Usually he?s the center of attention, but Robin Thicke played second fiddle to his gorgeous actress wife Paula Patton at the premiere of her new film ?Baggage Claim? last night (September 25).
The ?2 Guns? gal looked fabulous in a black lace dress as she hammed it up for the paparazzi at Regal Cinemas LA Live in Los Angeles while her ?Magic? man flashed his cocky smile.
And it sounds like Robin had plenty to be happy about, given that his single ?Blurred Lines? has just scored the longest run at #1 on Billboard?s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Previously, Mary J Blige held the record with her single ?Be Without You? back in 2006, but now the Mighty Mr. Thicke has ascended the throne.
?Blurred Lines? has been released for 26 weeks and has sold more than 5.8 million downloads.

Gearing up for an exciting evening, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton showed up at the ?Blurred Lines? Record Release Party in New York City last night (September 4).
The ?Shooter? singer and his gorgeous wife looked like they were in the mood to let loose as they posed for the press outside the No. 8 venue in Manhattan.
Meanwhile, the saga continues regarding Robin?s alleged cheating incident after the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.
Lana Scolaro told Life & Style that Thicke tried everything to get her in the sack at an afterparty, however they never actually sealed the deal.
She claimed, "I don't think he cared what she [wife Paula] thought. I was with him the whole night! His hands were everywhere."
"I went to the bathroom, and when I came out he was standing there. He turned off the lights so no one could see us, and he started making out with me. He was grabbing me. He was like, 'I want to get you into bed!'"
However, Patton?s rep stated, ?Paula was with him all night. Scolaro is just a girl looking for attention. Paula and Robin aren?t concerned and are happily vacationing in Florida.?

Don’t worry about Paula Patton. She’s cool with Robin Thicke grabbing Lana Scolaro’s ass. In fact, she encourages stuff like that. They have what some would call an open awesome marriage. They don’t even care Lana Scolaro sold this story to Life & Style. “Do your thing, girl,” Paula probably said will beckoning a random blonde over to her husband’s lap.
…the 20-year-old claims in the latest issue of Life & Style. Scolaro says she hooked up with the ?Blurred Lines? singer, 36, while his wife, Paula Patton, was just a few feet away and that he approached using the line, ?I just love the fact that you?re so young.? ?His hands were everywhere,? Scolaro, who says she met Thicke at a party a week earlier, tells the magazine. She also claims Thicke told her Patton was ?chill? and encouraged Lana to talk to her. Scolaro says she later accompanied the couple to a bash at a suite in the Greenwich Hotel, where Thicke followed her to the bathroom. She tells the mag, ?He turned off the lights so no one could see us, and he started making out with me. He was grabbing me. He was like, ?I want to get you into bed!? ? But an insider tells us Thicke and Patton were together all night and that neither is concerned about the story.
Then there’s a similar story from IDLYITW showing it’s clearly not an infrequent thing. These two DTF anytime, anywhere. I’m pretty sure Thicke grabbed her ass because Paula wanted to know if it was firm or not.

After spending an eventful night out at the Met Gala, Paula Patton was spotted taking a more casually dressed stroll in New York City on Tuesday (May 8).
The "Mission Impossible" beauty looked rocker chic in an all black ensemble including a leather jacket and pants while pairing her outfit with black and white sneakers, which was opposite of her glam night out yesterday.
Patton took to her Twitter page earlier today thanking Vera Wang for the incredible gown she wore to the 2012 Costume Institute Gala tweeting, "I love me some NYC!!!! What a great time at the #metgala and @VeraWangGang we had a blast!! love love love my look XO."
In career news, the 36-year-old actress is now taking on a new acting role in David Talbert's film, "Baggage Claim."
According to Deadline, the film has been in the works for quite some time and apparently got the green light by FOX Searchlight. The new flick is based off of Talbert's 2005 book about a single flight attendant (Patton) who jets around the country in search of a husband.

Joining in on quite the big evening in the Big Apple, Paula Patton turned up for the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' 2012 Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday (May 7).
The "Mission: Impossible" beauty sashayed through the Metropolitan Museum of Art venue while decked out in a soft Pink number.
The annual fete finds actress Carey Mulligan acting as honorary co-chair valongside designer Miuccia Prada and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, while Azealia Banks is lined up to perform.
As for the celebratory occasion, this year's rendition of the Met gala ushers in the 'Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations' exhibition exploring "the striking affinities between Elsa Schiaparelli and Miuccia Prada, two Italian designers from different eras."
The display is described as being "inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" for Vanity Fair in the 1930s while featuring "orchestrated conversations between these iconic women to suggest new readings of their most innovative work."

Dressed in a sixties-inspired red dress and sipping a Pepsi NEXT, Paula Patton invited fans to try the new product at its launch held at The Grove in Los Angeles on Monday (April 9).
The brunette-beauty was all smiles as she posed with Pepsi?s new offering that prides itself on using 60-percent less sugar while keeping its ?real cola taste?. The cola-company simply says that you need to ?drink it to believe it.?
Meanwhile, it was just announced that the ?Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol? star was offered a role in the new flick, ?2 Guns? opposite Denzel Washington. He and Mark Wahlberg will lead the film, which will be directed by ?Contraband? director, Baltasar Kormakur.
The film is inspired by Steven Grant?s graphic novel of the same name, which centers around a DEA agent and a Naval Intelligence officer who plan on robbing a bank that is believed to be the front for a mob.
There?s a twist. Neither knows the other is a cop and, once they pull off the crime, it?s discovered that they robbed the CIA not the mob. The plot continues to unwind revealing endless twists and turns.
Miss Patton will play the ?Safe House? star?s girlfriend in the film.

Paula Patton, who’s married to Robin Thicke, son of Alan Thicke (poor thing), is the new girl in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocoland she tells GQall about her time on set.
“I was doing physical stunts,” says Patton excitedly, “feet in the mud, fingernails full of dirt, shooting and fighting for my life.”So she ended up getting dirty while filming this movie. I’m in awe. That must have been rough. It must have been even rougher at the end the day to return to a $100,000 trailer where midgets waited to massage her feet.
Anyway, I’ll overlook that “I’m pretty badass now” quote because she’s pretty. Here she is posing for GQ.

Paula Patton is featured in the January issue of GQ as part of the promotion for Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol, and I finally now have an opportunity to say something that’s been on my mind for quite some time. I honestly think that Paula is far too alluring to play the romantic love interest of Tom Cruise. Sure, he’s good looking in a very anticeptic, plastic sort of way, but Tom is so not sexy, and he hasn’t been for quite some time (and I’m talking about the pre-couch jumping era too). So putting him up onscreen next to a woman with such obvious sensual allure is almost comical. Really:

There’s really not much of an interview available as of yet, but the photoshoot is just phenomenal and makes me giggle at how inadequate Tom must feel next to Paula. Don’t get me wrong — I know that she signed onto MI4 because it’s a great opportunity to get the kind of exposure that the Tom Cruise circus would necessarily promise. Still, most of his recent leading ladies have been somewhat lacking in the sex appeal department — his last cinematic love interest was Cameron Diaz, who is pretty (I guess) in her own unusual way but certainly not a knockout like Paula.
