Continuing along with filming efforts for the upcoming season, Blake Lively, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick were on a yacht-based set of "Gossip Girl" in Long Beach, CA on Wednesday (August 3).
The trio of co-stars looked to be having a fabulous time as they were tended to by set workers before delving into the summertime shoot.
The filming duties come just as it has been announced that the hit drama has expanded its fifth season by two episodes, bringing the total number of installments for Fall 2011 up to 24.
Meanwhile, to catch all of the action, be sure to tune in when "Gossip Girl" returns with the season premiere airing Monday, September 26 at 8/7c on The CW.

Making the most of the beautiful weather, Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively were seen biking in New York City on Saturday (July 30).
The ?Titanic? stud and the ?Gossip Girl? actress were joined by Lukas Haas as they pedaled their way around Manhattan, firmly cementing their relationship in the ?still going strong? category.
Blake has been tied down to the Big Apple as of late as her CW show began filming for the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio has been gearing up for the October release of his new flick ?J. Edgar,? also starring Blake?s costar Ed Westwick.

Rumors of a breakup between Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have pretty much been disproven after the two were seen at a concert together and now eating tacos at Pink Taco in LA.
Lively and DiCaprio had a lunch date at the taco shop on Wednesday. Leo wore his trademark baseball cap and jeans while Blake wore a floppy hat and jeans. Luckily, no one noticed me in the corner staring at them in a birthday hat and jeans.
Spies say they sat side by side in a booth and shared a plate of tacos. They were whispering very quietly and no one bothered them. That is until I came up to them, pointed and yelled, “Fatty fat fat fat,” before shoving their tacos in my mouth.

Here are some more photos of Blake Lively filming Savages, being directed by Oliver Stone. She?s a movie star, remember? I keep seeing photos of the cast of Gossip Girl back at work in NYC, so it?s interesting to me that Blake is in LA filming this movie. I?m sure she cleared everything with Gossip Girl producers and they made allowances for her in the schedule and everything, I?m not saying that. I?m saying that the next move for Blake is for her to find an excuse to leave Gossip Girl for some reason. She won?t go the Dame Katherine Heigl route, which is to bitch and whine and act unprofessional until the writers and producers are simply fed up - but I do think Blake is looking for a reason to leave her ?TV Girl? career behind and become a big-time movie star.
Meanwhile, Blake is enjoying her time in LA. According to Page Six, she and Leonardo DiCaprio had another quiet date, this time with tacos:
Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio dispelled any rumors that they’ve split because of Lively’s “Gossip Girl” filming schedule in New York over a cozy lunch date at Pink Taco in LA yesterday. DiCaprio wore a white baseball cap and jeans while Lively sported a similar look in a floppy hat and jeans.
“They shared a plate of tacos and sat in a booth side by side,” a spy said. “They were whispering very quietly. No one bothered them.”
Lively’s rep didn’t get back to us.

Nice. Quiet. Low-key. (Cheap?) Interesting. I still don?t know if this is going to last for much longer - I?m not getting a sixth-gossip-sense feeling about them, like I am with a couple like Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston. I feel strongly that Theroniston will make it into 2012 - but with DiLively? Will there be a Blanardo in 2012? I hope Blake?s hustle is as good as I think it is. I really, really want to see them on a red carpet together.

Back for another long day's work, Blake Lively was busy shooting scenes for her new movie "Savages" in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday (July 26).
Clad in a bright turquoise robe, the "Gossip Girl" beauty hopped in and out of a sporty little Mini Cooper for the Oliver Stone directed film about "two pot growers who face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend."
On another note, rumors have gained momentum regarding Miss Lively signing on to stars in a "Sex and the City" prequel - with the Daily Mail reporting that it's a done deal.
The Daily Mail story adds that Blake will be joined by Selena Gomez, Emma Roberts, and Elizabeth Olsen in the movie to be named "The Carrie Diaries".

Blake Lively was dumped by Leonardo DiCaprio because his mom couldn’t stand how full of herself she was when they met. Being dropped by one of the world’s most eligible bachelors because his mom hates you isn’t a good feeling. But that’s nothing some retail therapy won’t fix. Amirite, ladies? Ovary high five!

