Juggling her movie and television careers as best as she can, Blake Lively stepped out to tape an appearance on the "Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday night (September 27).
Always looking stylish, the Serena van der Woodsen actress showed up in casual attire before swapping into a sparkly Elie Saab frock to pose for pictures outside of the Ed Sullivan Theatre.
As for the reason behind the visit, Miss Lively happened to be promoting her recently released movie "The Town," which was directed by Ben Affleck.

Taking advantage of a little free time, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were spotted taking a lunch break in Uptown, Manhattan on Tuesday (September 21).
Fresh off of filming scenes of their hit show "Gossip Girl," the co-star couple popped into Ed's Chowder House for some tasty seafood cuisine before getting back to work.
Meanwhile, you can catch Blake and Penn in a new episode of "Gossip Girl" titled "The Undergraduates" airing on Monday (September 27) at 9/8c on The CW.
A synopsis via the show's website tells: "On her first day at Columbia, Blair (Leighton Meester) attempts to gain membership into an ultra-exclusive social club, Hamilton House, but she's in for a few big surprises. Serena (Blake Lively) begins to suspect that Juliet (guest star Katie Cassidy) is intentionally sabotaging Serena's life and that it may have something to do with Nate (Chace Crawford). Rufus (Matthew Settle) is worried about Dan (Penn Badgley) and decides to take matters into his own hands. "

Coming up tonight, the second episode of ?Gossip Girl? season four airs at 9/8c.
Per the CW?s website, "Blair ( Leighton Meester) is pursued by a handsome young man, Louis (guest star Hugo Becker) in Paris, who she suspects is a member of Monaco's royal family. A very concerned Lily ( Kelly Rutherford) asks Serena (Blake Lively) to help her find Chuck ( Ed Westwick), who hasn't been heard from or seen in months. Meanwhile, Chuck Bass is as we've never seen him before, adjusting to a fresh start in Paris with a mysterious new woman, Eva (guest star Clmence Posy), at his side. Juliet (guest star Katie Cassidy) offers to help Nate ( Chace Crawford) win Serena (Blake Lively) back, suggesting that reigniting Dan ( Penn Badgley) and Vanessa's ( Jessica Szohr) romance may just be the trick to remove Dan from the Dan-Serena-Nate love triangle."

Quite the busy lady these days, Blake Lively was looking stunning as she attended the premiere of "The Town" in Boston, Massachusetts on Tuesday night (September 14).
Held at the historic Fenway Park, the "Gossip Girl" actress posed in a chic black dress as she joined alongside castmates Jeremy Renner, Chris Cooper, Rebecca Hall, Jon Hamm and director/star Ben Affleck.
Coinciding with her movie promotions, Blake recently spoke with OK! magazine about her romantic experience (or lack thereof).
She tells, "I've kissed just three people in my life, other than stuff I have done for TV or movies. I know, I'm weird! I hope Brad Pitt doesn't hear this, he is never going to want to marry me!"
And while she's currently involved with her CW co-star Penn Badgley, Miss Lively dished on what she looks for in a man, saying, "I like someone [who] makes me laugh. I enjoy someone [who?s] really fun."

Blake Lively has a movie to promote! Let?s watch her get her boobs and legs out. Nevermind that it?s a small(er) part in The Town, and nevermind that that the actual female lead of the film, Rebecca Hall, hasn?t gotten any magazine covers. F-ck that, Blake. No, our Blake is going to rock Allure Magazine like it?s Vogue. I?m totally surprised she didn?t name-drop Anna Wintour in her Allure interview, but these are just excerpts, so she may have. But guess what she does talk about? Babies! And cooking! And her ?relationship? with Penn Badgley. She?s not going to make the same mistakes that Megan Fox made, at all, although Blake and Megan seem about on par as far as talent goes. But Blake has more to offer us than just being a hot girl whose gravity-defying breasts fascinate men. No, Blake is a fashion girl, AND she talks about babies. Well done.
Blake Lively may play a drama queen on Gossip Girl, but in real life she is more like a domestic diva. Unlike her character Serena Van der Woodsen, Lively had a solid, tight-knit family upbringing and, as the youngest of five children, wants to create that big family for herself someday.
“I want babies. Lots of babies. Of course!” Lively, 23, tells the October issue of Allure. If she is planning to have kids with her beau and costar Penn Badgley, Lively is keeping mum.
“I don’t comment on my relationships, so you can skip that one!,” she says. “My anonymity is something I treasure. Wanting to be an actor and wanting to be famous are different.”
The actress, who is busy promoting the film, The Town, opening this weekend, is already thinking about life beyond acting and even has another career in mind ? a restaurateur. “I want to have a brunch place, a bakery, and a Southern restaurant because my family’s from Georgia,” Lively says, “and then I want a place that is all-over-the-world cuisine.”
She is well on her way. An avid baker, Lively takes cooking classes when she travels to experience different cultural cuisines and has even stored away many family recipes. But when asked to share, Lively responds playfully, “They’re for my restaurants.”

I go back and forth on Blake?s relationship with Penn. They?re always together, and they actually do seem pretty tight, just judging from their photos. BUT - they always look bored and boring. Plus, no one is really invested in that relationship, are they? Like, fans of Gossip Girl? Isn?t everyone just kind of ?meh? on them? Also - Blake strikes me as the kind of girl who will f-ck up, you know? She?s going to drop Penn for someone better as soon as that dude comes along.

Taking care of some press duties, Blake Lively paid a visit to ?Live with Regis and Kelly? this morning (September 14).
The ?Gossip Girl? actress looked lovely in a turquoise mini-skirt and pale yellow Christian Louboutin heels a she headed inside the studio.
In a recent interview, Blake was reticent to comment on her long-running relationship with CW costar Penn Badgley.
She stated, "I don't comment on my relationships, so you can skip that one! My anonymity is something I treasure. Wanting to be an actor and wanting to be famous are different."
