These are some new photos of Blake Lively and Penn Badgley filming Gossip Girl in New York on Wednesday. Fame Pictures notes that for a couple that has been together for two years, they seemed especially awkward on set together, and thus, they could be broken up. Or maybe they just had a fight? Or maybe Blake was feeling not-so-fresh? Or maybe Penn was feeling not-so-fresh? It could be anything.
Though Gossip Girl costars Penn Badgley and Blake Lively have been dating for over two years, pictures taken Wednesday, October 20, 2010, suggest there may be some turmoil between the once-happy couple. When Badgley and Lively passed each other on set, the normally affectionate pair exchanged a strange side-hug and air kiss more indicative of casual acquaintances than lovers. Are the two actors the latest couple to suffer a celebrity breakup?

Could be. It wouldn?t surprise me. I?ve long thought that Blake would end up dumping Penn once she found a good stepping stone boyfriend (or “jumpoff” if you will)? someone like Ryan Gosling, perhaps? I also still think that Blake had something going on with Ben Affleck, and that was when she was ?with? Penn too. Penn is either very understanding, or he?s totally dumb and clueless, or maybe he just doesn?t give a crap. Penn and Blake haven?t been spotted together off the set anytime recently, although I did find these photos of a chaste looking kiss between the two of them back in September:

Following a full day of "Gossip Girl" filming duties, Blake Lively changed up outfits and headed out for a night on the town in New York City on Wednesday (October 20).
The Serena van der Woodsen actress looked bright and cheery as she attended the launch of Vertu's smartphone held at Berry Hill Galleries.
As for her "Gossip Girl" happenings, Blake and the gang return for all-new episode titled "Easy J" airing Monday (October 25) at 9/8c on The CW.
A synopsis via the show's website tells: "Although Blair (Leighton Meester) made it perfectly clear that Little J was no longer welcome in Manhattan after what happened with Chuck (Ed Westwick), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) is tempted by a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet Tim Gunn ("Project Runway"), which could be a game changer for her future. Meanwhile, Serena (Blake Likely) discovers something about her new boyfriend, Colin (guest star Sam Page), that may put an end to their relationship just as it was getting good."

Over the weekend, Spike TV did a pre-taped show for the ?Scream Awards.? I barely care who won what or who said whatever, but the photos from the red carpet are a little crazy. A wide variety of people showed up, and those should be the people getting the attention, in my opinion. Instead, I?m looking at hundreds of photos of Blake Lively and her crazy legs. I?m starting to go the other way on Blake - I used to think she was just sort of harmless and trying-too-hard to be a fashion girl, but that she was fun and slightly interesting. Now she?s really starting to bug. This is how she posed for photos the WHOLE time. In every single photo, she?s holding her dress open in a ?check out my legs and vadge? stance that is just? not cute. It looks desperate. It is desperate.

In almost every picture of Blake Lively at the Spike TV Scream Awards last night, she’s pulling her dress open right beneath the crotch and turning it into a damn mullet from the waist down. Having jetted out west the previous day, Blake Lively added a touch of glamour to Spike TV's Scream 2010 Awards in Los Angeles, California on Saturday night (October 16).
Held at The Greek Theatre, the "Gossip Girl" actress elegantly made her way through the arrivals area before grabbing a seat to take in the evening ceremony.
Giving fans plenty of action, the 2010 Scream Awards feature a tribute to the end of ?Lost,? the premiere of footage from Scream 4, a 25th-anniversary celebration of Back to the Future and a musical performance by M.I.A.
The not-to-be-missed event airs on Spike TV on Tuesday, October 19 at 9PM ET/PT.

Making the long cross-country trek from New York City, Blake Lively was spotted touching down at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Friday evening (October 15).
Looking stylish in a matching black and sandy brown ensemble complete with a bowler hat and boots, the Serena van der Woodsen actress deboarded her plane before hitting the exit and loading into an awaiting ride.
Aside from her jet-setting ways, Blake can be seen in a recently released Aussie interview during which she's asked a series of odd questions about "Gossip Girl" co-star Taylor Momsen.
Among the more interesting moments, the questioner asks if Miss Momsen really neutered a dog and set its manly parts on fire in front of her bandmates.
To this, Blake reminds the host that Taylor has a female pet pooch before bluntly saying, "There's no dog ball burning on the set."

Excited to be closing in on the weekend, Blake Lively was out getting an early start to the day in New York City on Friday (October 15).
The Serena van der Woodsen actress happened to be partaking in a photo shoot session, as she exited a local studio clad in a Saks Key to the Cure shirt.
The sighting comes as Miss Lively has found herself in tabloid fodder over rumors of a hookup with actor Ryan Gosling.
Stemming from a recent Disneyland sighting of the pair, a rep for Blake told Gossip Cop that the blond actress is still very much with her co-star beau Penn Badgley, and what most of the stories did not mention was that Lively was at Disneyland with a group of 15-plus people.

Showing some love to a canine fan, Blake Lively was spotted out in New York City earlier today (October 6).
The ?Gossip Girl? babe posed for pictures with a Rottweiler pooch, and even took some of her own. She also snapped a few shots with a passing female fan.
As for her gig with ?The Town,? Blake told press she wasn't initially aware she was hanging out with actual criminals on the film?s set.
?We were doing this scene in a real bar in Charlestown. And Ben [Affleck, director and star] went and filled it with real ex-cons ? which I didn?t know! That was until they started telling me, ?Oh yeah, yeah. I was in prison, and I just got out two months ago.??

Comments on the prank start at 8:10
Gossip Girl and The Town star, Blake Lively, was on Letterman Friday. Letterman was fawning all over her and kept trying to fix her hair, although he said she was “just a kid” at 23. I’ve never seen an interview with Blake before and was initially impressed by how relaxed, personable and friendly she was. While she seemed nice enough at first, she told a really disturbing story about the lengths she went through to prank her boyfriend, fellow Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley, this April Fool’s Day. The things she did to him sound downright mean, as clever as she obviously thought she was. Blake almost convinced that guy that he was adopted and that his biological father was Steven Tyler. She even got Penn’s publicist and mother in on it.
[Penn] always wondered how he was so musically gifted without having musically gifted parents. So I thought ‘who is musically gifted who has lots of kids? Steven Tyler’
So I thought, ‘Well I’m going to say that’s his father.’
So I created a fake e-mail address and wrote a letter to him the night before April Fools… saying ‘I had a child with Steven Tyler. I live in Maryland (where he was born), I’m an English professor. I want to reach out to you and I’d like to have a relationship with you now that you’re of age.’
And then I had his publicist call in the morning and say ‘hey listen, I got a call from one of the magazines in New York. They got a story, Steven Tyler is saying that he has a child who is also in this business, that he’s hoping to reach out to and connect with, he didn’t realize that this was his son’ and I had them play it off like ‘this is ridiculous’ so we were laughing about it all day.
And then his mom called him later and said ‘I need to talk to you.’ Yeah. [laughs]
I saw his whole life flash before his eyes in about 10 seconds…
He was obviously disappointed that his parents weren’t his parents and his whole life was a lie. A little traumatic.

So not only did Blake pull this very mean elaborate prank on her boyfriend, a prank that involved sequential steps in which a less self-confident person might have backed out and admitted it was joke, she used it as an anecdote to recount on national television. Personally, I hope she’s didn’t pull it off like this or it wasn’t as convincing as she’s trying to portray. Either way, she strikes me as rather cold and calculating.
NOTE BY KAISER: I think Blake is really self-confident, to the point where she kind of comes across as an a–hole. Whatever!
