Good news everyone who thinks they have a chance with Katy Perry. Katy Perry and Russell Brand had a fight over the holidays which resulted in them spending Christmas thousands of miles apart. A source says they haven’t split just yet but the fights are getting worse.
“They had a massive fight,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.’” Us Weekly
Katy was originally planning to fly her family to London for the holidays, but after the fight, Perry went to Hawaii instead with some friends.
One of the main issues says a source, “Katy doesn’t think Russell respects her parents’ Christian beliefs or her friends.”
Which is surprising because anyone could have figured this out beforehand. Russell Brand is an ex-drug addict and controversial comedian who banged a lot of women. “Christian beliefs” ranks right under “bums taking a dump in the street” on Brand’s list of things he respects

Yesterday, we discussed Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s respective solo Christmas celebrations 7000 miles apart from each other. It seemed like a bizarre move since Katy is no longer on tour and also quite suspicious from a couple who has invested so much energy running their mouths to talk show hosts and People about how their union is both so marvelous and enlightened that we couldn’t possibly understand. Yet the couple spent one of the most important (from either a secular or religious standpoint) days of the year with one of them in Hawaii and the other in Cornwall. So what gives?
As a side note, some of you took slight offense yesterday at my description of Katy as “too selfish” to have a baby, so I’d like to stress that I don’t believe that all childless women are inherently “selfish.” It’s just that Katy herself has pulled such a huge bait and switch by her own admissions, and I think that Russell was really looking forward to settling down. When they married, she acted like she was game for starting a family, but now she’s all about loving alcohol instead. Obviously, she’s not ready for kids and would rather please herself, and that’s her prerogative, but no one can blame Russell (a recovering addict) if he’s disappointed as a result. Also, I will gladly point out that I’m a mother and still consider myself to be a pretty “selfish” human being, and I continually struggle to beat that aspect of my own personality into submission. Being a mother is a huge adjustment is all I’m saying, and that doesn’t make it any more lofty than a childless state. It’s just a huge undertaking and signals the virtual end of “me time,” and Katy obviously isn’t into going there at this point and possibly never.
At any rate, Us Weekly has dug a bit deeper into the Christmas mystery and has unearthed an exclusive on Katy and Russell’s “massive fight” that resulted in very separate holidays for the couple:
It was Christmastime fireworks for Katy Perry and Russell Brand this year — but not the good kind!
After planning to whisk her family via private jet to husband Brand’s London hometown for the holidays, Perry, 27, changed course, opting to fly to Hawaii with friends.
“They had a massive fight,” an insider tells Us Weekly. “She was like, ‘F–k you. I’m going to do my own thing.’ Russell replied, ‘Fine, f–k you too.’”
Which explains why, come Dec. 25, the multi-platinum singer was snapped splashing in the Pacific Ocean off Kauai — sans wedding ring. Meanwhile, British comic Brand, 36, was catching up with a pal in a pub in chilly Coverack, Cornwall.
Though the pair denied divorce rumors in November, sources say trouble is brewing. “They haven’t split up just yet, but things are not good,” says the first source. “The fighting is getting worse.”
At issue? Among other things, explains another source: “Katy doesn’t think Russell respects her parents’ Christian beliefs or her friends.”
So will the couple — who wed in October 2010 after a whirlwind courtship — make it through 2012? Says the first source, “The split may come soon, but they are both so dramatic and volatile, the relationship could become great again.”
Honestly? It sounds like Russell woke up one day and figured out that Katy wasn’t nearly as “endlessly fascinating” as he’d believed. Of course, everyone else knew it all along. Poor guy. I’m not sure whether Russell and Katy would actually fight over her parents’ religion, since they have famously declared that Katy herself is destined to go to hell. Besides, Russell hangs with Katy’s dad in public and probably has grown quite accustomed to brushing off all offers of being saved. However and as to the notion of Russell disliking Katy’s friends, if they’re as immature as she portrays herself to be, then I can see why Russell wouldn’t be crazy about spending Christmas with the lot of them.
Overall, I think the most telling aspect of this current round of rumors is the Twitter silence of both Katy and Russell, who have both taken time out to tweet about other things, in regard to their relationship. Neither one of them has run to the media with a denial either. Maybe they’re both finally tired of faking it.

