone take a good look at Natalie?s dress? It was a MESS. The fit was completely off and there was too much fabric and weird bunching. As for the Rose Boobs? well, I thought the effect was really tacky and cheap-looking. Whatever.
Leighton Meester -this dress was just hideous, all over. Not least of all because of the dumb shoulder detailing.
January Jones usually shows too much skin, but did anyone else see her pop her boob back into her Versace as she got out of her limo? I guess her boob came out to wish everyone well at the Globes. But yeah, January Jones? tacky or sexy? I can?t decide. She?s so pretty, and her figure is amazing, but the whole effect was rather tacky, IMO.
Anne Hathaway was probably the best of the big-shoulder trend. This dress was really, really beautiful on Anne, and it would have been mind-blowingly gorgeous without the puffy shoulder detail. Imagine if this dress had just had straight-cut shoulders and arms. Can you picture that? How gorgeous would Anne have looked in that? With these shoulders, the whole thing looks dated.

Ready for a fun-filled red carpet evening, Christina Hendricks was in attendance for the 68th annual Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, California on Sunday evening (January 16).
Held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the "Mad Men" actress looked radiant as she ventured about the arrivals area before heading inside for the swanky affair.
Hoping for another victory for her hit show, Miss Hendricks and her "Mad Men" co-stars are up for Best TV Drama as they compete against fellow nominees "Boardwalk Empire," "Dexter," "The Good Wife" and "The Walking Dead".
As for the ceremony, Ricky Gervais is the host for the Golden Globe Awards - which air live on NBC beginning at 8PM ET/PT.
Top contenders this time around include "The Social Network" and "The Fighter" with six nominations, while "Black Swan," "Inception" and "The Kids Are All Right" all have four.

Looking as lovely as ever, Christina Hendricks was spotted tending to the day's errands while out in the sunny Los Angeles weather on Monday afternoon (December 13).
The "Mad Men" actress looked comfy in jeans and a loose print top while en route to a Chiropractor's office for a scheduled readjustment appointment.
Aside from her chiropractic outing, Miss Hendricks is gearing up for a sure-to-be fun-filled holiday season with her family.
Of her loved one's annual ritual, she told press, "My family always does a banana with your name on it in your stocking. You carve [the name] in really lightly with a pencil, and a couple hours later it's nice and black. It sounds so gross but I promise it's really cute!"
