This story is one of the funniest things I?ve read all week. I got the giggles just transcribing it. It comes from In Touch Weekly, so you know the BS is lacquered on, but dear God, I hope it?s true. According to their source (Blake Lively?s publicist), Blake Lively ?has it all? - she has a thriving, glamorous career, she?s absolute perfection, and she landed the hottest guy. Once again, this is all according to a ?source?. To make matters even more fabulous for Blake, her boyfriend buys her ?gifts?. Because nothing says ?true love? when your notorious-womanizer boyfriend treats you like a ?professional?.
Some girls have all the luck! Blake Lively is gorgeous, her career is on fire and she?s dating one of Hollywood?s hottest bachelors, Leonardo DiCaprio. On top of all that good fortune, Blake was recently lavished with $70,000 worth of gifts from her new boyfriend during their whirlwind Italian vacation.
?He bought her anything she wanted,? says a friend. From jewelry and perfume to shoes and handbags, Leo went all out as the duo traveled to Venice, Milan and beyond.
?Leo actually loves to shop and get gifts for family and friends,? says the insider.
But wait, it gets even more nauseating: ?He later surprised her with other gifts as well,? reveals the pal.

I mock because I?m jealous. I would love $70,000 worth of gifts from Leonardo, but unfortunately I don?t do the kind of stuff Blake does, so I?ll probably never get a ?Thanks for that thing you did with your tongue in that place? ostrich satchel. I will never get a ?I really appreciated that position you let me try, I?m sorry you busted something? brooch.
It does make me wonder - does Leo even know how to be in a relationship where he?s not ?showering? his lady with ?gifts?? No, I won?t go there. I will say that Blake?s real talents have not yet been fully exposed on screen. If only her on-screen performances were as mind-blowing as her off-screen performances?
I wonder which “other gifts” Leo gave her later…?

But even before that, she was climbing the social ladder becoming the face of Chanel and dating Leonardo DiCpario. Oh how long she toiled in traveling pants and gossipy girls but it was all worth it. Anyway, all I really wanted to say was boobs. Tee-hee.

She?s been on a promotional spree as of late, and last night (June 15) Blake Lively paid a visit to ?The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.?
The ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? hottie was in the house to plug her new movie ?The Green Lantern? that hits theaters this Friday (June 17th).
During the course of the interview, both Jay and Blake avoided the hot topics in Lively?s life lately - the nude photo scandal and her new romance with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Instead, they focused on Blake?s upbringing in Burbank and Miss Lively?s tendency to tempt her ?Lantern? costar Ryan Reynolds with sweet treats.

I admire Blake Lively?s transformation. She used to be a boring, pushy mall girl on a television show. Now she?s the face of Chanel, dating Leonardo DiCaprio and the star of a red carpet for one of the big comic book franchise films. Of course, she still just looks like a mall girl in Chanel, but that?s beside the point. The point? Blake is living the dream, methinks. And she knows it.
These are photos from last night?s LA premiere of The Green Lantern. Blake was pretty much the only high-profile celebrity woman there, so she got to make her big-impact fashion statement without worrying about someone drawing attention away. Blake wore Chanel Couture, of course. I actually don?t hate it - Lagerfeld actually gave her a decent, pretty dress for a change, although the effect of the sheer skirt reminds me of a shower curtain. Also, it?s rather bridal, which? I think might scare Leo off.
Leonardo was not at the premiere (that I can see, although if you told me he met up with Blake at the post-premiere party, I wouldn?t be surprised). But the premiere was a sausage party! It?s one of the summer?s most anticipated flicks, and earlier tonight (June 15) Blake Lively premiered her new movie ?The Green Lantern? in Los Angeles.
The ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? actress looked stunning in white as she worked her magic for the cameras outside of the famous Grauman?s Chinese Theatre.
During a recent interview, Blake explained how her character in the film drew her to become interested in the project.
"Carol is very unique in this genre. She's an incredibly powerful woman -- she's a fighter pilot, she runs her father's aviation company. It's rare to see such strong women existing as equals amongst men in film, especially in this genre."

I know, ANOTHER Blake Lively post, the second one of the day. In my defense, Blake is going to be everywhere the next few days/weeks, because she?s promoting her part in The Green Lantern. You could argue that she?s been promoting The Green Lantern while she?s getting pap?d in Verona with Leonardo DiCaprio, but I?m not going to start. You could also make the point that Blake is - reportedly - barely in The Green Lantern, and basically non-existent in the trailers, so why does she need to be all over the place for the promotion? You?re missing the point! Blake is big news. Not ?Blake the movie star? but ?Blake, Fashion Girl and the girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio, and Blake of the naughty photos.? That Blake is happening. That Blake is going to continue to be everywhere.
Anyway, Blake is seen here, doing the morning show rounds, wearing this turquoise/cerulean Tibi dress. I love the color, hate the design. It feels like a little girl?s party dress to me, especially with that flounce of the skirt? that makes her look pregnant (watch the video below). I would like to see it with a fitted pencil skirt, then maybe I would love it.
By the way, Blake was on Today this morning. When asked about her booby photos, Blake said, ?You know getting into this business what comes with it? You do it for the art, for the wonderful work we get to do. Otherwise, you keep your head down, you keep to yourself. I have such a great family and friends that they’re my support system.” Here?s the video? um, I think she?s cute here. Just shoot me, but I kind of like her and admire her hustle. Also: SHE?S SO TALL! In her heels, she?s towering over everybody!

?This is a fun comic because we acknowledge all the things that in other movies they don?t. Having somebody like Ryan, hard pressed to find somebody more witty and charming and funy than him. We use that. I don?t know. I think it?s special.?
Blake also shared her thoughts on the propensity for rumors and gossip in Tinseltown. ?You know getting into this business what comes into it.
