Looking to support a good cause, Katy Perry and Russell Brand were spotted at the David Lynch Foundation?s Change Begins Within benefit celebration last night (December 13).
The ?California Gurls? songstress and her ?Get Him to the Greek? hubby looked to be in good spirits as they arrived at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
The David Lynch Foundation?s Operation Warrior Wellness initiative seeks to help veterans prevent post-traumatic stress disorder.
In career news, Ms. Perry is the first female artist in 11 years to have three number one singles from the same album. Congrats!

Making her promotional rounds, Katy Perry recently paid a visit to the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about her new perfume, among other topics.
During the gig, Katy confessed her admiration for Gwen Stefani for being "effortlessly cool" while also performing a version of her hit song "Firework" to the audiences delight.
Aside from Miss Stefani, Katy interview with Maxim magazine in which she gave props to Lady Gaga and Ke$ha - though she said she's gotten past her Justin Bieber crush.
"I love what Gaga is doing, and I love what Ke$ha is doing," Perry dished. "I've known Ke$ha forever. She's actually in the 'I Kissed a Girl' video."
As for Bieber, the 26-year-old told, "I've said Justin Bieber [was my celebrity crush] quite a few times, but I think I'm over it now. I think it's probably safe to say I married my celebrity crush. Don't barf on this magazine."

Kicking off the New Year with a red hot cover, Katy Perry is on the front of the January 2011 issue of Maxim magazine.
The ?Hot N Cold? songstress shows off her own unique flair in the photo spread, dressed in several different black outfits.
And in the interview, Katy gives guys some advice on how to be more appealing to the fairer sex - take a shower!
Perry explains, ?I think boys should take care of themselves hygienically. Some boys don?t - they just don?t realize how important that is to some females. Eating well and not living off of TV dinners, maybe trying to culture themselves. It doesn?t even matter what kind of world they come from or if they have money or no money- if you?re taking care of yourself physically, mentally, and spiritually, then you?re going to be in a good place.?

The only thing redeeming about Katy Perry is her tits, so it makes perfect sense that Maxim covered ‘em up in all but one photo in their January issue. God, Maxim sucks. If I wanted to see a bunch of frumpy one piece swimming suits, I’d hit the YMCA’s low-impact water aerobics class and yell that Matlock was passing out free Metamucil in the lobby.

Last night was a big premiere night in NYC and LA. The stars of The Tempest came out for the big LA premiere. Helen Mirren is the star, but most photos were of Russell Brand and his wife Katy Perry. Is this the first red carpet they?ve walked together as husband and wife? I think it is. Which begs the question: why now? Is Katy jealous of Russell?s relationship with Dame Helen Mirren? Is Katy marking her territory? Could be. Brand made sure to stay away from fondling Dame Helen, and he kept his eyes on his wife. Katy wore Elie Saab - I actually think the dress is really pretty, but Katy has the ability to make even high-fashion couture look trashy, in my opinion. Perhaps it?s that she?s almost always in vinyl, so that when she actually wears a gown, there?s still a hint of rubber. She has a rubber soul, I think.
Here?s Helen Mirren, looking lovely (and lonely without Brand?s love).
And Djimon Hounsou, who is in the film, brought his girlfriend/wife Kimora. I forget if they?re married, and I find the idea too depressing to look up.
And Alan Cumming! He?s wearing Capri pants, of course.

Stepping out to support her man, Katy Perry joined Russell Brand at the premiere of his new movie "The Tempest" at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Monday night (December 6).
The recently married couple seemed to be having a marvelous time as they joked around on the red carpet, with the 35-year-old Brit clad in velvet suit while his "Firework" singing bride looked lovely in a lighter hued frock.
Ready to hit theaters this Friday (December 10), the Julie Taymor directed picture also stars Felicity Jones, Helen Mirren, Djimon Hounsou and Chris Cooper.
A synopsis via IMDB tells: "In Julie Taymor's version of 'The Tempest,' the main character is now a woman named Prospera. Going back to the 16th or 17th century, women practicing the magical arts of alchemy were often convicted of witchcraft. In Taymor's version, Prospera is usurped by her brother and sent off with her four-year daughter on a ship. She ends up on an island; it's a tabula rasa: no society, so the mother figure becomes a father figure to Miranda. This leads to the power struggle and balance between Caliban and Prospera; a struggle not about brawn, but about intellect."