Katy Perry showed up at the Grove to promote her new fragrance, Meow, with a noticeable bump and now everyone wants to know whether or not she’s pregnant. She’s most likely not and doesn’t look that pregnant but we should all keep asking if she is anyway. That way this fatty will get all sad and decide to stop being so fat.

Just in time for some last-minute shopping, Katy Perry launched her new fragrance Meow! at The Grove in Los Angeles yesterday (December 14).
The ?Firework? songstress rode around on the mall?s old fashioned train to greet fans and press, sporting a snug-fitting Pink dress with massive heels.
She told the crowd, "I know you guys want a new record. But I have to live a little so all the songs will be something worth listening to. I think that maybe I'm just going to think about enjoying Christmas and New Year's."
"The first fragrance [Purr] was more floral, by a long while, and this one is a lot more edible. I think that if you can hear a song, and it'll take you back to that moment, or that person, or that time in your life. Same thing with your sense of smell - it's really powerful. So I thought I could make memories for people with Purr or Meow."

Katy Perry keeps denying it, but I think this is for real – she?s got a gut full of Russell Brand baby. These are pics of Katy yesterday in Hollywood, where she was promoting her new perfume, ?Meow!? It?s not even that Katy has ?gained weight? – look at her figure. If anything, she?s gotten smaller in her arms and legs. She only seems to be putting on weight in her lower abdomen, otherwise known as ?the baby area.? In the profile pics, you can really see it.
I have mixed feelings IF Katy is really pregnant. I think she?s probably doing it to ?fix? her marriage to Russell Brand, and that band-aid babies don?t really ?fix? anything in the long run. Which makes me feel bad for her, really. Poor kid.
By the way, Katy was named on Barbara Walters? ?Most Fascinating People of 2011? list. Katy?s not the worst inclusion – she had five number-one hits this year, and her album sold like crazy. (Sidenote: Steve Jobs was number one on the list.) In the interview with Barbara, Katy was asked about her marriage (?I think that it?s lovely so far??), Russell?s past addiction to heroin (?I think that there?s a capacity for change in anyone?) and the baby rumors – ?That?s just Taco Bell right here.? Taking the helm of the long-running NBC sketch comedy show's latest installment, Katy Perry hosted last night's (December 10) episode of "Saturday Night Live".
The "One That Got Away" singer was decked out in a holiday-inspired ensemble opened up the show with a monologue in by introducing her neighbor (Kristen Wiig), as well as a kid she used to babysit (Andy Samberg) and a friend named Tom (Bill Hader) - with the trio portraying styles from a range of her past music videos.
Highlights of the latest "SNL" included a digital short which saw Perry team up with Samberg as best friends sharing innocent holiday cheer before meeting two not-so-pleasant characters (played by Matt Damon and Val Kilmer) - with the group them uniting into "four best friends".
The program also found Alec Baldwin poke fun at his headline making American Airlines incident while playing a character named Captain Steve Rogers during Weekend Update.
Asked by Seth Meyers to share his take on Baldwin being booted from the flight, Capt. Rogers told, ?It was awful, Seth. Which is why it was important of me to come here and on behalf of everyone at American Airlines, issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin! Mr. Baldwin is an American treasure, and I am ashamed at the he was treated! what harm would it do to let him keep playing his game, not any game have you! But a word game for smart people!?
Meanwhile, the night's musical guest was Robyn, who performed renditions of "Dancing On My Own" and "Call Your Girlfriend" during the course of the show.