Here are some photos of Blake Lively shooting some scenes for her new role as ?The Girlfriend? in the new film Savages. I can?t believe they?re going with that title. I guess they don?t realize that there was an Oscar-nominated film just a few years ago called The Savages. Anyway, if you couldn?t tell from these photos, Blake is really stretching as an actress. I believe her character is a rich girl who shops a lot and flashes her boobs and then whines. OSCAR! Savages is directed by Oliver Stone, so? eh. Working with Stone gives Blake some extra credibility as an actress, I have to admit. We?ll see how bad it is.
Speaking of Blake?s once and future career as a TV Girl, did you know that she?s at the top of list to play the young Samantha Jones in the ?prequel? Sex & the City projects? Allegedly, producers want Blake for Sam, Emma Roberts for Miranda (ugh), Selena Gomez for Charlotte and Elizabeth Olsen for Carrie. In an ideal world, these prequels would not be made, but in a not-so-ideal-but-still-better world, they would get someone truly sassy, and a versatile comedienne to play Sam. Sam always had the most physical work to do, and I just don?t think Blake would be up for anything other than flipping her hair and mumbling her lines.
Also: Leo and Blake went out on a date to a Stevie Wonder concert at the Hollywood Bowl. According to sources, ?Dressed incognito ? Leo sporting his trademark baseball cap and Blake a stylish white fedora ? the pair hid their faces and stood apart as they entered the venue, in an effort to blend in to the crowd. After the romantic gig the duo snuck out separately in an effort to go unnoticed, but dived into the same waiting car.? Hm? getting ?shy? all of a sudden? What?s that about?

Kicking off the work week, Blake Lively was spotted hard at work on her new film ?The Savages? in Los Angeles.
The ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? babe looked lovely in a lilac dress as she carried a bevy of shopping bags while filming a scene at a local mall. Blake?s movie gig comes after an enchanted weekend with her boyfriend Leonardo DiCaprio.
Things started off in Santa Barbara, where Blake met up with her ?Titanic? hunk after flying in from New York City, where she?d been working on ?Gossip Girl.?
The fabulous pair was seen shopping for sunglasses at the Solstice Sunglass Boutique, and Lively reportedly helped Leo pick out some new shades.
A source at the store told press, ?They seemed very much in love. They were in the store for about 10 minutes before a crowd of fans noticed them and they rushed out.?
And on Sunday night, Miss Lively and Mr. DiCaprio flew under the paparazzi radar for the most part as they attended Stevie Wonder?s concert at the Hollywood Bowl.

I?m not going to go off on some kind of screed about how you should never trust random tabloids. Yes, it seemed like an utterly random (and budget) British tabloid (Now Magazine) got way too much attention when they claimed last week that Leonardo DiCaprio had dumped Blake Lively because his mommy thought Blake was full of herself. From my perspective, Now Mag was just doing what they always do: generally pulling stuff out of their collective asses. It just got blown up to legit celebrity gossip, I think, because so many people are interested in the Leo-Blake pairing, and many are rooting for Blake in particular to botch it. Maybe because she?s so young. Maybe because her hustle is so good. Maybe because she seems more ?ambitious? than ?talented? and that turns people off. I don?t know. I kind of like Blake and Leo together, although, realistically, I do think she?ll get dumped at some point. But not today! Or any day soon:
Their love knows no distance! Though Blake Lively recently returned to New York City to film scenes for Gossip Girl’s fifth season, the 23-year-old actress met up with new beau Leonardo DiCaprio in Santa Barbara, Calif. Wednesday.
The lovey-dovey twosome were spotted shopping for Carrera X-cede shades at the Solstice Sunglass Boutique. Known for her impeccable style, Lively helped DiCaprio, 35, find the perfect pair of sunglasses.
The coupled talked quietly as they browsed the store, never letting go of one another.
“They seemed very much in love,” a store rep tells Us Weekly. “They were in the store for about 10 minutes before a crowd of fans noticed them and they rushed out.”
Since they began dating in May, the couple has been spotted everywhere from Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. to European hotspots like Monte Carlo, Venice, Italy and Saint-Paul de Vence, France.

There?s no doubt in my mind that Blake and her team is behind this ?sighting? and my takeaway is that Blake?s publicist is as talented and hard-working as Jennifer Aniston?s. I thought these random reports and ?sightings? of Blake and Leo were over because he liked things more private, but I guess that all bets are off with this one.
Anyway, they?re still together, huzzah! Blake wins again! Mall Girls Forever! I seriously have my fingers crossed that they make it through the year and beyond. I want Blake to be Leo?s Oscar date. I want Blake and Leo, holding hands, walking the Oscar red carpet? with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux behind them. Which couple would get more attention?
