I find it mystifying that red hair looks so great when done in a salon la Blake Lively, but so terrible on people who are born with it. I tried raising my concerns to several naturally red-headed women I saw at the mall yesterday, but they were surprisingly unhelpful in my query. I just chalked it up to their having the mark of the Devil and made sure to spit and make the sign of the cross after one of them inadvertently touched me.

Blake Lively went to the Time Magazine 100 party in a pale blue draped gown that was cut to reveal a bedazzled bra, similar to the black bra-baring dress she wore to the Boston premiere of The Town. I initially thought it was by the same designer, Antonio Berardi, but it’s Zuhair Murad according to Popeater. Leave it to Blake to find two cutaway dresses from different designers.
The talk isn’t about Blake’s fashion this time though, it’s about her hair. She dyed her trademark blonde locks a kind of strawberry blonde. The color looks very fake to me in the photos, like it’s a wig. It doesn’t seem to suit her, but that could also be due to her pale peach lipstick and very light Pink blush. With other makeup she could probably pull it off. She’s pretty no matter her hair color, I just think she looked better as a blonde.
Popeater reports that Blake may have dyed her hair for her role as Glinda the Good Witch in Oz, the Great and Powerful. She has brown hair for her role in The Green Lantern, out this summer, and she told Billy Bush that she dyed it brown during filming, but we never saw her with brown hair around that time so she must have kept it under wraps. She revealed to Bush in early April that “I’m about to change my hair again for another role,” so I guess this is what she meant. I’m betting she’ll be back to blonde soon enough.

She?s always up for a good time, and last night (April 26) Blake Lively was spotted at the Time 100 Gala in New York City.
The ?Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? babe showed off her sexy new red hairdo as she posed for the paparazzi in a Zuhair Murad Haute Couture evening gown.
During the course of the evening, Blake enjoyed chatting with her fellow attendees such as ?Saturday Night Live? star Seth Meyers.
And Miss Lively was more than just a spectator- she was named to Time magazine?s 100 Most Influential people of 2011.

They ended their relationship last year, but over the weekend Blake Lively and Penn Badgley were said to have been flirting with each other at the Coachella Music Festival.
According to a report, the ?Gossip Girl? costars supposedly hooked up at the VIP Rose Garden on Saturday sparking rumors that they are back together.
However, a rep for Ms. Lively has confirmed that she was nowhere near the festival. ?She is shooting a film on the east coast.?
Despite the fact that they?re split, Blake and Penn have managed to maintain a friendly coexistence and recently wrapped up the fourth season of their hit CW show.

Spending another day promoting alongside one another, Blake Lively joined Ryan Reynolds to partake in the 2011 WonderCon festivities in San Francisco, California on Friday evening (April 1).
Held at the Moscone Convention Center, the "Gossip Girl" actress and her "Adventureland" co-star were boosting interest in their upcoming movie "Green Lantern" at the comics and popular arts event.
Having made an appearance at CinemaCon earlier in the week, Lively told MTV News about her passion for comics, saying, "I'm actually a really big comic book movie geek. I didn't read comics ever. I'm not a boy; I don't know if you can tell," she joked. "I was saying I never wanted to be an actor, so I would watch these superhero movies and come out and want to crawl up walls or do these karate kicks or fly or whatever it is."
Blake added, "For me, I was like a kid when I found out I got this [role]. I was like, 'What kind of stunts am I going to do?' I was thrilled to be a part of it. I've always loved these kinds of movies. I do think, I know everybody says this, but I do think it's different."

Blake Lively was at the closing Night Ceremony for the 2011 Edition of Cinemacon at Pure Nightclub where she won an award. Seems like a real honor but it really wasn’t. They were practically handing them out like candy. Even Vin Diesel got one. When that guy wins the same award as you, the only appropriate place to put it is in the trash can.

Stepping out for a swanky affair, Blake Lively continued a long day by attending the CinemaCon Awards Ceremony in Las Vegas last night (March 31).
The ?Gossip Girl? babe showed up at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace looking nothing short of amazing in a beautiful red dress with massive earrings as she was brought onstage to accept the Breakthrough Performer of the Year award.
Blake is at CinemaCon to promote her upcoming flick ?The Green Lantern? with Ryan Reynolds, and she told press that her formula for finding roles is more about feeling than strategy.
?Every job I?ve done has been a passion project for me. I?ve never done anything because somebody told me I should. It?s been something I?ve connected with and loved.?

These are some new photos of Blake Lively at CinemaCon on Thursday. I think Blake and Ryan Reynolds were previewing The Green Lantern there, in Las Vegas. I?ve included photos of Ryan below - he got a haircut. I appreciate that he?s changing up his look, but I kind of think it?s too short. But never mind Ryan, we?ve got Blake! Apparently, Blake?s ?legsy? outfit is Dolce & Gabbana. I don?t mind it, honestly. She?s been wearing so much stuff that offends me lately, I?m just happy that I?m not staring at her stiff-looking rack here. I also think Blake is looking a bit healthier in these photos. When I last saw her - about three weeks ago - she was looking a touch too thin. In these photos, she looks better.
I also have something scary to admit - ordinarily, I hate ankle booties. Personally, I can?t pull them off, and even if I could, I?m not sure I would want too. I usually find them so unflattering, but these specific booties on Blake, with the cool little opening on top? well, I kind of want them. I really want them. They?re totally cute. Of course, she?s still too down-market and cheap for Chanel. But if she wanted to sell me some of her magnificent booties, I wouldn?t hate her. Oh, and regarding Chanel: E! News reports that Karl Lagerfeld is going to take Blake as his ?date? to the Met Costume Institute Gala!
UPDATE: I somehow missed that Blake had a “costume change” in the middle of the event! Here she is at the same CinemaCon Event, only now she’s wearing Marchesa. Thoughts?
Here?s Ryan? do you think Blake was trying to hit that? I bet she tried to work it. I?m not sure if she succeeded though. I just noticed something - with this haircut, Ryan is giving me Josh Hartnett vibes. Anyone else?