Hard at work on a comedy sketch, Katy Perry was spotted out in New York City with Matt Damon, Val Kilmer and Andy Samberg today (December 9).
The ?Hot N Cold? songstress will be taking over the hosting duties for ?Saturday Night Live? tomorrow night, and she got some good advice from her husband Russell Brand.
Katy told press, "I've only ever hosted, like, dinner parties and birthday parties. This is a bit more than that. It's not as intimidating when you get here because it's a bit smaller than it looks on TV, and I'm up for a challenge, for something new. I love to be challenged ... I married Russell Brand."
"My husband, of course, every day I call him and I'm like 'this happened' and he's like, 'I know what that means and here's the next play-by-play for tomorrow,' so he's gotten me really prepared for this week, thankfully."

Stepping out for a charitable evening, Katy Perry joined Russell Brand at the 3rd Annual 'Change Begins Within' Benefit Celebration in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night (December 3).
The cute couple worked the arrivals area at the LACMA venue while supporting The David Lynch Foundation, which "outreaches to help people in need overcome traumatic stress and transform their lives from within."
The weekend appearance comes just after Brand addressed rumors of marital woes during an appearance on the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" - denying any such issues.
The 36-year-old comedian dished, ?I am really happily married. I would like one (a baby). I love those little babies in the beginning. They?re so lovely in that bit? They smile and look at me and wonder."
Adding that his wild days are behind him, Russell told, ?There?s been some gallivanting but as a married man you mustn?t gallivant too much. In the confines of marriage you can still do the travel aspect of it, but that?s it."

Katy Perry shot down rumors that she was pregnant at the American Music Awards. She told Hollyscoop, “Hell, no!,” when asked whether she’s going to have kids anytime soon.
Pregnancy rumors started flying around again when people noticed a food baby pushing out her AMAs outfit. Turns out she was just pregnant with the most delicious baby of them all, In-N-Out. She told The Insider, “I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that’s your problem.” She also said she loves drinking too much to get pregnant.
Russell Brand found the perfect woman. Hot, at least when she wears makeup (yikes), doesn’t want kids anytime soon and likes to party. Coincidentally, those are the three of the four qualities I require of a girl in my fake Craigslist model search posting. The fourth is “can keep mouth shut.”

While most women who are not pregnant would all but enjoy speculation upon the state of their womb (because such rumors generally stem from a few unwanted pounds), I think Katy Perry is secretly enjoying all of the rampant talk concerning her own uterus. Why? Because it takes some of the pressure off those pesky rumors of the demise of Katy’s year-long marriage to Russell Brand. While I wholeheartedly agree with Kaiser that Katy is certainly not above trying for a band-aid baby to “save” her ailing relationship, I also think that she’s still in denial about any speed bumps that she and Russell may have encountered. I just get the feeling that, at this point, Katy still thinks that her charming ways are all that she needs to fix things, and she’s not quite to the point of thinking a baby will cure everything. Yet, anyway. Hence the unequivocal denial that Katy has issued about recent buzz that she could be pregnant:
It’s no secret that Katy Perry wants to have kids, but the singer didn’t mince words at the American Music Awards as she shot down rumors that she is already pregnant.
“Hell, no!” Perry, 27, told Hollyscoop, when asked if there were children in the near future for her and her husband, Russell Brand, 36.
The rumors swirled Perry’s outfit at the AMAs seemed to show a little bump, but Perry assured them any protrusion was just due to diet.
“I like In-N-Out Burger and Taco Bell and if you want to make that pregnant that’s your problem,” she told The Insider. Among her other thoughts on pregnancy: “I still love drinking alcohol so not yet.”
During a concert at Madison Square Garden last week, Perry joked to the crowd that if she was rubbing her “bloated belly” during the show, it wasn’t because she’s about to be a mom. She said she had just been having too much fun sampling the “delicious” food in and around New York City.

Oof. Here we go again with the Miss Insensitivity act in regard to her husband’s sobriety. Instead of merely stopping at telling the press that she loves junk food and/or isn’t ready for a child, Katy felt the irrepressible need throw in yet another mention of how much she loves being wasted. Will she ever learn to shut her mouth on that topic? Poor Russell. If infidelity doesn’t kill this marriage, then Katy’s immaturity will eventually finish it off with no subtle measure.
